I am hearing that the Stockport Manager is hoping to bring in one of his former signings to Edgeley Park. Paul Turnbull has been rumoured quite often in the past, but sources tell me he wants to sign Tom Pope, his first signing when the boss of Port Vale. I also hear that Oldham, Macclesfield and Rochdale also interested in Tom.
Paul would be a fantastic signing for county as he is a stockport lad through and through
Don't think Oldham will want him.

The full-back, who has been compared to a right-footed Gareth Bale, interested many top sides in January, including Arsenal, chelsea and Everton, before his season was cut short by an injury. Hewitt is believed to be confirmed as Ipswich's first summer transfer at some time today or tomorrow.
If he interested arsenal everton spurs he would not be at ip5w1ch he was interesting alfreton braintree and hyde get ur facts right

No players coming to gillingham at the moment as we have no manager
Cowling has already stated it will be bosmans and loans only; money is going into new training ground and youth set up

I'm a Macc fan and ST holder, Hewitt has been watched by at least 10 clubs incl.2 in the Prem,Reading one of them. Ipswich may have had a bid accepted but that doesn't mean Elliott will join you, he'll want to see what else is out there and I can see better options at the moment than Ipswich.

Arnoud Mendy will join Walsall from Macclesfield this summer. Akinfenwa is a also a possibility from Norhampton with the striker wanting to play at a higher level
Hope we get akinfenwa
Akinfenwa has one year left on his contract so would command a fee. They turned down an offer of £150,000 from Crawley in January. Therefore, no chance of this happening.
Mendy has been linked before and would make a decent squad player if he is cheap. Might make the bench but nothing better than what we already had last season

Derby will only be signig three players this summer, dependent on outgoings, and they will be:
Paul Dixon/Jack Robinson
Michael Jacobs/Marc Pugh
and a striker
Stockley and Carmichael haven't had a kick for Bournemouth this year so why would Derby want two untried youth teamers.

Norwich City are looking to invest in youth and are planing to swoop for macclesfield town defender and Wales U21 international Elliot Hewit, 17, although he is also being targeted by bigger clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea Norwich are confident they can land the young player
Why would he join a club with no youth set up? Come back and try again when yolu have a proper football club.
wally
Wally,
Why make such an aggressive and comment about our lack of youth set up when you clearly know absolutely nothing about Norwich City Football Club, nor have you done any research on the subject that is obvious and is referred to as lazy journalism
We already have a state of the art training ground that includes a full academy and is a member
of the FA Premier League Academy that cost in excess of £6/7M when it was completed approx 8 years ago.
Norwich have also recently announced they plan to invest the required amount of Investment and extra facilities to apply and qualify for the newly soon to be established FA Class 1 academy status, which enables these clubs to sign players from non qualifying academy's at agreed relatively low compensation rates that are being fixed by the FA. The policy is meant to raise the standard of coaching at the elite academy's and the ability for these clubs to bring in the best talent.

Sky Sports understands Paul Ince is interested in filling the vacant managerial role at Leeds United and is being considered for the post by chairman Ken Bates.
The Whites are on the hunt for a new manager following the sacking of Simon Grayson on Wednesday.
Grayson was shown the door after seeing Leeds lose five of their last seven Championship games, with a run of three successive defeats over the Christmas period dumping them out of the top six.
Ince is reportedly a frontrunner to succeed him in the job and Bates is thought to be weighing up the ex-England international.
The 44-year-old has not managed since leaving Notts County in April last year after an ill-fated five months at the helm, with the Magpies losing a club record nine successive games under his tenure.
Promotion
Ince has also spent two stints in charge at MK Dons, guiding the club to the League Two trophy and promotion in 2008, as well as the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The former Manchester United midfielder started his managerial career in charge of Macclesfield Town, while his two spells at the Dons came either side of a short and hapless stint at Blackburn, where he won just three games in 17.
He is the latest name to emerge in connection with the Leeds post, with Neil Warnock, Roberto Di Matteo and Steve Bruce also reportedly in the frame.
Other names to have been linked to the role are Leeds United legends Gordan Strachan, Lucas Radebe and Gary McAllister.
Youth team manager Neil Redfearn has been placed in temporary charge until a new manager is
Out of all these numptys only strachan would do.
NO thanks - apply GUV but no way mate
