Arsenal want Southampton's 15 year old full back Luke Shaw who has been called up for the England U16 development squad and is tipped for big things. Luke has been showing as much or even more potential than Southampton's former Left-Back Gareth Bale say coaches at Saints.
Arsenal have noticed this and have approached Southampton about a move for the 15 year old.
Nicola Cortese has said that none of there youth players are for sale and said that Arsenal should look elsewhere.
Even though Saints have said that he is not for sale Arsenal will test them and bid £2million for him.

Is Beckham coming to Watford? Probably not. Has Sir Elton talked to Beckham about it? Yes he has. Beckham has not given a yes or no answer but Elton is certainly trying to encourage him to have a loan stint, and LA Galaxy are prepared to send him to England on loan. I am sure many clubs will take up the offer but Sir Elton thinks he can talk him into spending that time at Vicarage Road.

Apparently the reason Robins had a disagreement with the board is because there's a clause in his contract stating that this season he has to dress up as a pantomime ape for each game.

My friend works in the admin offices for Watford. He doesn't know if Beckham's going to come but, according to the board of directors, Elton has definitely talked to David about playing for Watford on loan, at least up until January.

"According to ontheballcity.com, Norwich City will sign David Goodwillie from Dundee United in the Summer.
I've also heard from several sources that Emilio Izaguirre from Celtic to compete with Marc Tierney for the left-back spot. Adam Drury is likely to retire in the Summer, though may be offered a coaching role by Lambert, primarily focussed on dealing with the younger players.
Dani Pacheco will rejoin from Liverpool on loan for the whole of the 2011/2012 season. Though Henri Lansbury is unlikely to return from Arsenal, with the midfielder determined to earn a place in the Arsenal starting XI.
Lambert's defensive reinforcements may see him look to Scotland once more, with Daniel Majstorovic of interest from Celtic. Should Izguirre and Majstorovic make the the move South to Carrow Road, it is possible that Lambert could include Cody McDonald and Jens Berthel-Askou as part of that deal.
Aaron Wilbraham is likely to remain in the Championship, with Brighton & Hove Albion displaying an interest in signing the striker from City.
Owain Tudur-Jones and Matt Gill are both to be shipped out, League 1 a likely destination. Southampton are eager to sign Stephen Hughes, the midfielder has struggled to make much of an impact for Norwich during his second season. Steven Smith will leave with a deal with Aberdeen keen to sign the left-back.
Oli Johnson is to join Crystal Palace on loan for the first 6 months of the season.
The Canaries are set to battle QPR for the signature of Danny Graham. Should Blackburn go down, Lambert may look to sign Samba to boost his options in defence. Overall, Lambert is hoping to give the majority of players who took the team up a chance."
Izaguirre to Norwich is quite laughable the guy is attracting interest from the elite of England. The probability of a bid is unlikely but he wouldn't be joining Norwich. And please take Majstorovic, he's a good defender but gives away so many stupid free kicks within shooting distance. Have fun trying to survive in the EPL with him as your starting centre back.

Macedonian defender Vance Sikov could soon be playing in England with League One team Sheffield Wednesday.
According to Cypriot newspaper 24Sports.com.cy, Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson has arrived in Cyprus to watch tomorrow's game between Ermis and Ethnikos Achnas at the Ammochostos Stadium in the city of Larnaca. Megson has reportedly watched numerous DVD's of Sikov but he wants to watch him in person before making a decision whether to sign Sikov.
Sikov is a free agent in the summer and is regarded as one of the top defenders in a Cypriot League that continues to get better every year. Sikov has made 11 appearances for the Macedonian national team and has scored two goals. Sikov has played as a RB for the national team although his best position is at CB.

According to ontheballcity.com, Norwich City will sign David Goodwillie from Dundee United in the Summer.
I've also heard from several sources that Emilio Izaguirre from Celtic to compete with Marc Tierney for the left-back spot. Adam Drury is likely to retire in the Summer, though may be offered a coaching role by Lambert, primarily focussed on dealing with the younger players.
Dani Pacheco will rejoin from Liverpool on loan for the whole of the 2011/2012 season. Though Henri Lansbury is unlikely to return from Arsenal, with the midfielder determined to earn a place in the Arsenal starting XI.
Lambert's defensive reinforcements may see him look to Scotland once more, with Daniel Majstorovic of interest from Celtic. Should Izguirre and Majstorovic make the the move South to Carrow Road, it is possible that Lambert could include Cody McDonald and Jens Berthel-Askou as part of that deal.
Aaron Wilbraham is likely to remain in the Championship, with Brighton & Hove Albion displaying an interest in signing the striker from City.
Owain Tudur-Jones and Matt Gill are both to be shipped out, League 1 a likely destination. Southampton are eager to sign Stephen Hughes, the midfielder has struggled to make much of an impact for Norwich during his second season. Steven Smith will leave with a deal with Aberdeen keen to sign the left-back.
Oli Johnson is to join Crystal Palace on loan for the first 6 months of the season.
The Canaries are set to battle QPR for the signature of Danny Graham. Should Blackburn go down, Lambert may look to sign Samba to boost his options in defence. Overall, Lambert is hoping to give the majority of players who took the team up a chance.

Awful lot of rubbish has been posted about Reading on here in the last few days. Even if they stay in the Championship and inevitably lose a few key players they definitely won't be signing anyone for huge amounts of money.
McDermott will first look to promote from within and the likes of Taylor, Morrison, Cummings, Obita and D'ath will see increases in playing time. A few players are being monitored by the club though including Lee Novak from Huddersfield, Keith Treacy from Preston and Sheffield United's Stephen Quinn.

A five-strong Bok consortium led by South Africa s richest man Johann Rupert have asked Seymour Price to handle their purchase of a Premier league or top end Championship club. Sources from within Seymour Pierce, headed by Keith Harris, a director of Wembley National Stadium Limited, have confirmed that an initial approach of £60million, including £20million to cover loans from current Chairman John Madejski has been considered in light of a formal approach for Reading FC, citing considerable investment will be available to current manager Brian McDermott. Johann Rupert is reported to have been extremely impressed with the facilities at Reading FC and the well-run manner of the club, with very little debt and a record of strong achievements based on slowly building up the club. If successful with their approach, the Bok consortium wish to continue with the Reading way , retaining the services of both McDermott, the current Manager and his staffing team, whilst providing resource to increase the size of the background staff if necessary. The consortium are keen to continue working behind the scenes on strengthening the facilities available to the team and to extend the size of the stadium to encourage new fans to a club with 'vast potential' with 'few major rivals' and potential 'large catchment area'.
To sweeten the deal, the takeover will offer Madejski the opportunity to continue his service to the club in a Non-Executive Advisory role to the board, providing him the opportunity to continue having some limited contribution in the running of the club.

England international Heskey looks set to depart from Villa Park as the American owners look to invest over the summer with a massive warchest and see Heskey as surplus.
