Eduardo Macia, Liverpool's chief scout has been running the rule over Brazillian club Santo André's highly rated 17 year–old left–winger Plato.

Plato has been playing for his native town Sao Paolo's Santo André in the Brazillian Serie B for two seasons, although he has only brokern through in the second half of this season. He has 4 senior goals to his name, but in a full season at U–16 level he hit the net 14 times.

Marcia has watched Plato on three occasions and Rafa Benitez favours a move for the speedy winger, who he believes can ignite Liverpool's title challenge next season. A price of £3 million rising to £7 million depending on appearances has been mentioned.

Unlike the fuss with Mark Gonzalez, Plato's signing does not depend on getting a work permit as one of his grandparents is Spanish and as such he qualifies for a European passport.

Swiss midfielder David Degan will sign for Celtic next week as he had a trial earlier in the year and impressed Gordan Strachan. Celtics move for swiss striker Alexander Frei could be in doubt as dortmund won't allow the move.

Expect whittacker to come in with hisoto soto (japanese striker) and tommy gravese, Jarosik, Beattie and Riordan to leave the club!

Hail hail bhoysand ghirls decky in N. ireland!

LEICESTER CITY RUMOURS

After Carl Cort deal went through next signing for Mad Dog will be Jonathon Hayes.

Following that Mad Dog will continue his attempts to sign,

Radostin Kisheshev

Lee Hendrie

Arjan De Zeuw

He will also make a £1mil bid for Saganowski and swoop for Danny Murphy, Kemel Izzet, Julian Gray and Matty Jarvis to bolster the midfield.

Squad Next Year

GK – Nielsen/ Hendo/ Logie

LB – Mattock/ Sheehan

RB – Stearman/ Kenton

CB – N'Gotty/ De Zeuw/ McAuley/ Kisnorbo

RM – Hendrie/ Hayes/ Porter

LM – Gray/ Jarvis

CM – Weso/ Murphy/ Izzet/ Kisheshev

ST – Cort/ Hume/ Saganowski/ Fryatt/ Dodds/ Sappleton

I know Darren Bent's Dad Mervyn and gave me a few nuggets for next season – firstly Merv is quite keen for Darren to go to Spurs rather than West Ham – also Liverpool are willing to make the same offer that West Ham made and had accepted.

Second, Merv reckons that Michael Owen has already secretly signed with Man United and that the announcement is round the corner

Thirdly, by all accounts Carlos Tevez has already signed for Chelsea – another well known secret in the football world. This kinda ties in with all the rumours a couple of years back when Tevez went to Corinthians, a club financially supported by Abramovich and his friends.

Time will tell whether Mervyn Bent is right about these but he got all the movements last summer correct!

Arsenal will not be signing Makouda, this is just typical Wenger smokescreen. Coming to the club will be Babel (Ajax) to cover wide positions and Mexes to replace Senderos who is wanted by a few clubs in Europe and himself wants to move on and play regularly for a new club.

Ljungberg will be off with the club being forced to let him go for free due to wages and a surprise departure could be Gilberto as Italian clubs are eyeing him and will offer him a longer term contract than he will get from Arsenal.

Birmingham City are to Announce 9 major signings before the beginning of the new season. The west midlands club will again do business with Arsenal to complete the loan signing of Johan Djourou, and the £5 million double signing of Matheiu Flamini and Phillippe Senderos. Also Birmingham will complete the signing of England under 21 and Preston striker David Nugent for £5.5 million plus Mikael Forssell going in the opposite direction. The 5th&6th signings will be that of Tottenham's Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam Mido for £2.5 million and former England under 21 winger Wayne Routledge for £1. 25 million. Birmingham will then complete a deal to bring England under 21 goalkeeper Scott Carson from Liverpool for £1.5 million. The 8th will be Paul Konshesky from West Ham United for £2.5 million. Finally Birmingham will make the contRoversial signing of Steven Davis from local rivals Aston Villa for £2 million. These signings are hoped will mean Birmingham will avoid the drop out of the Premiership and will protect the clubs long term future as many of the players are under 25.

I am a close friend of Harry Kewell and he is currently in Australia, preparing for the asian nations cup. he has told me that florent Malouda is going to move Liverpool because he feels there is more heart there and that Harry is looking to play on the right wing because of Malouda. Rafa is also contemplating a bid for inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic

LIVERPOOL FC RUMOURS

LIVERPOOL HAVE LOST Out ON 4 MAIN TARGETS THIS SUMMER AND RAFA WILL QUIT THIS WEEK IF NO SIGNINGS ARE MADE AND WHEN YOU SAY NO HE WONT ILL LET YOU NO I HEARD THE ARGUMENT MY SELF IM THE BALD CLEANER AT MELWOOD AND I HAVE TO SAY RAFA DOES LIKE HIS OFFICE CLEANED!

Torres to United 15mil plus Saha

I work at the superstore outside parkhead and I honestly saw eider gudJohnsen. expect a bid of around 7–10 million for him.

2 in a row 8 more to go

I have on good authority that Rangers have a minimal budget this summer (2–3 million) and are hoping to sell sionko, buffel, papac, sebo to generate additional funds. most signings will be bosmans, Broadfoot, gow, darchville already done deals. the only money paid will be to Wigan (1.2 million&600k) for McCulloch and Wigan respectively and (1 million max) for Kilmarnocks Stevie naismith. look out for Celtic snaping up naismith if Rangers can't agree fee, which would be the 5th player in 6 months they have stolen from under the noses of their rivals – brown, pressley, hartley, Mcdonald already signed after turning down the gers, do the beggars not have any scouts over at parkhead?.

we are the laughing stock again.

Rafa is looking at David Bentley who he feels has the potential to be as good as David Beckham. Benitez knows that Bentley doesn't have pace but his cross more than makes up for it and he could offer Craig Bellamy in exchange–a straight swap.

Heinze will not be leaving Man United unless another left back arrives, Silvestre seems set to leave so that only leaves Evra. Torres won't be leaving Atletico, ever since he was 17 papers have been saying he's leaving but in the end he stays, this year won't be different. pato will not be coming to England even though Liverpool and Chelsea are after him, he prefers a move to Italy and both Milan clubs are after him. Renato augusto also won't be in England as a move to Lyon seems very likely and also Dani Alves will stay at seville unless a big offer is made and he prefers to stay in Spain with interest from barce and Madrid. Malouda will join Liverpool and not Chelsea as he prefers them and also he would be first choice. Man United are interested in a striker Huntelaar and Saviola possible also a right back to replace the ageing and injury hit Neville but not urgent, heitinga maybe, micah Richards also possible but price will prevent deal with previous signings totaling 50mil and rght back not being essential. expect Arsenal to sign unknown youth looking for a finisher

AC Milan are hoping to spend big this summer by signing Thierry Henry, Samuel Eto'o and Ronaldinho. The Italian Giants have targetted an amazing swoop but could miss out on all of them.

=v1=

Ronald Koeman seems to be a potential Man City manager but City are hoping to speak to Juande Ramos at the end of the Spanish season. Sven Goran Errikson is also on the list of targets.

=v1=

Rangers have stolen a march on Liverpool and Valencia for Swedish youngster Mattias Bjarsmyr.

Bjarsmyr has Liverpool, Valencia and Ajax among European clubs chasing him, however Rangers are close to agreeing to trials with the IFK Gothenburg fullback.

Sam

Neil Warnock could be back in football management with Hearts in the SPL next season.

My best friends dad´s mate is a chauffeur and he had to dirve Michael Owen from Newcastle to Liverpool but not to Anfield but to Goodison were he told him he wants to join Everton and talks are going well but he wouldn't say how much he is signin for so watch out!

As already stated Man United are still looking in the transfer market for a striker with 30million their budget as other players will be sold as well as the the 20million that we still have left. The 3 choices are Eto'o 30million, Huntelaar 17 million and Gilardino 16 million. Most probably Eto'o although if we sign Huntelaar or Gilardino we will have enough money left to sign a right back. Once again 3 choices Nelson 8 million, Heintiga (spelling) 6 million and Richards 14 million. Squad next season

The rumours surrounding Billy Sharp on here are ludicrous. Only two bids have been made, one is Norwich City's which has been accepted. The other is from WBA.

Wolves can't afford him until the take over and Sheffield Wednesday can't afford him period (the moron who mentioned about the Bougherra money some of that went to Crewe, others went into payment of debts and Laws has only seen £1mil of it).

Chelsea to make a move for a young Central Defender, plying his trade for Corinthians. Name is Luizao, being compared to all the greats.

(j#m)

Norwich will sign Gavin Rae, Jamie Cureton,

David Marshall, John Otsemobor, Mark Saganowski,

Paul Dixon, Nathan Tyson/ Kris Commons (either but

that depends on whether JC signs), and finally

Sam Sodje.

Team line up 07/ 08

Goalkeeper: David Marshall

Right back: John Otsemobor

Centre back: Jason Shackell

Centre back: Sam Sodje/ Dion Dublin

Left back: Adam Drury/ Paul Dixon

Right midfield: Lee Croft/ Luke Chadwick

Centre midfield: Gavin Rae

Centre midfield: Dickson Etuhu/ Micky Spillane

Left midfield: Darren Huckerby

Centre forward: Mark Saganowski

Centre forward: Robert Earnshaw

Forest will not sign Alex–John–Baptiste he is considering a contract offer from Crewe and Forest haven't shown any interest.

Jason Crowe looked set to join forest last week but several championship clubs have made bids so now the deal seems unlikely. Jarvis is on his way too Leicester City and Aaron Davies is on his way too a championship club. Neil Lennon's ex teammate Henrik Larsson has told the Sunday Mirror that Lennon will make a great coach at Forest. This signals forest may be close to securing his services. Leon Best looks likely to sign for the reds after he turned down a contract offer from Southampton.

It has been quiet at Villa Park and some of the fans have began to feel a little jittery. Hold your tousers guys, here comes a tidal wave. These are sure fire signings. Fred of Lyon, De Jong and EmManuelson, Reo Coker, Curtis Davies and Craig Gordon. However there is more Sneijder, Fabiano and SWP are also on the radar. Bellamy is NOT coming, rejoice all ye Villians Craig B is NOT coming (huge sigh of relief) neither is Koumas or Defoe but MON has his eyes on Adriano of Inter and Nasri as the longer term superstars.

To the clown that writes that Wednesday can't afford Billy Sharp read on. Wednesday now have the financial clout to compete with any club in this division. chairman Dave allen has backed brian laws and now the new owners when the takeover is completed are believed to be giving laws a further 5 mill to spend. does this sound like a club on its uppers.

Luis Figo will consider a move to either the Premiership or America this summer. La Galaxy are keen to sign the Portugese ace although his availability has spurred the interest of Sam Allardyce who wanted to sign the winger when at Bolton. Luis Figo had previously agreed a move to Al Ittihad and made a U–Turn and has now insisted that he will Retire if Inter Milan do not offer him a new 1 year contract. Sam Allardyce is hoping that he can persuade the winger to postone retirement and play in the Premiership if Milan do not offer him the contract he wants. Tottenham and Liverpool may then show interest.

=v1=

The simple reason Rafa won't overpay for Alves, although he'd love to have him at Anfield, is because he's gained a greater respect for Finnan over the last 3 years. He understands he has a very solid man in that position and still has a couple years to find a young replacement. Look to Rafa to try Lieva on the right since he's still young enough and has the skills and speed to adapt to the position.

I can't beleive some people think Man United are going to spend 20mil + on a striker. After the Nani, Anderson and Hargreaves deals, United would have £10 million at most. It's likely Fergie will go for Saviola or even K. Doyle, but Saha, Heinze and Richardson could generate £15 – 20 million. If that is the case, Fergie could do a Liverpool, and sign Carlos Tevez, thus releasing him from M. S. I ownership. They would only have to pay £1.8 million up front till Jan 09.

Liverpool's Dutch starlet Jordy Brouwer could be loaned out next season to gain experience. Sheffield United may take on the youngster next season in the Championship.

Norwich are interested in highly rated centre back

Leon Barnett from Luton, it is thought that Peter

Grant will bid £1.5 million for the young player.

It is perfectly clear to me and also Wenger what actually needs to be done. People say big names won't come because they upset balance, however what Wenger means by upsetting balance is that he needs to fill in positions, it doesn't mean that the player has to be average. One of three wingers, Quaresma / Malouda / Babel. Hopefully Quaresma as he's amazing. Then a back up striker who has proved he can score goals and can also play as a starter. This could be Saviola, Nugent or somebody like briand. We don't need an expensive striker as HENRY IS STAYING. Due to African cup of nations two of our 4 best defenders will leave and Wenger probably feels there isn't great cover, this will mean somebody like Curtis Davies will arrive. These are the necessary signings, Wenger will also as always choose to pick somebody for the future, strong possibilities are Renato augusto or andres guardado. Wenger will only let players go that don't add anything to the team, he's made a great start by sending baptista and Aliadiere packing. Arsenal fans shouldn't be worried, we have funds, we have time, we have a great squad and we have Wenger.

Arsenal have two medicals booked at their London Colony training ground tomorrow morning.

Arsenal News

All things will be well at Arsenal by the summer, Firstly Stan Kroenke WILL complete a takeover at Arsenal however the deal will be done at the end of the summer so Kroenke's cash will be used mainly next summer. Secondly, Wenger will stay for LIFE ! and when he retires he will be an honoury member of the board, Henry will end his career at Arsenal then later be moulded into the next Arsene Wenger. David Dein will be reinstated and also Gerarrd Houllier will be hired into The Arsenalnal board. Arsenal will then have a great stadium, great board of directors and great youth team and this will allow them to compete as the worlds greatest club. With Financial backing next season and strong structure of the club see Arsenal's big signings sign next summer.

This summer the transfers for Arsenal are:

Within the next 7 days, Scottish side Hearts are set to unveil Radomir "Raddy" Antić as their new Manager on what is believed to be a two year deal. The Serbian will be given full control of team affairs by contRoversial majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov.

Everton to sign:

Leighton Baines (4m)

Luke Young (2m)

Kevin Nolan (5m)

Phil Jagielka (4m)

Manuel Fernadnes (season long loan)

Wayne Routledge (3m)

David Nuggent (6m)

Eager to get the new era at St James' Park underway, Big Sam Allardyce is wasting no time. The £8 million sale of Scott Parker to West Ham, the imminent departure of England international Kieron Dyer to Tottenham Hotspur, will clear the way for a £5.5 million swoop from former club Bolton, for the unsettled Kevin Nolan.

Joey Bartons signing for Newcastle has been delayed because he wants a 300k loyalty bonus.

Albert Luque will be given a chance to prove his worth by Sam Allardyce, a chance he did not get under Glenn Roeder.

With the eventual arrival of Joey Barton Newcastle will have, what is in my opinion, a midfield that rivals the top four.

With Owen, Martins, Viduka and Ameobi, all we need is a few decent defenders and we'll be back pushing for UEFA cup/ champions league. Defenders such as Baines or Bridge and a two more centre backs.

T. O. L. Look out for breaking news concerning Glasgow Rangers in the next few days, a British business man intends to invest/ bankroll in Rangers to the sum of £25. 000.000, this will allow Walter Smith to bid for two major European stars, one defender (from Denmark), one striker (German), also a take it or leave bid of £1.4M for Naismith will be made when the player returns from holiday, players like Beasley, Wright, Healy,

and Whitaker could also be joining Rangers for the possible opportunity to play in the Champions League. W. a. t. p.

Milan will make a bid in the region of £35 million for Thierry Henry. If this fails then will then go for Samuel Eto'o. They are still keen on Ronaldinho for £48 million but this deal now looks unlikely.

Inter are battling it out with Man United for Tevez's signature. Inter are favourites as they are prepared to pay £36 million where as Man United would prefer a loan deal

Straight from the horses mouth: "Rangers will sign two Premiership players in the next week". Moves expected for Eagles on loan from Man United&Kanu from Pompey. This will bring the trophies back to Ibrox.

Yakubu could be on his way out of Middlesbrough as well this summer with Harry Redknapp keen to sign the former Portsmouth striker and bring him back to Fratton Park.

=v1=

To the guy who said Nugent will sign for Everton for 5m, I am not disputing his first choice is Everton but Sunderland have Bid 6 million And Stern John so why would PNE accept a 5 million bid?

2 things that are not common knowledge

For whatever reason Cardiff will not let the Darius Henderson thing go – Watford said no to £0.75 million and £1 million – seems a deal at £1.3 million is likely to go through this week.

For West Ham fans – the stories about KJ standing up on behalf of Sheffield United and confirming that the deal was dodgy and that the re–registration in time for the Wigan game was illegal seem to be true – he evidently took legal advice on his position on Thursday according to a contact and the view held both by Premier league and Football league is that if West Ham are guilty of an illegal player – £5.5 million fine if also of a cover up – a relegation of more than one division!

I don't exactly want to ramble on about this and that but I do have news concerning Bayern Munich. After they swooped for Frank Ribery of Marseille and Luca Toni of Fiorentina they will now look towards talented youngster Alexandre Pato for 11 million euros (7 million). All the talk of Lukas Podolski going to Spurs is rubbish. Podolski is contracted until 2010 and the Bayern president has already said he is going nowhere. Miroslav Klose will join in 2008 when his contract expires or Munich will give them half of what he is worth now. If Bremen do agree a deal with Bayern then this means that Dutch striker Roy Maakay will be heading to Italy to join AS Roma.

Within the next fortnight Glasgow Rangers will sign.

1. Beasley

2. Naismith

3. Konchensy

4. Wright

5. Cuellar (Swap + Cash)

6. Mido

7. Mc Fadden

Out going

1. Sionko

2. Buffell

3. Novo (Swap)

4. Svensson (loan)

5. Papac

6. Sebo

7. Boyd

McCulloch won't be signing as Wigan have put a £2.5 Mil. asking price on him but if Rangers make the qualifying stages of the Champions League, David Murray will give Walter Smith £12 million for the January transfer window.

Steve Bruce is hoping to make Liverpool keeper Scott Carson his first signing, and guarantee him first team football which he is unlikely to get at Liverpool. Bruce is hoping to seal a 1 year loan deal in the next week.

=v1=

Everton to sign Kevin Nolan from Bolton for 5m

I have it on good authority that Nottingham Forest will firstly try and sign Stephen Clemence and Neil Danns from Birmingham. If these are not availible they will offer Neil Lennon a player/ coach contract. They will make an attempt to sign L

Arsenal are considering a serious £9 million move for England striker Michael Owen following Thierry Henry's inevitable exit this summer.

(and just to verify, this is a post from the origninal poster =v1= and not the one who endlessly posts Reading rumours)

=v1=

. Listen carefully al Gooner fans. I live in the US and the rumours spReading around here is about Dein. I have it on good intention that Dein is to return to Arsenal this summer with Kroenke and take over the club. Wenger to stay and the addition of several high value players. no news as to whom. The reason? The present board do not want to sell to an American but they know if they do not, Wenger will go next year as will Henr and Fabregas etc. NO it is not for the interests of Arsenal they are selling. They know another poor season (by Arsenal accounts) and the value of the club will go down. Money talks. Welcome back Dein!

Gareth Southgate is hoping to make an audicous swoop for Cruzerio star Kerlon, renown for the "Seal Dribble". Kerlon could arrive at Teeside this summer along with imminent arrival, Jeremie Alliadiere. However in reality, Southgate is set to miss out on the Brazilian star due to interest in Italy from the Big 3 of Juventus, Inter and AC Milan.

=v1=

Liverpool will sign the following players:

MICHAEL OWEN: He is not Rafa's first choice striker however the others seem to pricey. Eto'o will only come for an offer of 35mil+ Tevez is not a poacher. Torres is not a poacher. Charlton will only sell Bent for 18mil. Newcastle want Bellamy and Rafa values him at 9mil. Owen's buy–out Clause is 9mil and so Rafa will allow a staight swap.

ALEXANDRE PATO: Rafa knows that Owen is injury prone and so wants to sign a young player with a lot of potential. Pato wants to join Liverpool due to the fellow Brazilians–Aurelio and Lucas. He will have time to settle in so don't expect him to play much unless there are injuries (owen. )

FLORENT MALOUDA: Malouda will compete with Kewell on the left. For 10mil, Rafa feels it will be a really could deal. He us pacey, powerful and has got a good shot. Rafa values Kewell and Malouda similarly–he really rates Kewell so Malouda will have to do well to get into the team. Chelsea will not sign him as Malouda knows Mourinho will play the diamond formation and has already got Cole and wright–Philips as wide players. Robben is also going to sign a 5 yeaar contract.

I know these three are top targets but I don't know Rafa's other top targets. He is targeting a centre–back but his top targets are unknown. Milito is up there but Rafa is unwilling to pay 13mil for a 27–year old defender. Kaladze is a more realistic option. He will only cost 4–5mil and can also play as a more defensive LB to Riise and Aurelio.

These will be the only major signings. A RM will only be signed if a good deal can be struck. Rafa is in talks with Figo.

Alan smith, Wes Brown and John o`shea seems unlikely but Roy Keane has supposevly made a 20 million bid I didn't beleive it either but this is a rumour site not a fact site

Arsenal striker Jose Antonio Reyes will clinch an £8.5 million move to Sevilla this summer. Reyes left the Spaniards in January 2004 but after two seasons in North London, decided he wanted a return to his homeland. He has spent the past year on loan at Real Madrid but the champions elect aren't interested in signing him permanently, while Atletico Madrid are not willing to sacrifice Fernando Torres as any potential part exchange. Former club Sevilla, however, are very interested in Reyes and for less than what they sold him for as well. Lyon midfielder Florent Malouda sounds as though he will be the man to replace the Spain international, as well as Julio Baptista who has been sent back to the Bernabeu after a largely unsuccessful loan spell.

Shola ameobi or Steven Carr will not sign for Sunderland as they r hated by the fans expect Dave Nugent liam ridwell and mushtak akram to be announced at a press confrense next week also Sunderland looked well 2 sign forlan until Liverpool joined the race even thou forlan said he owes Roy Keane a favour

United will not sign a 20–25mil striker instead they will go for McCarthy offering 5mil+smith. Arsenal will sign Rio Mavuba to replace Gilberto. Liverpool will swoop for SWP and Tevez. Big Sam will follow up the signing of Viduka with Ben Haim, Rozenhal, Barton and Baines. Chelsea will go for Queresma after letting SWP go. Aston Villa will sign Reo Cocker. In Scotland Celtic will sign Appiah, Naismith, Makaay, and Steven Whittaker.

ARSENAL NEWS

To set a few things straight first, Arsenal were never in the running for Ribery. We haven't had an out–n–out winger since Overmars so he just didn't fit the bill. The left of midfield is the area Wenger is looking at, Babel looks the most likely although it all depends on the following. Owen is a serious option after Aliadiere and Baptista's departures. He has a release Clause of £10 million if a top 4 club comes in and Wenger sees him as the poacher that can convert some of the numerous chances we create every game. This would see van Persie being used on the left offering even more of a goal threat like Pires did. Expect to see Ljungberg, Flamini leaving Emirates aswell as Djourou on loan to Birmingham or Sunderland (depend on Evans deal). Traore will be loaned to a Championship team and Bendtner (Fulham, Celtic or Boro) could also leave depending on Owen deal. Rosicky will be deployed on right of mid this season and Naismith from Kilmarnock to arrive after his trial last year went well.

Man United will sign no other big players before the start of the season, David Gill pretty much said so.

SAF however is trying to tie Daniel Alves the Seville full back in a £13 million move at the end of next season. He is seen at United as the perfect replacement for Neville

Players could be set to leave Man United however with Richardson and Saha leading the exodis. Fletcher could also be allowed to leave but is rated at £6mill by SAF and there is not many teams willing to pay that

Stoke are to re–sign former players in the name of Nicky Mohan and Steven Tweed to strengthen the back four. Also expect bids for Simon Stainrod and O Neil Donaldson. Steve Foley and Paul Holsgrove will add numbers to the midfield. The oracle strikes again!

Liverpool are buying goran pandev from Lazio for 9 million pounds

if u don't believe me then you are going to be shocked

Arsenal will sign 3 players other the summer:

fabianski (done deal)

Malouda (Lyon)

barkari sagna (Auxerre)

Fabio quagliarella (sampdoria)

players leaving will be:

alliadiare (middlesbourgh)

djourou (loan to Birmingham)

Flamini and lunjberg (Juventus)

merida (loan to Atletico Madrid)

!

Newcastle are on alert at the availability of Tuncay Sunli of Fenerbache. Real Madrid and Arsenal are both keen on the Turkish player and Allardye is hoping that Emre can persuade the midfielder to make a move to the Premiership.

RANGERS FANS. remember Michael Mols? Well reports over here in Oz say that he will be in Perth on Wednesday with his family to put pen to paper on a deal to see him see out the rest of his playing days with Perth Glory.

Manchester United have tabled an offer to Barcelona striker Eidur GudJohnsen.

Also interest from Premiership rivals, including West Ham United.

Fenerbahce, which have already swooped for Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos, are also in the hunt.

Villa Rumour

Expect NRC to sign after the u21's championship. SWP and definitelye to sign within the first week of the transfer window opening, with both snejider and De Jong other options. expect one of those dutch stars to sign. Hearts will finally accept villa's bid for gordon expect that to be aroung 6 million plus add–ons. antunes, mcshane, kightly and bruno Alves to sign to add more depth to an already small squad. expect a little known striker to sign to provide cover.

Darlington have not offerd a new contract to young goal keeper Sam Russel due to financial problems. Rochdale, Hartlepool, Leeds and Scunthorpe have all been credited with an interest. Also, Mark Proctor is also known to be a keen admirer

Benitez is not on holiday in Spain, he has just returned from Bermuda, I was sat behind him.

Why lie? Some people have far too active imaginations.

Robbie Fowler may sign for Wigan to keep him close to home on a pay as you play deal, although Roy Keane is still interested.

Chelsea are weighing up a bid for Andrea Barzagli to support John Terry in the backline next season.
