Swindon looking to sell wes our keeper to generate money, also change on the coaching staff, Fraser Digby the goalkeeping coach is no longer the coach, power has given the job to Steve hale, a lad that has never done anything in football or played at a descent level cheap cheap option, what ambition is that, no new signings As we have no money, wes will kick off about this, certain relegation for us this season what a joke, power is trying to keep this under wraps and don't want the press and fans to know as they will respond with negativity .

Swindon Yid

We haven't got any money? Yes, we do and we have plenty to spend and Wes will not leave Swindon as that would be suicidal to our success. Power has worked hard for Swindon to find us new a new sponsorship deal and he has and worth more than the samsung deal for miles. £250,000>£79,000 fraser digby as I have heard is not working for money but is working voluntarrly

Swindon to fight against Leeds over the capture of Andre Blackman, who has spent time at clubs like Dover.

STFConyourpitch

Wake up and smell the coffee Fraser was getting paid, we haven't got a pot to .... in fact, power is looking to off load wes to raise money just look at how many players have gone of which is good balancing the books? How many have come in big fat 0 Steve hale is taking over from Fraser of which wes will not be happy about, a deal was nearly done with Bournemouth last season but fell through, power will sell the club in a years time fact we will struggle this season as he is cutting to many corners with regards wages of which was needed but it will be to much with no quality coming in as we can't afford to pay the wages. no Fraser do you??!

Swindon Yid

28 Jun 2014 10:53:38
Swindon Yid why do you say Wes will be fuming? Do you actually know him?

I would imagine the club can't make any signings until the court case is sorted

Maz

Yes, and he will be unhappy with Steve hale coaching him as Fraser has been pushed upstairs to hospitality.

Swindon Yid

28 Jun 2014 17:37:44
When did he tell you this then?

Who says Fraser has been pushed upstairs?

Maz

28 Jun 2014 18:04:44
I am inclined to disagree with you, everyone knows Fraser has a lot on his plate and has just taken on a restaurant. I'm sure he wants to focus on that and help the club out commercially.

I'm also sure the powers that be (pardon the pun) will have consulted The manager and goalkeepers about who a suitable replacement would be.

York City manager Nigel Worthington is considering a move for Bristol Rovers right-back Michael Smith. Smith is reported to be wanting out due to relegation, and a mix of his outstanding form this season (gained a place in the league 2 team of the year) and his Northern Irish roots Worthington sees him as a worthy replacement for the departed Lanre Oyebanjo.

Jakeycfc

Smith is interesting Brentford, Peterborough and Barnsley so I can't see that happening

Southend boss Phil Brown has once again confirmed his interest in Bristol Rovers midfielder John-Joe O'Toole. Brown was after him at the start of the 13/14 campaign, but O'Toole opted for a move to the Memorial Stadium. But following the clubs relegation this term, John-Joe is rumoured to want away from the now Conference Premier side.

Brentford have rekindled their interest in Bristol Rovers defender Tom Parkes. Bees boss Mark Warburton is hopeful of adding as many as three new faces to his newly-promoted squad in the next few weeks. On Warburton's summer shopping list is a left-sided defender, box-to-box midfielder and a striker as he tries to bolster his ranks for the Championship campaign. Brentford looked at Parkes last summer but failed to follow up their interest with a concrete offer. However, the 22-year-old, who came through the same Leicester City academy side as Warburton's son, Jack, has continued to catch the eye for the Gas this term. Parkes still has two years to run on his deal at the Memorial Ground, where he has racked up more than 100 appearances

Hearing a lot that Brentford are looking at Tom Parkes of Bristol Rovers. Apparently Warbs is interested as he is very versatile. However only being 22 and Bristol rovers captain, he may be difficult to get. Also andy Keogh and Chris Basham being linked who are both out of contract

BFC997

20 May 2014 09:36:58
How many times does it have to be said that Brentford are not interested in a Bristol Rovers centre back. They have just been relegated from League 2! Last season we were linked to Parkes but this summer, not a chance.

The most RIDICULOUS rumour I have ever seen! Carey is City through and through, he'd never join Rovers

I have heard Scunthorpe (the team I support)have 3 main transfers targets in the summer will hoskins, o, toole and andy butler is there any truth to theses rumours. Is there any more targets that I don't know. And who do you think will leave scunny in the summer.

James Constable to Rotherham or Swindon, it really is silly season. Not good enough for League 2 let alone League 1.

With Rovers letting 15 players go, and of the retained players, at least 8 players will be moving on to clubs in league 1 or 2 there is going to be a major rebuild at the mem - Luton and Wrexham had 29 and 27 players for the season 2013/14 so Rovers to have any chance to return to league two next year - in time for the new ground - I make that they will need to sign at least 24 players? and I can't see that happening -I hope it does. let's hope the players they sign are better then the last 3 years as the football at the MEM has been the worst I have seen in over 40years of supporting the club, Come on Rovers let's get back to 10 years ago were we were heading up the league and not down

07 May 2014 09:46:44
Watford have taken an interest once again in Reece Wabara who recently left Manchester City.

07 May 2014 17:27:23

Not a bad choice. This team would do well in league one.

Two top players at Bristol Rovers, well done to those players. A Club of this stature should be performing to a much much better standard.

Bristol Rovers still not sure on managers job Clarke in charge till the end of season wait and see could be some BIG news soon. Could be a big move of players out of the MEM -out will go Clarkson, Gillespie, Harrold, Peterson, Woodwards, and some fridge players to. Its got to change as over the last two seasons its been proved we are just not good enough.

Talk on the terraces at the Mem yesterday that Bristol Rovers are close to bringing in a new striker.

There is an outside chance that Danny Haynes will come in on loan with a view to a permanent deal next season if all goes well.

Freddie Sears from Colchester is a real possibility and both BRFC and CUFC have talked about contribution of wages.

Favourite call remains for a Championship reserve striker though. expect a deal done late in the window.

Burton Albion to bring in two strikers from last season's squad to help with their goalscoring problems. Calvin Zola now Aberdeen and Matt Paterson currently at Aldershot are on Gary Rowett's radar, he desperately needs the extra firepower as although close to the top of the table they are just not scoring enough goals.

Alan Gow's move to Bristol Rovers is still on the cards.

Dartford hope to get Harry Crawford from Barnet back yet again on loan until the end of the season.

Brett Williams of Aldershot, the current Conference Premier highest goal scorer, is in talks with Yeovil Town.

Bristol Rovers want Colchester striker Freddie Sears, Rovers are willing to pay a substantial transfer fee.

Alan Gow of Exeter could be on the move to either Gillingham or Rochdale.

LowerLeagueLen

20 Jan 2014 16:11:08
Brett Williams are you serious couldn't score in L2 and L1 and going to the championship the guy is not capable. He was at Reading and he wasnt good enough for them and Yeovil must be mad if true. He is a Conference player and that is his limit.

20 Jan 2014 19:21:10
Gills linked with Alan Gow again, that must be the last 4 transfer windows that has happened! So I can't see that holding any truth

20 Jan 2014 20:44:06
Gow is on contract until the end of the season so its unlikely that gillingham would pay a fee

20 jan 2014 22:17:55
alan gow in talks with bristol rovers the club looking at a winger too

Yeovil see Williams as a perfect replacement for Madden, indeed he's stronger and better in the air than Madden. As for not being good enough for L1/2 - he's made a big difference at Aldershot and in the League, deserves a shot.

LowerLeagueLen

21 Jan 2014 19:20:27
Yeovil are going to have to gamble on forwards, proven goals scorers at the right level are way out of yeovils price range

Ha ha now Gow is going to Bristol Rovers, every window someone from Exeter City is going to Rovers and every window it doesn't happen. Check your sources because they are terrible
