AFC Wimbledon have made a bid to sign Wrexham attacking midfielder Dominic Vose. Wimbledon have lacked a goalscoring central midfielder this season, and Neal Ardley has identified London-born Vose, who has already got into double figures for the Conference side, as the man to provide that extra attacking edge. Newport County and Cheltenham Town have also made offers for the player, but he may prefer a move back to London.

Peterborough United have had a bid for Wimbledon midfielder Jake Reeves rejected. Reeves has been integral to the Dons this season and his high energy performances have attracted a host of admirers. The Dons may look to cash in on the midfielder, as his contract expires at the end of the season.

Wimbledon have made an offer for Bristol City centre back Adam El-Abd. The former Egypt international helped Bury climb out of League Two last season. He was on loan there from the Robins, where he started last season but fell out of favour. Ironically he played his final game for City against the Dons in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. This season he was loaned out to Swindon Town where he has recently returned from and has said he will not return. The Dons hope that they can secure El-Abd for a small fee, but will face competition from a host of League One and League Two clubs, including Bury, Leyton Orient, Rochdale and Shrewsbury Town.

The Dons are also considering boosting their options in defence with the loan signing of either giant centre back Cameron Burgess from Fulham, or marauding full back Nico Yennaris from Brentford.

Wimbledon will let George Oakley and Ben Harrison leave in the next two weeks. Oakley has had injury problems, and hopes to put those behind him with a move to Aldershot. Initially on loan, with an option to sign permanently in the summer.
Harrison broke into the Dons' starting eleven last season, but has found himself confined to the development squad, with little opportunity to even sit on the bench. Harrison has asked to be allowed a short term loan spell, and a move to Sutton United should be completed very soon.

After scoring both goals in Wimbledon's FA Youth Cup win away at Newcastle United, Alfie Egan has attracted the attention of Tottenham, Southampton and one of Wimbledon's potential opponents in the next round, Chelsea.

Fulham have made a bid for Egan's under-18 teammate Will Mannion. The 17-year-old is a tall goalkeeper who is being watched by England youth team selectors, and will join an England goalkeeper training camp next week. Mannion has travelled with the Dons first team squad for several games this season, but has failed to make the bench. The young keeper has expressed his desire to stay with the Dons, and is enjoying being part of their historic Youth Cup run, but his outstanding displays have caught the attention of a whole host of Premier League sides' scouts.

Highly rated Aldershot town defender Omar Beckles looks set to sign for port vale.
Portsmouth and Bradford also interested but looks as if vale have won the race.

12 Jun 2015 10:22:00
Wycombe Wanderers among the sides in the chase for Aldershot striker Brett Williams. Plenty of interest though from League 1/2 clubs

12 Jun 2015 11:55:33
I think he's been down to Roots Hall to meet with Phil Brown.

25 Mar 2015 15:44:01
Partick Agyemang has left Portsmouth by mutual consent, D&R are favourites to get his signature as he had a loan spell with them earlier in the season! But aldershot, Hartlepool and Oxford utd are all in the running.

02 Feb 2015 12:29:34
Oldham Athletic are set to announce the signing of Aldershot Striker Brett Williams On a two year deal.

13 Jan 2015 09:59:04
Looks like Aldershot Town striker Brett Williams is off north of the border with St Mirren and St Johnstone keen to take the hitman.

Troy Deeney of Watford on WBA radara.

Gosport Boro striker Matt Paterson being courted by Portsmouth, Oxford, Swindon and now Crawley.

Andy Johnson will snub Wycombe and sign for Luton.

And finally, Rotherham's Fabian Brandy will sign for Rochdale.

quick re-brief of our targets:
Fernando Pacheco - becoming more likely, yet it is getting even quieter as there isn't much notice to this, and it is claimed to be on a loan until the end of the season.
Juan Muniz - all rounded midfielder who can easily give Tomlin a run for his place and is very competitive
Niguez - basically a full on, but younger, version of Whitehead (who is way past his peak in my opinion)

Our right back solution has been resurrected by the arrival of Tomas Kalas so there won't be any more arrivals for the Right back spot, however, two new targets who are under the radar from media have been linked with Boro. These are Tom Cairney who has been mentioned now and again, but nothing has went ahead just yet ( ). The second target is a versatile centre back who can also play in midfield, his name is Marios Oikonomou and he is only 22 years old, so has time to improve even further. He has played for Greece Under 21s and has a good relationship with Dimi Konstantopolous, who we could use to persuade Oikonomou to come to Middlesbrough.

Extra: Mark Hughes has let Robert Huth go out on loan to a Championship club. Watford are winning the race at the moment, but 2 other Football League clubs are interested.

14 Jan 2015 15:21:52
Fernando Pacheco on a loan until the end of the season may have become even more quiet, but it is still going on and is looking increasingly likely as Konstantopolous turns 37, we have Mejias as our back up at the moment and Karanka is concerned that if we get promoted, how will they cope?.

I know we still have Ripley, but he still needs experience, as that is beneficial to both him and the club, look at how Reach and Gibson turned out, an influential duo who play a significant part in Karanka's future plans.

Niguez (also known as Jony) is a younger kind of version of Whitehead is way past his peak, whereas Muniz is a more all-rounded midfielder.

14 Jan 2015 15:24:07
My mate from whom I get my information was here and I put the above names to him. Pacheco remains a target but Ivan Perez Munoz advises that Mejias outshone Pacheco at Madrid, my friend wouldn't be surprised if we swooped for a more experienced goalie whilst he knows Aitor to be an admirer of Muniz and Niguez but not interested in signing either yet (I must stress the yet apparently). He has heard nothing of Cairney but says it could be possible. There is no interest in Oikonomou though my friend is an admirer of his, Karanka has no awareness of the player. Fran Merida deal could be back on after Milos Veljkovic's loan extension failed.

15 Jan 2015 07:08:38
Fernando Pacheco is a younger keeper than Mejias, and Mejias hasn't really proven himself to be an adequate keeper who will be able to replace Konstantopolous in the near future.

Oikonomou is a 22 year old central defender who is well known by Dimi Konstantopolous as they have played in the Greece National acedemy side together, (Oikonomou was just 16 then).

Cairney is a target that is going under the radar as there has been hardly, or no mention at all, yet it is a likely possibility he could arrive in Teesside considering Veljkovic has went back to Spurs, and Whitehead seemingly past his peak and seems to be more fitted to our right back role, thus leaving just Clayton, Leadbitter and our young future prospect Bryn Morris as our only Centre midfielders. Muniz and Niguez are also potential targets to arrive in teesside.

Extra: I've been reading the Evening Gazette and it is suggested that an Emerson-type of midfielder is set to arrive on Teesside. Anyone got any idea who this could be?

Oikonomou and Dimi did not play together in the Greek youth teams because Dimi would have been ineligible to do so six years ago as he would have been 31. Furthermore, Cairney is not someone who the club have expressed an interest in but I personally would love to see him at the Riverside. Muniz and Niguez cannot be called targets yet as Boro have no interest in actually signing them, but Karanka does admire the players. As for the Emerson article in the gazette you have misunderstood. If Pacheco does come in it will be if/when Mejias departs so Pacheco can be second choice goalkeeper

I meant like player/coach type, you know what I mean, sorry about that little mix up.
And no I have not misunderstood the Emerson article as Karanka is looking for a loanee who can replace Milos Veljkovic.
I think everyone would love Tom Cairney at the Riverside! He is a good player and even though it is not out with the media, Karanka isn't impressed with Mejias, so is considering whether it'll be more beneficial to send him out on loan to free up wages or to sell him permanently to free the transfer budget up as well as the wages. What would you do if you were Karanka?

18 Jan 2015 16:35:23
Oh I thought you meant that their was some kind of friendship between the two Greeks. In fact, it's quite probable that the two have never met. The Emerson article was in no way a reference to any potential incomer, it was just to remember a fantastic player. Cairney, ideal signing. Karanka has said he will not sign a new first choice goalkeeper until the summer, but if whether Mejias is sold or loaned out, Pacheco would be the replacement second choice. If I were Karanka I'd pack the poor lad back of to Spain where he is more comfortable

23 Jun 2014 12:28:59
AFC Wimbledon will sign 32-year-old centre half Mark Phillips in the early part of this week having beaten off competition from Aldershot for his signature.

13 Jun 2014 19:07:01
Adam Mekki is being tracked by Bristol Rovers after leaving Aldershot Town.

03 Jun 2014 16:13:33
Dave Winfield will be announced as Oxfords first summer signing later this week.

Previously worked with Gary Waddock at both Aldershot Town & Wycombe Wanderers.

Considering Danny Hylton has signed, no way can Dave Winfield be the first signing

Signed for York City

16 May 2014 11:35:42
Plymouth Argyle still keen to take Aldershot striker Brett Williams

Accrington Stanley are looking at bringing in Salisbury striker Jamie White

Stevenage's Michael Tholossotitis could be on his way to Wimbledon

06 May 2014 10:26:50
The rumours are flying about in the lower leagues:

James Constable Oxford to Rotherham or Swindon Town
Brett Williams Aldershot to Plymouth Argyle
Andre Grey Luton to Coventry or Spersonhrope
Jake Hyde Barnet to Wimbledon or Burton Albion
Matt Paterson Aldershot to Burton Albion or Bristol Rovers
Lee Gregory Halifax to Huddersfield
Sam Winnall Scunthorpe to Brentford
Luke Ayling Yeovil to Watford
Dan Bentley Southend to Peterborough
Reece Styche FGR to Barnet

06 May 2014 13:25:02
Luke Ayling would be a good asset for Watford. Talented 22 year old defender

Danny Kedwell Gillingham to Wimbledon

06 May 2014 20:48:38
I have heard Scunthorpe (the team I support)have 3 main transfers targets in the summer will hoskins, o, toole and andy butler is there any truth to theses rumours. Is there any more targets that I don't know. And who do you think will leave scunny in the summer.

James Constable to Rotherham or Swindon, it really is silly season. Not good enough for League 2 let alone League 1.

06 May 2014 22:54:11
With Rovers letting 15 players go, and of the retained players, at least 8 players will be moving on to clubs in league 1 or 2 there is going to be a major rebuild at the mem - Luton and Wrexham had 29 and 27 players for the season 2013/14 so Rovers to have any chance to return to league two next year - in time for the new ground - I make that they will need to sign at least 24 players? and I can't see that happening -I hope it does. let's hope the players they sign are better then the last 3 years as the football at the MEM has been the worst I have seen in over 40years of supporting the club, Come on Rovers let's get back to 10 years ago were we were heading up the league and not down

07 May 2014 09:46:44
Watford have taken an interest once again in Reece Wabara who recently left Manchester City.

07 May 2014 17:27:23
please can anyone tell me who watford are trying to sign please.

We are trying to sign according to the Watford local paper, Matej Vydra most probably a season long loan and sign Daniel Tozser on a permanent contract

05 May 2014 16:45:11
Non League Round Up

Aldershot are looking at bringing in Chester player of the season Lewis Turner in on loan for next season from parent club Leeds Utd.

Grimsby's Aswad Thomas will be off this close season with a number of League clubs ready to take him on, namely, Oldham, Bury and Chesterfield.

Wrexham have pretty much tied up deals for Louis Moult and Wes York from Nuneaton.

Halifax are waiting to hear on the future of Lee Gregory who is more than likely football league bound before setting out on a spending spree starting with James Walshaw from Altrincham.

05 May 2014 21:03:08
Nuneaton to Wrexham would be a step back not forward

Theres no way halifax would make a move for walshaw. As good of a signing he might be for them walshaw insulted the club when he went there on loan a couple of seasons ago, the fans hate him.

29 Jan 2014 13:18:49
After a very successful loan period with Aldershot, Millwall striker Aiden O'Brien will join Torquay United on Loan.

22 Jan 2014 08:51:35
Burton Albion to bring in two strikers from last season's squad to help with their goalscoring problems. Calvin Zola now Aberdeen and Matt Paterson currently at Aldershot are on Gary Rowett's radar, he desperately needs the extra firepower as although close to the top of the table they are just not scoring enough goals.

Alan Gow's move to Bristol Rovers is still on the cards.

Dartford hope to get Harry Crawford from Barnet back yet again on loan until the end of the season.

28 Jan 2014 20:50:14
will drive him down to u he's been usless up here

Who Zola? He was so good for Burton last season.

21 Jan 2014 17:02:07
AFC Wimbledon are looking to complete a loan deal for Rotherham striker Danny Hylton. The forward needs to first shake off the groin injury, which curtailed his spell at League 2 side Bury. This is not the first time the Dons have been linked with the controversial ex-Aldershot forward. Hylton has been constantly linked with a move to Kingston-based side, dating back to when the Dons were in the Ryman League, managed then by Terry Brown.

20 Jan 2014 14:17:23
Brett Williams of Aldershot, the current Conference Premier highest goal scorer, is in talks with Yeovil Town.

Bristol Rovers want Colchester striker Freddie Sears, Rovers are willing to pay a substantial transfer fee.

Alan Gow of Exeter could be on the move to either Gillingham or Rochdale.

20 Jan 2014 16:11:08
Brett Williams are you serious couldn't score in L2 and L1 and going to the championship the guy is not capable. He was at Reading and he wasnt good enough for them and Yeovil must be mad if true. He is a Conference player and that is his limit.

20 Jan 2014 19:21:10
Gills linked with Alan Gow again, that must be the last 4 transfer windows that has happened! So I can't see that holding any truth

20 Jan 2014 20:44:06
Gow is on contract until the end of the season so its unlikely that gillingham would pay a fee

20 jan 2014 22:17:55
alan gow in talks with bristol rovers the club looking at a winger too

Yeovil see Williams as a perfect replacement for Madden, indeed he's stronger and better in the air than Madden. As for not being good enough for L1/2 - he's made a big difference at Aldershot and in the League, deserves a shot.

21 Jan 2014 19:20:27
Yeovil are going to have to gamble on forwards, proven goals scorers at the right level are way out of yeovils price range

Ha ha now Gow is going to Bristol Rovers, every window someone from Exeter City is going to Rovers and every window it doesn't happen. Check your sources because they are terrible

15 Jan 2014 17:57:13
Striker Aiden O'Brien to return to Millwall following very successful loan period with Aldershot. O'Brien will be given a chance to prove himself to Holloway, however, Southend and Colchester are both keen on taking him on loan until the end of the season.

Aldershot striker Brett Williams is wanted by Yeovil and Bristol City, deal could be done shortly.

One of the loan signings looks to be Leicester left back zoumana bakayoko

11 Jan 2014 11:09:10
Yeovil Town, Bristol City, Bradford City and Leyton Orient are all chasing Aldershot and confrence top-scorer Brett Williams
