Former portsmouth player Svetoslav Todorov has urged Pompey to come and get him. The player which helped fire Pompey up to the premier league in 2003 with a sensational 26 goals in one campaign has said that he is willing to rip his current contract with ukraine outfit Hoverla Uzhhorod up. The players agent told Guy Whittinghim that the wages aren't an issue and that his player is still in great shape as he is playing in Ukraines highest league with teams such as Shaktar Donstek and Dynamo Kiev. Todorov was a fans favourite and is backed to rip league one apart. The bulgarian would help to boost the squad numbers at gratin which are currently thread bare. Hopefully a deal can be done with Svetoslavs agent saying 'Basically, if portsmouth want him- a deal will be done' he carried on to say 'the money being talked about, the wages Pompey can pay, isn't an issue'. Toddy is willing to it for the club he loves.

How can Portsmouth still operate and continue to sign players? they owe millions and I believe the Fl will expell them at the end of the season if they do not come out of administration.
Its a shame for the fans but what about the creditors who they owe???

The fans are not guilty? they actively encouraged it! I think you lot have selective memories, you were loving it when the owners were filling your heads full of the nonsense that they did, like that joke of a new stadium they proposed at Gunwharf etc, the players they bought and couldn't afford. What your fans don't seem to realise is, is that you are just a small club with no large following, look at your gates now? how can you say you are the most loyal, most passionate fans in the football league? you delude yourselves, your neighbours are more loyal than you, more passionate, the gates prove it. Your fans sold their souls to dodgy foreign owners and loved your 5 minutes of glory and now its time to pay the piper and you don't like it. Football clubs which are not run properly and owe so much money should be wound up immediately and all this nonsense about it not being fair on the fans is pathetic, they knew the pitfalls of having foreign owners and accepted the good times readily but cry foul when it all goes tits up. good ridance to bad rubbish!

Obviously if someone offers you money and success you're going to go for it. Doesn't mean it's our fault. We didn't know they were dodgy, we didn't know that this would happen. We ARE the best fans in the country, so you post is just pure jealousy cause you either don't have any passionate fans, or you don't have any fans full stop. You are just a lonely fan who hates everyone just cause they aren't what you like. When/If the supporters trust buys the club we will be running on low funds, so we can resolve the financial issues. When this situation happened to others, even Southampton, the Majority of us were supportive, we don't want any club to go out of existence, it ruins the Beautiful game. Anyone that wants a club to go bust is not a true football fan, and should go watch hockey or something like that.

Sorry but I, m a true fan and that post was correct, your club is a disgrace to football because you want it all your way, if your club cannot pay its way then why should the rest of league one suffer because we have to accomodate your club, and as for yours being the best fans, you have to be having a laugh?? do me a favour mate there are lots more clubs out there with more passionate fans than yours, and yes that includes your neighbours, they are a much bigger and better run club than yours and there are loads of clubs who are so don't tell me about passion mate as your fans obviously don't otherwise they would be still filling your so called ground up to help your club survive...fact, I, m a Leeds fan by the way so don't talk to me about passion, at least we turn up when the chips are down something your lot no very little about, and by the way it will be you going to watch hockey or something soon

Have to support the Pompey fans here, NONE of what has happened is their fault, it's dodgy owners who use English football as a plaything. As for passionate fans, Pompey are up ther with the likes of Newcastle, Sunderland, Liverpool, Sheff Wed, and indeed Leeds. Passion is not just about numbers, if it was Man Utd and Arsenal would be top of the list!

Sorry mate it is about the numbers because if they were that passionate they would be turning out when the chips are down its pathetic that they get barely 10,000 when they kid everyone that they are passionate, passionate my friend means voting with your feet and supporting the club to keep them from going out of business, alll I see from them is probably 9000 passionate die hards but the rest glory hunters, when they were in the same division last time they just about got 8000 average gates so how is that passionate? the fans are just as culpable to their plight as they don't turn up, FACT!
