Some players the Swans are interested in - to varying degrees:-

Joe Allen - the obvious one and the latest I've heard from an insider is that this is the signing the new owners want to unveil when they finally ratify their ownership. They believe bringing Joe back is the signing to signal the start of their 'era'. They will not however pay £15m for him. Bid of £8m has been rejected and Swans are hopeful of a £12m bid being accepted. The feeling is that the deal could have been done for 8 had they completed it before the Euros.

Next is Bony, Swansea have explored writing off the money owed by Man City but City will use him to get Stones.

Haller of Utrecht is of interest. A young, strong and packet striker who have been scouted previously but is now under strong consideration. Bid to be made. €8m with add ons.

Valencia and Sakho are both being considered from West Ham. Lots of ifs and buts re: these 2 as West Ham really want to make a superstar striker signing which has left all their strikers including Carroll disillusioned. Valencia is furthest along as Sakho has heart set on working with Big Sam but that will be up in the air if he takes over England. Lots need to be resolved before any progress is made. West Ham making their signing for starters as they are struggling to attract that big name and will not sell until they do.

Zaza from Juve has been priced out of a move - Guidolin really wanted him. His teammate Pererya is still under consideration.

Hal Robson Kanu is weighing up a bid from Hull but it is believed he would have preferred to come here but Swans never pursued him.

Bradford City are interested in taking 21 year old attacking midfielder Besar Halimi on a season loan from Mainz 05. The Kosovan has been recommended by City owner Edin Rahic who previously worked at Halimis old club Stuttgart Kickers.

Cameron Brannagan could be on his way to Bradford City from Liverpool on loan. Looked as if he was heading to Wigan but talk broke down due to Liverpool bringing in a financial penalty if any of their players out on loan didn't play 75 percent of the clubs games in that season. Interest also there from Bristol City.
