I have read a number of rumours on this site about Kevin Nolan moving to Everton from Bolton for silly money way below his true value. Once and for all can I point out that Nobby is a die hard Liverpool fan and that is the only club he would leave the Reebok for, he is the Bolton captain, a first team regular and has a big contract so there is no chance whatsoever of a move to Goodison. The same also applies to West Ham and their so called £2.5m pursuit of Tal Ben-Haim, do you honestly think Bolton would sell another one of their centre halfs after getting rid of Bruno N'Gotty, I think not!!!.

Expect Carrick to come aswell, 15million offer has been tabled and Spurs haven't been as quick to come out and reject this one. 2 Years left on his contract, it doesnt make sense to hold on to him for another year.

My father is friends with Newcastles chairman fredddy shepheard's son. He has told my father that they are negotiating the transfer of Dirk Kujt of Feyenoord, and Jason Roberts of Wigan plus a swap deal with fulham for steed malbranque which will see Steven Carr going in oposite direction on loan.
Movements after the world cup:
Manchester United to sell Ruud Van Nistelrooy to either Bayerm Munich or AC Milan, depending on whether Milan sign Ronaldo and or Luca Toni. Fernando Torres is his most likely replacement, although the likes of David Villa and Suazo have been mentioned, as well as Carlos Tevez.
Midfield reinforcements are likely to be Gattuso and Cahill, with Frank Ribery or new target Joaquin to fill the post of winger alongside Cristiano Ronaldo (who has been voted best looking, cutest and sexiest male at the Worl Cup by the Dutch homosexual group).Other target Rafinha is currently discussing the situation with his current club, whilst United's owm Rincon, who is currently on loan to Sporting is trying to get a Portugese passport to allow him to come to United. Rincon started off as a right/centre back, but has now found his Brazilian roots and has been a revelation on the left wing for Sporting this season, filling the void left by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo himself.
Elsewhere, Viera has pleaded with Arsene Wenger to take him back to Highbury if the Juventus crisis results in Juve having to rid of there players to save themselves from financial melt down. Pavel Nedved could be shock target for Manchester United, whilst the likes of Ibrahimovich and David Trazeguet have caught the eye of Real Madrid and Arsenal.
Chelseas effort to sign Phillip Lahm is to be rebuffed as Barcelone look to step in the way. Barca who have just signed Gudjonsson, are now looking for defensive reinforcements, with the likes of Cannavaro, Lahm, Ashley Cole, and Zambrotta doing the rounds.
Finally Liverpool's Rafa Benetiz is still mulling over his potential targets, with the right wing and a striker being his most concern. Expect to see Jermain Pennant or Joaquin arrive. Upfront, Benetiz is looking at the likes of Bellamy, Defoe, Mido, and David Villa.
Right, However much you may not like Zigic the fact is he is a long term AW target and would be more of an AW signing than adriano(yeah right.) the talk of ribery joining arsenal is pure drivel, this has surfaced due to Henry saying ribery would do well at arsenal as for Ribery being the next Zidane, behave! Yaya toure isn't joining arsenal because he is not good enough he has had trials at arsenal and has been turned down and said that he wants to join Spurs to prove AW wrong, serious or not you decide. Man are bound to sign a big name striker to replace ruudy I reckon SAF will go for Owen.
manchester united will complete the deal for carrick after the world cup for £13.5m. spurs did want 15m but SAF has agreed to step back in the chase for Didier Zokora. martin jol will make a bid of around £8m but St. Etintine will ask for £11m. fergie will also look at reo coker and steven davis but will leave them for a year to see how they develop and also to see if david jones can play in the first team. torres will not be going to united as the glazers can't afford him and also fergie sees rossi as the future.
Good to see so many people saying Raphael Van Der Vaart will join Arsenal. He'd be a great signing for the Gooners, but somehow I just don't see it happening. Why would Arsene want any more midfielders? We already have Ljungberg, Gilberto, Hleb, Fabregas, Walcott, Reyes, Rosicky and Song. I think we'd find it hard to fit him into our side. Following Dennis Bergkamp's retirement, however, I could believe the rumours suggesting Fernando Torres is a target. I'm not too sure about Manu Adebayor yet, but I'm 99.99% certain that he'll be here next season. Arsene won't sell a player that he paid £7m for after only six months!
Man-u will unveil their three signings on 14th July at noon. Torres/Riquelme/Gattuso will be announced as new team members. Expect people leaving on loan and sale up to that date.

Big news Kuty will 100% be coming to the Toon Bacalona have just signed Gudjonsen and Liverpool cant afford him with all the other players they want. Zakora of the Ivory coast would be an awesome signing and as I understand there are going to be scouts watching the next Ivory Coast match looking at Yaya Toure, Boka and Zakora. some real arsenal news: aw is monitering the situation in turin. i would like him to sign all of these superstars you are all specualting about like adraino etc. but is highly unlikely. he will move for curtis davies and joey barton, maybe torres if the board give the go ahead to spend serious money in the region of £10-20m. he will work his magic digging up some of europes best young talent.

Marseille have agreed an unlikley loan move for Djibril Cisse with an option to buy him for 8 million in 12 months time. This move has now allowed Rafael Benitez to resume his transfer plans and spend the money he expected to make from Cisse's sale as he will recieve it back when Djib permantently moves to France. This means that the likes of Torres, Villa, Kuyt and Trezeguet are back on Rafa's summer targets list because Rick Parry will allow him to spend 8 million, despite the club not having it as he knows the money will be recovered next summer.
Milner will be moving to the lactics (wigan) within the next week for an undisclosed fee (around £4m)Newcastle will then sign Steed malbranque!
i told everyone about le tallecs french newspaper interview two weeks ago! your a bit late whoever said that. you are right though in saying we wont be able to sign two strikers now, we could sign bellamy and aimar as they would both be relatively cheap and aimar could play in a number of attacking positions. i think these along with the signings of alves and a low priced right mid (pennant or maybe cameronasi if juve are relegated or heavily fined) along with aurelio, palleta and gonzales will be all the spending we do this summer. rumours today that cisse will go on loan to marseille next season make sense as we wont have to pay his wages, he can play half the season for marseille and thay can give him back to us if he doesnt recover. obviouly though the loan would be with a view to a buy at the end of next season. the rumours are also that nasri will come to liverpool on loan as part of the cisse deal. i dont know alot about him but with alot of the top clubs seemingly battling over him, it could be that, if he impresses when on loan, we could buy him at the end of next season as part of the cisse deal. There seems to be more and more to say when it comes to the future of Didier Zokora. He's rejected a move to Portsmouth, due to the lack of ambition the club has. Tottenham have been heavily linked with the St Etienne midfielder, though I've heard that Arsenal and Manchester United are also showing an interest. My personal opinion is that he'll go to White Hart Lane, as Arsenal have already signed Tomas Rosicky. Man Utd would be willing to allow the Zokora transfer slide, provided Spurs accept their next bid for England midfielder Michael Carrick. I think logic states that Zokora will be a Tottenham player by the time the new season begins, and he'll partner Edgar Davids, not replace him.
I would have thought by now I am seen as a pretty reliable source for information regarding transfers, this is because I have broken many stories about transfers, and they turn out to be true. Now I have some more information. Paul Simpson will be unveiled as the new Preston manager. Please no more rumours about Pablo Aimar, it's sad for me and many other Liverpool fans, we don't want to sign him, it's just a decision for Rafael Benitez, he feels he doesn't need him. Benitez wants to sign Zapater from Real Zaragoza. Ajax will not sign Davids, but they are interested in bringing Patrick Kluivert back. After a short spell with Monaco Christian Vieri will sign for Italian club Sampdoria. As soon as Portsmouth have shown an interest in Didier Zokora, he has already dismissed any possibility of him moving there. No disregards to Portsmouth. Tim Cahill has provisionally agreed a transfer to Manchester United, based on his performance so far in the world cup United want the deal done before other teams start to approach, and the fee reportedly agreed between the two teams is £8 million with a 10% sell on clause. Everton are not stupid, he is still young with bag loads of potential and could easily end up moving to a bigger club in the future.
I believe Sevilla are going to cost themselves a fortune and cost David Alves a dream move to Liverpool by pricing him out of the market, according to Jose Rodriguez Baster, the players agent. To counteract this disapointment, Rafael Benitez will take his money to Fulham and scupper Evertons chance of signing Steed Malbranque, instead of Birminghams Jermaine Pennant as he is too much of a liabilty. At the same time, many Liverpool fans in my area believe that Liverpool have made a mistake by rejecting an option to sign Valencia's Argentinian playmaker Pablo Aimar for arond £6 million, but not a sole in a red jersey will argue with Rafa!
Chelsea are at there normal tricks, bigging astronomical amounts of money for anyone who gains over 80% in the opta stats index, ie Phillip Lahm of Bayern Munich. We can all expect an exciting summer of transfers with some high quality players coming to the Premiership, especially following a world cup, when managers decide to sign cheques first, investigate players second (For Example, Houllier - Diouf - £10 million???) so watch for 1 or 2 premiership managers getting the boot around november/march. The big name platers coming in will only prove once again that the premiership, although boring last season after January, is without doubt the best league in the world.

Bolo Zednden, not wanted by liverpool after his injury last season, has been seen at Ewood Park on Wednesday. He will be signed to play in the centre as he did at middlesbrough and to provide cover/a challenge for Morten Gamst Pedersen.
My other half works for a leading insurance company (I'm not allowed to say which which as she'll lose her job) but this company handles injury insurance for some leading prem clubs, and she has just informed me that today she started processing insurance documents on behalf of Spurs for Per Mertesacker and Denny Landzaat. freddie eastwood will NOT leave southend united to Palace, Norwich, or Southampton. The chairman and manager tilson (who is also linked with a move to hull and will not be going), have already made it clear southend wont be getting rid of any of their big game players ro teams in the same league, I mean wats the point when we are playing at the same level, the only way he will leave is to a club in the premiership (and dont bet against one tryin to buy him before the styar of the season).
