Blackpool news
Holloway wil resign this week. He is sick of the L2 attitude of the Board (see no covers on the pitch today), and wants to better himself.
Plymouth is his preferred destination.

Robbie Keane will be Celtic player in next few days, loan until end of season.Bayern munich offer Celtic 7mil for Mcgeady.Celtic will knock back any such move. Also matt kilganon and Roma centre half Marco Andreolli lined up.Rangers Kris boyd is off to Birmingham and steve davis to Middlesbourgh.Kevin kyle will sign a contract next week as Boyds replacement.

Roberto Mancini has already lined up signings for the January transfer window with former Inter Milan player Patrick Viera certain to return to England with Manchester City. Mancini is also set to bring in Italian defender Fabio Grosso from Juventus and midfielder Angelo Palombo from Sampdoria.
Mancini will offload Martin Petrov and Benjani as he will also look to add to the squad by attempting to pursue surprise deals for Ronaldinho, Javi Martinez and Vicente.

Burnley are looking to add some fire power up front with the signing of Gillingham's Simeon Jackson from Gillingham for £1 million. Owen Coyle could also put an end to James Beattie's Stoke nightmare with another £1 million bid.

Martin O'neill is keen to invite Giles Barnes, formerly of Derby County on trial, with a view to offering a pay–as–you–play deal worth £10, 000 game. A release clause in the 12 month contract states he is able to join a Championship or lesser equivalent club if he features in less than 10% of first team games by the summer.
Curtis Davies will be allowed to re–join West Bromwich Albion on loan for two months in order to regain full fitness if Carlos Cuellar does not join Atletico Madrid (£18million).

As an arsenal fan we are not guaranteed a top four spot in the league this season, although i do expect us to achieve it. the news that man city have replaced hughes with mancini suprised me. i think this will have a disruptive affect on their ambitions of attaining top four and CL aspirations, hughes was doing reasonably well for city – within reach of the 'big four' and semi's for carling cup. my only thought being they've replacing him at this stage is so mancini will be given a large pot to bring in his own set of players in january. will he be able to attract the biggest names to the club? he certainly has more of a 'lure' factor than mark hughes. after watching arsenal this season i really hope we get rid of silvestre in january, the guys such a liability, no clue what to do with the ball unless there's a really simple pass on. if not then its an aimless punt upfield – he isn't an arsenal 'type' player. rumour has it that wenger will be looking to sign battling parma midfielder daniele galloppa in the next transfer window. fee expected to be around £9mil – you heard it from... Walking on a tight rope, Rafa Benitez is keen to show Hick's his January transfer plans in order to retain support from the top. With the transfer kitty standing at about £10 million (not including additional sales of players)it is much cheaper to pledge this backing than sack the manager which would cost £27.5 million, then the costs of hiring another manager. Daglish or Hiddink!
In an astonishing move fan's favourite John Arne Riise will return to Anfield, with unpopular Andrea Dossena heading back to Serie A with Roma. Roma will also pay £3million to Liverpool.
With the Liverpool front line bar Torres and Gerrard constantly under question, experienced pair Luca Toni and Ruud Van Nistelrooy have been lined up to come in on short term deals. Only one of these deals will go through, likely to be Van Nistelrooy on an 18 month deal. Luca Toni could join on loan due to being surplus to requirements in Germany.
Maurone Chamakh constantly linked with a move to London with West Ham, Tottenham and Arsenal could be tempted to merseyside, if they can stump up the £70, 000 a week he is reportedly looking for. A £5 million deal, could have him signed by the 3rd January.
Sunderland goalkeeper, Marton Fulop is likely to sign for Liverpool for £4 million when Diego Cavalieri's £1.5million move to AC Milan is finally completed.
With urgent adittions needed in midfield Mr.Bentiez believes that a cheeky £3 million bid for Nigel Reo Coker could help steady the ship in the short run, before the summer makeover gets underway. Out wide winger Martin Petrov could join for a further £6 million.
Sol Campbell could also sign as cover for Agger, Carragher and Skrtel after Rafa missed out in the summer.

Sir Alex Ferguson will lend a hand to old foe Jose Mourinho in the bid to oust Chelsea from the CL. Nani will join on loan in January with a view to an £11 million deal in July.

It is believed that richard dunne will be on his way back to city with micah richards going the other way..Kiko Macheda will be sent out on loan to ipswich and Benzema is on his way to United as real madrid are trying to off load him(fact).. Torres will go to man city and will be paid 200, 000 a game..Robbie Keane will join celtic on loan till end of season with option to buy.. De rossi is meant to be close to going to man city if mancini takes over..All these came from sources in the clubs..

With the dismal display at portsmouth, Rafa will leave by mutual consent. This will spark a manegerial merry–go–round. Rafa will go to madrid to replace pellegrini, Klinsman will move to liverpool, hughes will be sacked from city, with Mancini replacing him.

Liverpool to sell aqualani in the transfer window he can't handle the physical side of the premiership

Expect gerrard and torres to leave liverpool soon

Celtic to sign Robbie Keane in the summer after his recent bust up with Harry Redknapp over him and several other players going to Dublin for a xmas night out just days before there home defeat to Wolves.

Rafa to be sacked before wolves clash

Hatem Ben Arfa is about to move to Olympiacos Piraeus FC ... only Alex Ferguson can block this transfer...

If the SFA wish to appoint Craig Levein as Scotland manager then they will only need to pay £200, 000 to £500, 000 compensation to Dundee United due to a clause in his contract.
Also, It's not guarenteed that Levein will take the job as he feels he is to young and will miss the day–to–day involvment of managing a club.

Derby County are signing French striker Eugene Dadi on loan until the end of the season.

Believe this or not but whilst i was on holiday in germany i went to see bayern munich stadium and i saw tony adams ( arsenal's scout ) shaking hands with frank ribery.! i don't know if this is anything but if you get any more news to this could you say and also do you think arsenal will acctually sign anyone :/. i hope he comes to his sences and buy's de rossi from roma. i also think that he should try and go in the market for a good striker not a young french player. i would be happy if he signs de rossi, silva, ribery, maybe villa, hangeland.

Mark hughes will be sack till z end of december, if the club is not in z top four by the end of the year, its not guss hiddink who will manage city as he has just esigned a deal with russia, so guys stop posting stupid rumours, may be mancini or wenger will take over

Does anyone know any real rummours about Derby because all the rubbish in the papers is unrealistic like rob hulse joining ipswich, he would rather die then do that and all the forest fans saying Derby are in debt when we have twice as much money as them haha sour grapes????

Klasnic to liverpool in january

Management Merry–Go Round Time In January:

Mick McCarthy – Sacked by Wolves
David Jones – Cardiff to Wolves

Mark Hughes – Man City to Cardiff City (will be given a big pay–deal by the Malaysian financiers, and plenty of money to spend in January and Summer transfer windows)

Roberto Mancini/Guus Hiddink – to Man City
Paulo Sousa – Swansea to Sporting CP (as a coach)
Gareth Southgate to replace Sousa at Liberty Stadium.

ELVIS PRESTON.

Got the scoop on the lot of ya. Lucas Podolski to arsenal.

Rafa is not interested in Ruud Van Nisterooy, as Rafa is looking for a younger goal scorer who can help his side get into the top 4 this season. Van Nisterooy is too old and Rafa is afraid that he will ge injured too quickly, given his injury record. Rafa has been scouring Europe and has come up with two main targets for this winter. Goran Pandev and Marouane Chamakh. Both players' contracts' run out in the summer and are both quality players. Pandev and Chamakh would cost around 5m each but Rafa's preference Pandev as he has more hunger to play

Ryan Giggs has signed a 1 year contract extension at United so the deal with David Silva will be changed. United will pay the £25m for Silva but he will remain at Valencia on loan for another season, this means that when Giggs' contract has expired next year United will have the replacement for him straight away. Gourcuff will only be coming to United if Carrick is sold. any said before (including myself) he would be a Paul Scholes replacement but with Darron Gibson impressing in every game he plays who needs to sign a class player?

LFC will sign Goran Pandev to partner with Fernando Torres for £3m/£4m. Rafael Van Der Vaart will be arriving on loan until the end of the season, LFC will then have a choice to either send him back to Real Madrid or to sign the player on a permanent deal for a fee of around £15m. Babel/Dossena/Voronin will be leaving.

Chelsea have claimed their interest in Sergio Aguero and Sergio Aguero has claimed that he would fit perfectly in the Chelsea squad along side Didier Drogba. Aguero reckons Drogba is the best striker in the Premier League above Torres/Rooney (Quoted from sky sports).

Arsenal will sign another striker probably Chamakah for around £12m. Arshavin will move back into his original position when Chamakah arrives. Silvestre could be on his way out and Fabregas also linked with £40m move to Barcelona... although Fabregas has dedicated his future at Arsenal for now and will most likely stay at Arsenal. Arsene Wenger will be offering him a new contract to see off all the interest in him.

Rooney, Gerrard and Coles agents in talks with City's agents.

Barnsley to sign billy sharp in january for 700, 000 from sheff united and loan ian hume to doncaster rovers. nailed on

Lfc to sign parker 6m

Owen Coyle has his eyes on several players he wants to sign.

James Beattie STOKE
Kaspers Gorks QPR
Charlie Adam BLACKPOOL
Kirk Broadfoot RANGERS

And here is the daisy : A shock move for Paul Scholes come the end of the season. Coyle seems certain he can stop him from retiring totally and will offer him a coaching role as well.

You heard it here first fellow Clarets....

To the guy asking about Everton...

I have heard that Everton are eyeing up a few Portsmouth players, as their crisis shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.

David James will sign a one–year deal in the Summer, and retire at the end of 2010–11 in order to move into coaching.

Maybe more important is what happens off the field this summer, with the new stadium project scrapped and possibly Bill Kenwright handing over control of the club to a new investor.

In other news, Craig Gardner is joining Cardiff on loan until May 2010. Gardner is a close friend of Peter Whittingham and is the type of central midfield player they are short of given the retirement of Riccy Scimeca, Steve McPhail out for a good while (cancer treatment) and Joe Ledley not at full fitness (although he may be being rested ahead of a move to Everton in January).

A little bird has told me that Kieran Westwood has been approached by both Blackpool and Leicester with a view to a January move.

Southgate needs to trim his squad before he can splash any more cash and a bid around the £800, 000 mark could see some movement.

Seems like most people (especially the scousers) on this site have been spending too long on Footie Manager 2010! If Lennon, Milner or Young even talk to the Pool they need their heads looked at... But onto a THFC exclusive:

Not much cash to splash at the Lane right now but Harry's still got his eye on young Brazilian defensive midfielder Sandro (triffic young lad etc). To free up the reported £15m+ readies however he needs to get shot of several of the following lags: Pav, Bentley, JJ, Hutton, Robbie 'Withnail' Keane (who should find his level at Celtic) and, sadly, Tommy H, who Villa have got their mince pies on. Watch this space.
