Victor Moses has been linked with Chelsea, Spurs, Real Madrid and Man City, but there seems to be some discrepancy about the age on his passport.

Steve Bruce biding his time to sign figueroa from ex club Wigan Athletic.Steve is agreeing a deal that will see figueroa leave for approx 5 million pounds. He will also be looking to offload Kenwynne Jones to Arsenal for a fee in the region of £11 million pounds with some of that cash financing a deal to bring crack Paraguay forward Salvador Cabanas from the Mexican league to the Stadium of Light who will team up with his international team–mate and Paraguay captain Paulo de Silva who joined in the summer and David Bentley from Spurs.

THE RANGERS REVOLOUTION IS TAKING PLACE! Once the dream team is in place and the take over complete we won't have much money to spend. Boydy heading for BRUM :–( his agent Mark Donaghy (monkey)is holding out for £30,000 a week! Too much for us, however Christian Nade of Hearts and Darren Mackie of the Dons to come in, deal agreed before Christmas! Chris Innes of St.Mirren a possible target along with Charlie Miller to bolster the midfield. No hutton or Adam return, too expensive.

Big news for Gills fans, as well as Blackpool fans.

Simeon Jackson has 100% signed for Blackpool today, although this will not be announced till later on in January. The figure is in the region of 700K, with add ons and part of the deal is that Jackson stays at Gills till the end of the month when the deal will be announced.

The other part of the deal is that the Gills have first refusal on a couple of fringe players from Pool at reduced prices.

Knock me if you wish, but this is true.

Signed
Not too amused Gill.

Big rumour coming from Notts. County is that Sven has asked scouts to take a closer look at Charlie Sheringham, son of Teddy Sheringham.

Charlie scored 27 goals for Welling United last season, and has recently moved to Bishop's Stortford. However, Notts. have set aside £50,000 to sign Charlie at the end of the season should he impress at Bishop's Stortford.

Also, the finances ARE getting sorted at Meadow Lane and there will be a very significant investment in the summer. The Munto group only pulled out because they felt Notts. went back on a promise of not revealing their identities, so this derailed us slightly. We will go up (even if it's by play–offs) and will do well in League 1 next season – mid–table should be fine.

C'mon U Pies!

Please believe me!!! There is a crisis at Parkhead with several more players telling their agents to make some calls. This has mushroomed because the players feel the club is going backwards with a severe lack of quality at every level, from boardroom to backroom.
A major problem with players knocking back moves to Celtic is The manager, Tony Mowbray.
Major signing targets are not impressed with his lack of experience, mediocre reputation and appalling efforts to keep WBA in the Premiership.
We are being forced to target low–profile players from Scandinavia and the lower leagues in England.
The board are seriously concerned at this and are actively seeking alternatives in th shape of Riikard, Keane and McCarthy to take over the reigns as soon as possible

Not a rumour, but an observation.
Whilst the snow fall in the last week has again caused havoc and schools have been closed, I would like to suggest that the children who missed out on their lessons should really be reading a dictionary instead of posting daft and funny 'rumours' on here.
Harry Redknapp (spiv) is being investigated by HMC for a paltry 40 grand? Dig a little deeper and they might recover enough cash to loan to the Glazer family to get United out of trouble.
Spuds will soon be at their proper level in the league again especially if 'Arry dips into the market this Jan. Buy buy 'Arry, means bye bye Spuds.
Condolences to Liverpool FC, a once might football institution and probably the best supporters I have witnessed, and seemingly the most patient and tolerant.
Finally Arsharvin to Barca for 40 mil? Get a grip.

URGENT MANCHESTER UNITED NEWS.HOT FROM THE OFFICE!!!!!!

David Gill is being forced out of Manchester United. Following on from the Bonds announcement, Gill has had some of the UK's finest money men looking over the plan and he's in total disagreement with the Glazers. Following a heated video confrence with Joel Glazer, Gill has been told he will be relieved of his position at the end of the season, with the Glazers bringing in their own man from the states.
The problem Gill had with the deal involves 2 parts.
Firstly there is insufficient intrest in the bonds, despite the press release earlier tis week when they were announced to the public, the Glazers have been sounding out investors to buy into this type of bonds for some 18 months, they have not had favourable response tothis...Why..The answer lies within who will be at the club come August 2010.

A deal to sell Wayne Rooney £74m Real Madrid, Vidic £21m Real Madrid, Patrice Evra £19m Barcelona, Dimitar Berbatov £11m Bayern Munich have already been agreed. this means there is no pulling power for potential investors. There is no money to spend even when the bonds have been sold.

Secondly, Joel Glazer has found a buyer for the stadium and the adjoining freight terminal which is also owned by Manchester United Ltd. The sale including the training groung willgenerate £345M, and will be used to pay off the Glazers debt, i.e the PIK/Hedge fund loan. This debt is not secured on Manchester United, it is solely in the Glazer name.

Along with the stadium and training ground, the buyer will have the final say on ticket prices. They are guaranteed 25% of the gate receipt, with the remainder going to the club. This is on top of the hire charge that the club will have topay to the new owner to use the stadium. So fans can expect a 25% increase in ticket prices.

Not good news for reds fans I'm afraid.

Sir Matt must be turning in his grave, the club he built from the ruins of WW2 and the Munich disaster, has been destroyed by the Yanks.

To this guy––– 'BREAKING ARSENAL NEWS...
Andrei Arshavin 2 join Barcelona for £42.8million. Arsenal to sign Thierry Henry and Joe Cole. TRUE RUMOUR from a spanish pro la liga player'

Hahahahahahah that's hilarious. I really hope that your joking. Anyway... David James has been linked with a loan move to Stoke City as Portsmouth are desperate to get him off the wage bill. Benitez precarious position at Liverpool will not put him off seeking new players, especially now after Gerrard and Torres are out for several weeks. No real names here other than the obvious. Man Utd's financial problems may mean that selling Wayne Rooney may be an unfortunate outcome (to Man Utd fans, this doesn't mean I'm persecuting your club, I'm just saying it how it is). Berbatov may follow.

CELTIC fc REAL transfers

celtic to go for Keane on loan near the end of Jan with an option to buy but i doubt we will buy as we will be spending half our money on his wages while hes on loan. If it dosent work the other options are:
Pederson
McCarthy
Beckford
Stilic
Utaka
Harewood
Macheda (loan)
Welbeck (loan)
Bojan (Loan)
We will also be forced to sell some first tem players
McManus
McDonald
Hinkel
But this will pave way for the IN transfers
we will hold on to Brown and McGeady untill JAN2011/SUMMER2011
Marc Crosas may go back to barcalona as there is a buy back option on his contract and barca like what they have seen from him at celtic

Hail Hail

My first post since August guys, great to be back!

Some info regarding Liverpool; prior to yesterday's defeat to Reading Rafa Benitez and Christian Purslow were actively seeking to add at least two new face to the first team squad in addition to the recent acquisition of Maxi Rodriguez.

The subsequent injuries to Gerrard, Torres and Benayoun seem to indicate that Liverpool will press ahead with these plans despite the seemingly insecure position of the manager in light of yesterday's defeat.

I don't know who will be signed but I am able to confirm some of the names that have been looked at by Liverpool for immediate transfer during the window, prior to the injuries sustained:

Right Back/ Right Midfield:

Rafinha (Schalke) – £4.5 million
Cicinho (Roma) – nominal fee
Miguel (Valencia)– £5 million
Nelson (Betis) – £2 million
Eboue (Arsenal) – £4 million

Striker:

Chamakh (Bordeaux) – £3.5 million
RVN (Schalke) – nominal fee
Jovanovic (Standard Liege) – £3 million
Daniel Guiza (Fenherbace) – £6 million
Kenwyne Jones (Sunderland) – £6.5 million
Jermaine Beckford (Leeds) – £2 million

The prices are purely speculative on my part, except for the Chamakh fee where I understand that Liverpool are willing to pay a fee in this region to stave off interest from other clubs.

Would love to hear your thoughts guys!
{editor's note – to be honest I would just like to see dross like Kuyt dropped and some of the kids given a go. I am not sure we really need to spend any money, and I certainly wouldn't trust Rafa to spend it anyway. Everything I have heard said he was only in the job till the new investment was sorted (supposedly sometime in Feb/Mar) and then he was on his way. Right now I think it needs to be sooner though, definitely before he spends any more money.}

=The Doctor46=
Editor – am loving your work, great new look for the site, would also love to hear your thoughts in particular!

Fed up of hearing fryatt going to every team under the sun! any real leicester rumours?

14 Jan 2010 16:52:51
Hello Everyone
For all Coventry City supporters i have genuine transfer news from the club.

Chris Coleman is keen to make loanees Leon Barnett and Gary Maddine permanent figures at the club, talks are still ongoing with Carlisle for Maddine who Coleman sees as one for the future. Leon Barnett meanwhile may be slightly more complicated, West Brom's interest in Leon Best means they could use barnett as a bargainning chip in the deal, it seems however that Coleman is only interested in a cash only deal possibly rising to £500,000.

Outgoings are Elliot Ward, it is well known he doesent figure in Colemans plans and expect him to be leaving sooner rather than later, even if his move to southhampton has fallen through.

However the left back slot currently needs strengthing, expect Coleman to make a move for a player in this posistion during the window, either on loan or permanently.

I understand that the club is still interested in securing Gary Mcsheffery back to the club. A big PR signing would prove valuble for the club, attracting more fans to the ricoh and bringing back some more optimism amongst the team. With Birmingham willing to listen to offeres a deal could be seen sooner rather than later.

Dont forget Jack Cork either, He has returned to Chelsea for the time being but Coleman would still like him back untill the end of the season, talks with Chelsea are understood to be ongoing.

Finnaly this leaves me to give you the possible squad at the end of January:
Gk Westwood, Konstantopolus, Ireland
Lb ?(New signing) Hussey, Hall
Cb Wood, Barnett
Cb McPake, Turner
Rb Craine, Wright
Dm Clingan, Osbourne
Cm Cork – Loan, Gunnarson
Cm Deegan, Baker(Anywhere across midfield)
Lm Mcsheffery, Mcindoe
Rm Bell
St Best, Maddine
St Eastwood, Morrison

Top half finish?

To all you sharp sighted nutcases standing at club entrances , airports or training facitities and have claimed to see van nistelrooy. stop it stop it stop it. i can reveal that an employee of celtic football club who will remain nameless, has informed me that peter lawell made a trip to paris a short time ago to wrap up the hooiveld transfer. however during that trip, mr lawell also met with representatives of van nistelrooy in an attempt to lure ruud to celtic park. van nistelrooys reps had some demands that celtic are happy to comply with. it only needs ruud to now rubber stamp the move....the problem for celtic is thisruud wants to go to the premiership, but doesn't fancy the clubs who have bid for him. so he's holding out for a better club showing interest. if a top six premiership outfit don't rescue him from madrid expect van nistelrooy to join celtic in the final hours of the transfer window.

I Tried to post yesterday evening about Rangers takeover (the ed must not have liked it)my son who works for a large bank in Glasgow city centre(not Lloyds) told me about how he was working on some accounts regarding Rangers , and that a Newspaper reporter was phoning all week asking for any information, Now in today's daily record they are talking about an £18m failed takeover bid, my son assures me the final offer will be between 21m and 26m and will be finalised before feb 2, a consortium of 6 people is involved 3 of which are Scotish , all bank staff have been told not to speak to the press..this is 100% genuine, I will find out more this evening and post...We welcome the chase..BlueBellsAreBlue

Rafas' job is safe until the summer. The owners are now formulating a transfer policy for the summer that provides for paying off Rafa's contract and handing a new manager a sizeable transfer fund. They are waititng until the summer as funds will be available from a new investor coming in. It is felt that Rafa has done some great work overhauling the academy and reserve set up, which will pay dividends in coming years, but the first team needs freshening up. Rafa's tactics have become predictable and senior players have expressed that the squad needs an injection of new ideas and confidence that a new manager can bring. Maurinho is seen as the man who can turn things round and the board hope to capitalise on his discontent at Inter Milan

14 Jan 2010 15:32:12
Expect Everton to replace Lucas Neill with Philipe Sendreros of Arsenal.

The Arsenal defender wants away to secure a world cup place and is out of contract at the end of the season.

Everton are preparing a £1.5 million bid

I have it on good authority that Celtic will sign Peter Lovenkrands from Newcastle in a swap deal for Stephen McManus.

After being knocked back by Matthew Kilgannon, Celtic will move their attention to no nonsense Arsenal central defender Philipe Senderos.

Scott Brown will be announced at the Press Conference on friday as new club captain and will also sign a new 5 year deal.

Leicester City are rumoured to be interested in Reading winger Jobi Macanuff

14 Jan 2010 15:42:23
St. Mirren have definately agreed a fee with Watford for Stephen McGinn – posted on the club's official site. Undisclosed fee believed to be somewhere between £100–125k.

Gus MacPherson said he had players lined–up should he get the chance to strengthen, with Steven Hammell, Jim Paterson and Bob Harris all being mentioned for a possible move at left back.

With only 3 centre–backs at the club, also possible that another defender will be brought in for cover. Desperately need a winger of some form, but that might depend on whether Andy Dorman moves in the window.

14 Jan 2010 15:52:16
Just to clear something up,

To the person who said that Celtic's new centre half was rejected by Livingston.

He wasn't, he was invited over for a trial and due to the weather at the time, (over 3 years ago now) the game was never played and he went home.

So before you come on here spouting nonsense get your facts straight.

Truth is Rangers will be signing nobody this month (or ever) due to being run by Donald Muir of Lloyds banking corporation, also, he is likely to veto Rangers offer of £18k a week to Boyd because they simply cannot afford it.

Fleck and Wilson have rejected Rangers derisory contract offers. Tottenham had a spy watching Wilson at Hamilton last week.

I can understand why Rangers fans would want to belittle Celtic's signings as they haven't and won't be making any signings of note in the forseeable future.

Debt reduction is all that matters at Ibrox.

14 Jan 2010 16:10:05
Genuine news fellow bears i have it on good authority that Aberdeen striker Lee Miller will sign for Rangers in January as cover for Kris Boyd who is currently out injured.

EDITOR – PLEASE POST, GENUINE RUMOUR.I have just heard through a friend who works at LFC that Rafa not be sacked but will offload Mascherano to Barca for £35m then go straight to Valencia and give them £40m for Villa, deal may not go through in Jan but if not will definately be concluded for the summer. He is also looking at many other deals to try and swap players in this way, i.e Babel to Brum for £9m and Arda Turan in for £11m. Reira, Skrtel and even the love child himself Kuyt are up for grabs should an offer/similar swap be on the cards.

Cant wait until the end of January to see if we still got a team left(crystal palace.)Jose Fonte gone to Southampton with rumour of Neil Danns to follow.Victor Moses will go to a premiership club, there was hearsay that a deal was going to be struck were he was loaned back to us for the rest of the season(RESULT), but i can't see it.Also up for grabs are Nathaniel Clien(very talented young full back)Sean Scannell, Darren Ambrose who has been rejuvenated under Warnock, 12 goals from midfield this season. The biggest downer for me though would be to see our best kept secret go, goalkeeper Julian Speroni, who without a doubt has to be one of the best keepers in this country, i will be very suprised if he is not between the sticks for Argentina for the world cup.On a brighter side Warnock has been quoted saying "we are hoping to get a couple of loan players in"great!!!!!!!!!

I posted on Monday I think it was, a colleague at work told me that something would be announced in January regarding takeover at Rangers. He also told me something would be announced a few months ago, 2 days later SDM stepped down.. Its in the papers today that Lloyds have rejected an apparent £18m bid from Dave Kings 4 man consortium. I asked at work this morning, he told me his source at Ibrox is former player and coach John MacGregor. He speaks to him regularly in at Ibrox, this is what he was talking about. He tells me though, its a 6 man consortium that's bidded. £18m (if that's the right amount) is the 1st offer and the 1st stage, but they will be back. Personally, and I'm no expert, I think Lloyds would settle for approx £25m (debt is £31m).

Apparently there is a couple of "big–hitters" in the consortium, remaining anonymous. I'm told these are the guys that WILL be coming on board, but they are always going to go in with a lower 1st offer to test resolve, obviously. This I'm told part and parcel of it. SDM still wants his £50m back from the share issue he introduced a few years ago, details of this will not be made public and will be between him and the new buyers. I'll post back if I get anything else

Newcastle are believed to be readying a bid of £750,000 for Sheffield Wednesday defender Mark Beevers, after missing out on Matthew Kilgallon. While Akpo Sodje could be on his way to Leeds United on loan.

Wednesday are hoping to wrap up a loan deal for Derby striker Luke Varney before they face Barnsley on Saturday.

14 Jan 2010 12:23:37
New Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine, will start his wheeling & dealing to save the Owls from the drop very shortly.

He will look to seel Lee Grant to Burnley, for cash + Christian Kalvenes.

Iain Turner from Everton will then sign on loan for the season, with a view to a permanent at season end.

He will also look to bring in Caleb Folan from Hull on a season long loan.

Watch this space.

Dele adebola will be staying at Nottingham Forest and will see out his career at the City Ground.

Forest are also close to 4 signings, these being Miles Addison, Charlie Adam, Leon Cort and Victor Moses.

Joe Garner will leave on loan to leeds and beckford will sign in the summer if the reds gain promotion.

Derby are close to the signing of Jamie Mackie, but are hoping for addison to join forest so the deal with plymouth can go ahead

Sheffield Wednesday news:

Our new manager Alan Irvine, is looking to bring in new faces into Hillsborough, but doesn't have enough funds to do so, so he is listening to any offers from any club about any players in the current squad. Our best two players look certain to be picked up by other clubs, Marcus Tudgay (Striker) and Lee Grant (Goalkeeper)this depends if Irvine is willing to let go our best two players in order to strengthen other areas, such as our defence, who have conceded many goals in the current campaign and also the strikers in our club aren't finishing as well as they should be. The only player who looked dangerous for the owls, up front, was on–loan striker Luke Varney, who has recently returned to Derby and doesn't look as if SWFC are willing to put in a bid due to his transfer price. Akpo Sodje has been out of favour also and has recently returned to Hillsborough after a 2 month loan at Charlton. Charlton FC are wanting to bring Sodje back to the Valley, but only on another loan, in which SWFC won't accept, but SWFC are willing to listen to any offers from Charlton about Sodje.
All i can say is that Irvine has to change the team around, due to the games streak without a win that we are on.Hopefully Irvine can get us out of the relegation zone, but its going to be difficult with only 20+ games left to survive.

South yorks news

Have been quiet for past couple of days as so many deals I had been aware off have changed/stopped etc

However this mornings update is

Sheffield United
McShefferey will NOT be coming to the club, Trevor has told blackwell to sell before buying or loaning
Burnley have asked about Sharp but have not bid for him.
As you know Kilgallon turned down Burnley, SUFC are desperate to sell him in Jan but he is determined to run down his contract, however this morning Everton has enquired about him, its been suggested to me Kilgallon would move there but Everton are thought to be only talking 750,000 which SUFC will refuse.
Young german striker Keniet Vilhelm has arrived at the club and watched the game at QPR

Sheffield Wednesday
Tudgay to SUFC has stalled, players agent not keen, hoping for Burnley to enquire. Tudgay wants out of hillsborough despite Irvines arrival.
SWFC want rid to fund Irvines targets Mawene and Tonge

Barnsley
Robins has given Cryan a list of 4 targets unfortunately I have the name of only two they are Billy Sharp and Adam le Fondre

Doncaster
A chasm hjas opened up in the relationship between SoD and Ryan, Sod was Burnleys first choice and despite their denials they wanted SoD but Ryan asked for £1m compensation. SoD is disgusted at being denied this opportunity, he will not quit but wants investment now rather than summer as previously agreed.

With Maxi on board, Rafa will now look to use the £6.5m he raised from the Dossena/Voronin sale. He will look to sign a defender and a striker. Vagner Love of Brazil is being touted to sign for the Merseysiders for £8m but it will only go through when Degen moves to Stuttgart for £2m and Babel moves to Juventus for £10m. Gary Cahill is Rafa's number one defensive target and will bid £10.5m .

14 Jan 2010 13:23:22
Liverpool have signed Diego Tardelli from Atletico Mineiro for £6.5m

I can confirm Wolves will unveil at least one signing by the middle of next week. I found this out from a youth team player who I got speaking to in a local bar. No names were mentioned but the player(s) will have premiership experience. This is 100% FACT, but keeps us guessing as to who it will be.

CELTIC RUMOURS

I am a regular attendee at Lennoxtown complex to watch the team train and can confirm that both Robbie Keane and Kris Commons have arrived for training this morning.

There is also a possibility that Bojan Krcic will come on loan for remainder of the season to join his good friend Marc Crosas.

Whoever wrote the following rumour PLEASE REMOVE UYOUR HEAD FROM YOUR BOTTOM....Just to start the darkside hate ta break it to ya but babel played tonite..
Ok Mi dad was at the recent ipswitch match compliments of Keane. I'm the guy who said that keane will be unveiled as Celtic manager in mid ta late febAry. Keane has said he is in touch with robbie keane over a posssible summer move ta Celtic Park. If this gfails he will try to make a bid for kenwyne jones but he'd rather stay in the EPL. Don't be surprised if he re signs barry robson as be rates him. Now he will sign cork born Sunderland midfielder David Meyler, he has said that he is in touch SAF over a couple of loans for his youngsters(macheda, nani, cathcart & matty James) wen he is unveiled as manager expect Keane to announce the signing of Fabian Delph. This January expect Celtic to sign none other then Alan Hutton intialy on a loan under the orders of keane.

Liverpool rumours:
Firstly I'd like to tell all Liverpool fans out there to keep the faith in our current manager. The yanks want us to turn against him and then his sacking won't be met with disagreement from the fans.

Secondly, with the signing of Maxi Rodriguez on a free 2 more could join. £6m is still available and Rafa has made it his no.1 target to sign a striker. Naturally for £5m the striker will either have to be mediocre or out of contract in the summer. Marouane Chamakh is Rafa's no. 1 target and Bordeaux have said they are willing to business with anyone, except Arsenal. It is likely that a £5m bid will be accepted so that Arsenal can't have him on a free in the summer. Bordeaux really dislike Arsenal for the way they went about the business in the summer and would love to see Wenger's no. 1 target depart before he could get his hands on him. Joe Cole might sign instead however for £6m. If Chelsea can't sort out his contract then he might finally come to the side he was supposed to be joining in the first place. Rafa is a well–known long time admirer of the tricky winger and if he does join then Riera will depart for £8–10m. Ryan Babel will also leave for £11m to Birmingham. His sale will fund for the signing of Turkish winger Arda Turan, the known Liverpool fan. With his asking price £11m Rafa will sell a player for equal to that, highly likely it is Babel.

The True Red

Portsmouth's finances are to be checked over by an independent panel, to check for any signs of fraud/financial mismanagement.

I know this, as I work for Grant Thornton and we've been asked by the Premier League to investigate.

There could well be jail terms handed out or lifetime bans handed out to directors at the club, and Milan Mandaric is also set to answer questions about his involvement in fraud and corruption whilst chairman of Portsmouth FC.

14 Jan 2010 05:00:18
A lot or unrealistic targets/rumours here. One that stood out was David Villa to Arsenal by Thursday. That's funny.
Now this is not certain but highly possible another signing by LFC this transfer window is Jeremy Menez on loan. A lot been mentioned about Chamakh which is also possible but only in the summer. Money (wages / fees) to sign him would come from the sale of Babel. Finally, LFC is also looking at Sergio Canales. Ideally to sign by this window with a small fee as his contract expire this summer but because many major club are looking at him, it will be highly impossible for LFC to compete in a bidding war. Unless he renew his contract, LFC would likely be his destination come summer.
Now before anyone start saying "LFC IS SKINT, YOU DO NOT HAVE MONEY" the above mentioned players hardly needed any money + we already sold several players & not to forget 20mil from new sponsors Stan Chart.

ARSENAL POSSIBLE TRANSFER!

arsene wenger is considering signing Raul Bobadilla, 22. he sent scouts to watch him play in november and apparently again in the last couple of weeks he plays for borussia monchenglagbach however is under contract until 2013 so perhaps it would be a bit expensive. expect to see this in some newspapaers soon!

arsenal are also looking at romelu lukaku from belgium (could be wrong on the latter)

14 Jan 2010 00:56:45
Right over the past year or so i have been reading this and thinking yep great rumours but some will never happen for expample Keane going to celtic ? was it no last week big harry came out and said he would only see for 50mil?
Some real rangers rumours Fleck and wilson both rejected very bad terms and ibrox so expect them to sign on mega money deals as they two are our future Ins Miller (aberdeen)and goin out will be the fringe players like smith and maybe a top 6 club in epl will move for davis and bougheraa The title is in the bag

RANGERS NEWS–

Expect Rangers to be under new ownership by the end of Jan. The takeover bid involves Dave King, Alistair Johnston, Paul Murray and another man whom I was not told the name of but high chance it is Souness, hence the reason he went from desperately wanting the Scotland job last year to not wanting to even be linked this year. Whether this chance will be done in time to do business in the Jan window I do not know but I am certain this will be down within 2 weeks time.

Ok firstly to dixie dean who left a comment about TH14 signing for liverpool today is this the same thierry henry that was playing for barca tonight against sevilla in the copa del ray in which barca lost and went out and thierry got booked just before the final whistle you wanna tell that guy from the liverpool echo to stop using his newspaper for his weed i hear those chemicals in the ink can play havoc with your head.

anyway to wright what i think may happen in jan:

ARSENAL will obviousley sign up sol and maybe one of LACINA TRAORE or a loan move i don't know who for but this could be a short fix until RVP an Bendtner get back from injury and back to full fitness. i personally would try diaby in the central striker role and push arshavin back out wide to save us a bit of dosh and bring in another Def Mid or put vermaelen there and save the money for big buys in the summer but 1st and foremost an attacker is needed.

CHELSEA are in the market i believe, but for who im not quite sure most likely would be a winger i.e. Ribery as this thing with joe cole has come up i think they would rather pay the 120,000 a week to a less injury prone player but i think joe will soon swallow his pride and pick up his toys and put pen to paper.

LIVERPOOL look fellas YOUR CLUB HAS NO MONEY. THERE WILL BE NO BIG SIGNINGS NO WORLD CLASS STARS AND NO SILVA, VILLA, CHEMACKH, PRE CONTRACTS ARE VERY RARELY AGREED ESPECIALLY FOR THE SUMS OF MONEY SPOUTED ABOUT THE PLACE BACK TO THE TOP YOU HAVE NO MONEY. there will be signings though as rodreguez has signed for free and any other players preffarably strikers and wingers if they are available for free or at very little cost no more that 5M i would say.

UP THE GOONERS

14 Jan 2010 00:34:08
I was surprised that Barry Robson is being allowed to join Boro , not worried about the other 3 (Caldwell , Killen or Flood) , Sean St Leger is set to sign , Stilic and striker to follow by the end of the transfer window , be surprised if its Robbie Keane , we'll see , Caldwell will soon see the error of his ways , with all due respect Wigan is a backward step , no trophies or European games again only relegation struggles .
