Lot of french newspapers tonight reporting that Leeds have agreed a deal with St Etienne to resign Max Gradel for a fee believed to be in the region of £4M, with Max set to fly to Leeds tomorrow morning to commence contract talks.

Please tell me which papers have said this? ive been reading french papers all day to see what signings PSG are gnna make and havent come across anything about gradel.....hes doin well at st etienne who themselves are doing well in the league and europe he is a key player in their squad and u think he would leave for mid table failure at leeds?

What a load of rubbish. Leeds have been taken over but dont have that kind of funds available. Also they wont let him go. Hes been playing as a striker and doing well.

Im sure he's keen, but Leeds wouldnt stump up 4mil for a player we sold for less than 3, even under the new regime.

Leeds DO have those funds available, believe me. Whilst they are not in Man City's league, they aren't far away. They're not spending big on players at the moment for 2 reasons.
Warnock is out of contract in the summer & they don't want a load of his signings left in the summer when he's replaced.
The quality of players aren't available in January. They will only buy if its better than what they already have.
