Stevie May of Hamilton is in talks with Notts County. He has scored 43 goals in his last 53 games over the last two seasons. Only 20. he fits Kiwomyas youth policy.

15 May 2013 20:15:29
correction to my own post, he's on loan at Hamilton and contracted to St Johnstone!

Did you get this off my post on NCM? I suggested him! I hope he signs, would be quality.

Bolton look set to sign Hamilton Accies young 18 yera old defender Gary Fraser. Due at Reebok on Monday for a medical according to Bolton News. Can only see him being one for the future.

We will need a replacement a left back if Alonso goes to Italy and I think another winger now Petrov has gone to put pressure on Lee and in particular Eagles who looks to comfortable with no one pushing him. Why not go for Alan Judge from Notts County?

Alan judge is an attacking midfielder/playmaker...not a left back

You obviously can't read, I said we also need another winger now that Petrov has gone to put pressure on Lee and inparticular Eagles. I know Judge is not a left back!

Charlton athletic are looking to sign out of favour luke young from QPR! Also Chris Powell is thought to be interested in bringing in Daniel Redmond from Wigan if the money offered is enough to entice Wigan to recall the player from Hamilton! Going the other way is said to be bwp to either Bournemouth or notts county and Danny Hollands to Swindon for a fee of around 225k

Swindon are in financial trouble so unless Hollands is a free transfer this will not happen

Seeing as Swindon are skint and on the verge of administation, that seems unlikely.

I think you mean Doncaster NOT Swindon!! Apart from that, I have also heard of the other 3 and think Redmond would be a quality signing for our midfield

Charlton are stoney broke and need to offload players quickly so won't be buying anyone just getting in loans.

Hollands won't sign for Swindon as he picked up a nasty injury on Saturday that will keep him out many weeks.

I don't think Swindle have £2-25 let alone £225k LOL

Danny Redmond isn't at Hamilton. (not yet anyway!)

STFC aren't close to Administration, they don't have money to spend and signing Hollands won't happen, however a extension of his loan is on the cards.

Swindon on the verge of administration I think you have read what the chairman if Swindon has said

Again no they aren't on the verge of administration, they are in the same position as any other club who have no debts to anyone like HMRC or other clubs. Former chairman Jeremy Wray is seeking legal action over slander and lies, as in Swindon on the verge of admin. They are simply up for sale and a very marketable position with one of the best managers in the country, in a team that has scored 19 goals in the last 6 games and conceded only 1 goal.

The reported 13 mil is a little exaggerated but the club was in around 8-9 million in debt so the current consortium cleared that. And being relegated to Lge 2 that Oxford are in also had a massive financial impact plus PDC's blase spending spree last season.

On a different note Bristol Rovers have expressed a interest in Paul Benson.

The new owners have said that they want to buy Swindon with al its current players and that includes Hollands so a deal is likely.

22 Jan 2013 10:22:51
Swindon are signing some budget players as they are losing Danny Holands and other loan players soon....expect them to sign the OPE brothers from a Belgium side soon, NOA is a centre forward and ENVOL a burly centre half

14 Jan 2013 18:25:35

McGinty to return to Man Utd from Carlisle when his current loan expires, Carlisle to loan in Adam Cummins from Motherwell and sign Jonathon Page from Hamilton, Welsh to go out on loan for the rest of the season, {Ed007's Note - Page only signed for Hamilton the other day on a deal until the end of the season, he was released by Motherwell.}

Out of form Bristol City are soon to have a new management team in place.

Former City Striker Wayne Allison will take over the management of the team from Derek McInnes with Ade Akinbiyi as his assistant. Andy Cole, Brian Deane, Hamilton Ricard and Shaka Hislop will take over as coaches.

They will make a few signings this window.

Ins:
Steve Harper (Newcastle)
Shola Ameobi (Newcastle)
Andy Wilkinson (Stoke)
Titus Bramble (Sunderland)
Lee Hendrie
Tyrone Mears
Dean Leacock

Not a chance with brian deane s he became the new manager of norwegian side sarpsborg. as for shola ameobi maybe sami ameobi on loan but shola not a chance.

tommo

mot

Shola won't go, toon legend

Brian Deane is managing in Norway so that wont happen and Wayne Allison has been out of a job for 4 years!! come on

Andy Wilkinson Really He's a Stokie through And through doubt he would move.

The only credible part of this is out of form Bristol City. The poster has just started a post and got completely carried away. Sweet Dreams

I can't see Wilkinson going. hate to admit it, but I'd like to see him leave. Then we might get Faouzi Ghoulam from Saint-Etienne.

Ade akinbiyi does look as if he is joining the coaching staff as for Shaka hislop we have Nigel spink we don't need hislop

Britt Assombalonga: Colchester United
Stephan Hamilton-Forbes: Wealdstone
Tommie Hoban: Lincoln City
Connor Smith: Bohemians (League of Ireland)
Aaron Tumwa: Borehamwood
Matt Whichelow: Wycombe Wanderers

We are entering an u21 team this year so can't see that many youngsters going out on loan.

No we are not.

06 Aug 2012 11:20:20
Hamilton Accies have signed Jon Routledge from Stockport County.

04 Aug 2012 19:37:11
Two leave Edgeley Park.

Jon Routledge has left Stockport and signed for a fourth time with Hamilton Accs on a season long loan. Also Sean McConville has left to join a former manager at Rochdale. Sean found his time at Stockport hampered by a surprising loss of form and hopes to refind his ability at Dale.

These moves releaves funds which could be used to sign trialists Alex Meaney and Zach Rothwell.

The two trialist s are quality players. Sign em up Jim.

Why would division 1 winners Ross County not be in your SPL next season, and why would 4th placed Hamilton be in it if Ranger are relegated. Maximus needs reality check. No money in Scottish football, thats why its so bad.

Walsall are rumoured to be offering a trial to former Hamilton goalkeeper Tomas Cerny as they look to replace Veteran keeper Jimmy Walker who is expected to retire at the end of the season (Cerny had his contract terminated in February at the Scottish first division side)

Aberdeen midfielder Yoann Folly has also been linked with a summer move to the Saddlers {Ed007's Note - I have seen quite a bit of Cerny, he was instrumental in Hamilton's promotion to the SPL and done his part in keeping them there for a while. To be honest I was surprised when he was released.}

He was released due to a bad injury. cracking goalie!

Sensible answers only please,im not looking for abuse. Can anyone explain to me why Liverpool think Dalglish is a mesiah? Lets look at facts. Took over a brilliant Liverpool first time round then jumped ship with an ageing squad and Souness had to take the flak for rebuilding. Took over Blackburn when they were only team with money. Destroyed Keegans entertainers by replacing Ginola,Ferdinand etc with Garry Brady,Des Hamilton, then had the nerve to sue when he was run out of town. Messed up big style at Celtic and also sued when run out of town. Had 113m pound of signings to win a cup non of the big clubs want to win. Million miles away from top 4 and are worst Liverpool side in years. I always maintained that Keegan ( 2 european footballer of the year awards) was a far better player than Dalglish ( em scouse footballer of year once). The man is a fake and the Liverpool fans just cant see it.

Did i write this drunk and forgot, its exactly would i think and have for years thank you whoever you are sense at last

- Rhys Murphy (Arsenal Loan)
_________________________________________________
You certainly won't be getting Rhys Murphy back. He was training with Middlesborough in the summer and decided not to join as Rangers showed an interest where he played behind closed doors against Hamilton. He is a close friend of mine and I know for a fact 3 championship teams have all enquired about his availability.

Harlee Dean is one of our best youth players, £15,000 is about £200,000 off

As Steve Gillespie is a mate of mine i can honestly say that after speaking with him he has no idea where this story came from and has no intention of leaving Col U for Brentford

Ya ya freinds of him

Charlton have brought in 25 players this season, enough already!

12 Jan 2012 12:48:16

Celtic are very interested in signing young Southend striker Matt Paterson. Paterson has previously been at Southampton as a youngster as well as Hamilton on loan and Neil Lennon is keen to sign the 22 year old on a long term contract. Paterson is wanted by a number of Championship teams.

(8) (11)

Completley unbelievable Paterson is nowhere near championship or celtic standards

---------------------------------------------------------

As a southend fan I can honestly say he is one of the worst players to ever put on a Southend shirt and there has been a few. If this rumour is true the Celtic are planning life in scots division three

--------------------------------------------------------

Paterson is a big Rangers fan, hence the thread! As a Stockport County fan I can say he's the best striker I saw at Edgeley Park last season! He had a magnificent debut and scored a humdinger - how he doesn't get a game for Southend i will never know. As for being the worst player you've ever seen at Southend - Blair Sturrock, I rest my case.

The Scarf

--------------------------------------------------------

HaHa, well done Scarf! Would love to see Paterson back at Edgeley Park - a great young player with a great attitude and a big heart. Southend have mugged him off - Gannon sign him up please!

--------------------------------

Understand he has turned down a L2 club to join a Conference side in time for this Saturday. Maybe it is Stockport, maybe not.

-----------------------------------------

As an Accies fan just want to say that Pato scored a couple of crackers for us and won us at least 5 penalties! We didn't get to see enough of him because of a hamstring injury. Hope he finds a good club, great young lad.

---------------------------------------------

Too all you Celtic, Stockport, Southend and Accies fans, I understand that Matt has turned down a L2 club and agreed to sign for Forest Green Rovers and play for his old Southampton Coach Dave Hockaday. Green Army!

I know this site is full of crap but wanted by rangers and celtic haha

He is woeful, he hasnt been mugged off Tilson didnt want him he only came as part of the Barnard deal.

As a Southend fan I thought Paterson looked a good player, scored a few goals and was then pushed to the side when Sturrock took over. These things happen in football, wherever he goes I wish him all the best.

02 Jan 2012 20:21:06
Dundee United are set to make a bid for Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield. Langfield is keen on leaving the struggling Dons are will sign a one and a half year deal with United.
Another one set to leave Aberdeen is Michale Paton. The young striker is set to sign for First Division side Hamilton on loan until the end of the season.

Absolute rubbish at the Accies, glad to see him leave. No work rate or ability.

Stockport County manager Jim Gannon will disperse of at least 7 or 8 of his inherited squad in January and will be chasing the signatures of the following:

Jamie Vardy, Fleetwood Town, on a permanent.
James Wallace, Everton (on loan Shrewsbury Town), on loan till the end of the season.
Karl Winchester, Irish defender from Oldham Athletic on loan till end of the season.
Matthew Paterson, Southend (on loan Hamilton Accies), on loan to end of season with view to a permanent.
Paul Turnbull, Northampton Town, on loan till end of season with view to a permanent.
Two youngsters from Charlton Athletic a midfielder and a defender.

More to follow!

The Scarf

Why would vardy sign for stockport wen fleetwood are a biggerclub also league clubs are watching him

Vardy is a half decent striker at this level, league clubs would be taking a huge gamble on him. He's wanted at County, being wanted means a lot. Fleetwood a big club - ha {Ed003's Note - league clubs have been scouting him for a while now,however he does want to stay at Fleetwood until the summer }

Vardy wants to improve not go backwards

Vardy you coudnt afford him

Charlton under 18's impressing all and sundry ATM. 7 players in current 18's team will possibly will turn pro, 4 are probable 2 very likely. A loan for any of those would be good for club and player alike.

Vardy would be a coup for Stockport as would Wallace and Paterson, very much doubt any will be seen at EP. Winchester and the Charlton youngsters could be a good call.

Vardy ha ha ha is it april fools day

Don't believe we will get Vardy, but maybe Wallace/Paterson and Turnbull could all return - those three alone would make the County faithful believe again.

Have we enough room in dressing room signed another
player 36 years old .Dont think he will cope with
champioship ,struggled at hamilton

Nick Hegarty will turn down the chance to sign a three year deal with Mansfield to return to Scotland with First Division side Hamilton on a two year contract.

02 Aug 2011 23:44:53
Town are understood to be hoping to sign Slovenian U21 international right-sided defender Alja Struna before this weekend's season opener at Bristol City. The 20-year-old is believed to have been in England to hold talks with the Blues in the last few days.

Struna, who is rated around the £400,000 mark, is currently with FC Koper in his home country, a club with the rather unfortunate nickname of the Canaries, where he plays alongside former Blue Amir Karic. He has another year left on his contract.

The 6ft tall Piran-born player, who can play at right-back, right centre-half and right midfield, made four appearances for his nation at this summer's UEFA European U21 Championships.

In June TWTD revealed that Town's new scout David Hamilton had attended the tournament and it was there that Struna, who turns 21 on Thursday, presumably caught the eye.

Struna, who previously won caps at U19 level, has also appeared in the Champions League with his current side, losing a second round qualifying tie 5-1 to Dinamo Zagreb last season.

Speaking earlier today, chief executive Simon Clegg revealed the Blues were looking to add another player to the squad this week in addition to the season-long loan of Blackburn's Keith Andrews.

Beliavable as this cut straight off the Independant Ipswich website ...
