Use our rumours form to send us football transfer rumours.

I do not really think many teams are going to spend huge amounts of money on players this year, but some seem quite likely. Needless to say I cannot confirm any of these, but who can?

Chelsea maybe to sign a few players to replace Lampard or Drogba if they decide to leave. Maybe Deco is already his replacement. But if either goes, Eto'o and maybe Arshavin, but really he will go to Barcelona. Most players go to where they want regardless of a bit more pocket change.

Liverpool to sign Barry and no one else. Villa would never leave Valencia, without making a serious step–up in his career.

Arsenal will not sign anyone else if the Nasri deal goes through as planned.

Man United to sign a couple of players to build on success. All they need is one forward, a defender, and maybe some young prodigies to come through the ranks. Huntelaar seems they most likely option up front, but Villa might be a long shot. Who would not want to join the European Champions? Van der Vaart to come in as well. Do not expect Ronaldo to go, but if he does, a quick bid will be made for Quaresma. If we do sell him, they money will go straight into the next transfer window. The defender is to be Ramos, if he decides he will leave Madrid. He is quoted as being unhappy. If not him, then Micah Richards will be a red this season.

Till next time.

THFC; the office has sifted through the paperwork regarding the JAMIE O'HARA loan move to Fulham, so I have got time to flick through the rumours? YNWA you need to rename yourself to YAWN? you quoted that "Robbie will not renew his contract next season and will be at the pool"? Robbie put pen to paper on the 28th of may signing a new five year deal keeping him at the club to 2012. also, we know Robbie will not be moving.
the City square mile London.
Bolton to go for Readings James Harper. Liverpool are having a very close look into signing two players from Ajax – Huntelaar and van der wiel. Tottenham will make a bid for Klose or podolski if Keane goes to Liverpool. Curro Torres on his way to St. James park. Heard it here first.
To the person who asked where I read that Adebayor must leave Arsenal to raise funds, that is not what I meant. It is that it would be good buisness to sell Adebayor for around £30 million then buy a replacement for around 15 mil. I have read from a source a quote from AC Milan manager saying ''I have received a letter from Arsenal. It says, ‘Following our communication of June 13, in which we informed you we were not willing to deal over Adebayor, now we are writing to tell you we will consider a deal if it still interests you'', indicating that Wenger is keen to sell Adebayor. Whether this is true or not I do not know but this is a quote from the Milan manager, not from me. I believe Adebayor will be sold with most likely Huntelaar as a replacement for £18 million as we would need a replacement of real class and we do not have another forward who is yet ready for the starting line up alongside van Persie. Walcott and Vela could be in a couple of seasons but not yet. Plus Huntelaar would be joining his Dutch team mate van Persie which he would probarbly be keen on. Lets hope Hleb now leaves because I do not know about any other Arsenal fans but I am personally tierd of him thinking he's better than he is, then taking a stab at us in an interview. Nasri and Bischoff to sign within weeks.

Thanks,
ArsenalNo. 1
David Moyes will sell Andy Johnson to Wigan for £10 million, Arteta to Athletico or Real Betis for £15 million and maybe Valente to Celtic for £3 million as he will have to sell to buy new players and once he has got enough money he will buy Darren Fletcher from Man United for £6 million, Diego Milito from Zaragoza on loan, bassong from Paris St. Germain for £1.5 million and either engelaar from FC twente for £4 million or Lennon from Tottenham for £7.5 million– I know this because I play for Everton in the community and thier office is inside Goodison park.
thanx 4 Reading BLUE 4 EVER.
I have just passed my qualifications to be an agent, I was mentored by a top class agent who advises and manages many Premier League stars some earning £125k/week and I know for certain that David Villa will join Liverpool by the end of July for a fee close to £25 million euros. With Barry deal done for £15 million pounds and Finnan going the opposite way riera from Espanyol will problem sign instead of Silva unless Rafa can offload Pennant with Newcastle and Portsmouth querying this situation, but may be put off by Liverpool's evaluation of £7.5 million pounds. when I hear more I will let you know. the agent.
Plymouth Argyle are interested in signing former Middlesboro forward Joseph–Désiré Job who is available on a free transfer from Nice.

Carl Fletcher is due for talks about a possible move south but wages might be an issue.

All players signed will demand contracts worth £5 million a year. The club will pay these contracts for as long as possible, or until the club finally goes into administration.
To the guy who suggested that there was going to be a takeover of Birmingham and that David Gold would be the 100 percent owner. Yes, that may happen but not this season. You say it is the talk of the City er. no it is not there is no such rumour that Birmingham are going to be brought out around the City at all. Quiet at Birmingham? Even though we've signed a ex– England international and a reliable central midfielder who has played at the top level for a while and is a fan of the club.

The reason why we've not gone out and brought 3–4 players extra is because the manager is looking for loyal hard– working talent I respect him for this.

We will not be signing the likes of – Bent, Kitson, Trundle etc, young players will be recruited. Clinton Morrison could return (unlikely).
If it is a Newcastle fan saying that we will be getting David Moyes as manager what are you talking about king kev is a much better manager and will see out his contract.
Ashley will sell up thank god 4 that we will be took over by American base inter medias and will give the king 50 million to spend we will sign.

To the Evertonian banging on about Newcastle then talking about who they are going to buy. firstly you said you are going to buy a young left back from ipswitch for £2,000,000 but only if they sell. get your facts and sources right if you have any because he plays for Leicester, I should no as I live there and had a season ticket for seven years.
now for some real news.
Joe mattock will be leaving Leicester but to Villa for £2. 500,000
more Leicester players will be leaving but not until replacements are found.
With Kevin Phillips finally making up his mind and leaving West Bromwich this will leave Tony Mowbray free to bid for both Ameobi and Nugent. This will link them up with Miller and Moore, all England under 21's at some point. Just the kind of players he is looking for.
To the Wolves fan who says that Marvin Elliott will join them that the truth is that Wolves have no interest for him or any other City players. Bristol City also have no interest in Eastwood as City will sign Emad Moteab in the next week.

M

80 percent guaranteed from good sources

reports suggested that Anton Ferdinand was going to sign a new new contract at the Hammers but he has recently held discussions with his big brother and Rio advised him to make a move to a much bigger club like Tottenham which can offer him Uefa football.
Also with Ramos huge transfer kitty he will bring in four more major signings these include
1) David Bentley–16 mill
2) Lukas Podolski– 9 mill
3) Sergio Ramos– 7.5 mill
4) Fredi kanoute– 18 mill
Kanoute will only join if Berbatov or Keane leaves. No big clubs have came in for Berbatov beacause they do not want to pay his asking price but Liverpool are interested in Keane.
expect a strange starting eleven next season.
Just heard tonight at the tollgate. jon walters has signed for Stoke good times ahead
Massive behind scenes turmoil at Newcastle, Chris Mprt resigned as Chairman as he not happy with direction Ashley wanting to take club in, Mort was instrumental in recruting Kevin keegan but feels Keegan constantly undermined, Keggan will resign by 21st July if no change, Keegan was told at summit at end of season he would have final say on transfers yet he did not want to sign Jonas Guitterez who has come on reccomendation of new head of scouting Jeff Vetere. Keegan not happy clubhas not made effort to sign two of his top targets Crouch and Sidwell and wanted to keep Steve Round on coaching staff. Keegan told local media following Jonas signing he would not be discussing this or any othere signings for fortnight this is due to fact that if Keegans next target is not secured he will quit. Wise already using his ex Chelsea links to sound out Glenn Hoddle, Ashley looking to sell as fears backlash from fans when KK resigns. Only thing that could change KK's situation is Dennis Wise leaving club. All sales have been puton hold until Keegans situation ressolved.
'Wigan are confident of capturing Johnson, who is believed to be unwilling to uproot his family from the north west, for a club record fee of about £11 million. (Daily Telegraph)

Rubbish, Johnsons family still live in Bedford. '

Perhaps the family home in Chehire is just a mirage. AJ to Wigan. fact

To the guy who said Michael Owen on loan to Celtic, WELL done.I was at Celtic Park today and saw him being taken into the stadium to have a look about. From what I understand Newcastle would have first refusal on McGeady next Summer as part of the deal. I have heard that if this deal falls through then Celtic will go after Raul from Madrid. Heard Real want him out the club after a major bust–up with one of their directors who laughed at him missing out on Spain's success in Austria.
After the successful transition into the Scottish Premier League of Carlos Cuellar, Rangers manager Walter Smith is looking to plunder the Spanish market again, he is considering making an offer for young Villareal centre back Cesar Arzo Amposta, he would cost approx £2 million. He is looking to strengthen this position and is also keen about Watfords Danny Shittu.

He is also looking for a right/left back and still in talks with Fulham over a permanent move for Steve Davis, Fulham are holding out for £4 million while Smith has offered £3 million which has been rejected, this could be a long drawn out affair like the transfer of Naismith last year.

Funds are tight so do not expect any more new faces until the likes of Cousin, Gow and possibly Darcheville head out the exit door.
One Newcastle fan leaves a rumour on here and everyone slates all geordies how wrong is that.now
for some rumours
there is a big one up here that Owen will be going to Celtic on loan.
as for Everton you fans on here have to wake up there is no money so you have to sell before you can buy
that is a fact with the new ground the pot is dry, look at Arsenal.
Ivanovic on his way to Ibrox for a one year loan watty sees him as the perfect partner for Carlos Cuellar and Chelsea would like to send him out for first team football as he is behind carvalhio and Alex in the pecking order at the bridge
The one yesterday re Roberto Carlos at Celtic is true. I am a friend of Rangers third in command Kenny McDowell and Rangers were also interested but player turned them down on a faith issue as he did not want to play for a club with a history of bigotry towards roman catholics. fact.

On the other side of defense, Rangers are looking for a right back as Broadfoot is not up to it and the management prefer Whittaker going forward. Player they are looking at is Reading captain Graeme Murty. Think this would be a good signing for the mighty Rangers as will be very cheap and very reliable. Look out for this happening soon.

Walt and Allys Army.
I have been a massive Newcastle fan for 29 years (considering that I am only 28 shows just how ardent I am) and I must admit that some of the tripe that comes out of other 'supposed' Newcastle fans' mouths in incredible. I was true that we had an interest in Arshavin and tried to wrap a deal up before the Euro's but now he is well and truly out of our league. We will struggle to sign Arda but he may still opt for a switch to Tyneside. Our main targets will be fairly big names but no–one massive will come (at least in the Summer), there will be speculation (and maybe even a few bids) for world class players to appease the fan base (like bidding for Rooney after selling Woodgate) but our best bet is to wait quietly until to Euro frenzy has died down. I love the specualtion about Arda, Veloso etc. but the truth is we cannot offer them much this year so we will have to make do with third tier players (in world terms) such as Aimar, who could potentially return to his exceptional form of 3/4 years ago and maybe even a big bid for Kuzmanovic from Fiorentina, but even they are in Europe.
Finally to settle the Newcastle/Tottenham/Toffees argument. We shouldn't be arguing, we should be working together to bring down the evil empire – the resistance will come from us and us only and we should be urging each other on, not bringing each other down.
Peace out
Geordieboy
Well to the Everton fan who went on about the fact that it's not hard for Newcastle to get a great fanbase due to the fact we are a one club City, not quite there is blue star too. lol

you made the point that you realise that Tottenham have lots of clubs around them but a high population, but when you compare Everton and Newcastle with those principles you fail to mention that Liverpool is 'massive' by population, I could not find many population stats but this is from the census in 2001,

Liverpool– 539473
Newcastle– 259536

im guessing this site will not post this because they are also anti Newcastle which I believe from many things which they allow to be posted negative compared to positive

im not claiming with these examples that Newcastle is bigger I just think that people are very selective, I think the whole arguement would be best suited for the terreces and wait until the season starts and enjoy it lads and lasses. please.
Michael Owen to Glasgow Celtic loan deal done, Newcastle to have first option on McGeady in return.
Darren Fletcher to Glasgow Celtic again on loan deal, rumour is that there is a centre half and left back in the bag all to be revealed this week with the usual trumpet blowing when we put another one over on the buys that reaRangers have made at the jumble sales
Keep the flags coming Bhoys
Celtic – growing arms and legs this one in Glasgow. Michael Owen will sign on for Celtic, he wants Champions League football and no English club in competition needs him. also strong possibly that Roberto Carlos will sign on a pay as you play deal and receive percent of merchandising receipts. only other real rumour is Gabriel Tamaz, Romanian defender for around £3.5 million. rest on here is purely dreams without substance. hail hail.
LES DECHETS – It is well known (thanks to Nasri, Nasri's agent and Marsille) that Nasri will sign when he returns from holiday. Rumours from the club is that he has already signed on the dotted line, but Marsille did not want the transfer to go through until July so it would be on next seasons accounts – this is why we have not yet held the custommary press conference to unvail him.

I have heard that AC Milan are negotiating a deal for Adebayor that is in the region of £28 million, but will include add on's that could see us recieve up to £34 million should AC win various competitions and may also be linked to Adebayor's goal tally. Milan did not want to pay over the odds for a player with 1 good season so far, but would be prepared to pay if they are winning trophies.

As for players coming in, I have no news at all which is unusual as I live next to and am quite friendly with one of the coaching staff. He is the person who told me about the proposed Hleb to Inter with us getting Chivu in return that fell through when Jose took over.

The same person told me that transfer news is not being discussed at the training ground and even the scouts (who are prety vocal about who they are watching) have been quiet, which makes him think there will be a deal or two done soon and the club want it kept very hush hush.

Wish I knew more but I dont.
Yeovil have signed Darren Way Back From Swansea, With His third Spell At The Club Bringing Hope To Most Fans. Yeovil Will Also Sign Micheal Barnes, and Jody Bowuder on either year contracts or loans. Also heading to huish park could be highly rated Portsmouth keeper Begovic on a season–long loan, with also another keeper coming in.
Glasgow Rangers have held in depth talks with young Ajax winger/midfielder Jeffery Sarpong about a move to Glasgow.

I work in a hotel in a luxury hotel in Erskine, Glasgow and seen Martin Bain (Chief executive) and manager Walter Smith entering one of our private conference meeting rooms.

They were in for over an hour and all seemed in good spirits when they left.

This is the second occasion I have seen reps from Rangers use this hotel for talks the other occasion being when they signed Daniel Cousin.
My mate has just returned from his holidays and has claimed he saw Rick Parry dining in a restaurant in Valencia, Villa talks?
I wish everybody would concentrate on their own team intead of slagging others off. I am an Evertonian so I could not give a monkeys about Tottenham or Newcastle or City, etc. etc. Moyes leaving? I doubt it. A lot hangs on the stadium decision, but it's not the B all and end all. The board stumped up for A. J, the Yak, Baines so there is some investment form the board, it's just we cannot compete with the Rich teams. I mean City offering Ronaldinho 200 grand a week, how stupid is that. Unbelievable. Round joined cause of Moyes' vision for the future. Doesnt really sound like a man who's going to jump ship. He was frustrated with himself for not going for arshavin, but after seeing his display against Spain, maybe he was right to wait and see him play against good opposition. Moyes' interest in Fletcher could bear fruit as he's an experienced player in the mould of Neville. as for players leaving A. j could go but not Arteta, although someones point about his injury being more serious than first thought was food for thought certainly. If A. j goes I expec t Moyes to go for a proven Premier League goalscorer, with Darren Bents name being mentioned, although I am sure Moyes is aware of Santa cruz' amazing first season and a reported release fee Clause in his contract of around £7 million. Might even consider a straight swap with the Hammers for Ashton. As for the midfield, manny back on loan, but I cannot see Bentley joining, cause he's "big time" now. Muppet. Aimar is also a target of Moyes and he has inquired about Wright–Phillips, but we cannot sign everyone, so my guesses are Fletcher, manny on loan, aimar or johnson, Wright–Phillips and a forward depending on what A. j does. All the talk of boardroom strife is utter nonsense. Kenwright is a blue and would never jeapordise his beloved Everton. I wonder if roman, hicks/gillette, thaksin etc. care about their club as much as Bill does. If he is thinking about selling some of the club it would be to the right person, perhaps the tesco ceo who is reported to be a toffee. The stadium has only been delayed due to the sheer size of the project, with the boroughs and councils all voting in favour by a huge majority. Sure some fans will protest but their seats will easily be filled and they can always watch Everton in the Champions League on telly. With tesco on board, there will not be any problems and the stadium would be reportedley ready for the 2010/11 season. Go Toffees.
Lampard could leave Chelsea, once again proving that their is no longer loyalty in football. Emile Heskey on his way to Hull, Fulham or Watford. Leeds United are to sign BWP for 100 k (ish). Jerry Smart
My boyfriend works in the Arsenal club shop and says that Adebeyor will be staying. Ashavin is unlikely to sign but Nasri should finally sign by the weekend. Expect at least another two signings by the start of the season.

  Arsenal rumours:

Adebayor will soon agree to join Milan, he has been offered a take it or leave it deal but now the Gunners will talk to Milan and discuss the price. Expect the 2 parties to meet at £29 million, Arsenal are only putting a huge tag on his head so that they get the best possible figure for the greedy forward who had one good season. This will soundthe signing of Martins for his 13.8 million release Clause to partner RVP and will also be perfect alongside Bendtner. Ruben De la red is the replacement for Flamini and will be completed in the next month, Nasri is done as is Bischoff. Gilberto will go as will Hleb and Eboue. Watch this all unfold over the next month
Birmingham City could bring Irish midfielder Owen Garvan to St. Andrews from Ipswich Town. A deal of £3 million has been agreed and should be complete within the next two weeks.
Tottenham will call a press conference on Friday morning to announce the signings of Steve Sidwell, David Bentley and Seb Larson.
EXCLUSIVE RANGERS NEWS – 100 percent True, My contact inside Ibrox (U19's player) has just this morning passed on the following to me. Rangers are in advanced talks to sign on loan for the season none other than Tal Ben Haim from Chelsea. He will slot straight into the position vactaed by by the Newcastle United bound Carlos Cuellar. I am sure all you bears will agree he will be an adequate replacement for the Big Spaniard
  Charlton Rumours:

Zheng will not be leaving as expected neither will thomas, however both will be off in January. With the departures of Bougherra (betis) and Bent (Cardiff/Hull) pardew will sign James Collins on loan from Hammers and DJ campbell for Leicester, if that does not happen then ched evans will join from City. Mullins or Ethuhu will join to bolster up midfield. Ambrose will leave with newly promoted Stoke analysing his situation if he departs expect a bid to bring pacy winger etherington also a hammer. Charlton are also looking for a rb to partner moutakil and have identified a move for Hoyte or volz on loan for season.
The Scottish Premier League is at last getting financely bigger first of all I have it in good authority that the bank American International Group (AIG) are to be the leaugues sponsor in a five year deal worth around 400 million pounds commencing year 2009/2010.

We also have the Setanata £125 million contract for live domestic broadcasting rights is the largest ever television deal in Scottish football history and will last for four years, commencing from season 2010/11 until 2013/14.

Then you have the Scottish Premier League teams such as Celtic and St. mirren strongly being link with changing there stadiums names with Celtic changing there is to "The Nike Stadium" and St. mirrens new stadium to be called "The JJB"

Then you have stadium capacitys upgraded for the 2014 commonwealth games with Celtic looking for a new capacity of 72,000.

You heard this from the "Big man"
Cracking Rumours for all the Hammers out there

Sheff United lost their case and the counter claim was successful, Hammers are now awarded £2 million in costs from Sheff United lets hope this sinks them.

To the guy who said ask other people about who's the bigger club, Newcastle Tottenham and Everton. what a good idea, however is everyone else thinking what I am thinking? there all equally as pony as each other. I guess you would have to look at what they have all won within the last 10years, oh dear sorry did not mean to bring that up. Well done Tottenham looks like your carling cup pips the rest ha.

Scott Severin's futute lies away from Aberdeen as radio reports say two clubs have agreed a fee or around £800,000 with Aberdeen. Although the two clubs remain unknown, it has been rumoured that they are Rangers and Burnley.
George Boateng, Seji Olofinjana, Stelios Giannakopoulos, Ivan Campo, Martin Rowlands, Marcus Bent, Abdoulaye Meite, Jay Bothroyd and Clinton Morrison are all set to sign for Hull City
