Cardiff City looking to sign Jamie Mackie for 2M to bolster their attacking options

No chance we have higher ambition than that.

Makie is a work horse and would do well for Cardiff

18 Apr 2013 22:26:17
Preston are being linked with Sheffield Wednesday's Chris O'Grady and Charlton's Michael Smith. It is believed that Simon Grayson is looking for a tall, strong forward to provide the aerial presence that the team has missed since the departure of Akpo Sodje.

O'Grady will sign for Barnsley when the season ends

18 Apr 2013 22:22:22
Midfielder Alexander Merkel is being lined up for a season long loan move to Watford after signing a 5 year deal at Udinese in January.

No thanks

A talented player by all accounts

Surely Merkel will be too busy running the German economy.

Young Portsmouth midfielder George Colson is set for a move to Stoke in the summer. Colson who will not be getting a new contract at Pompey has had a successful trial at Stoke in recent weeks and they are looking to making a move for him. Colson has played for Portsmouth development side this season as well as loans at Dorchester and Bashley

Very likely true even though Pompey not convinced he is good enough for div 2. it's a funny old game!

He, Dan Thompson & Elliott Wheeler have all recently been on trial/training with Stokes development squad because the ex-Pompey youth scout now works for Stoke.

They've all been on trial and played well up at stoke, I've watched them in games and training the only Oneida don't think will sign is Thompson. It's a shame he hasn't been offered as technically he's much better than akinde

John Welsh is likely to leave Preston NE in the summer after being told by boss Simon Grayson that first team opportunities will be limited next season. Burton are said to be keen but any move would depend on whether the Derbyshire side are promoted from League Two. Southend are also interested. Grayson wants to turn to youth and is looking to raid oild club Huddersfield Town. Swindon's Gary Roberts is also on Grayson's wishlist after the two enjoyed a good relationship at Hudds.

HA ha ha!

My word how desperate can you get this is wrong, welsh will be captain of pne next season.

18 Apr 2013 23:35:29
Staffordshire, not Derbyshire

Shouldnt of left tranmere

Utter and total tosh.

Grayson couldn't have had a good relationship with roberts as he wasnt offered a new contract and shipped off to swindow

How's Welsh's injury record these days? He came to Hull as our future captain from Liverpool in a make-weight deal for Paul Anderson. Big prospect, played a couple of games then smashed his leg to pieces. Be good to see him leading out PNE as he always had a lot of potential as both a leader and a player.

By T'burg

19 Apr 2013 14:39:54
ha ha never going to happen Grayson is a big fan of welsh and he will take preston to the playoffs next season

John Welsh is likely to leave Preston NE in the summer, best joke of the week

18 Apr 2013 20:40:59
Southampton have signed polish goalkeeper artur boruc until 2015

Brilliant news! All we need is a strong CB, cover for the fullbacks and a out-an-out winger. The Strike pair of J-Rod and Lambert is quality, we are yet to see Mayuka's hand, and we have a very solid midfield.

I'm looking forward to who we actually sign, exciting times for the mighty saints.

18 Apr 2013 20:36:51
heard Malky wants
Curtais Davies
Darren Bent
Salomen Kalou

Redbirds

I'm Darren's dads brother (darren's uncle) and he's joining Reading for £7 million in the summer.

It's take that all played and good enough for premier league

Heard he wants a lot of players but he won't get them!

18 Apr 2013 20:13:56

18 Apr 2013 18:16:29
Exeter City will offer new deals to Jamie Cureton, Kevin Amakwaah, Pat Baldwin, John O Flynn and Matt Oakley most of which will be confirmed within the next 2 weeks.

Exeter will also offer Matt Gill a route out of Bristol Rovers on a 1 year deal.

Please, Please take Matt Gill! We'll even pay you!. the boy has poppadom's for knee's!
One of the worst signings at the Gas for a long long time!.

Can't see exter giving us a transfer fee for gill.
Happy for him to stay but is not a massive loss if he goes.

18 Apr 2013 18:14:49
Heard a rumour Andy Johnson will sign for Charlton this summer as he isn't wanted at QPR like many others.

19 Apr 2013 10:51:39
Expensive sicknote - will see out his lucrative contract at qpr, then retire

18 Apr 2013 18:12:15
Swansea City have stepped up their interest in Rayo Vallecano winger Lass Bangoura. The Ghanaian could join Swansea in the summer for 3m.

The name keeps getting linked but with four wingers on the books, where would he fit in?

Swansea have four excellent wingers already - so it's only possible if a winger leaves.

Have we seen enough of Lamah to state he's excellent? Plus, with Europe around the corner and Laudrup sometimes favoring three wingers on the pitch, I don't see a fifth in the squad as a strange possibility.

An out and out striker is a must, if not two, or maybe Laudrup can see potential in Moore (but hasn't started contract negotiations with him, so. ?). Maybe he's even eyeing up Donnelly breaking into the first team (but I doubt it right now).

Media speculation is up to 6 new players (without losing any first teamers that is). IF he brings in 6, I can see it being RB, CB, a midfielder, a winger, 2x ST (assuming de Guzman isn't included in the list of 6 potentials).

You certainly don't know about your geography? He is a Guinean, not Ghanaian. Well next time look in an atlas, or just try Google.

Lamah is good enough and he's signed up for next season regardless.

Only way we are signing another winger is if he is Pablo quality or better or a youngster.

18 Apr 2013 17:51:21
Roberto Martinez is looking for a number of moves this summer if the latics stay up:

Roberto has his eyes on 2 'un-named' centre backs, one believed to be adrian marriapa with scharner returning to Hannover, and figueroa believed to be on the verge of a move to west ham
Martinez also looks to finally complete the signing of aiden mcgeady if wigan stay up, because the prospect of european football could make him favour wigan over sunderland.
Roberto will also look for a striker with Franco Di Santo looking to be on his way out after a relitively poor season, rumours john guidetti is on this list
Finally, Martinez wants to complete the permenant signing of Joel Robles after a number of vital performances, and al habsi could be on his way out after being told his number 1 spot is no longer a certainty. If Athletico cannot secure a deal for Thibaut Courtois, it is unlikely that they will let Joel Go, and could see Martinez make a move for very impressive Alex McCarthy from Reading

Mariappa said he's glad he rejected Wigan for Reading, don't think he will go there after saying that. Frederici is on his way out so McCarthy will be given number one, reading won't sell

Reading won't sell either of them. Mariappa chose reading over Wigan and McCarthy won't join a small club like Wigan.

Why won't McCarthy join a small club, he's already playing for one

18 Apr 2013 17:26:02
falcao to united for 40 million

18 Apr 2013 17:20:41
Southampton are interested in signing Melbourne Victory winger Marco Rojas. The New Zealand international has been linked with Liverpool among clubs and has said that he will be moving to Europe in the summer.

20 Apr 2013 09:28:51
Hope so. This kid can play.

18 Apr 2013 16:44:47
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup is trying to bring in four, not including any permanent deals for current loan players, in the summer as he wants to get into the Europa League next campaign.
Laudrup is wanting to sign Middlesbrough stopper Jason Steele. The 22 year old has impressed at time at The Riverside and could cost just under £5 million.
Laudrup is also wanting to sing Nottingham Forest midfielder Henri Lansbury. Lansbury would jump at the chance of moving back to the Premier League after leaving Arsenal to join the Midlands club in the summer. The 22 year old could cost around £2 million.
Another midfielder who could be set to sign on in Wales is Zoltan Gera. Gera plays for rivals West Brom but is out of contract and is reportedly keen on a new challenge.
One forward could also be purchased by City.
Celta Vigo striker Anon is a free transfer in the summer and will be signed on a one month rolling contract until January to prove his worth.
The second attacker is believed to be

Cant see steele going anywhere he is the one we will keep at all costs I think the swans are welcome to marvin emnes now

Gera isn't going anywhere, he's too good for Swansea

Gera would never leave and Swansea wouldn't take a risk on him due to his medical history.

Would love to see Gera back at Fulham

Emnes is past history mate looking for better

Dont want gera better players around and cheap. to. buy

Every single one of those transfers are not true simple as that

Steele ain't going nowhere

Boro can't afford his wages mate

Steele not unless there is a change of tack by Middlesbrough who have tended to expect inflated transfer fees
Lansbury refused a loan move to Swansea two years ago, he is playing for a mediocre Championship side, would he come and why would Swansea want him
Zoltan Gera with Canas expected to join not unless there is a clear out of bench warmers

Too good for swansea pull the other one

Gera wants to stay with Albion til the end of his career

Mm that funny as Gera stated today he is in talks over a new contract, check tv, the reliable source

Swansea and WBA aren't rivals

This will never happen they're the wrong targets. Laudrup will go for 2midfielders 2 defenders and a striker for definite. Any others are just back up.

Gera is loyal to West Brom, he wants to finish his career at the Albion.

Saying that Gera is loyal to WBA is like saying Odenwinge is loyal to WBA. It's all down to money.

^^that is the most stupid comment I've ever heard.

Gera was a cripple when roy signed him, he's finished,

carlisle have placed a price tag of £1 million on mark gillespie the united keeper has impressed scouts and is currently being tracked by Newcastle the club that released him from the youth academy when he was 16 because he was to small now he is 6ft2 (bit of extra detail for you)

18 Apr 2013 19:41:59
kalou to cardiff city, cardiff are in talks with kalous agent to try and bring him to the bluebirds at the end of the season

I wish

Haaaaaaaaaaaa cardiff think they are a massive club now one season in the prem only for the red birds

^ why is it promoted teams aren't given a chance in the prem? Look at saints and west ham this season, both mid-table! By the sounds of it Cardiff are willing to spend quite a bit.
As a football fan I look forward to the Cardiff Swansea derby next season.
I would Just like to say well done to Cardiff on their promotion and good luck next season apart from against saints ;)

18 Apr 2013 19:30:19
bristol city top 2 transfer targets is burton's jacques maghoma and tranmere's ash taylor so I have been told!

18 Apr 2013 18:47:26
Carlisle and Hartlepool to see some players moving between clubs this summer, Luke James to head to Carlisle, Andy Welsh and Adam Collin heading to Hartlepool

18 Apr 2013 18:40:48
Ishmael Miller and Notts Forest will agree to terminate his contract with a pay off. Middlesbrough are thought to be favorites for his signature.

Never believe anyone who says NOTTS forest

No way boro will pay for the worst striker in england.

18 Apr 2013 16:15:31
Cardiff manager Malky Mackay has targeted four players with his £25 million transfer funds he's been given.
Wisla Krakow defender Osman Chavez is rumoured to have been subject of a £3.5 million offer from City. Mackay has had 28 year old watched over the last few months and believes he has what it takes to play in the top flight.
Mackay is also believed to be tracking young Crewe defender Matt Tottle. The 22 year old impressed Mackay at Wembley when Alexandra played Southend in the JPT Trophy and if an offer is accepted, a five year deal could tie Tottle down.
Mackay is also wanting to strengthen the middle of his midfield.
Young Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams is his primary target. Williams could cost City up to £6 million but Mackay has been a fan since he made his debut with Palace in 2011.
The final player wanted by the Welsh club is a forward. Devorn Jorsling has been on trial at City and has scored a number of goals for their development side, especially away from home. The 29 year old plays in Trinidad & Tobago for Caledonia AIA.

The name is Tootle

As if Joniesta would join Cardiff.

Jonathan Williams would join its realistic but its just the matter of Palace wanting to sell him, he would get game time Malky loves to bring on young talent and seen him for Wales he can play Premiership football just by one touch and I automatically thought he is a wonder kid, he would get game time, he's young he would get a big contract, we're a Welsh club, we would offer him a good wages and he would suit our play we got every reason of signing him

What leg are you lot after for 6 mill, his right or his left. Also, how come cardiff are all of a sudden after every player on the planet since they got up. Oh yeah got it, money is no object now is it. Go on suckers spend, spend, spend then go broke.

What is the point of buying people from league 1 and 2 {Ed027's Note - Every point, some talented lads out there

After watching Jonathon Williams playing for the welsh team it appears that he has more than enough talent to succeed in the Premiership
Would give Cardiff another dimension in the midfield
Whether the signing is possible or not is another question

18 Apr 2013 16:10:29
Nigel Adkins has sent scouts to Holland to watch FC Groningen winger Leandro Bacuna. The winger has scored 5 goals in 29 games this season.

18 Apr 2013 16:06:36
millwalls liam feeney is portsmouth number one target IT will happen

NOT going to happen. Feeney has played 21 (& 8 as sub) games for Millwall this season. Very much a 1st team player there. Won't be moving to a Div 2 side. Pompey won't be paying anything like Championship wages next season. Think you might be getting muddled up with Theirry Racon!

Nothing to do with the feeney subject at all, but if we do manage to 'stay' in the championship what about eddie howe to replace kj? someone younger with 'fresh' ideas? kj has done a 'very good' job, but we have flirted with 'relegation' for two seasons running! i'm afraid it has gone 'very stale' imo!

No thanks. much prefer KJ to stay. just need to be shrewd with striker signings. Most Players we have are reasonable but need to take responsibility more and play proper football which they are capable of instead of hoofing the ball so they can't be blamed for losing it. I have noticed that some fans get a bit restless sometimes when we hold the ball a while - for me it is more fun watching us pass the ball than the other team pass round us. There are not many stand out teams and I expect many are kicking themselves not to have got extra couple of wins and put that extra bit of effort in. point tally is low for 6th place this year.

Just to add to my recent post. shrewd striker signings do not include Tyson and Hulse and still not sure about Easter,

Im sorry but I stand by my last post and think KJ should go!Apart from trying to sign a quality striker like Wood and possibly Kane who is ok but nothing like Wood, all his signings including the 'LOANS' are average League 1 at best i'm afraid? I don't think that Eddie Howe has had any fortunes to spend to get Bournemouth promoted to the Championship and they play decent football! IMO!

If you think about the money KJ has wasted on Hulse 1goal, Tyson injured & Easter 1goal & sub so far! We have to be talking in the region of 400k at a Guess? Maybe a bit less or a bit more? Not good business for a club that keeps telling the fans there's not enough money for 'better signings'? We need bigger crowds at home games? WASTE!

What about non league strikers KJ? Daniel Carr at Dulwich hamlet, he can't be that bad if he had a trial at Liverpool? Other players at AFC Wimbledon, Sutton Utd, Welling have won their league! All players on our doorstep! don't forget that players like Cascarino, Harris and Morison all started at non league clubs!

Thickle supporters like IMO haven't a clue and will be eatin his words when KJ is sacked and we lose our championship status. It seems fans like IMO do not see the importance of a prudent boss when the club has very little to spend. spendin money doesn't necesarily ensure you have a successfull season! (bristol city barnsley wolves blackburn huddersfield and wednesday) these clubs have all invested heavily in playin squads from 1 time to another and are below us! KJ is a miracle worker IMO you know nothin!

IMO and I am very much entitled to my opinion just as everyone else is mate!I have supported this club that I love for over forty years!I am definately not a Thickle/fickle fan at all!All I can say is that I do think KJ has done a very good job here until the last two seasons. He has been very unlucky with injuries I will admit that, but three of his loans have been 'BAD'! And Woolford is a 'JOKE'!And we seem to be watching more 'LONG BALL' football, if we stay up? Thanks KJ, New manager and FRESH ideas and better football from IMO!

18 Apr 2013 16:05:03
Leeds United manager Brian McDermott has been given a substantial amount of transfer funds to make his squad promotion contenders next season. McDermott has told his squad they have nothing to play for in the league but still have to play for new contracts and to be part of the squad next season.
He is wanting a new goalkeeper, someone who can play centre half, a young winger and a couple of experienced Championship strikers.
The shot stopper he is wanting at Elland Road is reportedly West Ham player Stephen Henderson. The Irishman is wanting more first team football and believes United can offer him that. Henderson hasn't featured in the league yet.
McDermott is also keen on Wolves utility player Eggert Jonsson. The Icelandic international can play at full back, in defence and in the middle of midfield.
The young winger is Portsmouth player Ashley Harris. Harris has been chased by a number of clubs this season but McDermott is set to win the race. The 19 year old is keen on developing his career even though he is thought to be sad at leaving his hometown club.
A forward who has already held talks with United is former player David Healy. The Northern Irishman played at Elland Road for three years and believes a move from Bury back into the Championship is the right thing to do and wouldn't turn down such a opportunity.
Healy is out of contract at Gigg Lane so wouldn't cost anything and has valuable experience.
The second striker is also the same nationality as McDermott and Henderson. It's yet another former United striker in Andy Keogh. The former Wolves and Scunthorpe striker is rumoured to be keen on a move to Leeds from Millwall and prove to the fans that his unsuccessful loan spell was a one off.

What tripe, at no stage have transfer funds been mentioned, and if they had, and as you say substantial, the players you mention would not have a look in. healey?, what planet you on, and same with keogh, not good enough for Leeds. what a waste of a post

Ashley Harris can't even get into the Portsmouth first team, so I doubt Harris is going to provide anything to the Leeds team, and there is a much higher chance of him playing week in week out if he stays at Portsmouth in League 2, but Leeds have a large Portsmouth contingent in Ashdown, Pearce, Norris and Varney so he might join.

18 Apr 2013 22:44:05
Wow, if you're going to make up rumours them at least make them exciting. Every one of these names had me yawning.

And Michael Brown makes five ex Pompey at Leeds

I agree with the above posts we want some talent in the squad not the above mentioned players who would probably struggle in division one,

^Yeah but I meant that played with him so has more of a chance of settling in.

Derby County will be signing Bristol City winger Albert Adomah in the summer.
A bid of £1,000,000 will possibly be enough to land him.

Ha ha ha he won't go to derby

He was inn Frankie and Bennies after the friday night bank holiday game against Bristol at pride park.

And derby don't have 1 million to spend

This may be more wishful thinking alas.

19 Apr 2013 09:37:41
we do have 1m to spend (look at the past few summers we have spent over £1m on one player - Sammon and Keogh last summer) and Adomah is high on Clough's wanted list plus Bristol City are not in a position to turn that sort of money down - will probably result in you gettign someone on a season loan like Callum Ball

If every team that is "going to" bid on Adamoah does his price is going back up.

I have been told by fans of various clubs he is deffinetly going to Boro, QPR, Palace, Hull, Wigan, and now Derby.

Someone may end up paying closer to £3m if they all start coming in.

I still say Palace for just under £2m.

It's defiantly between boro and palace for his signiture I still think boro will get him though (Bristol city fan)

18 Apr 2013 14:33:09
Adel Taarabt set to make a move to Italtian side Juventus in summer if QPR are relegated. Brighton set to make a move for QPR striker Bobby Zamora, he will be able for a free transfer due to a release clause if QPR are relegated.

Dont no how many times its been said but adomah will be going to either palace or middlesbrough no where else

Bobby ZAMORA. Brighton fan

You say relese clause if relegated what if BHA stay in the championship

19 Apr 2013 09:08:30
Exactly! What if Brighton stay in the Championship?? There a lot of Brighton fans assuming either we'll go up or that Bobby will re-join whatever. Bobby is a Brighton legend and always will be, but he left. 11 YEARS AGO. There are better players then Bobby who Brighton could sign to move forward.

18 Apr 2013 14:26:51
To further help Valencia's precarious financial situation ver Banega will be sold. Norwich could get that player for a £9.5 million.

Yea, like norwich can afford that sort of money in the championship

Yes please! Now we're talking! Decent crop of players coming from the rumour mill

Sounds good but not sure bout that.

Banega is the real thing and Norwich has the money.

18 Apr 2013 14:12:23
Curtis Davies to Cardiff.

Heard this too hope so awsome defender

18 Apr 2013 14:08:51

Jermaine Easter
Aaron Wilbraham
Darcy Blake

18 Apr 2013 12:50:23
Svetoslav Todorov and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing set to sign for Portsmouth in the next season.

So aaa, you're are linking yet more ex-Pompey players with moves back to the club. Yes, Toddy might be coming home, but NML won't be. Whits doesn't rate him & sent him back to Peterboro when he became caretaker manager in November. I await your next ex-Pompey players list with hungry anticipation!

Todorov has spoken with Mcinnes

18 Apr 2013 13:01:24
Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore is keen to sign Akpo Sodje and also an unamed French striker for next season.

18 Apr 2013 12:56:03
I know an accountant that works within lansdown&hargreves the board have already sat down with SOD and he only want to offer 2 new deals to heaton and stead and he will listen to offers for the whole squad except Kelly, Maloney and Cunningham! Even though Bristol city have been relegated it sounds like the club are using the example of Southampton and norwhich by going one step back to go 2 forward! And they will have the most competitive budget in legue 1

City fan myself, i'd love to see stead stay but heaton i'm having regrets for, also if city do a southampton/norwich it would be a damn miracle!

Southampton/Norwich both already had a solid, prem sized fanbase and had recent experience and foundation in the premiership.

Sorry to say but City isn't a comparison to those two clubs, e. g. Southampton had double the attendance figures that City did at that level. Looking for a silver lining that just isn't there, sorry : (

I hear Steads wages are around £15k per week, I would imagine he will have to drop closer to £5k if he wants to stay.

I expect he could make his normal money anywhere in the championship.

18 Apr 2013 12:06:08
Blackpool interested in Adam Taggart from Newcastle Jets and Romulo Otero from Caracas

Probably won't get adam now to high of a price

I live in Australia and watch all the games ( there are only 10 teams playing Friday Sat and Sun). Taggart is supposed to be a striker but only scored 2 goals all season for the Jets ( same team as Heskey who was also hopeless). Why would we want him? Bring back DJ and Charlie Adam.

18 Apr 2013 11:52:22
John Carew will be joining up with Swindon Town for preseason training with a view to signing a pay as you play contract as Kevin Macdonald worked with John at Aston Villa.

Good if true one of the nearly international players, I think we will have a defined split between 18-23 and 29+ yr olds.

John John Carewwww!
Come back to Villa & play for free like you said you would!

John carew that would be brilll! he was a great player at Villa.

18 Apr 2013 11:34:04
alex macdonald is rumoured with a summer permanent move to plymouth argyle

Good energetic player, gives 100%
but does not score enough goals, which is what Argyle really need.
We need to look elsewhere

Uncle Bulgaria

No chance. I wouldn't want him back. Reid is better I believe and I reckon Sheridan will use his contacts and bring someone better in during the summer!

18 Apr 2013 10:08:47
Wigan will sign Guillermo Burdisso for replacement Maynor Figueroa.

18 Apr 2013 09:54:25
Brentford are in talks to sign on-loan Charlton striker Bradley Wright-Phillips, 28, on a free transfer in the summer.

I suspect this will happen if the Bees are promoted.

Sorry to burst your bubble ian wright has let slip that notts county are the favourites i'm a charlton fan btw and the reason he let it slip was there was roumers he was going to be given a lifeline at us but ian said he does not want to say

Who can the bees bring in then in the summer any rumours?

Sam byram 4million how much for his other leg then?

Figueroa has already agreed a deal with West Ham

What a load of tosh, man city after Byram for 10 mill, though he says he wants to stay with Leeds. BM hasn't said anything about favouring Poleon, managers DO NOT state publicly they favour anyone

Kyle Bennett is shocking, can't even get into Doncaster starting 11, never worth that much!

18 Apr 2013 09:43:20
With Cardiffs place in the Premier League they will be making moves for:

John Brayford - Derby
Aaron Ramsey - Arsenal
Luke Murphy - Crewe
Maynor Figueroa - Wigan
Kenwyne Jones - Stoke

Players expected to leave are:

Etien Velikonja - Burnley
Steve McPhail - set to become part of the back room staff
Fillip Kiss - Huddersfield
Peter Whittingham - Fulham
Heidar Helguson - Released
Tommy Smith - Reading
Craig Conway - Rangers

John Brayford is the championships best right back. Interest from West Ham and Swansea was quelled last season.

Derby would accept a bid over 1.5 million pounds.

18 Apr 2013 12:21:07
Malky was interested in Brayford during January but was priced out of a move. He will be back this summer

Messi, Ronaldo, RVP and Tevez? why not? Reading is close to London and Heathrow?

Who's velikonja is he any good what position does he play. ?

If Cardiff where crazy enough to want Kenwyn Jones firstly I would drive him there myself, secondly I couldn't see on that list a right leg, a left leg, a head and a heart all of which would need replacing, biggest waste of money ever spent by Stoke and I think only 4 goals with his feet in 4 seasons!!

Tommy smith to Reading town right?

Aaron Ramsey. LOL

Can't see us selling Brayford personally. Everything I've heard about him points to him wanting to stay.

4 goals with his feet don't make me laugh he's scored quite a few seen as though he's been a sub for most of them, and as for him being the biggest waste of money your clearly forgetting the 6ft 7 waste of space who cost 12 million and can't do anything but volley the ball and sprint towards the defender at 0.1 miles an hour, without Jones coming into the team when crouch got injured we'd be relegated by now having scored only about 18 goals, Jones doesn't just score more goals than crouch per minute, he also creates a lot more for others, Pulis dropping him for crouch when he was in form could get us relegated, rant over

30 million you joking that's if we were to stay in the prem which is not gunna happen we will probably spend no more than 10 million

That brayfords not the leagues best right back, trippier is

Of course Brayford wants to stay and not ply his trade in the Premier League, choosing instead to waste another year of his career at a seasonal mid table championship side. Hmmmmm

I think Brayford has just bought a house in Derbyshire not long ago.

I have seen Brayford and Trippier and to give an honest opinion, Brayford is better defensively Trippier is better going forward they are different types of fullback.

Overall I think Brayford is a better player only because he can play CB as well and is more versatile. Other than that they are both the best right backs outside the premier league. Both would be good buys for any lower end premier league clubs. {Ed003's Note - I agree about Trippier great going forward when he plays well is when Austin scores, he has set most of his goals up,not taking away anything from Austin he still has to put the ball in the net}

The rumours are true about Derby agreeing to cash in on Brayford, Jeff Hendrick is the other young Rams star that'll be going, interest from Wigan and Villa. These deals will fund moves for more experienced players.

Agreed, both Brayford and Hendrick will be off this summer

You can have Kenwyne Jones, he's like playing with 10 men

Byrams best rb outside pl

Whoever had that rant at peter crouch clearly does not watch stoke regularly he does a lot more than head the ball and volley it. As seen as last year he brings the ball down and brings players into the game very well, his skill and control are not half bad and for a lanky man he's got a half decent shot and has proven his worth at stoke despite not being great this season. Jones is similar just stronger and quicker on his feet but the problem is you don't always get 100% from kenwyne

Dele Adebola set to sign with Portsmouth next season along with Havant and Waterlooville striker Ollie Palmer.

From a notts county fan. I hope you walk that league next season, your supporters deserve it, a great crowd.

Adebola won't sign, unless we can't get Agyemang or Todorov. Ollie Palmer won't sign either as we won't have any money to spend on fees & Havant turned down high 5 figures from Colchester on deadline day. Only free transfers & loans for us next season.

Cardiff are interested in loaning Raheem Sterling and Andre Wisdom

Wisdom is much more likely than Sterling
I expected Downing to exit in the summer despite his improved form which would free up a space for sterling to play alongside sturridge coutinhio and suarez providing he is not sold
