Paterson to Coventry. You are having a laugh!!

22 May 2013 21:33:54
Is this just the west mids, I always thought the midlands involved all of it not just the brummies!

No way Norwich will buy two central defs. We have three quality CB's in Turner, Bassong & Bennett. All three are better than Ridgewell & C. Davies.

Grigg's not going anywhere

Ridgewells a left back.
And west brom will bring in more players than that!

Weimann has announced he's in contract talks with Villa & wants to stay if possible.

Weather we go up or stay down. Deeney is not leaving. Just signed a new contract and is an important building block.

Watford do not need the money like they used to.

Norwich in the market for French under 212 international Mangala of Porto - seen as the perfect player to combine with Bennett in the future - Centre back and can cover left back position too

Troy deeney will not leave watford

How can someone know so much about so many different clubs. Pure fantasy imo

O'Hara was sold by Harry Redknapp while he was at Spurs, why would he take him back? QPR's squad is bursting with championship quality players.

As a norwich fan I would take ridgewell all day. Competition at left back ANC can cover at centre half

Deeney wouldn't go there mate, he's a birmingham fan and is happy at watford, just signed new contract

Wolves are in talks with Swindon to sign James collins, Swindons top scorer

If Deeney goes I'd expect Watford to get someone in on loan! lol

Ridgewell is a left back and is much better quality than anything at Norwich.

Lol at Paterson going to Coventry that will never happen. Grigg to derby could happen but he's still needs to prove himself at league one level for another season. Also brandy since he's only played for half a season

No folks, looks as though pattersons going to Huuds How good is he?

King would not be welcome back at Wigan bearing in mind that Whelan sacked him and effectively told him to never darken his doorstep again

Deeney tweeted not to long ago saying he wouldn't play for villa

massive birmingham fan and just signed a new contract with watford

Ridgewell is awful. No point as we have just signed Garrido after his loan spell and he is miles better than Ridgewell

Coventry City's transfer embargo will be lifted by the start of june after the PH4 takeover goes through. funds for new players will not be made availble straight away as funds will be needed to settle some debts left by previous owners SISU

Thats good news for Cov fans, horrible what is /was going on there, good luck in finding a new site for YOUR OWN stadium. Hope you can now move forward, just keep the faith and keep supporting, new investors need income, as we at SWFC know.

Zlin Owl

Sadly I don't see this done by June PUSB

Whats PH4

Richard wood looks to be on his way out off Coventry a few teams interested in him are Swindon, Yeovil and Brentford but Yeovil are favourites due to they're recent promotion, maghoma is in Presley's sights but again Yeovil and Bournemouthare both interested but due to location he may make the moves to the sky blues vardy is a striker that the sky blues are interested in also Collins is another striker they are intrested in a possible frank moussa plus cash bid for him could be in place they will be looking at higher end loans from the premier league but is all down to weather Hoffman buys the club

Woody was released last week so there is no "looks to be on his way out" about it.

21 May 2013 09:11:16
Jacques Maghoma from Burton Albion has emerged as Coventry City's first target after the embargo is lifted. Pressleys been impressed with his 2012-13 season and wants to take a goal scoring midfielder across the Midlands and to the former Premier League club.

Coventry City are not under a transfer embargo. The holding company is in administration and they are two separate entities.

No were are under a transfer embargo

No we are not. You cannot buy sell or release players during an embargo. We have done just that.

No cause that's saying when we let Bigi go last year we weren't under a embargo when we were when we let spammy clingan go we were under a embargo and we are now under a embargo

If we wanted do to sign a free contract we could do. That is not an embargo. We have transfer restrictions that's all.

Swindon town to do a swap deal with Coventry, James collins plus cash for Midfielder Moussa

Don't think so buddy, if any forward will go it would be Williams, Collins worked under kmac when he was a young lad at villa and loves the bloke.

Collins is worth a lot more that Moussa so any cash would come Swindons way not the other way round.

Swindon will struggle to stay up next season a very tough league next year with the players leaving and the wages bill slashed they will do well to stay in the league :

Bit like Yeovil then with a 1.4 million budget, swindon's is 2.4 million dream on muppet, Yeovil went up on a low budget so that fact of a low budget speaks volumes the fact is most clubs in league 1 will be around the same as swindon's.

I don't think they'll go down I think they'll struggle to make the play offs though.

Moussa is the best midfielder in league 1 by far. However I would love to sign collins he is a cov fan. Rather let Mcdonald go with cash to get him. Sisu out. Pusb.

Sorry, moussa the best midfielder in league 1? He is ok but I watched many better midfielders play against us last season. This is from a Coventry season ticket holder.

What games were you watching. Moussa is quality.

Despite winning promotion to League one Bradford City striker Nakhi Wells wants to leave. Championship clubs Birmingham City, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Huddersfield Leeds, Reading and Yeovil Are all interested in signing him plus league one sides Brentford, Coventry City, Oldham, Preston, Sheffield United and Wolves all want him.

You forgot afc bournemouth

We won't get Wells he'll go to a better club

Kurtyoafc

Nahki's going nowhere. This time next year he'll be looking forward to playing in the championship as Bradford city will get back to back promotion.

Yes please form a htfc fan

Even though after the game he said that he was going to stay, CTID!!

He is off to Bolton £600,000

Bradford fans are overly confident just cause they have nahki wells and a big lump up front. Think they will struggle especially if gary jones is still their first choice CM, he helped dale get relegated from league 1

21 May 2013 08:18:23
Too expensive a risk IMO unproven at championship level, we are better off trying to sign Vaughan and Jackson from Norwich. HTFC

Novak signed for Birmingham City

I don't fancy Wells at Bolton the money is better spent elsewhere. Wells not ready for the Championship.

Still wants to leave? Pretty sure in the interview after game he said he's staying.

Where would yeovil suddenly find £600k to sign him?

From the £4 million we just got for promotion

Wells could defo play in the Championship as they would improve his game even more than bradford can, due to the academys championship teams have and facilities.

Alan lee is just a fat mess not a chance we want him at oldham!

20 May 2013 16:35:52
Burton boss Rowett wanting to 'build from the back' this summer and thus target Bell from Coventry and Magnus Okuonghae from Colchester and Tom Naylor from Derby.

Talks underway to bring Ian Sharps back to club permanently and winger Wes York (Nuneaton) offered trial at the Pirelli.

Your welcome to bell he is utter pants couldn't beat an egg.

I'd be extremely surprised if Okuonghae valed at £500'000 went to Burton Albion.

Bell is a Midfielder/Winger

Would like to see Burton pull out all the stops to retain Zola. Him and Kee were at times unstoppable last season, both fully fit and they are a terrific pairing!

Agree Burton should be doing everything to keep Zola and Paterson at the club to partner Kee for next season - some of the best goals scored ever at the Pirelli by these three.

Bell, would be excellent signing for left midfield/left back role. Brings Sharps back, we need a new captain now McGrath has departed.

Zola definitely departing, heard former Stoke player Mamady Sidibe wants to stay in Staffs, could be another powerhouse player for the Brewers if we get him?

20 May 2013 16:23:04
Leicester manager Pearson given time and money (!) to secure automatic promotion next season.

Bids going in for Nakhi Wells of Bradford and talks with free agent Alex Baptiste.

Beckford going back to Leeds and Vardy to Coventry.

Pearson counting on goals from Nugent and Wood with Schlupp and Waghorn (contract extension) back-up, Frutos off to second tier side in Spain. Main new blood in wide areas and central midfield. Guerdioura (Forest) targetted for attacking mid berth or Chalubah if Watford fail to go up.

Chalobah isn't an attacking midfielder, he's a defensive/deep lying playmaker.

Chalobah will not be playing in The Championship next season

Chalabah would be an interesting choice to complement King but the Chelsea lad is expected to be in the top flight next season with WBA rumoured to be on the prowl if Watford don't go up. Leicester's priority must be to keep hold of Andy King.

Quite right, I'm sure he won't. Nor will he be playing for Watford.

Pearson being retained? Not what I have heard. King destined for Sunderland and Wells to either Hull or Forest.

I think you wil find Chalabah will sign a long term contract with Watford for a transfer fee of around 4 million pounds, as long as they beat Palace.

You can see he's really happy at Watford, perfect place to play for a few years before making a bigger move.

King is useless, should have taken the Watford winger out and taken a card rather than run alongside him, still having nightmares about what happened.

If Chalobah signs for Watford for £4M I will make my self known and give you £1M.

Chalobah is staying at Chelsea next season and will be in and around the 1st.

Wont be going on loan or signing for anyone else. FACT.

Chalobah, fine a prospect as he is, is not YET good enough to be on the Chelsea bench. Next season he will go on loan to low/mid level Prem team. If Watfor dbeat Palace it is VERY likely he will go there, because he know Zola will give him the individual attention required to continue improving his game
His main challenge right now is to maintain his skill levels and creativity without losing possession. No midfielder in the Prem let alone Champs League can afford to lose the ball even half as much as he does currently ( and that's in the Championship, not even Prem)

21 May 2013 15:45:45
Fact? Pure conjecture on your part, look up the definition of "fact" that you choose to utilise so poorly.

20 May 2013 15:48:36
Swindon ins:

Nathan Byrne-Tottenham (free)
Richard wood ex Coventry (free)
Jernade meade ex Arsenal (free)
Scott Wagstaff ex Charlton (free)
John Bostock out of contract at spurs (free)
Adam Rooney ex Birmingham (free)
Lee novak Huddersfield (free)

20 May 2013 16:35:24
lee novak you have no chance going preston or barnsley

There'd have to be some significant outs to make those credible ins. The club have announced 5 redundancies needed from the non playing staff today.

I agree with the earlier post I am a Swindon fan we have no chance getting some of the players mentioned above so stop making up things in your own head. Why on earth would they come here some of them would command big salaries of which we are cutting back.

Yes the outs are going to be Flint, Caddis, benson, Cox & Possibly Archibald-henville.

Swindon have activated the 1 year extension on flints contract last week so is he going to be sold? Also is that allowed?

Yes they can do that, they should of done that with ferry, then we would of got some money for him at least claw back what we paid for him, I believe they will only let flint go if they get over £500,000, to be honest his distribution is shocking and he panics on the ball, the main strength is his heading power that's it, his discipline is bad also. If we could get over £500,000 I would let him go as long as we use the money on players and not in the boards pockets.

Swindon are after Matt Tubbs (Boremuff), Ryan Mason (Spurs), Andy Johnson (QPR), Shwan Jalal (Boremuff).

Foderingham to leave in the next few weeks for a fee of well over £1 million to QPR, Mccormack to leave on a free after asking for a shed load of money, Flint to leave for £250k+ with several clubs interested.

Alan McCormack will be signing for Millwall shortly!.

Good let him go!

19 May 2013 17:38:28
Seen as Yeovil Town are a Championship team now they are looking to bring in:
Fabian Brandy (Walsall) to partner Paddy Madden up front
Richard Wood (Coventry)
Scott Arfield (Recently released by Huddersfield Town)
Stephen McPhail (Cardiff City)

YEOVIL team to stay up for free

1 Alexander Rangers
2 Saunders Motherwell
3 Broadfoot Blackpool
4 Zaluikas Hearts
5 Webster Hearts
6 Barr Hearts
7 Davidson St Johnstone
8 McCourt Celtic
9 Boyd Kilmarnock
10 McFadden Motherwell
11 Driver Hearts
12 Samson St Mirren
13 Weatherspoon Hibs
14 Stevenston Hibs
15 Higdon Motherwell
16 Humphrie Motherwell
17 viguirs Ross County
18 Rogne Celtic

Unless Yeovil invest big time, they'll be straight back down on today's showing.

The thing is yeovil won't sign all of them 18 players you said^^

Yeovil are not playing in the spl?

If you get mcPhail, you have got a really good player and you will have a much better chance to stay up, but he could easily go to a bigger club

What do you mean on today's showing? They played a very good team and showed the resilience needed to win the game

Poor Yeovil won't know what hit them. They are going to have to set their sights a lot higher than this list if they are to survive with their dignity intact this coming season.

Poor Yeovil eh that's what every club have been saying for 10 years and we keep moving forwards. Funny how we are now above Portsmouth, Wolves, Sheff Utd, Coventry, Bristol City etc etc. poor Yeovil not got a chance yawn

Ha, I guess the top comment was from a city or rovers fan? How about you just be happy for us rather than be bitter

This is a tight league, and from what I saw of the play off final your in for a big wake up call, you will struggle.

20 May 2013 21:33:16
If Arfield goes to Yeovil he, l do good for them from a HTFC fan. he couldn't get in our teem. by the way congrats on your promotion see you next season

Yep base your opinion of the next season on one game. The fact is Yeovil have been fantastic all season and deserve to go up

Not saying you don't deserve to go up, and all credit to you for doing so. What I am saying is that I think you will struggle, and will need some quality signings from the championship or above to survive this season. Without them your in for a shock and likely to go back down. To be fair, the same goes for the rest of your promotion enterage.

There is a big gap between the championship and div1 now and its getting bigger.

If the gap is so big you'd expect far more relegated Championship sides to be able to go straight back up!

19 May 2013 10:37:16
Dunne and freeman of Stevenage are joining Bristol city for combined £1million and John fleck of Coventry for 350k as the cash strapped club need the money and him off the wage bill plus he has a family member on bcfc coaching staff
Outgoings
Baldock to charlton £1m
Adomah 8 clubs have made inquiries city hope this will start a bidding war as they hope to revive 1.5m +
Sod has placed a 3million price tag on Greg Cunningham as he still has 3 years left to run and as he under 24 and signed a 4 year deal last season he wages are unaffected by the FFP
Other targets I've herd mentioned Tom Eastman Colchester a CB
That's it for the moment as SOD is on a holiday/scouting trip expect a very busy 1st week back as he wants the majority of his squad together for the trip to Botswana which is at the start of preseason expect one or two African players coming back with us for a trial/perm deal, but for the next month city fans it will be quite the only announcement Maybe flinders from Hartlepool we have offered him a 3 year deal the balls be left in his court

So not true, false rumor, freeman is staying and Dunne is moving spl or championship!

Flinders got 1 year left at hartlepool. If you want him I would take 250k

Coventry fringe players have already gone. Fleck is here for the long haul. He will cost around a million. 350k is well off the mark.

The freeman rumours keep coming the bloke is not leaving

Seriously, where are we going to find £1M? Even the Adomah sale (which will happen) won't raise enough for us to spend that sort of money on two players, regardless of how good they are.

SecretSam

If freeman goes it will be to league 2 he has done nothing this year.

18 May 2013 12:45:56
Bristol City are interested in Coventry's John Fleck, a Left sided midfielder who can also oppirate in the center. At 21 he suits the youth policy. -CH

Hands off

Will cost you bucks the boy is good. Under contract and not for sale though. Nice try.

Apart from the fact Cov are in admin, why would Fleck leave for another League 1 club?

Yes but you see one cov not the players side is in admin meaning the players are not for sale as the money is needed in ltd players are in holdings this means that sisu are trying to spam the football league

He ain't leaving. Full stop.

18 May 2013 02:17:17
Aberdeen interested in Coventry player Richard Woods for free a centre half 27

18 May 2013 00:48:23
Few Walsall rumours
All currently free agents
Francis McCaffrey (Hull) midfielder
Jack Deaman (Birmingham) defender
Shane Fagan (Coventry) goalkeeper
Eric Odhiambo (Denizlispor, former Inverness) striker

Out
Febian Brandy is wanted by Peterborough and Barnsley

Wanted by Peterborough haha no thanks

Febian brandy is class and I would want him to stay with walsall

Flicker would not signed a contract if he was not getting the budget he wanted, that's a fact, he will probably get the money from the sales of any players and around 3m to spend. the board know they have the right man in charge and will back him.

17 May 2013 21:25:45
Former Coventry left back and free agent Chris Hussey tops the Oxford Utd wanted list.

Good luck. Great going forward but defensively inept!

17 May 2013 16:44:23
Derby defenders Naylor and O'Connor both joining League one clubs Coventry and Rotheram respectively. Derby step up hunt for experienced CB/FB with bids for Ryan Shotton and Kirk Broadfoot.

Kirk Broadfoot is available on a free as he's out of contract at Pool.

Please do some checking when your making stuff up

RU sure he is o-o-c this summer? thought he had time left on contract and was one Ince wanted to keep at club? {Ed003's Note - he is out of contract and he has been offered a new contract}

17 May 2013 13:44:11
Millwall are wanting to make former Coventry, Southampton and Celtic manager Gordon Strachan as their new boss. The 56 year old has just taken on the role as being the Scotland national team boss but is believed to be wanting one last chance as a club manager. Strachan is keen on joining both jobs together.

Ha ha ha. Funniest rumour I have ever seen. Strachan was qouted as saying all the jobs he has had up until now was to prepare him for the scotland job. The job he wanted most

Utter tosh. One of the most ridiculous ones I've ever heard on here!

Hed be great for us. bring it on live the dream

To be fair I do think Strachan has a bit of a soft spot for Millwall. When Mark Mcgee (now his assistant as Scotland) was Millwall manager, I remember Strachan saying that he knew a lot about Millwall because of his friend (Mark Mcgee) was the manager. Plus Millwall do have Scottish connections (the people who started Millwall FC came from Scotland) and we have also had a number of Scottish managers in the past. Saying this I think Strachan and Mcgee will probably stay as the Scottish managers

16 May 2013 20:00:00
Chesterfield to sign Conor Townsend from hull on Friday!
Mark Randell will leave and sign for Coventry!

17 May 2013 06:44:33
True re Randall. Chesterfield should be looking for better than Townsend he is a poor player

If randall got his head sorted out he would be top has all the abillity in the world

Coventry for Randall he will be lucky to get a deal at Tamworth

16 May 2013 17:56:13
Cody McDonald is set to leave Coventry and snub Gillingham by signing for Rotherham instead

Cody has just bought a new house in Kent and put his kids in to a local school. A move to Yorkshire will never happen!

Yep Cody will be in Kent shortly, and will join Gillingham.

£250,000 down the pan, worse number 9 at cov in years, never lived up to replacing Marlon King. good redance.

19 May 2013 18:13:38
If we (Gill's ) sign Cody he will start bangimg the goals in for us, and Coventry will have to ask serious questions about their style of play, for him to have scored so few goals for them.

He stood out at gillingham because. You are a poor side in league two. He cannot and will not cut it in league one. We had Leon clarke who scored 21 goals. Come back when Cody has done the same in the same league.

16 May 2013 15:26:00
Cody McDonald set to complete his move to Leyton Orient after a fee of £50,000 was agreed with Coventry City

We NEVER pay fees. Not happening.

Ditto the above. Last time we paid a fee was for Wayne Gray and that ended well didn't it?

£50,000!

The last time Barry Hearn parted with some money, he had to have open wallet surgery!

50,000 haha NO!

16 May 2013 13:58:40
Joint bid from Elliott, hoffman and haskell has been made on the 26th anniversary of that great day back in 87. If it goes through coventry fans will finally and deservedly have some genuine positive news and can look forward to the new season with great optimism and possibly some new signings to boot. Pusb. This is not a rumour.

15 May 2013 18:06:32
Reliable source Keiren Westwood set to join former club coventry on a season long loan next season

I'm a Cov City fan a major optimist but even I know this is total nonsense!

This would be nice but now he is prem we couldn't afford his wages.

Amazing, if this is true!

No at least premiership quality he hopefully will join one of the new promated sides doubt he will join us

This sale along with the sale of gunnarson and king cost us our relegation. Westwood is a class act.

15 May 2013 15:50:07
Ex Coventry city and Sheffield Wednesday centre half Richard Wood to join chesterfield on a free to partner Liam Cooper meanwhile Richard Brindley will agree a new two year deal with the club but the future of Mark Randall still remains unclear. Captain Sam Hird who was transferred listed following the season closing will join Scunthorpe utd for free. Spireites have a number targets touted heres a few that I've been told from an extremely good source:

Conor McCormack Shamrock Rovers
Romuald Boco Accrington Stanley
Conor Townsend Hull City
Adam Chapman Belper Town
Matt Mitchell King Afc Wimbledon
Richard Wood Coventry City
Jason Walker York City
Deane Smalley Oxford United
Amine Linganzi Accrington Stanley
Karl Sheppard Reading
Paul Black Oldham
Craig Lindfield Accrington Stanley

15 May 2013 17:07:53
Paul black does not play for oldham

Richard Wood was on 8K at city and could easily get into a lower championship team

Take sheppard

Paul black is on trial at oldham, was last at tranmere

Mat Mitchell-King got released by us for a reason, you don't want to sign him

Conor McCormack would be a great signing

Wood - mentioned every window because we once offered to take him on loan after an injury
Boco - wants too much money
Smalley - won't be coming back (griffiths syndrom)
Linfield - we have our quota of forwards for this season

Black isn;t an Oldham player Tranmere released him he played one game on trial against UTD and bye bye now.

We have Grounds anyway so he wouldn;t get a game.

8k a week at Coventry? Dream on mate!

As if Richard Wood has ever earned 8k in his career, never mind at Coventry.

Black doesn't play for latics anymore. Good luck if you think you might sign him, useless full back

15 May 2013 15:02:58
Hearts are looking to sign ex Coventry City central defender Richard Wood on a free transfer.

Hearts are in a worse state financially than Cov? Why leave the frying pan for the fire! Although Wood is a FREE!

14 May 2013 22:27:29
Huddersfield Town are prepared to make a move for Derbys Adam Legzdins if Alex Smithies leaves the club.

Mark Robins has also prepared for the possible departure of Jack Hunt by looking at Coventrys Cyrus Christie! Watfords Lee Hodson and Tottenhams Adam Smith.

Alan McCormack of Swindon has also been linked with the Terriers aswell as Barnsley and Doncaster.

Other Huddersfield Targets include James Vaughan (who also has major interest from Derby), Lee Tomlin, Simeon Jackson (wages being an issue) and Keith Fahey

Christie is a 6foot2inch centre back not a full back, Fahey over 30 and doesn't fit the clubs transfer policy, also injured and history of injuries. Maybe Christie is on our radar if we move Lynch out, good prospect and clearly known by Mark Robins.

Fahey over 30 with a history of injuries.! That's our man! Just what we've been looking for.! Fits our professional profile like a glove.!

U clearly don't know christie as he is right back

16 May 2013 12:56:55
Christie is a right back. Think Fahey would be good If he wasnt injured all the time. The peterborough chairman said on twitter that he would want 5 million for Tomlin

Indeed a right back who also plays on the right wing. Our best player by far and will be pricey as he is under contract. Following the trimming of the squad can't see him leaving for anything other than 6 figures and to a prem team.

You mean 7 figures, right?

Oops yes 7 figures at least 2million.

Hope that's true about mccormack liability

14 May 2013 18:21:41
Coventrys No 2 Keeper Chris Dunn wants to come to Dagenham.

14 May 2013 12:38:24
Once the current transfer embargo is lifted, Coventry City Manager Steven Pressley will make moves for Aaron Martin (Southampton, loan), Scott Wootton (Man Utd, loan), Stewart Murdoch (Falkirk, nominal), Chuks Aneke (Arsenal, loan), Thomas Eisfeld (Arsenal, loan), Jaques Maghoma (Burton Albion, free), Scott Wagstaff (Charlton, free) and Lyle Taylor (Falkirk, nominal). Not all of these will sign of course, but they are serious targets.

Leaving will be Nathan Cameron (Northampton, free), Cody McDonald (Gillingham, 200k), Gary McSheffrey (free transfer), Chris Dunn (Dagenham & Redbridge, free), Stephen Elliott (MK Dons, free), Callum Ball (Derby, loan return), Danny Philliskirk (free transfer), Shaun Jeffers (free transfer), Richard Wood (Barnsley, free), Jordan Stewart (free transfer), James Bailey (Derby, loan return).

14 May 2013 16:52:15
They say cortese may be on his way. Great I could never believe how Adkins was treated. Let's have a manager who can speak English and here for the long term, Take away one win this season we would be right in it.

Aaron Martin is apparently already set to join Swindon Town for next season.

Would love to see Aneke here but can't see him coming, Lyle Is a possibility link up with his former manager. Hope so anyway

Typical coventry mass exodus and no cash coming in. Jeffers will be premiership he has bags of potential. As Daniel sturridge did before he was released. I am not happy with the appointment of pressley. And fear for the future of my club. Please haskell come in now and save my beloved skyblues.

Get real Mr Cortese has save Saints and set them on the right path to the top.
Saint Ter

Ridiculous comment about Cortese above. No one was sadder than me when Adkins went but the team have improved under Pochettino and you have to credit Cortese with that. A win aghast Stoke and we'll finish comfortably mid table. What has his language skills got to do with anything? Results are what count. People like yourself embarrass our club with comments like that!

Do not want Wood at BARNSLEY, NOT GOOD ENOUGH

If true chuke aneke is quality in the mould of chalobah at watford

Don't forget cortese was spending the owners money as for the style of football the fitness of the players has been good but playing high line football if the present manager stays we will get caught on the break, teams will soon learn to play against it. Look at the way Chelsea played against benfica

If cortese and the manager are thinking of leaving you have to think how loyal are they to the club. You could spend millions and still not do well. Look at the conference league 12 teams who have been in the football league. Every Few years a group of player make it good. The most important thing is to hold onto Luke shaw clyne ect.

Let's not have another soap opera at st Mary's make your mind up cortese and stay or go the club will live on. If they increase the season tickets like last year they will lose me after years of support, could be eastleighs gain.

Wootton was on loan at Forest this season and had an excellent season (by all accounts) in the championship so why on earth would he spend next season in League 1. You are wildly off the mark on so many of these. or perhaps you are confusing the real world with championship manager?
