Oxford United to bring in Chris Templeman from Forfar.

Thats interesting. Nothing locally in press of Forums, though think Oxford are planning a pre season in Scotland. So maybe?

First Proposed plans for the SPL-SFL 2012/13 league season the teams:

SPL:

Aberdeen, Celtic, Dundee, Dundee United, Hearts, Hibernian, Inverness Caly Thistle, Kilmarnock, Motherwell, Ross Country, St Johnstone and St Mirren.

SFL1:

Airdrie United, Cowdenbeath, Dumbarton, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Greenock Morton, Hamilton Acamdemical, Livingstone, Partick Thistle and Raith Rovers.

SFL2:

Albion Rovers, Alloa Athletic, Arbroath, Ayr United, Brechin City, East Fife, Forfar Athletic, Queen of the South, Stanraer and Stenhousemuir.

SFL3:

Annan Atheltic, Berwick Rangers, Clyde, East Stirlingshire, Elgin City, Montrose, Peterhead, Queen's Park, Rangers and Stirling Albion.

Will Rangers "Newco" have any players left to be able to put out a team?

Scottish utility man Ryan Mcguffie in talks with Rotherham, Oxford and Aldershot.
If you dont know him, think Ben Davies of Shrewsbury / Notts county / Derby etc
Can play RB, RM or CM. excellent dead ball specialist.
30 years old and available on a free.
Previous clubs include Gretna, Forfar and Queen of the South.

Why don't county sign him then?
they could do with some players.
pne have signed 13 this month, county have signed none

Read it properly!! The guy is saying that Mcguffie is in talks with Oxford and two others!!...he say's that if you do not know who Mcguffie is then think of Ben Davies because they are similar...read it and you'll see that Davies played for PNE / County etc....not that they are after Mcguffie!!
Jeez....and they Oxford mob gloat about their educational facilities!! Maybe they should try using them!!

If he is as good as Ben Davies he wouldnt be going to league 2.

No one said he was as good...it simply gives the impression that the players are similar..as in style etc!!

after tomorows game againest forfar athletic aberdeen will announce the good news that stand in captain Kari Anarson has signed a 2-year-deal with the club

Brighton are very close to signing two more players before the deadline tomorrow night. Chris Templeman from Forfar Athletic could see a deal signed by this afternoon but will only sign a one month rolling contract after scoring a number of important goals for the Scottish side. The second player is young Grimsby forward Dayle Southwell. The 17 year old striker was wanted by Chelsea last christmas but a deal didn't go through and Gus Poyet looks set to spend £200,000 on the player.
