West Ham United have rejected a bid from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur for midfielder Scott Parker. The England international was the Hammers' standout performer last season, with a collection of commanding displays helping the club steer clear of relegation. His efforts were rewarded with a place in England's pre-World Cup squad, although he failed to make the cut for the South African showpiece.
