Hello people,I have it on good advice from a reliable source who has been right about most Liverpool transfers in the past,that Liverpool are trying to sort out a deal to get Javier Mascherano's contract at West Ham terminated.Apparently Rafa sees him as cover for Momo (yeah,I know,I don't understand that man either,but hey).He also wants to sign Villa in a deal involving Garcia and cash,but probably won't get him because Villa wants to fulfill his ambitions at Valencia.Others he wants but won't get are Torres and Micah Richards.In non-Liverpool-related business,Stokes to Celtic for £1 million is outrageous.If Arsenal rated that badly they'd have let him go before instead of sending him out on loan to gain experience.Arsene Wenger is set to take Jesus Navas from Sevilla over the summer. However, the transfer is going to have a very sophisticated structure. Wenger doesn not want to have another Reyes - a significan't talent who, however, fails to settle in England. Navas has well-documented home-sickness issues. Because of his obvious talent, though, Wenger will take a chance. The transfer will be permanent, though Arsenal will be able to sell the player back to Seville after one year for a full refund of around 15 million Euros. The reason he will not simply go to Arsenal on loan is that Wenger does not want him to have an easy way out, so that Navas will take it upon himself to adapt. Firstly Steven Pressley will not be signing for Rangers. He would only be a short term deal. his destination will be Tannadice to team up with Levein. Ivica Olic will only sign if he decides to leave CSKA Moscow in January. If he stays PLG will attempt to sign him up on a bosman. PLG sees him as a rplacement for Prso and Prso is being used to recruit him. There will be some comings and goings but not wholesale changes. A centre half will sign along with Scott brown. PLG has sounded out Matthew upson but may not be able to compete with Premiership wages if some of the big boys are interested.Latest from Old Trafford

Now that Clichy has had a decent run out and proved to be inadequate, I think you will see a left back as the only signing in January. I know the target is Eric Abidal but his team his still involved in the champs league so he probably won't move. But he will move to Arsenal in the summer along with Ribery. So the rumour is that Arsenal are finally going to get Curtis Davies fora decent price and he's going to play left back, which is where he belongs anyway.
Anthony Stokes will stay with Falkirk for the rest of the season and if he can't win a spot in the first team next year will go to Celtic. The rumour is based upon a converstion that took place between DB's reps and Celtic along the lines of " If david was available would you be interested. ." . It came out in Spain about 6 weeks ago in the Newspaper - Marca from Madrid the same newspaper who broke the story of Beckham to Real aswell as most of Real Madrids transfer activity and it is often said they don't get much wrong. .
Then it came out in Scotland AND England the next day and Jounalists where asking Strachan and Lawwell about it.

I am led to believe Thomson and Brown are done deals and Brown will join in January while Thomson will join in the summer
Voronin will join in January for £750k and his cousin Tymoschyuk will join in the summer for £2.3m
Stokes will join in January for £1m as Strachan has already done the deal with Liam Brady and Kilgallon will also join in January for £1.5m

Gago would be the obvious choice but his club want £20m + for him and there is no way wenger will pay that.
