LFC – FACT NOT FICTION

LFC will not be having any major signings anytime soon– best case would be in Jan as by the time the club is sold and funds released the World Cup will have started and it is very rare for any big signings to be done prior to the World Cup ( Values usually increase for the big players during the tournment ).
If Rafa ( which I would love to see gone ) had any sign of funds why in God's earth would he have already just signed 2 free transfers and 1 player for 1.7m. ( he spent a lot more before on crap players when he didn't seem to have any money ).
Look forward to more of the same as he will try to bulid from mostly english , cheap players hoping to generate money in the future.

TrueRed73 – fingers crossed as we are in for a rocky ride !!!

Gallas will not be joining Everton my source is genuine, and Beckford is on a free so would not cost £4.5 m.

EDITOR..i think this is his dream team

I have just received news from my source that the Syrian/Arab interest and the Chinese interest in LFC is just a way for them to get free publicity. Neither are in the running. I have confirmed news that the person who is closest to a deal for the club is one of the Ambani brothers from India (a company called Reliance). Not sure which brother as my source could not disclose. Due diligence was completed last week. He said an announcement will be made before the World Cup kicks off.

My nephew is the head greenkeeper at loch lomond golf course and is a good friend of the manager of the course. various spl managers and players pass through the doors daily. i have it on good authority that the celtic job will go to neil lennon with giovanni trappatoni mentoring him in a co–manager arrangement. trappatoni will be funded by majority shareholder dermott desmond. some of the signing targets are said to include: ross mccormack, chris eagles and a swoop to bring kevin kyle along the m77 from kilmarnock. also look out for one box office italian signing from trappatoni which will also be more than likely funded by desmond. rangers will need to sell to but new owner or not. the hierarchy have begun negotiations to bring chris maguire from aberdeen and will also be entering the bidding for dundee united centre back garry kenneth when danny wilson leaves for anfield. other possible targets also include jon daly, jim obrien and laryea kingston. dele adebola is top of dundee uniteds summer wishlist and other europa league qaulifiers hibs will be looking to strengthen with swoops for demarcus beasley of rangers and nacho novo. kilmarnock will be looking to restructure after narrowly avoiding the drop. they will look down a division with 2 deals all but complete for particks paul cairney and ayr uniteds ryan borris. stmirren will also tie up summer deals for burton obrien, colin nish, jose quitongo and lee hughes of oldham athletic.

To all the clowns out there saying beckford is going anywhere for 4 plus mill is rubbish as he is a free transfer at the end of the season. other people saying dorrans is going anywhere for figures below 4mill is also rubbish its going to take a large offer in the regions of 10–12mill, allthough ive heard rumours about RDM going to west ham?

To the guy who said the following:

To the silly Manchester city guy who posted that city have approached Liverpool informally about 2 players an LFC were interested, how is that informal ?? It isn't a true story but, surely it's formal if it's through te club .
now on to some true things

Please don't resort to name calling, calling someone "silly" and then claiming to know about top level financial discussions between a consortium and a bank makes you look – well "silly" to be honest.

It is 100% possible for a club to make an "informal" approach for a player, when an offer is made official it is faxed to the selling club, with terms and conditions of the offer etc.. a phone call between owners / directors / chairmen is not official it's just a sounding out of possibilities etc..

I'm not claiming this rumour is 100%, it's only what I picked up from various places so you can either believe it or not (I kind of think that you won't) but my intentions are just to share a rumour on a rumour website and not spout "true things" as if I am someone who knows when in fact I dont.. There is a common misconception on the internet that if you put words like "fact" or "true" in a sentence then it automatically becomes true!

I hope Liverpool keep their top players and even find a buyer and build on their current squad, football should be played on the pitch and not in the boardroom!

If you believe all the Liverpool rumours posted on here by people who 100% know what is going on at the club then it seems that the club is being bought by a consortium of 1 man (who is of Arabic/Chinese/Russian/South African decent) who will give Rafa (who has already been sacked) an unlimited amount of cash which is not more than £25m to spend.. Confused? You should be..

To the person looking for Barcelona rumours I have heard they are going to sell Thierry Henry to New York Red Bulls and Abidal to Juventus, I have heard they are going to try take 2 Arsenal players to the Nou Camp namely Gael Clichy and Andrey Arshavin, Barca will not be bringing Cesc Fabregas in until next year, they are also now leading the race to sign Santos wonderkid Neymar.Despite a dissmal season Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be leaving the Nou camp, this is all I have for the minute.

Gerrard does not want to leave his beloved LFC but will leave only if the club requires the money, this he will do not because he wants to but because he but his desire to help the club.
Torres is 60% to sign for Barca a lot however depends on whether or not the club changes hands and the right investors come in.

OK LFC news just in:–

Rafa will be offered an exit deal tomorrow (Wednesday). The deal will be to leave immediately and receive £6m in staged compensation payments.

Part of the exit deal will be Rafa agreeing not to slag the club off, until after a new owner in in place.

If Rafa doesn't take the offer, he may well be sacked. This will not happen tomorrow. I have no idea if Rafa will accept the offer because I'm not him.

He is already aware of the deal, tomorrow is the 'official' proposal. Rafa will leave the club within 10 days from the last game of the season.

I have no news on the take over other than I hope it happens soon and is to fit and proper custodians of our great club.

11 May 2010 19:12:05
I posted the rumour last time also bt don't know that why it wasnt posted Any ways telling the same thing now in summary.

GK:
either of these:
1)Ochoa:great youngster, has a great future
2)Akinfeev: less chances as he would be signed by chelsea due to Roman Abramovich influence at CSKA
3)LLoris:could be in with 5 mil plus Anderson.

DEFENDER:
1)SMALLING: signed for 10 million
2)Maicon: Might be signed bt very slight possibilities.. Would come if Mourinho comes after a year or so

MID–FIELD:
2 mid–fielders will be signed
1 out of these 3 will signed
James Milner for 25 million euro or Luka Modric for 25 to 30 million euro or Gourcuff for the same price tag..

the other one will be eithe David Silva at 27 million euro or Angel Di Maria at approx 30 to 35 million euro

STIKER:
either one will sign:
1)Fabiano: 18 million euro
2)David Villa: 25 to 30 million euro
3)Benzema: 35 Million euro but his wage demand of 200,000 Euro are very high
4)Dzeko: An outside chances for him are also possible..

Note:Acoording to me Maicon, Milner/Gourcuff and Benzema should be signed at low wages, if does not agree than Fabiano..

The latest Chinese link with the takeover at LFC is a no–go as the chap is only worth about $150m. So unless there is a consortium involved or it is a smokescreen for the Chinese Wall Street broker I think this is a non–starter. As it stands the Syrians, Dubai (The Sheikh) and the Chinese are the most credible stories. The difficulty is not the price as the media is suggesting but due diligence by LFC on the protracted buyers' plans. Broughton wants to be sure that the the new owners will start the building work asap as well as provide a decent wedge for squad strengthening. The takeover will happen sooner rather than later as Liverpool FC are haemorraginig money daily.

Rafa has submitted his "wish" list for buys and sales as follows without regard for his budget:

IN one of each:
Central Defence: Kjaer (£12m), Cahill (£12m), Shawcross (£12m)
Left Back: Taiwo (£12m), Vargas (£12m), Cissokho (£9m)
Left Wing: Turan (£12m), Mata (£18m), Silva (£25m), Joe Cole (FREE)
Midfield: Martinez (£15m), Banega (£10m)
Strikers: Aguero (£35m), Forlan (£18m), Crouch (£12m)

OUT (£55m raised):
Benayoun (£7m), El Zahr (£1m), Degen (£1m), Skrtel (£8m), Aurelio (FREE), Babel (£8m), Cavalieri (£4m), San Jose (£2m), Aquilani (£15m), Riera (£7m), Plessis (£2m) and Itandje (FREE).

It all depends on the timing of the takeover and whether the new owners want Rafa in charge.

Man Utd News:

Lets be sensible if we can, Sir Alex has said that he'll sign 1 maybe 2 more so lets not get silly with ten 25M+ signings it ain't gonna happen this ain't football manager. lets look at the team and whats happened this year, we're unlucky in europe and took chelsea to the last game of the season and we've bled in several youngster(Evans, Gibson, Rafael) next season we'll be bleeding through several more(Fabio, Smalling, Macheda). So we'll just be getting rid of the dead wood and tweak here and there and we'll be in great shape. Carrick will be moving on after a couple of bad performances and not impossing himself enough in the important games(Bayern Munich), Anderson will be given another year to prove himself. Sir Alex has faith in Foster but he may decide to leave to get first team football, and Berbatov's future is also in the balance Sir Alex hasn't been impressed with his performances and he'll be sold if an acceptable offer is received but other than that expect him to be at Old Trafford. So this summer expect to see an attacking midfielder and a striker but who depends on weather Berbatov leaves.

So expect to see one of:

Modric
Milner
Hamsik
Gourcuff
Van Der Vaart

fee will be between 12–25M

don't expect to see a new winger we have Valencia Park Obertan and Nani who this year is in the top 10 for assist in the prem so i think its time to get off his back he's a top quality winger and United fans only problem is that he's not Ronaldo.

Kevin Kyranyi will be signed on a free if Berbatov stays if he leaves then one of:

Luis Fabiano or Mirko Vucinic
for between 14–18M

Don't expect a new keeper as VDS is staying another year and will be first choice and a top keeper will not be happy to be second choice. if Foster leaves then Kasper Schmeicheal will sign on a free to fight it out with Tomaz kusczcak or Ben Amos will be premoted. A keeper maybe signed in January depending on the situation at the time.

11 May 2010 18:37:17
So wenger has said a number of times "we will not buy more than 3 players, probably 2" the important word here? BUY. this means he will BUY 2/3 players and others will arrive on free. the 2 singings will be joe hart or sebastian frey along with diakhte, sakho, subotic(unlikely), zapata or hangeland(unlikely)
the 3rd (which is a possibility not a certainty) will be in the DM department, probably nzonzi, melo, parker or yaya(unlikely)
the freebees will be chamakh(completed today, signed tomorrow, medical june). wenger will also go for guti, j. cole and a youngster named jojo benamon (don't ask me but he sounds quite cool)
30m is available, GK will cost 10m, defender up to 12m =22m
5m spent on contracts for freebees(costs up to 3m to create a contract) i predict chamakh(obviously) and j. cole
anyway 3m is remaining, if wenger does want a DM it will cost around 10m, therefore traore(3m) simpson(2m) and almunia(2m) will be sold.
if a DM is not wanted, expect a cheeky pre deal to be agreed with lille for hazard – this would be 3m paid to them this summer with a further 15m paid in jan or next summer on an agreement that they would not sell to anyone else.
summary – i expect frey(10m) sakho(10m) nzonzi(7m) chamakh(free) j. cole(free) and 3m to lille for the pre deal for hazard.

Liverpool have today offered Lucas plus £4million in a cash plus player deal to Valencia and the player they want in exchange is not David Villa, David Silva, Juan Mata or even Nikola Zigic as we have all heard these names linked on numerous occasions, it is for a promising young Argentine midfielder called Ever Banega{valued at £12million} who is apparently unhappy in Valencia and would be open to a move. Rafael Benitez had been looking towards Javi Martinez of Athletic Bilbao but with the club now looking for around £18million for the spanish youngster he has decided to look elsewhere. If Ever Banega does move to Liverpool he will be joining an increasingly strong Argentine contingent at Anfield with fellow internationals Emiliano Insua, Maxi Rodriguez, Javier Mascherano and Gerardo Bruna.

I am an Exeter fan living in Chudleigh, I was speaking to David James the other day whilst walking the dogs and he is possibly on his way to Bristol City, he lives in Chudleigh which is around 88 miles from Bristol, he has spoken to Coppell already and will speak again after the WC finals.

It looks like I caused a right storm posting the Torres and Gerrard to MCFC rumour! Sorry but it's only what's going about on various forums etc..

As a city fan I don't want either of them to be honest, Gerrard is Liverpool through and through and he comes with personal life "baggage" and Torres looks like his knees are shot?

Anyway, as for why would Liverpool strengthen a prem team by selling them 2 players – money.. Simples.

The transfers probably won't happen but I think that City are testing the waters to see if the money troubles at Liverpool can make things happen.

Which would you rather see – 2 players sold and still have a club or the banks pull the plug and Liverpool "do a Portsmouth"? and don't think that the banks wouldn't do it, history and trophies mean nothing in the world of banking. (presuming your club isn't sold and the debts wiped out of course)

I really hope the mess at Liverpool is sorted out, Liverpool and City fans have never really got on but no real football fan wants to see a team go down the tubes!

Another rumour (that I had forgotten about) was doing the rounds in January.. Apparently City's owners had found a big name signing to replace Robinho but the player put off the deal at the last minute to stay at his current club until the end of the season.. Any guesses at who? (and no I don't think it's a Liverpool player!)

Hibs Rumours

The guy nearly got things right about Hibs : Stokes – he's going to take the yellow brick road (also known as the M8) to one of the great unwashed Old Firm replacing either Keane or Boyd.
O'Connor is a done deal and will team up with Riordan again
Keogh apparently has impressed Hibs scouts and has been targetted over the last month, and they tell me he's a good lad in the dressing room.
But Lee Wallace ?. I don't think so and they won't get him for £1.2m anyway.
There was a rumour about Sproule coming back, but I don't know if Hartley would want to come back anyway as he's pretty much a regular down at Bristol.
Yeah, and the 2 Moroccans will go, if only because they can't play during the month of Ramadan, so the manager will have to bring in a playmaker to replace Zemamma ( although he's injured just now and it might be difficult to move him on ).
The big goalkeeper will have to go along with Stevenson ( probably to Aberdeen ) Cregg to Hamilton / Killie, and Arfield isn't good enough or big enough for Hibs

Arsenal Signings

Arsenal are definitely getting Marouane Chamakh and it looks like they will be getting Yaya Toure. He has always been a big fan of Arsenal. He doesn't really feature for the Barcelona squad and he has said in the past he would move to Arsenal. There was lots of talk about this move last year and now Wenger knows he needs the experience. Yaya said he wants it sorted before the summer so that means he's likely to move and his preferred destination is Arsenal. The Arsenal squad would be a lot better with just these 2 signings.

Although, i think we need to buy a good goalkeeper such as Joe Hart or Rene Adler and maybe a centre back just incase Campbell or Gallas got injured. I think Sol Campbell has done a fantastic job. He wins everything, no one gets past him, he's been solid. He's the heart of the Arsenal defence.

Why don't you all start to grow up and stop posting rumours that are not true. Why would Torres leave Liverpool for a team also not competing in C.L (MCFC). Also, gerrard as more or less decided to go to madrid with Jose taking over from Pellagrino. It does look like Rafa is staying for at least one more season unless the new buyers want someone else. According to a close contact, we are only looking at weeks rather than months for a buyer to be confirmed.

A few City stories from my mate( ex pro – lower leagues, now a scout, not for City though)
In
Torres– bid has been/will be placed for a large amount. Basically up to the player now as Liverpool will accept
Gerrard – As above but highly unlikely to happen
Ashley Young is a big target of Mancini as is Milner but the latter is very unlikely
Most other targets are from abroad – Balotelli, Higuain, Maicon Di Maria etc.
Suprise signings will be players from Italy/Spain that are up and coming youngsters and pretty much unknowns
Out
SWP, Superman and Bellamy all staying, Onuoha, RSC, Garrido going
And to my fellow city fan who posted

"A lot has been said on here about various City players leaving (Hart, Wright–Phillips, Richards etc) but you need to stop and look at those names. They are ENGLISH internationals (okay Hart isn't yet) "

Sorry mate but Joe is an England International ( v Trinidad 1/6/08

To the guy who wrote :
Now before all the Liverpool fans turn into keyboard warriors, just think about it for a minute, your club is financially screwed at the moment, Torres has been played when he should have been rested and Gerrard hasn't been himself all season so if you can take £70m – £100m from MCFC's owners to ease your finances AND rebuild then it's not exactly a bad thing?
I'm a MCFC fan and even I can see that this deal would be better for you than us! Giving our prem rivals £100m to play with isn't what I would do but what do I know?

So by giving Liverpool's prem rivals our best two players is going to be better for Liverpool than Man City. I really don't see that at all as Gerrard and Torres are on the same wavelength and everyone knows a working partnership is worth its weight in Gold. Toshack – Keegan, Shearer – Sutton, Cole – Yorke etc etc. Plus we are in debt and all the money would not be used to re–build it would be used to line Americans pockets.

Although I can possibly see a big name player being sold and our two most saleable assests are Gerrard and Torres. However why would so many good young talents be signing and looking at Liverpool without our major stars here to look up to? We either have something in the pipeline or the main stars are staying put. Sadly the yanks are bleeding our club dry even though they sold their respective NFL and NHL teams, but this goes to show they sell when they have made enough return on their investment. There management has been a total disaster too just look at Tom Hicks jnr and his email reply to a Liverpool fan, their lack of communication between each other as they publicy fell out or the attempt to recruit Klinsmann.

I can see why Benitez has been blasted in the press but the players have got to be blamed too. Tactics are only good if the players stick to them. Dont get me wrong Benitez has been wrong on more than one occasion but a mix of a bad start, no proper backup for Torres, no one to replace Alonso and key players being injured has cost us..but look what we did with all that bad luck and misguidance we still finished above Everton and still finished in Europe. Its hard to take when we did so well last year but this is Liverpool and we have been here before and survived we wrote the book and copy righted the t–shirt.

For players coming in the i am hoping for :

Joe Cole on a Free
Mata or Turan – possible part ex with Babel or Benayoun
Jovanovic – Already completed
Taiwo – Only a possibility due to the lack of funds available.
Dida – Free agent in the summer

Then a few more younger signings to complete the youth ranks.

Doyley

Although Lennon has not officially been given the Celtic job he has been looking at a number of players to join and a list of those he feels have to leave. Players he is interested in are Davis and Shorey from Villa, both probably loan deals. Hooper from Scthorpe, Wallace of Hearts, O'Conner and McFadden from Birmingham, McCormack, Sendersos from Arsenal and a Lubo type player such as a Riquelme. He would also prefer to keep a hold of Kamara and N'Guemo if possible.
Keane will not be returning whoever the manager is and Lenny doesn't rate Braafheid. He is though keen to keep his star men, of Boruc, Brown and McGeady. Players allowed to leave Parkhead will be, Naylor, McCourt, McManus, Samaras, Huchison, Ferry, Mizuno and perhaps a few others depending who arrives.

Over at the other side of Glasgow, if Ellis does take over Rangers he will keep Walter Smith and allow him to keep most of the money he receives from some of the sales of his big stars. The good money says Bougherra will be leaving for 5m+ and Boyd will reduce the wage bill. Wilson also looks on his way to Liverpool for around 2m+. McGregor or Davis may also leave but only if a very good offer does come in for them.
Smith knows what hes doing so will scoure the SPL for most of his targets. Goodwillie for around 1.5m is a top target, Webster will be like a new signing returning from Utd and Craig Conway is being looked at as a replacement for the departing Novo. Leigh Griffiths from Dundee is also a potential target for around 1m. Stokes, Bamba, Dorman, Arfield are all possibilities.

Lots of stuff coming out today (11th) about interested parties being in serious talks with Broughton about buying the club. – Robert Snodgrass – 500K (Huddersfield)
– Casper Ankergren – RETIRING
– Neil Kilkenny – 300K (Middlesborough)

come mate do you even watch football?? dorrans for 2 million?? after the season he has had and the fact that west ham have already bid 4 million and seen it get rejected there is noway that's happening! its going to take big money from a club to take dorrans anywhere, the west brom fans say hes the best midfielder at the club since bryan robson and he went for a british record fee back in the day! 8–12 million is a likely fee should he go!

plus with everton, villa linked with beckford then west brom is an unlikely destination as well!!

charlie adam will cost more than 2 million also due to the season he has had! especially if blackpool got promotion!

other rumours,

milner and possibly dzeko to sign for man united.

Gooner in Reality
Gallas and Silvestre look like theyr off leaving Arsenal with only 3 centre backs in Djourou, Vermaelen and Gallas. I expect Wenger to only sign 1 new centre back and will also tell us that having Djourou back next season is like another signing. trust me that's how Wenger thinks. I expect to see one of Bartley or Nordveit make some Carling Cup appearances also.
No players in attack will come. centre midfield we now have Fabregas, Denilson, Diaby, Rosicky, Lansbury (promoted), Ramsey and Song. that's 7 players already fighting for 3 spots. 8 players if u include Nasri who I personally feel shoud play in the middle next to Fabregas. would be a partnership as good Xavi and Iniesta. no additions needed.
players in attack we have our wide boys Arshavin, Wilshere (no loan), Walcott, Nasri, Eboue (also RB cover), Vela. 6 players fighting for 2 spots. no additions needed.
Centre forwards we have Van Persie (expect to see a few games with him on the right next season like he does for Holland, when Chamakh starts), Chamakh, Bendtner and Eduardo.4 players for 1 spot. no additions needed.
the keeper decision i feel hasnt been decided yet.
so in summary Wenger will bring only 1 more player after chamakh which is a defender. 2 signings in total unless Wenger buys a new keeper to make it 3. Arsenal will be making only small changes trust me. its the Arsene way.
Wozza the realist

Arsenal News

Ok so the silly season is here once again, so far we've been linked with anyone who can kick a ball, but if you look realistically at who's really available then it narrows the search:

From the following lists I'd expect bids for one of each, maybe 2 depending on who leaves.

Goalkeepers:
Joe Hart/Rob Green/Hugo Lorris/Gigi Buffon/Igor Akinfeev/Manuel Neurer.

1. Hart will be over priced although he's had a great season, and if he's not signed before the world cup his price will be astronomical if he plays well.

2. Green will probably be the one, as Zola's gone, there is an air of uncertainty at Upton park, and he knows it's his last chance to play for one of the big clubs..this is the signing I'd expect to see happen.

3. Lorris, ok so he's French, and has had an exceptional season, but again a price tag of 12m should scare wenger enough into not bidding.

4. Buffon, if you read all the tabloids he's already signed for us, rubbish, this guy if he does come to England will be playing on the blue half of Manchester, which could see Hart move on , or even Given. We'll never see him in an arsenal jersey. FACT!

5. Akinfeev, UTD bound.

6. Neurer, recently injured so no bid will be made.

So with all that in mind, I'd say Green or Hart.

Defenders:
Neven Subotic/Mamadou Sakho/Gary Cahill/Brede Hangland/Greg Van Der Weil/Matthew Upson.

1. Subotic will be the one all the big boys fight it out for this summer, he's had another great season in Germany and with reports of inter, barca and Madrid already about to bid, we can forget about him ever showing up at the grove. Add to that that he's totally over priced, there are reports of 25 to 30 million in some circles.
2. Sakho, now this guy fits the bill, he's young quick, captain of his team, and French, him and the verminator would make some partnership, touted at 8 million, we paid 10 for Vermaelen, so I'd expect this guy to be with us before the WC kicks off.
3. Cahill, English, probably in the WC squad, so he won't be signing for us, plus with a price tag of 20 million, wenger will never spend that, plus he's not even that good.
4. Hangeland, this is the guy wenger wanted before he bought Vermaelen, so don't be surprised to see another bid for him, whether its successful is anyone's guess.
5. Ven Der Weil, again anyone's guess, he'll only be bought if we sell either Eboue or Sagna.
6. Upson, with West Ham in the ste they're in, this could happen, he apparently wants another crack at a big club, as he has said himself he still has to prove himself, whether its arsenal or somewhere else, we'll find out soon enough.

To summarise then, we might just buy 2 defenders, who knows, and if we do i hope its Sakho and Hangeland.

Midfielders:
Scott Parker/Fillipe Melo/Yaya Toure/Joe Cole/Shaun Wright Phillips/Eden Hazard/ArdaTuran/Yohann Cabaye.

1. Parker, the press this week has been speculating that with Zola's immanent exit, that most of the big names would jump ship, and this may be the case, and he'd be an excellent buy, at 29 he's hitting his peak, and this would probably be the best time to buy him. Here's hoping, he'd add the much needed steel thought the midfield.
2. Melo, this one has been running its course for the last 3 seasons, i think at this stage if wenger really wanted him, he'd have gone out and got him, so don't expect this to happen, a pipe dream. Excellent player though.
3. Toure, again this one has done the rounds for a while, wenger had him on trial and turned him down or was it his passport or something like that who cares, if he's not good enough for Barcelona, then he can take a hike.
4. Cole, a boyhood Arsenal fan, and on a free, this is the one signing i hope happens, we haven't had a proper winger since Pires; get your cheque book out Arsene. Make this happen.
5. Wright–Phillips, a bid of 5 million will apparently see him at the emirates next year, for that money I'd run to Manchester with the cheque, would be a good buy, always reliable and you know what you're going to get from him, and with his father watching.
6. Hazard, the Marque signing of the season, this is a done deal from all you read, and it better be, cause this guy is going to be something special, get him now before the mancs(blue and red) and the Russian mafia down the road do.
7. Turan, Liverpool bound..yeah right..he's really going to go to the scousers after the season they've had, he'll be playing for Juventus next season watch this space.
8. Cabaye, now this is the holding midfielder we need, he small, has exceptional skill can score and is as tough as nails, plus he's French so moving to London shouldn't prove a problem with the language..specially at arsenal.

So from the 8 above I'd expect to see Hazard and Cabaye and they both play for Lille, but i'd rather see Cole and Parker..but who am i to argue, as long as he buys someone.

And finally onto the Forwards

Strikers:
Louis Suarez/Kevin Doyle/Mario Balotelli/Marouane Chamackh/Klaus Jan Huntelaar/

1. Suarez, this guy is going to sell for probably 30 million after the world cup, so that's us out of the running, still we can dream. Absolute class act.
2. Doyle, simply put not good enough and with Bentdner we've enough height and heading ability..i know i know, but he'll get better i promise.
3. Balotelli, super Mario, is the type of player we need, full of speed, confidence and arrogance, can't understand why he doesn't get on with Jose?, 18 million should clinch it, worth a punt.
4. Chamackh, in the bag. Done deal, sorted..etc
5. Huntelaar, he'll stay at Milan or probably end up playing for Ajax if Suarez is transferred, still if he's available at a small price don't be surprised to see him in the red and white next year.

Finished at last, phew, only hope this gets posted, so Chamackh in the bag and maybe one more if Eduardo leaves, possibly Ballotelli.

But in the end who knowsArsene Knows that's who.

The DANNY WELBECK loan to FULHAM has just taken a new turn.

A number of PREMIERSHIP and 1 CHAMPIONSHIP club have asked for permission from MAN UTD to talk to the striker about a season long loan deal to their clubs.

DANNY has already dimissed a return to PNE as his relationship with the manager had become strained and PNE could not afford to pay the wages other teams are now offering.

BLACKBURN and WOLVES have both requested permission to talk to Danny as well as NEWCASTLE offering him a FULL PREMIERSHIP WAGE for the year long loan.

Liverpool plan to buy Banega from Valencia, Wilson from Rangers, and Karim Aït–Fana and Franck Tabanou from Montpellier and Toulouse– seen as the best 2 youngsters in France. Total of £15m for the lot– £6m Banega, £3m Wilson, and £3m each for the French kids. All fit with buy young and cheap policy the club will adopt until any takeover.

Any other purchases funded by sales, but don't expect much action.

11 May 2010 13:34:56
It's funny when most fans said that Liverpool and Man U will buy so many players that will cost more than 25m and above for a player. Both club have huge debts and there is no way that they will buy one player for that price. Having Yanks as owners(more to business minded than love for the club) will not invest such a huge transfer money for both managers. FACT!.

NANI & ANDERSON 32 MILLION,
CARRICK 18 MILLION,
HARGREAVES 17 MILLION,
BERBATOV 30.75 MILLION,
VALENCIA 16 MILLION

DON'T BE A FOOL UNITED WILL BUY PLAYERS, AFTER ALL THEY WERE IN DEBT WHEN THE GLAZER'S BOUGHT THE ABOVE!

TWO GOOD SIGNINGS WILL BE MADE TO ADD TO SMALLING, DODO, HERNENDEZ & VERMIJL! MY PREDICTIONS ARE DE GEA PLUS EITHER MODRIC OR MILNER!

THERE WILL BE SOME ACADEMY PLAYERS ADDED! HARGREAVES WILL BE BACK FULLY FIT AND THAT IS LIKE A SIGNING IN ITSELF, MY SOURCE AS ALSO TOLD ME HARGREAVES HAS TURNED DOWN THE CHANCE TO GO TO THE WORLD CUP AS HE WANTS TO BE FRESH FOR THE UNITED SEASON OPENER!

Some very interesting stuff coming from various sources about a deal involving 2 Liverpool players to MCFC.

From what I understand MCFC have approached Liverpool (informally) about signing both Torres and Gerrard!

Liverpool (because of their current debt problem) have been very open to the idea although there is a lot of stuff that needs to happen (the players need to agree, wages, terms etc) and it may not happen at all..

Other MCFC rumours:

A lot has been said on here about various City players leaving (Hart, Wright–Phillips, Richards etc) but you need to stop and look at those names.. They are ENGLISH internationals (okay Hart isn't yet) and ENGLISH internationals will be highly sort after as the 6+5 rule comes in and teams have to field homegrown players. There is no way on earth that any prem manager is going to get rid of the majority of his homegrown / english players and replace them with foreign players and be left with a team that doesn't qualify under the 6+5 rule.

The value of English players is going to sky rocket very soon in the prem!

Big news that will be revealed soon enough is that Clichy is off to Barca. The negotiations will no doubt involve Yaya but AW is not as keen as his agent :P

AW will sign Sakho and Melo and is interested in Wright–Phillips and Cole to bolster the squad.

Gallas has 2 weeks to decide. If he leaves for Roma (not everton as i've heard people suggest) AW will need to make advances for another centre back which will be Upson or Cahill. Keepers aren't changing, we will just have to hope that Arsene is right about Fabianski!

Following yesterdays reports that Jeff Bonser was stepping down as Walsall chairman, I now have more reports that he has contacted ex–aston villa chairman, and close friend Doug Ellis. Dougie has been seen at Walsall games since he left his post at Aston Villa.

He will inject £4 Million into the Walsall squad, Hutchings will be given his marching orders and Paul Ince will take over as manager.

Following this Troy Deeney will NOT be going anywhere. But only if Doug Ellis does complete his takeover in 11 days.

MUFC – GK NEWS

Van der Sar will play one final season at OT 2010/11 before retiring and taking a coaching role back in Holland. Ben Foster will indeed be sold, before the world cup, to Birmingham City although if Rob Green leaves the Hammers, don't be surprised to see them make a bid. Fee will be £5–6million. TK has to make a decision whether he wants to fight for the jersey, as SAF will sign a new keeper this summer.

Rene Adler, of Bayer Leverkusen. Leverkusen are sniffing around Zoran Tosic, and SAF wants to offer £7million plus the Serbian winger to get his man.

The reasons behind Rafa Benitez' agent saying that Benitez wishes to stay at Liverpool are simply that other opportunities are not available to him, and that he wishes to protect his position regarding any payment he may be entitled to if leaving the club.

Last week Juventus made it absolutely clear that they would not be dictated to and that the contractual terms being requested by Benitez' representatives were entirely unacceptable. Having spoken with a colleague in Italy, I understand that since the tentative offer from Juventus was withdrawn, Quilon has approached both Milanese clubs wishing to open "informal" discussions over potential opportunities should, as expected, Leonardo or Mourinho depart.

Benitez apparent believes that he will be entitled to some, if not all, of the severance payment regardless of the conditions that lead to his departure. There is little doubt that a payment would be due if his contract were terminated by Liverpool – and no doubt that the club will go to all necessary lengths to avoid this happening. Benitez seen to be courting other clubs may be sufficient for Liverpool to perhaps take some action to edge the manger towards the door. What I am thinking of is a Director of Football, or similar, being appointed above Benitez with the justification that the club must protect itself – given the manager is very publicly encouraging interest from other clubs.

Gigi Delneri will almost certainly be the new manager of Juventus. I will also stick my neck out and say that I reckon Inter will have Benitez as their manager by the start of next season.

Sharkey.

Just to let anyone know who may or may not want to post anything about "brazillian wonderkid" Douglas Costa – yes Doncaster fan I am talking to you.

Douglas Costa PLAYED for Gremio of Brazil (so a link with Santos Laguna who are a Mexican club probably wouldn't help in this deal) until January of this year and then moved, very expensively, to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Nothing wrong with your rumour I am just concerned that everyone else who reads this site is laughing at you as much I am.

Berbatov – one more season

Watford striker Heidar Helguson could be forced into army duty

11 May 2010 08:46:06
Wenger said from the very beginning, maximum of 3 players will come in.. those players will not be playing for world cup but must be experienced.

Wenger will sign a striker, def mid, and a defender
Striker – Chamakh
Def mid – Felipe Melo or Capoue Etienne
Def – Diakhate or Sakho or Diakhate

Not more than 3 players will leave.
Gallas and Merida are the most likely ones to leave.
Gallas wouldn't accept lower salary, Merida's talent will be a waste to stay with Arsenal and sit on the bench..

As we know, Arsenal is playing 4–3–3

Front 3 will be:
Van Persie, Chamakh, Arshavin, Eduardo, Walcott, Bendtner, and vela

Mid 3 will be:
Fabregas, Nasri, Rosicky, Diaby, Eboue, Song, Denilson, Ramsey, Wilshere, (Melo or Etienne)

Back 4 will be:
Vermaelen, (Diakhate or Sakho or Subotic), Campbel, Silverstre, Djourou, Nordtveit, Clichy, Traore, Sagna, Gibbs

Some good backups from reserve team:
Sunu, Simpson Watt, Randall, Barazite, Eastmond, Gilbert, Hoyte

As for keeper, Wenger WILL stick with Almunia.. he didn't think Arsenal's problem lies on the keeper, he said it was the defence. And Wenger also said Eduardo is part of the plan, so he will not leave.

I personally think rumours regarding yaya toure, swp, ballack(lol), joe cole, eden hazard are not going to happen.

11 May 2010 08:22:29
News to all fellow gooners! Arsene did not originally want to bring in many more than Chamakh but Gazidis has gone public about Arsenal's funds. They have enough money and Wenger will take this as a hint to look into a few players. They will need to strengthen up the defense. It looks as if he won't buy a keeper, but he has his eyes open. As much as we all would LOVE the likes of a Gigi Buffon or Julio Caesar, it is not looking good. Although Fabianski has told reporters that he knows his mistakes and you can bet he will be trained hard, if he isn't loaned out. Almunia will stay number one if there is no one else coming in as GK. If the defense weakens by way of Gallas and Silvestre(almost certainly) leaving, then he will be keen to find one or two backs.
ALL Arsenal supporters must realize that Wenger is keeping out of the transfer window so they do not become a Portsmouth or Crystal Palace. Most managers care about this very moment, Wenger cares about the club's future as well.

Dream Squad:
GK – Buffon, Fabianski(loan), Szczesny, Mannone –
DF – Sagna, Gallas, (Micah Richards – Man City), Vermaelen, Song, Djourou, Clichy, Eboue, Traore, Gibbs, Campbell, Nordtveit –
MF – Fabregas, Diaby, Nasri, Walcott, Rosicky, Ramsey, Denilson, Merida, Wilshire – ST– Bentdner, Chamakh (free) V. Persie, Arshavin, Eduardo, Vela, Sunu, (Tuncay Sanli – Stoke)

and bring up some of the reserves i.e. Emmanuel–Thomas, Hoyte, Boateng, Botelho, Randall, Freeman, Watt, Coquelin, Eastmond, Murphy, Frimpong. a couple if not a few will be loaned out.

All in all, with Chamakh being free, I don't think a few additions like a player like Buffon and Richards would hurt Arsenal's "sufficient funds" at all. Plus, Tuncay doesn't seem to be happy at Stoke, and it's obvious that he has more talent than Stoke is capable of. I could see all of these players in Arsenal red pretty easily.

Eduardo, Gallas, Sagna, and Vela will stay.

11 May 2010 08:24:42
Chelsea will re–sign Scott Parker in the summer. Impressed with his form, Ancelotti is keen to strengthen his midfield with the World Cup hopeful.

Franck Ribery to sign for Man City in the next few weeks. He's keen to work with Mancini and has been promised the club will win the Premiership in the next two years. Man. United are to sign Landon Donovan this transfer window as well as Benzema, Scott Parker and Steven Taylor. Berbatov, Carrick and Wes Brown will also leave along with Ben Foster, who is desperate for first team football.

11 May 2010 08:42:31
I have recently been informed that Arsenal FC will be moving in to buy a few players this summer, despite what the manager says. They will buy Chamakh (free), Joe Hart (8 million), Gary Cahill (10 million) and Felipe Melo (7 million). There will also be a large sell–out of players. Silvestre (free), Senderos (free), Merida (free), Denilson (6 million), Eduardo (12 million), Almunia (4 million), Fabianski (3 million) and Clichy (20 million). This will leave Arsenal with 20 million to spare, which will be used to bring in either a top class player, or to improve the medical staff at the club.

11 May 2010 08:42:37
West Ham are to go on a mass spending spree in the summer, they will sign Thomas Muller from Bayern Munich, Jermaine Beckford from Leeds, Wes Brown and Ben Forster from Man. United with Scott Parker going the other way, Steven Taylor from Newcastle, Wade Elliot from Burnley and Jamie O'Hara from Spurs. Leaving will be Rob Green to Arsenal, Matthew Upson to Villa, as was said Parker to Man Utd, Faubert to Sevilla, Stanislas to Newcastle, Carlton Cole to Everton while Benny McCarthy, Ilan, Spector and Diamanti will also depart. This is the only information I have at present, I'll keep you posted!

LFC . I work for Barcap and wanted to just set out a few straightner's! I think there are a lot of false lfc postings from rival fans on here! So many fical fans as well. Anyway as I mentioned before, I work for Barcap and have done for years and the set out to sell LFC is top priority. Although only my managers know exactly all the fine details of the selling of the club! What I know and can confirm to everyone is there are currently 8 interested parties in discussions to purchase the club outright. Two US Groups..Three Far East Groups..Two Middle Eastern Groups and One Indian. There is no shortage of taker's and this rubbish that's being banded about by the media that the price required and being discussed is £800 million!!!! is absolute nonsense!! Maybe $7–800million The figures in talks are actually between £400 – 550 million. I don't know the more complex and finer details and it's not in my pay scale to do so. All I can say is Broughton has been appointed to p

After becoming wise to Doncaster Rovers elegant and technical style of football, president of Brazilian side Santos Laguna, has formed an affilliate with the
to the guy that said this
"Championship club in order to create awareness of the Brazillian clubs top youngsters, whilst giving the players experience of playing in a demanding and physical league and working under one of the best man managers in English football. Norwich City News: Fraser Forster will rejoin on a season–long loan. The Geordie stopper is keen to return to City, rather than spend a season on the bench at the Toon. Lambert is expected to make moves for Billy Paynter or Derek Riordan in order to strengthen his strike force. In midfield, the Canaries are keen to re–sign Sammy Clingan. The Northern Ireland international was not keen to leave Carrow Road in the first place and Lambert believes the midfielder will add a new dimension as City look to adapt to Championship life. In defence, Tommy Spurr will join from Sheffield Wednesday as will Gordon Greer from Swindon Town. There will not be mass changes with players going out: McVeigh, Cureton, Tudur–Jones will go and Rose and Elliot's loans will not be made permanent. I know this as my brother works at Colney and has informed me of this. It's going to be an interesting summer fellow Canaries!

Well here we go rumour counter rumour, Arsene has said Almunia will not be the No 1 goalkeeper next season fact, who then Flapianski not a chance Vito might be the choice at a later date if he can continue improvement. We lost points through indescisive goalkeeping Arsene has seen how other top clubs have a clear advantage in this area Cech, Van der Sar and Reina all top class, in will come a top proven goalkeeper you will see Hugo Lloris tops that list right now. And those who say he will halt the progress of the younger goalkeepers well if they are good enough then they will replace him, but they need to show that and ARSENE is always keen to give young players a chance to shine.

Sorry arsenal fans but you guys need to stop dreaming. I am an arsenal fan but AW said that he doesn't want to strengthen the goalie position. He will buy a defender or two and of course Chamakh. Also no more than 2 or 3 will leave the club. The only way that AW will sign more players is if arshavin decides to go. That will make a chain reaction including the signing of hazard to replace him.So..
Ins:
Chamakh – free
a defender
another one possibly
Outs:
Not fabianski
Not almunia
Loans
Dudu, Gilbert, senderos, silvestre(coach), gallas?

All deals will be done by the Emirates Cup guaranteed

To all fellow gooners.. I have it on very very good authoritie that Mr Wenger has NO intention of entering the market for a new keeper. He still feels flapi–anski is going to come good. I'm also told that other than chamnik (?) there will only be 1 other position to be looked at. Not 100% sure of where it is.. So sorry folks, wenger is keeping his wallet and our dreams shut.
