Ground share and move to camelot leisure park for Blackburn and P.N.E.the guy who give me the info is no wind–up merchant, while I agree that fans from both sides would be unhappy, others would take the long term view about finance. If any thing else matters in football it comes along way behind that [these reasons were given too me by the same person, also I will not reply to any more posts, not through being rude, but he told me the plans had been discussed at council level] The ground share would be part financed by camelot, and lancs c c, the clubs no doubt would have monies from sale of land, and Ive no doubt Rovers would want the expected increase in revenue too keep and improve premiership position, while preston would be looking too be promoted to the prem.Look at it this way every other week you visit it another ground, when you are at home its yours, what happens when you are away...nothingincome lost !!!!!!!!!

Ryan babel will be leaving liverpool in january

Got it on good authority that George Burley will be unveiled as the new boss of Sheffield Wednesday this week.

The Football League are very concerned about the details relating to the latest 'takeover' at Notts County. Assuming that a takeover has genuinely taken place, the FL feel that Notts Co are now flouting the 60% salary cap rule as the additional funding is no longer in place and although Peter Trembling passed the fit and proper test, worries over the make up of the new board still remain so this deal may not be ratified.

Simon Davey was seen at Cheltenham's Whaddon Road on Saturday. Our new manager, perhaps?

Heard a rumour that spurs are planning a raid on the spl they are looking to sign caldwell & brown from celtic for a fee of 10mill and boughera thompson mcgregor wilson for 20mill
YID ARMY

Arsenal have made enquiries as to the availability of benfica forward Oscar cardozo

Morten gamst pedersen to celtic. our day will come !

The Glazier family are in discussion with a group of Chinese billionaire investors, these guys are seriuos football fans, and want to be in charge of one of the biggest name's in world football, and as they already now United are a huge brand in the far east market. There could be one stumbling block, and that's the price the Glaziers are looking for, they want enough to wipe out the debt they have ammassed, and a sizeable profit on there investment, so figures being talked about at the moment are in the £800 million plus bracket.
If the move come's off don't expect vast's amounts of spending like Chelsea or Man Shty, but there will be a set budget every year for SAF to work from which will be enough to tempt some of the bigger names to Old, hopefully this will start to move in the next couple of months and the new owners if all goes well will be in power for next season, between now and then don't expect much activity, except maybe the arrival of Kjaer for his 12 million euro's release fee, and maybe an attacking midfielder. For those scousers saying they were buying Dodo, the young Brazilian defender, check your sources you muppets, United did a deal in the summer with Corinthians for Dodo to come to United when he turns 18 which is in February.

West ham to sell Matthew upson to liverpool for 14 million and Radoslav kovac to newcastle for 7 million and west ham to sign adriano for 4 million Zat knight for 4 million chris kirkland for 7 million and finally Dave kitson for 3 million they hope to stay up with these four signings it really could help them out.

Celtic will get the frenchman giroud and also sol bamba from hibs aswell as the korean already signed .four squad players out mccourt, killen, flood and naylor. from a good source at lenoxtown.

Expect one of the busiest transfer windows ever!
Arsenal (in January) will not be signing anyone expect from Blaise Matuidi from St Etienne.
Liverpool will sign Jeremy Toulalan for £15million after selling Javier Mascherano to Barcelona for £25million. That will mean that Yaya Toure will ask to leave Barcelona and join AC Milan for around £18million. This will allow Gennaro Gattuso's wish to leave AC to be granted as he will join his former boss Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, who will be missing both of their holding midfielders (as well as Drogba and Kalou) when they go to the African Cup of Nations. This will mean that Roma will have to look elsewhere for a striker and that will be either Luca Toni (if he doesn't join Inter), and if they can't get him then they will sign Kevin Kuranyi as he is available for £2million. Any move for Luca Toni will only be on loan till the end of the season as Inter will be signing Goran Pandev on a free in the summer. Also moving on loan until the end of the season will be Ruud van Nistelrooy to Liverpool. Everton will confirm the three–month loan signing of Landon Donovan. Also, in addition to Valencia signing Alejandro Dominguez on a free from Rubin Kazan, they will sign Dani Guiza from Fenerbache in a straight swap for Nikola Zigic.

Some Arsenal News:– Stan Kroenke will buy the shares he needs to get him over the 30% mark so he can make his bid for the club!Arsene will be busy in january in a bid to show Fabregas that the club want to win things.Van Der Vaat has been told to get 1st time football if he wants to start in the world cup so he will sign on a cut price in january because AW doesn't want to loan and sign after the world cup incase his price shoots up.Also to streghen the Champions League squad Arsenal will sign Mark Noble if West Ham don't have new owners in january. They will also make moves for Agbonlahor and Richards to boost thier world cup chances. Also moves could be made for Inler and a loan move for Adriano but its jus to cover Van Persie until the summer as arsenal have concerns about the way he would live his life if he to b in london full time.AW is also looking at the chances of bringing Flamini and Hleb back to the club.Silvestre Troare Senderos and Denilson will be leaving and Fabregas won't leave if he feels the club are trying to get players to compete with the best in europe. So the squad at the start of the new season MIGHT be.. GK– Alumina Fabinski Mannone, DEF–Sanga Eboue Vermaelen Richards Gallas Djourou Clichy Gibbs, MID–Rosicky Fabegas VanDerVaat Diaby Ramsay Flamini Hleb Nasri Noble or Inler (not both), Fow–Van Persie Arshavin Walcott Agbonlahor. These are the rumours coming through our agents office and these tranfers are being down because Kroenke will increase the wage bill and they also want to keep Fabregas and that is the number 1 priority!!Those tranfers will leave arsenal 22–25 man squad who are all good players and with the young players in reserve arsenals future is looking up n id say it won't b long until thier winning the big tropies again! And as for my team not only will birmingham stay up were going to get europe!!:–D

Thanks to Gillett selling his hockey team for a profit of £180mil and Hicks making £150mil from Texas Rangers. They will be able to back Benitez with a 35mil budget this summer, whilst most of the other money will go to settling the debt of the club, and then when the economy improves, building the stadium.

Joining will be:
Juan Vargas (15mil) Versatile. Adds height and pace from the back
Luis Suarez (15mil) Versatile, good pace and direct
Sergio Aguero (37mil) Versatile, talented, pacy
James McCarthy (4mil and loaned back) Talented
Sergio Busquet (swap) Height, talented.
Mahamadou Diarra (8mil) Pace and Power

Leaving will be:
Javier Mascherano (30mil + Busquet)
Dirk Kuyt (15mil)
Andrea Dossena (4mil)
Andriy Voronin (2mil)
Ryan Babel (6mil)
Charles Itjande (free)
Jordy Brouwer (200k)
Sotiris Kyrgiakos (1.5mil)

Although the net spend of this will be roughly only 20mil, a lot of money will be spent on new contracts for existing players and new players. Aguero will be on around £120k/wk which is less than he would demand at any other club as he was a boyhood Liverpool fan.

{editor's note – why do people think either of those two clowns will give any money to the club? Both have stated on numerous occasions that none of the money raised from the sales of their American franchises, will go to Liverpool!}

I have heard that Norwich want to sign Brett Ormerod from Blackpool.
Also that 2 manchester united young starlets are on their way to blackpool in january, a midfielder and striker.
Blackpool are being VERY strongly linked with signing Albert Adomah from barnet, and also 1 or 2 strikers from un named clubs and un named players

'Have heard that members of rock band Def Leppard are considering investing in hometown club Sheffield Wednesday. Chairman Lee Strafford is delighted at this prospect, and has said that the hysteria from this speculation may mean that the club will not be high and dry financially, and that their investment can be a rock of ages instead of bringing on the heartbreak. It's not known how the players will respond, but as long as they play like animals the Kop will rock, rock until it drops!'

This is about the funniest post I have seen on here – just wonder if The Owls will have 'Nine Lives' if they do invest!

Anyway, on a more serious note – Stockport County.

A strong whisper on the terraces today is that an investor is keen on investing in/buying the club, however his business has been hit by the credit crunch and we will not know if he wants to invest until April 2010.

This guy could be our only hope, and I hope that he does invest in us as quite frankly things have been little short of catastrophic for us lately!

I'm going to focus on the 2 teams of the moment, Liverpool and Man Utd:
MAN UTD
to start off with I will choose the more interesting. This may be surprising to many Man Utd fans but Ferguson is being forced out of the club. The Glazers are in severe debt and cannot afford £50m on players every year. Ferguson wants money when he asks for it and it is crippling them, yet they know that sacking him would cause uproar around Old Trafford. They also know that they need to hold on for another 2–3 years and they'll be well shot of him and will bring in a manager that is used to working on a tight budget. Jose Mourinho is far to much like Ferguson and wouldn't change anything, while Martin O'Neill is happy at Villa. The surprise replacement lined up to replace Ferguson is David Moyes. He's already hinting towards his frustration of having £5m + money made from transfers a season and feels he can't take the club much further. He will therefore see £15m as a windfall of cash. Now to go through the team
GOALKEEPER
Man United have 3 good goalkeepers. Van Der Sar will retire at the end of the season, yet will stay on as a coach. He will participate in the World Cup but that is it. Kuszczak and Foster will be rotated with each other while Zieler is coming through nicely. Hence no Akinfeev or Ochoa as mentioned.
DEFENDERS
Gary Neville will retire at the end of the season as well, staying as a club ambassador. Ferdinand may also have to retire due to a reccuring back problem. Vidic will leave in the summer due to personal reasons ie he doesn't like England and will join Inter Milan for £35m. This leaves Man Utd with a defensive dilemma. Evra and Fabio on the left, Evans, Brown and O'Shea in the centre and Rafael on the right. To sort this out Ferguson will bring in 2 defenders over the coming 18 months. Simon Kjaer will join from Palermo for £12m and Dainele Bonera will join in January for £7m and with the likes of Cathcart, De Laet and Simpson with Cleverly who can play there as well they will see this as sorted.
MIDFIELD
Ferguson has begun to see the benefits of a 4–5–1 and will keep it this way. Carrick will stay because he's a good holding midfielder and Fletcher can adventure forward and provide support, so this works well. Hargreaves will be out back to Germany, Scholes will stay on for another season and will leave with Ferguson alongside Giggs. Gibson is coming through and showing tremendous potential. Giggs and Nani on the left, Obertan and Valencia on the right while Anderson and Park in the centre. What Ferguson will adopt however is playing Rooney in the hole, providing support for Berbatov. He reckons this could work wonders and Rooney possesses all the right attributes for this role; distance finishing, power, passing, creativity. Eikrem, Drinkwater and Norwood coming through so this also looking good for the future.
FORWARDS
Ferguson is a huge admirer of Berbatov and won't sell him due to his £30m price tag still looming around him. He will leave a flop and Ferguson doesn't like this. Owen has proven he can be useful from the bench. Macheda and Welbeck will be the future partnership and expect to see a lot of them next season. When Moyes takes over Berbatov will be out for around £15m if his performances don't perk up. Yakubu could replace him while Rodwell might also join Moyes to replace Scholes.

Liverpool
Hicks and Gillett have put the club up for sale. They are £200m in debt and the investor they are trying to sell to doesn't want the club to be in debt. This will prove to be problematic for both parties. At the minute the price is £450m, but should the yanks pay off the £200m then the price rises to £700m and rightfully so the Prince feels this to be far to extravagant. It isn't that he can't afford it, but he feels they are trying to make him look stupid. This is also why Rafa hasn't been sacked yet, there are other things on the owners minds.
GOALKEEPERS
Reina has constantly proven his class and Cavalieri has shown he isn't too shabby himself. Gulacsi is coming through nicely here.
DEFENDERS
What looks like a solid back 4 has recently became shambles. Insua and Aurelio will stay as left backs, Dossena being sold to Sampdoria for £6m. Skrtel, Agger, Kyrgiakos and Carragher at the back with Shawcross joining in the summer. Johnson and Degen right backs. Degen has shown talent when played, very attacking yet poor defending and will be sold. Darby will be the back up. With the likes of Kelly, Ayala and Mavinga coming through they are relatively secure here.
MIDFIELDERS
A 4–5–1 formation which will be changing to 4–4–2 as of next season. Riera will be exchanged for Silva and Mata, with £20m going to Valencia. Babel will be sold for £7m. Kuyt on the right with El Zhar shows a weakness that must be addressed, Xabi Prieto coming in for £8m. In the centre shows solidarity. Aquilani and Gerrard with Lucas and Javi Martinez should funding go well. Spearing and Plessis are coming through nicely and will see Spearing go on loan to Leicester while Plessis could join Burnley on loan.
FORWARDS
Torres will be joined by Goran Pandev in January. Lazio are trying one final contract before it's too late. Voronin could be out in January for £3–5m while Aguero will join Liverpool in the summer if he doesn't join Chelsea in January. This is 100% fact. £20m + Benayoun (transfer value dropped + Yossi massively rated over in Spain) will be the fee and will see a strikeforce of Torres, Aguero, Pandev and N'Gog. Should he join Chelsea then it will be Torres and Pandev with Nemeth and N'Gog. Also with Eccleston coming through nicely and Simon then it looks good for the future as well.

When/If Rangers sell Madjid Bougherra in January, to Tottenham Hotspur if the rumours are to believed, then look out for Martin Taylor of Birmingham City joining the club on a six month loan deal.

Any Fulham news ?

Liverpool outs: Voronin 4m–Hamburg, Dossena 5m–Napoli or Roma, Babel 9m–Juventus, Degen–2m AEK Athens.=20m.Liverpool ins:Pandev 3m, Rakitic 6m, Upson 5m, Drenthe 6m

Gold and Sullivan have given West Ham United untill 25th December to accept their offer.

ARSENAL JANUARY 2010–

Stan Kroenke will buy the reainder of the shares he needs to takeover the club, at a cut price. this will be a strategic move which will save him millions whereas if he passed the 30% mark this year as he would have to buy the rest of the shares at a premium~about 10500pounds each.
With that he will recruit new staff to enhance the image of Arsenal FC, revamp sponsorship deals tha will see much higher revenues and increase the wage bill to a more competitive level.

JAN TRANSFERS SIGNINGS:
Cetin Servet 10m
Mamadou Sakho 9m

Eden Hazard 6m + add ons on a pre contract returning to Lille till summer.
Neven Subotic 14m on pre contract returning to Borussia Dortmund till summer.

Rosicky, Gallas and Merida will all sign contract extensions.

Seems to be a lot about Norwich and Cardiff on here of late.

I reckon that Norwich will probably have to sell Holt and Hoolahan in January (finances dictate this will happen), and have heard that Leeds United, Sheffield United and Leicester City are keenly eyeing them up.

As for Cardiff – can't see Pratley going to them, but Wilshere and Spearing will come in on–loan with Lee McCulloch and Lee Naylor also signing for The Bluebirds.
