Kenny Dalglish will step down from Liverpool manager to Liverpool assistant manager in the summer. The new manager will be Lois Van Gaal who was sacked as Bayern Munich after the 1-1 draw yesterday.
At you scousers. . don't get linking bayern munich players to liverpool just because of this rumour of Van Gaal to become liverpool manager at the end of the season. . Van Gaal hasn't got a close enough relationship with any of the players to bring any of them with him to Liverpool
why is it that when a well known manager gets the sack
or resigns his postion at a well known club someone will
put 2 & 2 together and always come up with 5 ?
it was the same when Claudio Ranieri resigned from
Roma
as for Dalglish stepping down to become assistant manager
you clearly don't know anything about him or the club
as it was stated only yesterday
Talks between them and Kenny Dalglish about the current caretaker manager's future began three weeks ago.
"We have taken a wait and see approach, " says Mr Kennedy.
"The conversations are happening now with the appropriate people - Ian Ayre, Damien Comolli, and the ownership.
"But I do think he [Dalglish] has provided a great lift. He is a wonderful man, he is passionate about the club."
dont think he would be trying to get a contract to become assistant manager to anyone

Nigel Adkins has been promised a substantial transfer kitty should Southampton get promoted to the Championship.
Transfer targets are:
Brian Stock (Unlikely as happy at Rovers but still possible)
Alex Smithies (should Hudds not get promoted)
Brian Howard
Darren Ambrose
Andrew Surman (unless Norwich go up)
Ched Evans
Nigel Adkins knows he will have to replace some of the old heads and will most certainly have the funds to do it

Ex Barnsley and Huddersfield boss, Andy Ritchie, is currently holding talks with Norwich City about the possibility of becoming their Assistant Manager. Paul Lamber needs a bit more firepower in the 'Backroom Staff' area and believes Ritchie will be an ideal candidate to push Norwich into the Premier League.

Ex Grimsby Town manager, Neil Woods, looks set to sign a deal to be Boston United manager until the end of the season. Woods wants to get back into professional football but believes Boston would be the right way forward. Woods also thinks being Boston manager wouldn't disrupt his family home as he lives not far away from the place.

Former International boss, Stuart Baxter, is currently holding talks with Kilmarnock about the possibility of being their manager. Baxter wants to coach in Scotland to add to his massive CV of where he has never coached. Baxter did play in Scotland for Dundee United.

Paul Simpson is expected to sign a three year contract with Stockport County to be their Techincal Director. Simpson was relieved of his duties last year and is expected to work closely with current boss Ray Mathias.

Champions League winner, Steve Finnan, is currently holding talks with Sheffield United about signing for them for the start of next season. Finnan, currently a free agent after being released by Portsmouth, wants a one year contract and believes League 1 or the Championship would be ideal. Charlton Athletic, Reading and Colchester United are also trying to get in touch with Finnan but 'The Blades' looks like his first choice.

Adam Le Fondre is currently in talks with Leeds United over a possible move. Le Fondre has previously held talks with Hungarian side Ferencvaros but believes the standard in Hungary is as good as League 2 and wouldn't be a step up. Also, his strike partner at Rotherham, Ryan Taylor, looks to have pre-signed a contract with Bristol City after being linked with a number of Championship clubs including Barnsley and Sheffield United.

-Liverpool Goalkeeper and Hungary International, Peter Gulasci, is set to join Hull on a free transfer
-Jes s Rueda will join from Real Valladolid for around £220,000
-Nicky Ajose will join from Manchester United on a six month loan, after impressing in League 2 with Bury
-Bořek Dočkal will join from Slovan Liberec in Czech Republic on a free transfer
-Simon Walton will re-sign from Plymouth but only will be given a one month rolling contract to prove he has the right attitude as well as fitness
-Jody Craddock will join from Wolves for around £600,000
-Yaan Kermogant will join on a free transfer from Leicester City
-Jack Cork, currently on loan with Burnley from Chelsea, will join Hull City on loan for a full season and if City can provide the money, anytime during the spell, he is available for around £1.7 million
-Shavar Thomas, currently plying his trade in the MLS, will join on trial with a view to a six month rolling contract.
Neil Danns will definately not be joining though, as he set for a trial with Sporting Gijon in Spain. If he fails the trial, he's lined up a three year contract at Eredivsie side NAC Breda. Anthony Gerrard, Brad Guzan and Jack Hobbs will not be signing to. Gerrard is set for a £1 million move to Blackpool, Guzan will be released by Aston Villa and is set to sign for Wolves and finally, Hobbs is in contract talks with Wigan Athletic.

I have heard that Xabi Alonso has fallen out with Mourinho and Liverpool are keeping tabs on him with a view to him returning. They are also linked with Wigan pair James McCarthey and Charles N'Zogbia for £12million and also either Gary Cahill or Scott Dann, with the later the more likely for around £7million.
Chelsea linked with Bojan and Ibrahimovic which could see the end to Didier Drogba who apparently wants to go to Marseille.
Man United have sealed a deal for Jack Rodwell for an initial £12million rising to close to £20million. They are keeping tabs on Jordan Henderson and Conor Wickham.

Heard from a very good source that Arsene Wenger is currently readying an £11m bid for Daniel Sturridge. Majority is add-ons relating to goals and England appearances etc.

Seems spurs are keeping tabs on a few younger players some now very well known inc the young ipswich lad from yesterdays great debute as well as some of europs rising stars like lukaku, spurs are watching both of ipswich's stars in conor wickham (who despite signing a new contract should still sign for spurs) and josh carson, they are keeping a very close eye on villa's trio of mark albrighton, ciaran clark and gary gardner, with gardner the fav? also gud poyets son diego is on the spurs radar as is eden hazards brother thorgan
