People with real sources,

Is vagner love close to a deal with nufc or at least in talks?

15 Jun 2010 23:38:35
NUFC fans

vagner love is in town. Hopefully concluded by next week apparently. Next no.9?

Also looking at:

loans: sturridge, wilshere, cleverley, JET

sign: reo coker, jenas, albin, ebondo, a Ferdinand, richardson

there just talk I've heard, not official. But have heard love has been seen several times in Newcastle :D

I told you all that mcfc would spend £130mil on 2 players from barca in jan now things have changed they will spend 90mil on 3 players which are done from spain in the know

15 Jun 2010 23:28:19
Riquelme is set to join West Ham on a 2 year deal. This is to be concluded over the next couple of weeks :) great signing for the hammers :)

15 Jun 2010 23:20:01
Wagner love is the uk talking to three clubs newcastle, villa and fulham. Villa pushing hard to make him first signing of the summer. Love wants to conclude any business by the end of next week. Mon to perhaps surprise a few people and bid for elano after the world cup. Yaya toure due complete move to man city shortly.

15 Jun 2010 23:11:12

Fabian Delph to Leeds on season long loan! – Fact
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

Errrr he was ruled out for a year in April 2010, so im sure Villa will let you have him to make tea maybe? Stop saying things that clearly are not true!

15 Jun 2010 22:56:30
David Moyes to be at the Chile Vs Honduras game tomorrow. Will be looking at Alexis Sanchez of Udinesse. With Everton's link with Chile(Country) growing, can see this one happening. Linked with Manchester Utd but will choose Everton. The sale of Pienaar & Yakubu to fund the deal. The sale of Yobo will fund a move for Marchenna from Valencia.
Everton will then go for Landon Donovan with the 7mil available to them.

15 Jun 2010 23:03:12
The world has now gone mad !!

gers fans to tow murray line and say its positive news that the club is no longer for sale !

in statement it clearly says thatd due to champs league money and agreeing to banks business plan they will go ahead and not seek new owner.

3 problems !

1. next years champs need to get past a big gun to get champs league money
2. business plan means more cut backs and sale of assests ie: mcgregor and bougie
3. 24m owed to tax man plus millions more in a fine

the gers fans need to be told the stark truth instead of months of spin and rumour

both old firm will cut their cloth this year and signings will reflect that , don't expect any good signings from either half of glasgow

15 Jun 2010 23:06:44
So now that the Rangers take over is defo not happening, Can someone please tell me some LIKELY targets this summer? Since the kitty stands at 5mill.

15 Jun 2010 22:47:28
In the know.. all i can tell you is there will b 2 new face's @ the emirate's thursday of nxt week not sure who they are but all they would tell me is there both defenders & not frm the prem league not sure on the transfer fee is either

15 Jun 2010 22:49:41
Hi everyone– i post on this site very rarely, only when i have any transfer news.

Everton are in talks with Chelsea about the loan signing of Zhirkov.

Also Riquelme was offered to Moyes but the offer was politely declined– shame really as i think he's a great player.

Moyes is also very keen to keep all of his current squad except Vaughn who he feels needs more regular football– but isn't getting it at Everton. Even a 3m bid for Tony Hibbert was rejected!

Owen Coyle Has Looked Into The Possibility Of Making Eduardo Part Of The Gary Cahill Deal. Bolton Still Haven't Found A Suitable Striker For The New Campaign And With The Aruna Dindane Deal Falling Through, And Seeing Main Targets Like Steven Fletcher Join Wolves, Dindane Joining Qatar And Ivan Klasnic Wanting To Return To His Hometown Team, Wanderers Are Now Very Short Of Striking Targets. Owen Coyle Is Trying To Persuade Arsenal To Make Eduardo Part Of The Cahill Deal But If Not, Coyle Will Bid 4 Million For The Out Of Favour Striker.

Hi all its PsX Con,

In regards to the Manchester City fan who put this :–

"James milner to man city

Here is a rumour coming out of eastlands and villa park, city to offer robinho plus 2 million for james milner as his team in brazil will not pay the 25 million city want for him and don't want him back will see MON take this offer"

First of all Martin O'Neill has clearly stated that it is 30,000,000 or nothing for James Milner. Second MON prefers to go for european players so a more realistic deal would be with ireland and bellamy but again i refer to my first fact. Third and most importantly, you have no basis to make this claim, your just another person who uses this website to make claims and start arguments.

PsX Con, any queries regarding EPL transfers ill happy to help nd Spal I can Help But i highy recommend Daviebhoy

Latest news from inside goodison, martin petrov will sign next week when he gets back from hols, the Yak will go to whfc once they stump up the 7.5k DM wants. if peanuts leaves DM wants bellamy to replace him. could be a swap deal being lined up.

15 Jun 2010 22:32:40
Bristol City have made an offer to Hearts for Andrew Driver of £2.3 Million + Heartly + McCallister.

15 Jun 2010 22:37:44
Several Forest forums are now shouting the news that deals are tied up for SHOREY, PRATLEY and WHITTINGHAM, and they'll be announced very soon.

If this does come out in the next few days, then Forest will walk their way back to the Premiership this season, by a country mile.

"I don't believe this one, but overheard people today, so it's probably as accurate as most said on here, with maicon heading to madrid, sergio ramos will be out of favour, so will look to move to the EPL, so everton may use the 8–9 mil from yakubu +9–10 mil pienaar, for a shock bid. Would be suprised if he moved there though due to wages, chances of winning trophys, and lack of european football, chealse will attempt a 15 mil bid and obviously more likely to win his signiature"

The reason mourinho wants maicon is that he sees ramos as an ideal Centre back for his new look side, beside he would NEVER sign for everton

@Bluenose 72 mate all i heard was that a fee had been agreed "in principle" with those being the key words, i was thinkin maybe that meant there was more deals with utd to follow, but maybe it was to wait for this announcement, tbh mate that's just me speculating, but I do know a fee has been agreed.
And Cheers AVI for the compliment

Hearts rumours – Leigh Griffiths (Dundee), Adam Rooney (Inverness), Craig Bryson (Kilmarnock), Paul Hartley (Bristol) and if we're looking for a winger after Driver moves on don't bet against Ryan Flynn at Falkirk, Edinburgh–born and too good for the 1st Division in Scotland.

"Hey, editor, have you got any Birmingham City rumours? Thanks. {editor's note – Only thing I have heard recently was that Birmingham have contacted Everton and made an enquiry about a player. I haven't bothered posting because it is so vague and I wanted to find out, if I could, who they actually asked after, but the enquiry was dismissed. My bet is Pienaar was the subject, though I am not sure if he would be interested in a move there even if Brum can agree a fee.}"

I heard they were preparing a bid for Leon Osman.
No idea if there is any truth in this but I felt it was my duty to post. {editor's note – yeah that would make sense, I never even thought of him.}

Has anyone got any news on matthew spring?

15 Jun 2010 21:49:27
RE: Torres and Gerrard where instrumental in having Rafa 'removed' from the club – Despite Torre's initial admiration for Rafa, he had become increasingly dismayed by his tactics and decision making and, along with Gerrard, who was opening accused by Rafa in training of being racist after he made a throw away comment to a young Spanish defender, they both stated to the board that it was them or the boss.

If Gerrard & Torres, or any other player for that matter, were instrumental in getting Rafa sacked then the club has stooped to its lowest level. Be it true, and I have my doubts, then Torres & Gerrard should have been the ones shown the door. What manager is going to entertain going to a club that is run by its players?

15 Jun 2010 21:42:27
To the below who said this!!

To all the people on here who say that Liverpool Football Club has been sold – I have said it many times – It has not – I work at the banking regulators in London and because of the involvement of the banks we would have to see all the documents and give agreement to the sale – It has not happened – a sale is at least 18 months away. At the moment all RBS are interested in is getting the next loan installment by the end of next week.

Oh another thing – all proceeds from players sales are going straight to RBS. There is very little money for transfers and until a new manager is appointment and that may be weeks away yet, apart from the ones that have been agreed, nothing will happen in that department. Annealicia

You are a tt , worked in banking since 1972, we do not have to ask the regulator anything when it comes to make loan, business decision.

If you were a regulator you would know your role, it is to ensure banks conform to the Banking rules and regulations. our only powers exist when we break these regulation.

GET A GRIP YOU PRAT!

Leeds United are bracing themselves for three big name exits in the next week. Well valued playmaker Robert Snodgrass is excpected to complete a move to Nottingham Forest Tommorow. The fee is believed to be around £2 million and Snodgrass will sign a 3 year deal. Luciano Becciho is also braced for a move away from Elland Road. The want away striker is set for a £700,000 move to Derby County. Leeds hoped they could use Becciho as bait to lure Derby into prising away with star striker Rob Hulse. However after Leeds were rebuffed, they accepted a good deal and will now use the money to help sign either Gary Hooper or Marcus Tudgay. Finally Leeds are preparing for a £1.7million move for Patrick Kisnorbo. The Aussie defender has been linked with moves away and Wigan are set to tie aup a deal for Kisnorbo later this week. An injury ruled Kisnorbo out of the world cup but the Premier outfit are confident they will get their man. On a brighter note, Leeds will complete the double swoop of Michael Doyle and Jay McCeverly, from Coventry and Derby respectibly, at the end of the week.
________________________________________________________________________________________
Haaaaa all of that stuff about players is BULL, (Snoddy) Snodgrass would not leave as is Leeds' best player, Becchio will not leave as Leeds need him for their promotion push. AND the biggest BULL there kisnorbo, he won't be leaving, the best defender Leeds has and he is player of the season 09/10

To this guy

Glasgow Rangers will by the end of the week be bought over by a buyer from the United Arab Emirates for an estimated £48 million pounds.

If you want to ignore this by all means do so, but I have it on very very good grounds that the deal has been done as a result of David murray Saying rangers are no longer for sale.

WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET THIS FROM, I'M GOING TO BE BLUNT HERE PAL AND SAY BCKS TO YOU. THIS SORT OF RUBBISH IS GETTING OUT OF HAND. UNLESS YOUR THE GUY BUYING THEM STOP THIS MADNESS, I ACTUALLY THINK YOUR A CELTIC FAN ON THE WIND UP.

Gerrard will be leaving liverpool this season, as he as confirmed it to his family. I was in the wellington pub in hale village with a few old school mates and stevies brother was also with us paul who i have known since about the age of 11 although he is more a mate of a mate. Lad are kid is leaving this summer get billy hills an put a score on it! This is what he told us, granted it was after a day on the ale when he told us but that's what he said.

15 Jun 2010 21:21:27
@ Johnny, the Holy goalie is on hols the now, but I think he is on his way, unless he takes a significant drop from 40k a week, as for a striker, it looks as if this Murphy one is signing, tbh i'm not impressed by that, but I do have a strong feeling that we will bring at least one big name, a crowd pleaser so to speak, whether that be on loan or permanent, Also Sol, and maybe 2/3 other squad players

Any news on celtic signing joe ledley??

15 Jun 2010 21:15:03
––––––fox––––––

to the editor, Peanuts will not be leaving Everton this summer unless Everton recieve a crazy bid £12–15m. Talk at goodison is he will sign a new contract with Arteta and Baines.

Yak will leave as ive said 2 weeks ago for £8.5m up front with no add ons. Ben Arfa top target and a big possibility, wants Cordoza but won't be able to pay £20m so Bellamy, Keane and Bent targets the latter unlikely.

––––––––fox–––––––––– {editor's note – will be great for Everton if they keep hold of Pienaar, no wonder Wenger had him watched so much at Ajax.}

––––––––––––––––––––
You are clearly a Plymouth fan. If you were an MK Dons supporter you would know it's Peter Leven not Paul Leven and Aaron Wilbraham not Arron Wilbraham.

I've heard that Scott Golbourne has been offered a contract by Bristol Rovers but has yet to respond.

Any other Bristol Rovers news?

Typical blue top thinking there player is worth double the value, Yakubu is worth 6 Million top, and there has not been a formal offer yet, and Moyes would snap the hand off anyone who offered that.
Stephen Pienaar will not go for more than 9 Million due to him being in the last year of his contract.

Riquelme to West Ham
Toure to Man City
Barry to Liverpool

Agree Ed? {editor's note – Lescott wasn't worth 24 million but Moyes managed to screw that out of Man City, so I wouldn't be surprised if he got more than Yakubu's value out of West Ham. Though having said that, considering he can barely move these days his true value is probably not even 5mill. Pienaar seems about right though, they will miss his energy and ability next season, or the money they could have got if they hang on to him for next season.}

Ok typical red firstly. Barry to liverpool? Yeah just like last summer..and the summer before..and the summer before..and just like someone's just bought liverpool..and now someone else has.

TAKE NOTE. LIVERPOOL ARE SKINT. EVERTON ARE SKINT. MANCHESTER UNITED ARE SKINT. The only big name players coming into the EPL will be through chelsea and stt£h.

A formal offer hasn't been made because Moyes has met with West Ham and specifically said no to certain figures (7m being one). Pienaar? Spurs and villa have both said they'd pay 12m at least. Typical kopite scum. You go on about the true fans on merseyside being bitter. Take a look at yourself.

15 Jun 2010 21:03:23
I thought that I had put a stop to our banking regulator, but he is back.
I have been in Banking for 24 years and got quite senior. I lent money to lots of big businesses. Whilst banks are very highlyt regulated, we have never submitted agreements to them. You never see loan documents, salre agreements etc.
PLEASE!! STOP TELLING LIES ON THIS PAGE.

We will know if & when Liverpool are sold when we are told by the new owners. Nobody at the banks, lawyers, Premier league will talk up front.

Rangers Football Club are no longer up for sale!
A statement from David Murray on the Clubs website has confirmed that, with the secured future of the management team and an improvement in the financial situation, MIH no longer wish to consider offers for their majority shareholding in the club.

I think i speak for all rangers fans when i say i am releived that the future of the club is finally sorted and i look forward to concentrating on the football and supporting Rangers in their bid for 3 in a row.

so now some transfer targets:
Goodwillie will sign for £1.5mil(no one will pay 3mil)
Welcome for £600,000
Conway for £750,000

Also looking at North Korean No.9 Jong Tae–Se of
Kawasaki Frontale. Fee would be around £1mil

players leaving Ibrox will be:
Bougherra – Arsenal/Spurs (£7mil)
Wilson – Liverpool (£4mil)
Beasley – US/Newcastle (free)
Smith – Norwich (free–done)
Boyd – Newcastle (free)
Novo – Sporting Gijon (free–done)

Thomson's contract will be extended and Davie Weir and Kirk Broadfoot will sign new contracts before the end off next week.

Ngers' principal shareholder Sir David Murray has announced that the club is no longer for sale.

Last week potential buyer Andrew Ellis and his company, RFC Holdings, informed the Stock Exchange that they were in "advanced negotiations" with Murray.

But a statement on the Rangers website says the club has been unable to find a deal that benefits the club itself, its shareholders and its fans.

bbc sport.

This news brings no suprise to many rangers fans as no suitable buyer. there is absolutely no point in bringing in a buyer who does not have rangers football club at heart and this is the reason why this has came to surface.

Rangers had many problems dealings with finance but due to the success of the season that has just past and the sale of a couple of players such as mcgregor, thomson, wilson and maybe bougherra will bring in a large some of money which then Rangers can control there debt with ease and have more than £7m availible for players.

so sorry celtic fans for bursting your bubble this news isn't bad news its actually good news for a change with rangers finances.

And as far as rumours are and I stress only rumours:

Rangers outs:

Boyd – middlesborough/newcastle/turkey
Thomson – £4.5m to middlesborough/newcastle
Mcgregor – £5m to benfica/middlesborough.s.lisbon
Bougherra – £6.5m to newcastle/birmingham/other.

in: £16million.

Rangers ins:

Goodwillie – £1m
bamba – £1m
possible tonel as part exhange from s.lisbon

any more suggestions ??

thanks for reading

No massive signings for lierpool we can't afford it! expect to see good players who lack 1st team football i.e

s.w.p – kuyt will probs follow rafa would be worth looking at s.w.p situation especially if city buy everyone this summer

Ballack – mascheranos on the move Ballacks free hes a short term possibility

j.cole, petrov, s.ireland possible and would love milner and elia but i doubt 3/5 of these. m.johnson from city was a possibility but apparantly he likes a drink since the death of his father a while ago what a talent he was lpool will never buy an alky. hope this gets published im the only red fan with realistic rumours/possibilities

red fans expect loanings and good bench warmers teams want to cash in on

At the back he looks equally comfortable and composed. He assisted[3] on many of Ghana's goals at the 2007 African Under–17 Championship in Togo in March 2007 as well as the U17 World Cup where he was a standout in all seven games he played[4].

[edit] Senior Internationals
On November 13, 2007, three weeks after his 17th birthday, the young wingback sensation received his first senior International call–up from Ghana Coach Claude Le Roy for a FIFA International friendly match against Togo at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra, Ghana on November 18, 2007[5] after another excellent display, assisting twice on a superb hat–trick by Ransford Osei against Togo's U17 team[6] in a Junior International friendly at the same venue on Sunday November 11, 2007.

The U–17 World Cup star was part of Ghana's squad for the 2008 African Cup of Nations[7]. However on 10 January 2008, Ghana's Team Doctor Martin Engmann told the media that the youngster has not recovered from an ankle injury[8] he sustained in the Pre–Tournament Training Camp at the Jebel Ali Hotel Resort and Spa in Dubai[9] and was excluded from the Squad together with injured teammates Matthew Amoah and Captain Stephen Appiah[10]

Any Cambridge United transfer rumours?

15 Jun 2010 20:09:22
So daviebhoy what happened to your source telling you rangers are not for sale now ! yess sir david murray is not selling the club

you are a lier and every one of your rumours have not happened either {editor's note – I am a bit lost as to the point of this post. You admit Daviebhoy got it right about Rangers not being sold, then you call him a liar (note the spelling!) and say he has got nothing right! I am not sure if you are confused or just not very bright, but he has clearly got this right long before the newspapers or Sky Sports.}

In respons to LFC News:
More news from the wifey who works for Barclays – 1 Churchill Place, Canary Wharf – As stated on a few occasions, Liverpool has been sold and will be announced after the world cup has finished and a number of discrete offers made and accepted for players – The problem at the moment, is getting the chosen manager on board – The new owners have approached their target direct and made a number of promises, but he is reluctant to sign until everything has been formally announced.

The owners have assured him all is in order, but as no–one within the club (with the exception of the current owners and Broughton) knows anything about the deal, he is still worried.

He has asked the owners to prove they are for real, and that is why we will see a top quality player commit to the reds shortly – none other than Mr Tevez, who will cost in the region of £35m

More to follow !

Sorry don't believe you without proper evidence. What's your wife name and her position at Barclays? People who work in the city, government and banks don't divulge information due to confidentiality clauses. They would automatically sacked. Please also name these so called discrete offers for players and who these players are. The World cup is still ongoing therefore I doubt that any player will make a decision about there future until after it has finished. (I.E. Next month) If everything you say is happening do you not think that the new manager would decide who his transfer target are and not the new owner.
I wish people would stop building up our hope with rubbish

Also there is a few good defender from france that are on a free mate

15 Jun 2010 20:04:42
@ dj Paulm

Cheers for that mate,
And on the subject of me posting a lot, about 80% of it is replies to someone having a go.

And on the subject of aeverything I say is a load of cr@p (as someoine said earlier) it has been reported tonight and posted below, MIH have taken Rangers off the Market, I posted an email on here almost 2 weeks ago, stating that this is exactly hat would happen, talks would ensue, but would fall through, and Murray would take them off the market (it was a lot longer and more detailed than that) and after i posted it i became the target for lots of abuse from Rangers fans saying I knew nothing, then a week ago when an announcement was made that talkover talks were at an advanced stage, I still stood by my original post, and was given dogs abuse on here.
Someone asked me earlier about ellis, and less than 4 hours ago I posted that Murray would take them off the market.
I don't claim to know anyone within Ibrox and never have, however I do know a few people involved in the SFA/scottish football, which is where I get my info from.
And on another note, Obertans agent came out today and said he will be at UTD next year not goin on loan anywhere, another statement I made, yet was vilified for saying, as it was about Rangers and I had no right to?? I thought this was a rumour site, an exchange of info, whether that info is good OR bad for your team.

Anyways djpaulm you seem like one of the decent fans on here, and IMO I think Murray did the right thing, he's protecting RFC as a football club, he could have taken the easy route, sold them, got some $$$ and a weight off his shoulders, BUT he didn't, his heart is at Ibrox and he wants to do what's best for them, hence not selling, or discussing to sell anymore until an appropriate FOOTBALL investor comes in

Hi All, PsX Con reporting in,

Word has began to escalate of the deal involving Ibrahimovich's move to Manchester City has broken down due to City Not meeting The price the La Liga Giants Put on Him. Also Swedish giant does not want to move to the premier league.

So It is believed that Manchester City will turn there sight on Brazil and Sevilla ace Luis Fabiano. The player would cost the sum of 25,000,000 euro's and would want atleast a £100,000 a week in wages if he was to make the move to eastlands.

As I said its word spreading across the press room but with football and the money Man City have you never know.

PsX Con – as before any quries regarding the english leagues im your man, not to hot on the SPL but im sure daviebhoy would be more than happy to help you =D

Real Madrid have made an enquiry about Gael Clichy, Arsenal do not want to sell, and nothing will happen until after the world cup. But with a player of Gibbs quality already at the club as a ready made replacement a silly offer (€20m+) would be accepted, Arsenal would replace him with Leonardo Henrique Veloso (CFR Cluj) for £1m, he would be back up for Gibbs

Plymouth argyle to announce a thanksgiving feast in the mayflower stand home park for anyone, with the emphasis on any americans in plymouth, the feast will be funded by argyles american director joe plumeri who wants the greens to have a unique way of cracking the american market, than the obvious global brand takeover which never actually happens.Argyle hope the huge historical link along with the club links ie mayflower stand, the pilgrims, will give the club a real impact. Maybe some americans post world cup could come in, Freddy adu has been linked that's probably pie in the sky.

Annealicia

Torres and Gerrard where instrumental in having Rafa 'removed' from the club – Despite Torre's initial admiration for Rafa, he had become increasingly dismayed by his tactics and decision making and, along with Gerrard, who was opening accused by Rafa in training of being racist after he made a throw away comment to a young Spanish defender, they both stated to the board that it was them or the boss.

The yanks maybe a lot of things, but stupid they are not and realised the two players contribute over 60% of all merchandise revenue, so off Rafa went

Is it true samaras is joining toon? I hope not as it would be a poor signing. I mean he's been struggling to get into an spl team so that says it all.
We will have a little money to spend. People keep going on about Ashley saying he won't spend any, when in actual fact he's come out and said he doesn't want to spend a lot but will support hughton on signings.

a couple of these I've heard possible:
sturridge or welbeck on loan.

Rumours are rife that if Lucas and Mascherano leave then Diarra of Madrid and Carmona of Reggina will come in as replacements. Lfc had looked into the possibility of Schweinsteiger as he is unsettled at his early season treatment by the Bayern fans, but they were knocked back by Bayern as they don't want to sell. Even if they did I doubt LFC would be able to match their asking price.

Edson Buddle and Robbie Finley to earn themselves a move to europe. Heard that Blackpool was keen on Buddle.

Newcastle, NUFC news

As I mentioned before Kris Boyd is not a target neither is Georgios Samaras. Wish I could confirm Vαgner Love, but I haven't heard anything on this rumour. I had heard that Oba Martins was on a list of possible loan signings. I have been told there is money to spend but below the 10 million Chris Hughton was hoping for, he's looking to buy 2–3 players RB, winger and ST are priorities. Nedum Onuoha is still a transfer target, but other cheaper options are being sought. Steven Taylor is waiting to hear the final details of his contract offer before deciding on his future. Andy Carroll will not be moving to Stoke and is looking for an improved contract. Newcastle are preparing themselves for bids regarding Jonαs Gutiιrrez, who will be sold if any club meets their valuation.

Liverpool, LFC news

Every member of the squad has a price; the Americans are looking to consolidate their debt. No deal has yet been reached over the sale of the club, there are a number of interested parties despite the asking price but no offers have been received. Good news is Torres will refuse any moves to Manchester City but would listen to offers from Barcelona. Like Torres, Gerrard will not move to Man City. His most likely destination is Real Madrid but is waiting for the end of the World Cup and the announcement on a new Liverpool manager before deciding. Some money from player sales will be reinvested, but there will be no big money signings; Sergio Agόero will not be arriving sadly.

Other news

Joe Cole will go to either Manchester United or Arsenal .
Yaya Toure to Manchester City.
Cesc Fabregas will stay at Arsenal for at least one more season.

Samaras is set to complete a move from Celtic to Newcastle for £750,000.

The Toon have a budget of £1m tops, and this will be the big signing for the summer (Unfortunately for NUFC fans)

They will also try to bring in Wilshere, Cleverly and Weiss on loans. That should complete their summer business

Sunderland Transfer Rumours:

John Mensah – Either another loan deal or a pay–as– you–play contract.
Nedum Onuoha – Apparently a £3.5 Million deal is close
Taye Taiwo – Nigeria left back wanted for £6 million
Matthew Upson – £7 million
Deals for GK, Simon Mignolet and RB, Marcos Angeleri have been agreed and should be completed in the near future.
We may go back to Hamburg for right back Guy Demel if he impresses at the world cup.
Possibility of signing slovenian Robert Koren who has been released by West Brom.

Personally i would like to see French midfielder Yoann Gourcuff at Sunderland next season how ever this is highly unlikely, and is also not a roumor just what i would like :).

Arsene Wenger is eager to sign Mesut Ozil From Werder Bremen, fee likely to be in region of £15–18 million. He has been regularly watched and Wenger feels he will bring balance to the midfield with Cesc leaving.Gourcuff is looking unlikely as he struggles to produce on the big stage.Wenger will try to bring in Subotic but fee is too high, Kjaer is a viable option at decent price £10 million.Wenger has long been linked with PSV's Afellay his versatility would be ideal for Arsenal with Walcott's inconsistancy and Arshavin's lack of interest in certain games.Fee will be in region of £8–12 million.Sad to say but unlikely to see a good goal keeper coming which will be arsenal's achilles heel again for the next season.Money likely to be spent around £35 million.

Agree Ed? {editor's note – Lescott wasn't worth 24 million but Moyes managed to screw that out of Man City, so I wouldn't be surprised if he got more than Yakubu's value out of West Ham. Though having said that, considering he can barely move these days his true value is probably not even 5mill. Pienaar seems about right though, they will miss his energy and ability next season, or the money they could have got if they hang on to him for next season.}

15 Jun 2010 18:07:22
Just something to consider regarding Man Utd transfers:
With the new rule taking place this season with max 25 players over 21, MU currently have exactly 25 players over 21 in the squad – and the only ones I can see going out on loan are Hernandez, Diouf and De Laet. So unless one of those three goes out on loan, Man Utd will have to sell a player(s)

To the 12y old who posted this

Makes me laugh on here it really does. People posting crap, wind–up merchants, and Copy and Paste supposed ITK's. ( You know who you are DB )

Should it not be just the usual snippets of info and rumour if not it just a joke site.

Anyway, here's a rumour for you. Liverpool to be sold by mid–July, due diligence is complete and only the World Cup is holding things up. The new manager is there working. Gerrad will not leave, Torres will give atleast another season. Player power didn't just get Rafa the boot but also will keep the Yanks at bay. Mascherano will go, his fee will be payed off debts by those leeches, any other money brought in will go on transfers. My source for these ' rumours ' ? A current player.

Zulu

If the club had been bought then why would the Masch Transfer go to paying off Debt ? as if it is already bought as you claim a price would have been settled on based on the assets of the club at that time so if players where sold before the deal went through then the price would have to be reduced by that amount also so there wouldn't be a point in selling Masch at that time if a new owner wanted to sell him then that would be a different matter but what is the point of getting rid of one set of owners who stacked the club up with lage debt for another doing the same ?

Go back to your drawing books

Everton rumour.. West Ham have raised their offer for Yakubu to £7.5 million up front with another £2.5million extras based on goals and appearances.. However, apparently Moyes has called West Ham's bluff by saying they can have the Yak for £7million but they must throw in Scott Parker as part of the deal. That should make the raise the their offer for the Yak. Expect West Ham to offer £9.5million up front late on next week. Moyes is rumoured to have identified a centre half, a central midfielder and another forward to be brought in early July so he'll ensure his players have a good pre season.

Liverpool Football Club Latest

It has come to my attention from a very reliable source (my 9 month old son), that we have been taken over by Arabs.

Our new manager is none other than Jose Mourinho and he has been assured by the new owners that money is available to buy Lionel Messi, Xavi, Cristiano Ronaldo and KaKa who will all follow him to Anfield.

People please get a grip our beloved club has become a laughing stock. If you have rumours which are genuine then that's fine by me, but stop all this rubbish about takeovers and player wish lists.

I firmly believe that we will be taken over very soon (sooner rather than later) but we will all have to wait and see.

Sources:Yorkshire post/Talksport

There is NO mention of any of this in the Yorkshire Post, nor has there been any talk of it on Talksport. Becchio has already stated he is excited to be linking up with Paynter and Snoddy is trying to persuade McArthur to join Leeds, so why would he then leave himself. Paddy K is currently out until October at lthe earliest, why would Wigan try to sign him when he will miss nearly 3 months of the season, if this one is true then it may happen in Jan but not before.

Why do people see it as their duty to post blatent lies?? Its really quite sad, there will be very little transfer dealings before July 12th as all managers have their eyes on the world cup. Get a grip

go on then i will bite

Snodgrass signed a new deal until 2013, his word when signing the deal
"It's been great since I came down here and I really love the club. From the fans to the back–room staff and the other players, it's a great place to be and hopefully I can repay the faith that's been shown in me

Becchio also in talks to sign a new deal, worth more to Leeds then 700k

Kisnorbo is out until December and probably won't be match fit until January, why would any team spend money and player that's not going to play and when fit probably only worth 500k

Michael Doyle and Jay McEveley are not signing for Leeds. Doyle is being linked to Norwich, because
Darel Russell from Norwich is to sign for Leeds and Fede Bassone from Swansea also coming in both for Free

Liverpool:
1 of liverpools main targets Eljero elia of hamburg will not be followed anymore and liverpool will turn there interests else were after elias impressive preformance for holland nearly doubled hamburgs asking price. former manchester city player petrov will now be followed up but he is unlikely to join liverpool. so there attention will turn to Royston drenthe of real madrid he is unhappy at the moment and liverpool are looking to take advantage of that the money will be made from part of the mascherano deal that sees him going to inter an the deal that sees riera leave aswell. drenthe is seen as a player that can fill in at left back aswell as being a midfielder aswell. real madrid now no about LFCs interest and will use him aswell as another unhappy real madrid player as bait to try and land Gerrard but expect torres and gerrard to STAY at liverpool for at least another year as they will give the new manager and owners a chance to show that they are trying to take the club in the right direction

If that's a thinly veiled dig at me, can you please support it, the only thing i've opied and pasted was the quote from Obertans agent that was release today, you didn;t actually think I was trying to pass that off as my own did ya, hence I said at the start of it here's a wee quote.

So are you gonna substantiate your claim?

And as for the "rumour" you just posted that you got from a "player"
1.it's pretty widely accepted that gerrard wuld stay now
2. as above with Torres
3.the yanks and the players wanted Rafa out? i'm not a liverpool fan ITK, but I thought that was why he got the sack? not exactly info
4.MAscherano will go, again widely accepted/known

I love how ppl come on here have a dig and don't substaniate their claims, and don't answer any replys put to them,

So go back to your subboteo table and keep talking to your "players"

You are clearly on a wind up here.
1) Snodgrass is going nowhere, isn't worth 3 million anyway.
2) Becchio LOVES leeds, and will NOT be leaving.
3) Unless Wigan want to sign someone who is out for the first part of the season, they might want to move on.

I don't think so. This isn't in either of these. The first anyone will know abou transfer dealings is when it appears on the Leeds website.

Insulting to the intelligence – why would Leeds start selling their best players following promotion? And £1.7 mil for Kisnorbo, who is currently injured? LOL

Im unsure but remember Guardiola sitting on the offer of a contract from Barca and i think he took it.
At the time he was considering a break from management because he was working 7 days a week solid and he was saddened by the fact he couldnt spend that much time with his family, he seriously was considering leaving for a prolonged time, i don't intend to piss of liverpool fans but i don't think he is the manager for liverpool at the moment, Barca and their fans love him, but that could all change with an unsuccessful season!

Arrgghhhhhh!!!

Will people please stop talking cok on this iste in relation to LFC.

No one has bought LFC.. and i don't think there is any deal imminent.

We will probably end with KD in charge ( I was at the 4–4 draw with Everton. and if he couldn't cope last time then i don't see how he will cope now !!)

Anyway prob KD as Manager.. 5 out 2 in.. hardly any spend.. he will persuade Torres to stay for one more season..

That's it !! No saviours from the Middle East.. we will just have to get on with it and hope that KD does not get a bad case of the shingles again !!!

Sheffield Wednesday are looking to strengthen up front and are looking for a strong hold–up player to accompany Paul Heffernan up front, to help cope with the high impact football of League One. Their main target is Kayode Odejayi from Colchester as the former Barnsley player has a proven track record at League One level. Irvine is thought to be lining up a undisclosed 3–figure sum for the Nigerian Hitman in the coming weeks. Keep a look out on this!!

Man U rumours:

I know saf has said he will only buy one big signing on what deals he has already done but this is just a smokescreen so man city and the big teams don't inflate the price of there players!

From last season we looked fairly solid at the back with good back ups, this rumor about vidic is in the balance although he is the best defender in the premier league I think that we would be fine wthout him as johnny Evans is class, but I think he should stay as I can see us being more fragile at the back like when japp stam left!

Where we need to players are a good centre mid if Hargreaves is unable to make it bAck to his best we need a creative mid which is what we missed this yr and another striker to partner Rooney, and that ridiculous rumour that Rooney is leaving is rubbish, he wants to finish at united and become a legend! A keeper will be brought In jan. We need a left wing but nit as much as the other positions!

The options for cm: de rossi and lass diArra for 20m

acm: modric could be a possiblity eventhk signed new contract: potential for 15m and part ex with carrick going other way, david silva for 25m or hamsik of Napoli for 20m is another option! I think we will also sign joe cole, as he would go to arsenal but arsene wenger doesn't w t another person who plays in behind as he has too many!

As for strikers I think that man u will buy dzeko who has proved himself in the german league and will cost 25m which would be worth it as still quite young. Other options are benzema who had a poor season for real and would cost 20m but saf might not be willing to take that risk after his flop at real!

So I think man u will buy de rossi depending on fitness of Hargreaves and modric with part ex of carrick and will buy dzeko from wolfsburg. And will buy akinfeev in January on a free! Man u won't offload berbs and will give him one more season to prove himself!

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

Hey wily, I haven't heard anything new transfers coming in to Rangers, but if you're a betting man, Lay a few quid on Geegs going to Benfica, I know there's been a lot of talk of him going their or S.Lisbon, but you can bet yur bottom dollar he'll be signing on at Benfica.

As for Ellis, I put a post on here about a week before all the Ellis stuff came out that talks were in advabce stages, and the post was just an email that had been sent to me, and I put it on here, it basically said that Ellis is legitimately interested in Rangers BUT there is no way the deal will go through for sevaral reasons. He'll make in–roads to try and get closer to a deal, but when it comes down to it, there is no money men with him. He's hoping that if he gets close to a deal, he can convince potential suitors to invest, in a statement he actually said that with the plans he has, Rangers will be out of debt and making 22.5m profit in its first year, now where he's getting that from I don't know? that sounds like some real estate venture to me as well as footballing business. Tbh, I really don't think the Ellis deal will go through, only other option is King, but he's in S.Africa facing over 3–– charges of fraud and tax evasion. Don't be surprised if Murray takes them off the market, Murray (as you well know) bleeds blue, he will not sell HIS club to anyone that doesn;t have 100% interest in taking Rangers, as a football club, not a real estate asset, forward.

Just my informed opinion tho mate

Just a little quote for all the ones who have said that Obertan's loan move to Rangers is a done deal, and he'll definetly be playing at ibrox next year, and that it has been signed for a long time:

Obertan's agent, Karim Djaziri, revealed: "Gabriel is going to stay with Manchester United next season.

"We spoke at length with the manager and the club at the end of last season and there wasn't any intention of him being loaned out to another club."

So who's fans is it that talk nonsense?

First of all' is this rumour site the daviebhoy site? Secondly, major developments in the takeover saga at LFC. There is an american group led by ex chairman of wal–mart that is close to buying the club. They want joachim low as the new manager as his contract is up after the world cup. Dont you think that if Hodgson was in the frame he would have been approached by now as the same for KENNY. Think about it.

Also stop saying that a firesale will help pay of debts and increase the two yanks profits. Its nonesense. If LFC sell their top assets the value of the club plummets so they walk away with less.

Finally Sergio Aguerro will sign a deal with LFC. IT WILL HAPPEN FROM THE SALE OF MASCH.

I have it on good authority that Chelsea will not be spending much at all this summer, they will be looking to find a replacement for Bosingwa, he is wanted by a few clubs and apparently is not part of Ancelotti's future plans. Srna will be Chelsea's replacement with Ivanovic as decent cover.

Benayoun will be bought no matter what people say, Liverpool want 8 million for him whereas Chelsea want to pay just 6.5m, nonetheless a deal will be reached. Sylvain Marveaux is the another signing, he will cost up to 10 million and expect a bid for Andy Carroll, Carlo sees him as a possible replacement for Drogba in a year or two.

Apart from these guys there will be no one else coming in, there will be no big signings despite what Mr Buck has said in the past. Youth will be brought in from the reserves as Chelsea need to meet the new Premier league rulings. Ballack, belletti, Deco, J Cole, Hilario will all be released to ease the wage bill and many reserve players have been bumped up to the first team squad.

Check it out on Chelsea's Wikipedia page. {editor's note – I have to admit I have been thinking the same thing, wiki is just not a good enough source to count. What about anyone else? Am I being harsh or should I disallow wiki references as pointless?}

Got an email from my source from Celtic Park and he tells me that The James Vaughan rumors are aload of crap and Celtic have made and offer for 2 Front men he says 1 might be Gary Hooper as Lennon has expressed his interest. he said Last week Sol Campbell will be in before friday expect his shirt number to be 23. Liam Lawerence will not sign for celtic neither will jimmy bullard. the midfielder that celtic are looking at is actually Micky O'Connor from sctorphe as he is a life long Celtic Supporter and is from a catholic area of Belfast. Leaving will be McManus he will sign for Gordan Strachans men. Samaras will go to Italy to play his football next year.
ZZ will also leave and he will sign for Reading.

Daviebhoy you seem to know alot of celtic rumors are these the ones you have heard of

Shorey – £1.5 – rising to £3m depending on promotion.
Austin – £1m – plus preseasons at Swindon for next 3 seasons.

I have no one in the know at Anfield but I can tell you one thing for certain.. Gerrard wll not be leaving Liverpool FC! He was the main drive behind Rafa getting the flick! Highly unlikely Torres will be leaving in my opinion also. Benayoun is reportedly going to Chelsea 1) he is not good enough for Chelsea and 2) he complained about not getting a consistent run for LFC do you really think he'll get more time at Chelsea? Rafa will surely make a move for Mascherano, Kuyt and Lucas (good riddance, Rafa is probably the only manager in the world that rates him) If Liverpool bring in Martin O'Neill expect him to bring with him Young and Agbonlahor. If it's Hodgson comes in look out for Zamora coming across to back up Torres. My pick however is Vicente DEL BOSQUE. You heard it here first! #MKB# YNWA

15 Jun 2010 14:05:18

Check it out on Chelsea's Wikipedia page.

Leeds will this morning announce the signing of winger George Boyd from Barry Fry's Peterborough.
The fee is to be 1m plus player swap involving Leeds full back Andy Hughes and midfielder Bradley Johnson.

Boyd has been BFP's player of the year for two seasons and was on loan last season at Forest – he's a class act.

1) Its afternoon – nothing announced.

2) Andy Hughes has just signed an extended 1 year contract so not going anywhere.

3) Bradley Johnson is committed to the club for another 2 years and won't leave Leeds for a League 1 team.

Andy C

4) Get Real !!

Hibs would never give Yogi £2.5m to spend, finances have always been the top priority and with the new training ground and stand built, more money can be invested in players but £2.5m is ridiculous. Maybe Hart (free, another defender for cheap and at most £200k for a single player). £2.5m is a no go but we do not need money to do well, it is about passion and Riordan, Nish etc will want to stay at the club they love. This is after telling Andy Keoch he is no longer part of Wolves plans, and after he has just brought a new house in Mere Green Sutton.
Also Villa are ready to tempt Kevin Doyle away, and it is believed this will happen if the Carroll trabnsfer goes ahead"

Which it wont, Caroll is black and white to the core wants a 7 year contract and with due respect i doubt Mad Micks army would be that appealing for the lad to uproot his young family for..

You can have Best and Shola though

Yossi inside info !

I am from Liverpool and I do know someone who is very close to Yossi. He first had a meeting with Chelsea in March and then with Purslow on the basis that if Rafa goes, he stays. As you may have gathered Yossi did not see eye to eye with Rafa. With what happened it left him in two minds as his family are setted in Liverpool. However, sadly in my view, it looks like he is signing any day now as it is all about gaining success as player and he obviously feels he is not going to achieve that at L'pool in the short term.Best of luck to him ! Except when you play the Reds !

King kenny to be Liverpool manager, he is all liverpool can afford and embarasingly hodgson is using the situation to get a better contract at fulham. While kenny is a legend at anfield, it is clear to the players that it is asign of things to come mascherano is learning basic Italian while he is away, and torres has tasked his agent with tying up loose ends, expect rumours about gerrard to surface as soon as England are out the world cup and he will be on his way any sales will be snaffled by the banks and minimal funds will be released. Any sale for the club is miles away. Knife edge times fir Liverpool. This season could be the first in s long time that European qualification could be considered unlikely.

No idea about Zezinando rejecting Hearts last summer– as I said I've never heard the name before but I imagine it's the same.

And, no it's not made up– not at my end at least. Mate of mine who lives in Portugal sent me a text with the info– I trust him. So yes, Zezinando to Leeds is my prediction.

Never heard of this guy, but it's a great name– Zezinando will be signing for Leeds on a free in the next couple of days according to his agent and the president of his former club in Portugal who offered him a one year extension that he refused. Zezinando is a talented ball playing defensive midifelder apparently. Not a Leeds fan, but does that fill a need in the team?

is this the same Zezinando (along side Joao Moreira) that was offered a 3 year deal at Hearts last summer but turn it down?

15 Jun 2010 13:00:37
It has gone very quiet at Anfield/Melwood. This is partly because all staff have been told in no uncertain terms that they should not divulge any info whilst takeover talks are happening, but also because bad things are afoot. My source, a football journalist, understands that the current owners are actively encouraging bids for top players but, in line with Hicks' stance over the sale price of the club, they are only willing to accept significant bids. They believe they can wipe out up to £200m of their debt before they sell, giving them extra time to find a buyer and increase their overall profit. It means no player is safe. Agents have been alerted to this and this is why stories have suddenly appeared linking Johnson (28m), Aquilani (15m)and Kuyt (8m) with moves, on top of Gerrad (40m), Masch (30m)and Torres (70m). Yossi (6.5m) has always been intent on leaving. The new manager will be given some funds to buy replacements but also encouraged to promote from the reserves.

To Tommy Smith. How come your mate who is an independent football writer knows what going on at LFC. Everyone knows that the Liverpool Echo has good links to the club and yet they have reported nothing. As a previous person wrote NOTHING is coming out of Anfield, the place has a total media lockdown. Now it could be as suggested that the club is in a truely direly state but I'm going to look and the brightside and hope thinks are being sorted and the future will be bright. One last question if the club have no money then why go for ROy Hodgson? Surely it would make more sense to stck with Kenny as he knows the club inside out and could make the most of a bad situation

Arsenal Summer Transfer News:

There will be a number of new arrivals at the emirates this summer, most names have been brought up in the press. All the talk of Wenger never signing more than 3 players in any window is rubbish, he has worked on a tight budget in comparison to the other big teams in England but now with a recorded profit of over 45mil, he is finally in a position to invest more into his playing staff in order to win trophies and further increase the clubs stocks value.

Campbell and Gallas will join Silvestre and Senderos out the door, moving to Celtic and Juventus respectively. This will see the introduction of Micah Richards and Jan Vertoghen. Laurent Koscielny has be very closely linked but Lorient do not want to sell their prize assets and Wenger will not go to £10mil for the centre half. Richards is a strong, quick & versatile defender that will also increase the number of home grown members in the squad., AW looked at him 2 years ago and an £8mil move could be on the cards. Vertoghen had a 1st class season for Ajax and is a talented young player, commanding a fee of around just £6mil. Midfield is an area Arsenal have an abundance of talent , Gourcouff WILL NOT be joining, it is just the press trying to identify a possible replacement should cesc leave..when in reality Nasri and Ramsey are 2 perfect players to fit that mould. Joe Cole has apparently signed a 3 year contract subject to him proving his fitness during the world cup and passing a full medical when he returns. This could potentially spell the end of Rosicky's troubled times at the emirates who is rumoured to be attracting interest from German clubs Leverkusen, Bremen and Hamburg.

Finally there have been talks between Arsenal and Fulham about the availability of Schwarzer with a 3mil fee being touted, should Fulham wish to keep their stopper then a move for either Rob Green or Craig Gordon is likely, commanding fees between 5–£8mil.

Cesc Fabregas WILL be leaving, despite AW's efforts to keep the player, cesc is desperate to go back to Camp Nou and will leave for £45mil shortly after the world cup.

I will have a REALISTIC prediction about who the main four will buy.

MANCHESTER UNITED

IN – Defour, Hernandez, Smalling (Vidic to stay for 1 more year)

OUT – Tosic, Cathcart, Foster

ARSENAL

IN – Koscielny, Schwarzer, Vertonghen, Chamakh, J Cole. (Campbell & Clichy to stay)

OUT – Cesc, Gallas, Senderos, Silvestre, Merida, Almunia.

CHELSEA

IN – Benayoun, Marveaux, Srna.

OUT – Deco, Ballack, J Cole, Belletti.

LIVERPOOL

IN – Ireland, Parker, Wilson, Warnock, Gudjohnsen, Bent. (Gerrard & Aqua to stay)

OUT – Mascherano, Benayoun, Torres, San Jose, Kuyt.

TORRES WILL ONLY LEAVE IF LIVERPOOL ACCEPT A 70m BID FROM BARCELONA. 70m WILL BE TOO MUCH FOR LIVERPOOL TO TURN DOWN, IF BARCA GO IN WITH SILLY OFFERS THEN TORRES HIMSELF WILL END BARCA'S HOPES BY SAYING HE WILL STAY. AGAIN TORRES WILL ONLY LEAVE IF BARCA OFFER 70m.

What do you think Ed, about all of my predictions? Liverpool is much harder to predict as we do not know who will stay, but what do you think?

Comrades!

Poster Tommy Smith (Rumours – 15 Jun 2010 10:49:19 To Blair Mayne YNWA) has written a good post! Read it! And weep for our beloved club. My comments on his post are as follows:–

First Paragraph – smack on the button. Is virtually 100% true. Rafa has gone because he was made promises that he in turn made to the palyers. The owners/club then reneged.

Third paragraph. Some of these sales – along with the release/sale of other squad palyers, will go someway to negate the second paragraph. Sales of low & mid ranking players along with Masch and the 10M or so still left from last window could see us with a kitty of around £50M (provided the banks let us spend it). Comrades! We have to reduce the size of the whole squad. If scaling down is not an option then a hard crash becomes a certainty – far harder than what we are going through now. The 'A' word (Austerity) is definitely coming sooner than you may think. After all, someone's got to pay for the greatest theft in the history of the world and being as it won't be Dumb and Dumber, that leaves the club itself.

The final fourth paragraph is as good an asessment regarding management as you'll see anywhere. This 'Our next manager is involved in the world cup hence why it's quiet' is a red herring. Think of every good manager on the planet that we are in with a shout of– they are all involved in the world cup for the tv stations/radios of their respective country or they are there watching it or writing for newspapers.

Kris Boyd's deal is set to be off after talks about his £30,000 a week demands.

Paul Konchesky is set to join Birmingham for around £1.75m

Pab Miccolli is expected to sign later this week for £5m and agreeing a 3 year contract.

Also Shane Long of Reading is on McLeish's wish list and may be able to leave on a Bosman Free Transfer.

Also there are rumours of Babel and NZogbia coming in for £10m each.

I said it before that Rangers will not make any moves in the transfer window UNTIL they know what is happeneing with the buyout bid its still totally unclear what their budget is gonna be (hence the wild guesses by the other gers fans). I would like to see us try and exploit the Smtih – Fergie relationship to get a couple of Man Utds youngsters as I feel there are a few gems in there that would canter the SPL. (Obertan, Poussebon or however u spell it!, Wellbeck etc) Cos personally I aint to convinced with the progress of Fleck (however Jamie Ness should come thro and will be a great wee player)

With regards to Celtic I aint gonna claim to know much with whats goin on in the background I do know that there is an offer on the table for Sol but he is waiting so see what other offers his agent can get him before deciding. Any other targets im not aware of (Ledley would be a fool to pass up his other offers and sign for Celtic so i think its very unlikely he will go) what for certain tho is that Celtic must sign at least 4 decent already established players to compete with Wattie and his team i feel this year which will cost them.

what you guys think ??

Will all the idiots stop posting fantasy football teams. Torres will not be at chelsea or city next season. End of. Get over it. Masch, yossi, gerrard and kuyt are the big names that will leave and bring in 60 mill this WILL go towards the 15mill the yanks have promised but that is if they still in power as RBS may be forced to step in due to good offers being rejected. Torres will not got to anoth EPL team. If he does leave then Barca will be the destination and it won't be this season.
Ballack and cole could come anfield to replace yossi n masch. Ireland isn't getting the games he wants for city will be looked at to take over the driving forward role of gerrard.

Ive heard a couple of rumours that neil lennon (whilst being on holiday) has added giovanni dos santos so his growing transfer list. Daviebhoy you heard anything about this ?

any celtic fan who thinks will happen is kidding himself on. what makes you think you have money for the likes of keane, Bellamy and the rest of the names on here, two years without cl money will mean these signings will not happen

To
Blair Mayne YNWA,

You make a lot of assumptions about what is going on at Anfield with as you said no solid information whatsoever. I have a friend who works in the media as an independant football writer. This is the information he told me regarding the club. He stated that the reason Rafa left was because he had been made promises by Purslow and the board that there would be money available for transfers in the summer and although there would not be millions he would have enough to strengthen the team to alllow Champions league qualification next season. He was also promised that any money from player sales would also be made available for him. Rafa used this info to persuade Reina to sign a new contract and used it to try and persuade others to follow suit. However in the meantime the spiralling debt that the club finds itself in has got to the stage were the money for transfers is no longer there. Rafa was offered a much reduced transfer budget and was told that the money made from player sales would go toward financing the debt rather than strengthening the playing staff. Rafa felt that this made his position as manager untenable and with great regret to both himself and the club left.
The reason noone has been appointed yet has nothing to do with new owners as whatever happens any takeover will not happen in the next few weeks and the club are looking for something to be in place by the start of the 2011–12 season. Due to greatly restricted spending power and the lack of Champions league football many top managers are unwilling to put themselves forward for the position. As a result this is why the likes of Hodgson has been approached as Liverpools spending power over the next season will be similar to that of Fulhams.
Another major stumbling block for any new manager is that he will be facing an exodus from Anfield during the summer, Torres (Man City, Barcelona, Chelsea), Gerrard (Real Madrid), Mascherano (Inter), Johnson (Inter), Youssi (Chelsea). If you actually bother to read the sports pages in many daily papers today you will see that many of these transfers are already being talked about. You will also notice no mention of us signing anyone.
Mark my words next season will be a tough one while we have to wait for change at the top, the takeover will not happen before the start of the season (despite rumours of it happening every week over the summer). We are unable to offer millions to attract named players from abroad and expect if Hodgson or Dalglish comes in that we will be looking at cheap workman like players or people coming to the end of their careers. Next season will be about steadying the ship and damage limitation.

ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS:

First of all, the 4–3–3 formation used last year will not be changed so all those posting your fantasy formations may as well keep it for FIFA10. Song will remain as the lone holding midfielder in most games but the formation is flexible enough to use two (Diaby or Denilson) with the attacking midfielder in a more advanced role. The system will not change. It brought the best out of the players we have and suits our passing game. The central striker will be one of RVP, Chamakh or Bendtner with Walcott, Arshavin, Nasri and Eboue providing the flanking options. RVP may also be used on the left with Arshavin or Walcott right and Chamakh central – this also gives the option to push RVP and MC up together with AA in the hole (could be used in CL games). If a deal can be met to bring Eden Hazard to The Emirates, then he will also feature as a flanking forward.
A previous post on here suggested that Lassana Diarra or Matthieu Flamini would be brought back for £15m. What an utter load of bllcks! Flamini left on a free whilst the deal with Portsmouth for Diarra was minimal. Wenger has never paid for players he released – especially for a fee like that! Back up is required for Song and this is likely to be done in a deal with Standard Liege for their gritty midfielder Axel Witsel. The other player Wenger is interested in is currently injured but could be brought in during the January window (Marouane Fellaini). Campbell will sign a one year deal but Gallas will leave for Juventus meaning 2 CB's are essential. Simon Kjaer, Laurent Koscielney, Per Mertesacker, Jan Vertonghen and Steven Taylor are all targets. Bacary Sagna could be sold for around £14m to Inter (to replace the departing Maicon) which would lead to Gregory Van der Wiel becoming his replacement for around £9m.
GK options are Manuel Neuer, Markus Stekelenburg, and Sebastien Frey – rumours about Mark Schwarzer are simply a smokescreen for the media.
If a deal can be done with Barcelona for Fabregas (would take a minimum £60m bid) then Mesut Ozil or Yoann Gourcuff would be the two favourites to replace him. Joe Cole is NOT going to be an Arsenal player. The club have already distanced themselves from these rumours. He is likely to become Tottenham's first big signing after the World Cup ends.

––––––West Ham––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
West Ham in's:

Defence:
We are looking at bringing in Luke Young from Aston Villa. The fee will probably be about £3million. Futhermore, we have shown interest in Joseph Yobo, Christopher Samba and Tal Ben–Haim to partner Matty Upson in the Centre of defence. However, we will look to sign two of the above if he leaves.

In Midfield, We are pretty much set. The only signing I have heard rumour of is Kevin–Prince Boateng, but I'm not sure of the accuracy of this.

In Strike, we currently have 6 strikers (Cole, McCarthy, Hines, Sears, Nouble, Dixon). However, I hear that Dixon is to be released, one of Sears and Nouble will be sent on loan to a championship club, and we are hoping someone will buy McCarthy from us (Someone mentioned Stoke to me).
In replacement we are hoping to convince Benjani to sign for us on a free transfer, and we are looking at trying to get Carlos Vela on loan from Arsenal. One final striker that we may try and tempt back to the Premier League is Matt Derbyshire from Olympiakos. However, there would be a hefty fee so I sincerly doubt this will happen.

Thanks for reading :)

cardozo to chelsea

di maria to united

15 Jun 2010 10:06:15
Further to the muppet who said United have to pay a £30m interest installment by July– United's interest payments will be £45m for this full year and next year which with current and increasing turnover is quite affordable.

The IMUSA crowd will want to portray Utd as only being able to get free transfers or has beens but the silly season only lasts a few more weeks so they need to work on a new set of lies for when United spend significant money on a major player.

If Vidic goes then it will be because he( or his wife) want to go and for no other reason. It would have been folly not to sell him in 12 months time anyway and we may get a better deal now. If the deal does happen this year then SAF's intention of only making one major signing will change and we may end up with three. He still wants a midfielder but if Vidic goes to Real Madrid then there is likely to be a partial swap, and Vidic would need to be replaced.

As to who the major signing will be I can only speculate but I know who SAF's first choice was – Modric, and the fact that he has signed a new improved contract at Spurs does not necessarily make him unavailable, particularly as Harry covets one or two of United's lesser lights.

If not Modric then David Silva may be the one, as despite interest from other clubs he wants to play for United.

Never heard of this guy, but it's a great name– Zezinando will be signing for Leeds on a free in the next couple of days according to his agent and the president of his former club in Portugal who offered hima one year extension that he refused. Zezinando is a talented ball playing defensive midifelder apparently. Not a Leeds fan, but does that fill a need in the team?

Always enjoy reading this stuff. I think we all agree that most of it is wishful thinking or mischevious gossip but it is worth noting that there are people out there who do work in the offices of football clubs and as such they will hear genuine transfer news.
I know such a person who works at Man Utd.
Forget the crap about Ballack, Raoul , Cole.
There was an interest in Cole but it is over now.
Unlikely also that Vidic will be leaving.
The deal that should go through is Benzema on loan.
There is also interest in M.Diarrah from Real but depends on Hargreaves in pre season.
They are still looking for another left sided midfield player but no names yet. Possibly someone making an impact in the W.C.

Arsenal will sign Endogan Adili on 3 August when he turns 16 to a youth contract with a 3 year pro deal when he turns 17. One for the future. My source is my friend who works in Switzerland, and says he has contacts with Grasshopper's head office via his law firm– he basically helps write/ proof read contracts.

Any Newcastle Rumours ?

15 Jun 2010 09:01:39
Just to say that Liverpool fc that is normally the only ship that leaks from the top, has suddenly become water tight. As most Liverpool fans with any genuine contacts at the club will tell you, getting news from Anfield is normally fairly easy. But the whole place has suddenly gone into lock–down. I find it hard to believe anyone on here knows for certain whats going on. But some of us seem to be thinking along the same lines.

There is something happening. Even the youth and reserve players on facebook who gossip like old woman , are at the moment , tight lipped.

I do know for a fact that no contact has been made with Hodgson, O'Neil or indeed any British based manager. I have a gut feeling that Yossi going, Masch's impending departure and certain other transfers out , are been orchestrated by someone not currently officially employed by the club. The obvious thought has to be that this "mystery" person is either a new owner or a new manager. If its a new manager the feeling is that its someone employed at the world cup.

Isn't all this Yossi/arab owners stuff just a conspiracy theory too farv its just about money isn't it?

A few months into the season when it was clear to everyone that yossi was LFC's most consitent performer thus far, he (or his agent) started agitating for a better deal (I can't recall off hand what his deal was but no new deal materiaised IIRC)

Rafa's response was to start/continue limiting his appearances.

The roots of this deal predate any change of ownership, whatever reason yossi's team maybe citing.

15 Jun 2010 09:13:48
I hope and think newcastle can sign 3 out of 5 strikers Including:

Ilan (Free Argent)
Kris Boyd (Free Argent)
Vagner Love (CSKA Moscow very cheap appantly)
Yannick Djalσ (Sporting Lisbon)
Marlon Harewood (Free Argent)

Plus a couple more players
James Perch (Nottingham Forest)
Jermaine Jenas (Tottenham Hotspur possiby not saying it will or anything)

Maybe a defencer and a midfielder

15 Jun 2010 08:46:07
Leeds will this morning announce the signing of winger George Boyd from Barry Fry's Peterborough.
The fee is to be 1m plus player swap involving Leeds full back Andy Hughes and midfielder Bradley Johnson.

Boyd has been BFP's player of the year for two seasons and was on loan last season at Forest – he's a class act.

The above rumour is right, guillem balague has been saying this for weeks, Mr balague stated that when the new barca pres takes over he wanted a big signing & torres was on the top of that list

To everybody linking players with LFC, stop lying. Even if you were Puslow himself you still wouldn't know the players that are coming in, because every manager has different targets. Rafa looks at Spain, Hughes looks at former players, everywhere he goes Bellamy and Santa Cruz follow.

So you see depending on the manager, players arrive. If its Hogson, wouldn't be too bad. Right now Im liking the idea of Klinsmann, because if he buys german youngsters than im all for it

Re: Giovanni Dos Santos – I'm an Ipswich fan and we loved him here. He was definitely a class above when he was at Portman Road (at the end of the 08–09 season). We would have loved to have him back but it doesn't look likely. There was talk of making a Dos Santos loan/purchase part of the package for Connor Wickham (along with a loanback from Tottenham).

Re: Daryl Murphy – He was also on loan at Ipswich at the end of this past season. He started well but seemed to tail off at the end of the loan period. If I were Celtic or a Celtic fan I would set my sights a bit higher than Murphy.

"Also heard from the same source we are getting a barcelona youngster on loan named marc bartra plays centre back and can also play right back, supposedly he is a hot prospect !!

hoopybhoy"

While I reckon we'd be in with a shout of getting him – on a loan deal at least – I doubt we're actually after him. Given defensive signing targets thus far (Campbell in particular), Lennon obviously sees that we don't need any more youngsters in these areas. About time really as we lacked experience last season.

I've seen him play a few times at RB and his movement and positioning are top drawer for a youngster. He also has a pretty good cross/long ball but is definately no better than Paul Caddis (although is younger and apparently a natural CB). However, he would be a good short term acquisition if Hinkel, Caddis and/or Wilson leave or are earmarked for the chop (which I suspect could be the case for at least one of the latter two). Like I say though I don't see Lennon trying to sign anyone else youthful in defence, at least without offloading.

15 Jun 2010 07:52:52
Giovani Dos Santos. The loan deal to Galatassary included the option to make it permanent. It looks as if Rijkard hasn't taken it. I've said (on the banter pages) that it's his attitude and injuries that messed things up. As the Ed says he is class in the making. If Harry and the coaching team get him focused and happy we certainly don't need Joe Cole and I've argued Levy should not sign and pay high wages for a player who won't be a ahead of Bale in a 4–4–2. In other systems (If we get through to CL Group) Cole would fit....but Gio would too and is as good as an impact player and would be a lot cheaper. There was a deal mooted in Turkey that Turan would be coming to WHL in exchange plus Gio and some dosh. it's all very quiet on that one now. My guess is he will be at Spurs next season and Cole won't be. MikeG

Any TRUE Sevilla rumours?

Also, if anyone here ACTUALLY has any position of power at ARSENAL AND ARSENAL ONLY, could they try and persuade a scout to look at a frenchman called Mathieu Coutadeur, a 23 – 24 year old defensive midfielder for AS Monaco in France who I've been watching for a few years icluding his time at Le Mans? He's a very impressive player but is constantly underrated outside of France and is a player in the same kind of mold as Alex Song but much more skillful and tenacious. He would be a great asset to Arsenal I believe.

Thanks for listening. I love this site and look at it constantly so cheers to everyone involved, including the editor :)

Stephen, i'm thinking that if we genuinely were looking at him last year, it would have been on a loan deal then, cause if he went out on loan it makes sense, and spurs payed close to 9m for him, I don;t see us forking out that kinda money, and going by trhe dates he was at Barca, and his age, he must have came thru the ranks with Crosas

But TBH as well mate I can;t even say i've seen much of DOs Santos to have an opinion, ED?? what about you, u seen much of him?

Daviebhoy {editor's note – you talking about Giovani Dos Santos of Spurs? If so he has ability oozing out of him, it is his attitude that is holding him back. You don't get many players graduating Barca's Youth Academy that aren't top class ability wise. He has great pace too, and his brother Jonathon looks a quality player as well. I very much doubt Spurs would let him go, unless Redknapp has had enough of his attitude.}

"To the person who said that "The Arab Owners did'nt want Yossi" You're 100% wrong! It is Yossi who doe's not want to play for them. Blair Mayne YNWA"

You are both right in a way. Given a choice then Yossi would have stayed. It is not the new owners that have an issue. The new owners are afraid of a backlash in their homeland and surrounding region. Yossi understood their situation and decided to leave.

So if this is true then what about ben haim( sorry for spelling). At man city?
Make it believable lads? {editor's note – and Avram Grant at Portsmouth.}

Norwich are close to agreeing a fee for Daggers winger Danny Green following the promotions of both teams. The Daggers valuation of Green increased greatly following their play off final win but now both sides are close to agreeing a fee, with Green then expected in Norwich for talks and a medical when he returns from his holiday.

Norwich are also close to a formal agreement with Lowestoft Town which will see players loaned to Town whilst Craig Fleming combines coaching roles at both clubs following the departure of Ian Crook. It is expected that the first loanees will be any youth players at Norwich who sign pro terms in the coming months.

Hello, I live in the edge of Madrid, i am sorry but my English is not good, a big story in Spain is that atletico goalkeeper de gea is going to arsenal with a swap with Almunia with €16, also it looks like henry going Liverpool on a liberte
