Rangers have cheated thier way to league and cup wins by paying players high wages rather than pay taxman ,they deserve all they get the should also have all thier ill gotten wins made nul and void why should the rest of Scottish football be cheated against ,just because its Rangers,Hearts ,motherwell airdrie ,clydebank and Gretna will not feel sorry for this half of the old firm, you made your bed ....enough said

Rangers deserve what they get

We dont need them celtic fan

Agree with celtic fan what else is to come out from Ibrox GWD HEARTS

I see a lot of celtic fans gloating over the circumstances surrounding Rangers f.c.Maybe some of them celtic fans have short memories was it not that long ago they were 24 hours away trom a similiar position.Real celtic fans know and realise that if we go out of businness it will have an affect on the whole spl.Lets face it how big of a drop in gates across the spl would this be we see often enough when celtic or rangers are playing away games the home teams support is often outnumbered.Less crowds less money. Also less T.V money so for Lawell to claim this would have no impact is just a sweatener to keep celtic fans happy anyone who knows anything about football knows it will have a huge impact.I have celtic palls and most would agree also can Whyte be held tottaly accountable for all the criticism it has been going on a long time before he appeared.

The mighty rangers fall

Celtic next, just proves scottish leagues are terrible, I think its about time they bring the scots over to our league, except rangers, celtic should start in the championship and teams like hearts, motherwell, hibs ect..should start in league one and if they get promoted then it is on merit!

Bristol City boss Derek McInnes, is set to bring in three new faces this week and they could even be available for their next league game.
McInnes is keen on two midfielders and a striker but has been told if he wants anymore, he would have to sell to recruit.
The first midfielder expected to sign is 23 year old midfielder Greg Cameron. Cameron was released by Dundee United in the summer and has been training with the club since beginning of December. Cameron is believed to be very close to signing a three month deal.
The second midfielder close to signing is Charlie Miller. Miller was recently released by Clyde and has played in Australia and Norway. Miller is 35 years old and McInnes believes he has the experience vital for Championship football.
The third and final player is Arvydas Novikovas from Hearts. The attacker will sign on loan until the end of the season and will sign on a free transfer once his contract is up at the SPL side. The Lithuanian international believes he can make an impact at Championship level.

Last time i seen charlie miller was in the scottish masters when he played for rangers, must of been around july/aug. He looked atleast 4 or 5 stone overweight to be a pro footballer so if this is true you better hope he's been putting the miles in on the treadmill. Clyde are 3rd or 4th bottoom of the scots rd div and he got released yet DM wants him lol. The other 2 i dont know much about although i can remember the lithuanian making a few headlines a while back because of some of his displays for hearts.

Rangers to bid 50k for clyde striker stephen mcdonald

Can they afford him or do they want to pay in instalements over the course of the contract?

06 Aug 2011 22:07:52
Rangers don't have that kinda dough

Lol instalments i love it....

The hoops will come in just sign him to work as a groundsman so the horde dont get hold of him....

Are you sure ? That's an AWFUL lot of money for Rangers. This will surely significantly deplete the Warchest

Leeds United ins:

Cheetah
Bubbles
Clyde
Micky Dolenz

We pay peanuts, we get monkeys.

I'm a believer

Superb - thanks for making me laugh this morning
Saw Leeds at the gunners last season and your support was fantastic. Good luck this season

Haha nice one I am a Leeds fan and to be fair even Sc@mchestee fans want us back in the Prem to have a good scrap with us once more ;) On a serious note as funny as the post is it's a bit disturbing how little we are spending given we're charging £36 for a Hull City Tuesday night fixture in East Stand lower. Don't get me wrong I can afford it but it's pricing out the die Garda and a 7.45 kick off isn't kind on commuters/workers trying to get in or around Leeds. Thats the way it goes eh MOT

Should read die hard not garda stupid iphone lol but you catch my drift. Anyone know what's going down with Gradel?

Bradford City are giving pre-season trials to five players, including former Leeds striker Tom Elliott.

Midfielders Scott Brown and Steven Arau, winger Nahki Wells and forward Patrick Lacey are also with the club.

Manager Peter Jackson told the club website: "Tom Elliott is a big strong lad - 6ft 4in centre forward - and one we want to have a look at.

"There will be other triallists coming in during pre-season but it is good to have a look at different players."

In 2007 Elliott became the first Leeds player to make his debut while still at school, but has gone on to make just four appearances for the Elland Road club.

The 21-year-old has since had loan spells at Macclesfield, Bury and Rotherham before moving to Hamilton on a free transfer.

We know that we missed out on a couple of good players last week, but every club will miss out on targets this summer
Bradford City manager

Peter Jackson
"Paddy Lacey is another young lad we have on trial. He's been at Sheffield Wednesday, " Jackson continued.

"We had him in at the back end of last season and he impressed, so we have decided to bring him back in for another chance during pre-season.

"Scott Brown from Clydebank is a 16-year-old who has played in their first team already, and Steven Arau from Wolfburg - another midfielder - has also joined us for training."

Jackson has made two signings so far, with the capture of Guy Branston from Torquay and the arrival of Ross Hannah from Matlock Town.

The Bradford boss added: "While we have a few trialists in, we are also speaking to some players this week as well with a view to them signing with us.

"There are still around six or seven weeks to go before the start of the season. We know there is still plenty of time to sign players up ahead of the season.

"We know that we missed out on a couple of good players last week, but every club will miss out on targets this summer. Unlike some clubs, we were just honest enough to keep fans in the picture."
