Stoke look favourites to sign Brek Shea for around 3mil the deal is far from complete as he will undergo training sessions since he has been out since august with a foot injury. Pulis is watching a few other youngsters luke murphy from crewe, yannick (yala) bolasie who impressed him in the cup. A lot of rumours about jones to swansea however pulis said he will accept a bid of 4.5mil and I think is going to happen.

Sean O'Driscoll will look at bringing Brendan Moloney to Bristol City. He's Also interested at bringing Alan Judge in. An enquiry was made about Craig Dawson before the leeds game but was rejected, West brom want the youngster to go to a higher placed team. So again SoD will turn to former club Forest and hope to tie up a deal for highly rated defender Jamaal Lascelles

As a Geordie it saddens me to put this out there, right here goes Pappis Cisse wants out and wants to join Fulham, this will start a triangle of events Dannt Graham and Maiga will join NUFC the latter a loan deal and Pardew has had enough of Cisse throwing strops and he will join Fulham on loan with view to a 7m transfer in the summer. Please, patient in Pardew some of our best players are injured or coming back from injury, still 12 days of transfer days to go too. I think February will be a much better time to judge him. Our squad is strong enough to stay up with the right guidance, so I am not worried about giving another manager the end of the transfer window to sign "their players".

Charlton Athletic have made an Improved offer for Notts County Playmaker Alan Judge, the Proposed offer is Now Danny Green + 400k. This then allows for BWP to complete a 300k move to MK dons to recover some of the costs. I have recieved this information from a very reliable source !
BWP was involved in the offer to notts so I doubt he will go to Mk if they want judge

Leeds are the preffered option for Adkins. GFH have told him to have a few months off with a retainer($$) and be fresh to take over at Leeds in May. Warnock is only there until May anyway and the cash will be splashed for Adkins, not Warnock. Another poor display at Elland Rd against cellar dwellers has convinced GFH that Warnock can not do the required job.
The preferred option from who's point of view? Certainly not Adkins. Every part of this rumour is more disjointed than Huddersfield Town match play at the moment

Blackpool have held talks with Nigel Adkins but they haven't gone well and Nigel is ready to pull out of the talks. Micky Mellon is to hold talks. Owen Coyle also part of 5 man shortlist which also includes Simon Grayson and Steve Davis of Crewe.

After Norwich City's abysmal performance at anfield the club will now step up their efforts to sign Athetic Bilbao centre half Fernando Amorebieta who is reportedly available for £500,000 but becaus of this game Norwich have decided to make a firm offer of £1.5m for the Venezuelan international.
If he was available for 500k why would you bid 1.5million

Jones is not going Swansea and no fee has been agreed..Stoke are going down hopefully next season because they've started to annoy me with this inconsistency..I thought there defence was untouchable but obviously not..teams are eating through them now and strike force looks terribly weak so let go of Crouch & Owen and get some young legs in and change your tactics!
The only thing that's is wrong with stoke is the away tactics the home tactics and defence at home is the second best in the league and jones is better than any Swansea player apart from michu

Stoke won't go down you've got a point with the strikers. Although they've had a bad couple of games with the defence a few fullbacks would sort that out. there are worse teams in the league mate. clueless
Stoke's defence is currently poor due to the problems at the full back positions. Wilson (our regular out of position left back) is injured, as is our only proper full back Wilkinson plus Shotton. Also for the Southampton game Shawcross and our stand in midfielder come centre back come left back come right back Geoff Cameron were both suspended.
According to Radio , Stoke want more than £4million for Kenwynne Jones. Why would Swansea want Jones in place of Graham, because other clubs are after Graham and they will probably pay him more in salary. Why would Stoke sell Jones to Swansea, don't know really. Think he has become dissillusioned at Stoke although now he is playing he is scoring. However this could be because he is after a move away
I don't really want stoke to go down obviously I love Stoke till I die and of course they will never go down..but you can see from a fans point of view that when we see unconsistency especially away from home it makes you think the worst....get some young legs in..get as much £££ for crouch now instead of later and let Owen move on because he is not the player who's going work wonders for us..and to the Swansea fan who said you don't want jones!? Hooper has himself came out and stated he will stay at Celtic until summer and then look at his options, he wants to play in the EPL, but Norwich is not a step forward in hs opinion and wants to go to a club wth ambition that will challange for honours, Newcsatle ready to bid 8 mill plus add ons to hijack deal with Norwich with Swansea also looking at a bid
This is total rubbish. Where has he said this and when? Give us a source if this is true? This is just some sad Celtic fan making rubbish up to settle nerves. He has not said a thing or it would be in the press.
Hooper is doing what is best for him. If that's staying at Celtic fair enough. Or if its a move to the premier league great. But I can guarantee you if he really has any prospect on his future he will move from Celtic and jump to the premier league. Not because Celtic aren't a "big club" but because the league they play in is a joke.

juan forlin, the argentine centre half that plays for espanyol is being flown over to southampton next week and is expected to sighn a four year deal, he is 25 and played over a hundred and fifty games foe espanyol since mauricio pochettino signed him from newel old boys at the start of his espanyol reighn, and sees him as a relyable everpresent in the back line and the much needed steal that has been missing from the heart of the southampton deafence, he has only 6 months left on his current contract and espanyol could cash in on him now rather than loose him for nothing when the season ends

Derby in for two loan signings from Liverpool, Jake Robinson and Jay Spearing, both to end of season. (think spearing went to Bolton on loan but returned early after injury?).
Cloughie still interested in McKay and McNulty but permanent deals to be done in the summer,
Hendrick to Villa in the summer £2m plus add ons based on appearances and future international call ups.
Scouts watching Spurs reserves with a view to take Andross Townsend and Tom Carroll loan until season end.
Spearing is still at Bolton until the end of the season and has been a main starter for them.
100% rule out Spearing and Robinson. Robinson is cover at Liverpool as they are weak in that area. Enrique and then Downing as back up but he is not a defensive player. Jay Spearing would not get a game ahead of Hendrick, Hughes, Bryson or Coutts in CM we also have a CM on loan away from the club who is quality James Bailey and he would be recalled if neccesary. Plus Jay Spearing is rubbish :) sorry Liverpool fans he will never be a 1st team regular. Well in my opinion he won't hope he proves me wrong but I don't rate him. Reports that Brayford will be sold for 3 million, Hendrick is worth the same or more than Brayford.
Tom Carroll same reason as Spearing we can't accomodate any more CM's plus Hughes is exactly the same as Carroll like exactly the same type of player! but Hughes is better. Townsend maybe can't see it to be honest.
Spearing would walk into the Derby side.

Carlisle are currently contemplating ether to sell brad potts to Sunderland and extend the contract of lee miller with some of the money, and replace him with delap who was the person in the Abbott interview who had been at leeds a week before and was at Carlisle this week. Delap has always indicated that he wants to end his carer at Carlisle and now is the only time in which he believes he could continue to play. The problem they have with selling potts now would be his potential growth in value. Potts him self can play center back, right back and center midfielder.
There is clearly truth behind potts to sunderland.. but for what price?

Potts only signed a 3 year contract in October, he is an England U19 player. If the offer is over £1 million then the blues would be silly to knock it back. Having said that, his value will only increase with him getting further league experience. Miller is a fantastic player whose contribution to the team cannot be praised enough, rumors are that Rangers are circling with a view to taking him when his contract is up at the end of the season.

I am a Saints supporter and think the world of Nigel, but I think if he does quickly take a management role it will be for a side that stands a real chance of promotion this season. With respect to Blackpool, think that rules you out.

Derby to sell Brayford and Hughes, but not until the summer with half of the money being reinvested.
Brayford is wanted by Stoke (approx 3-4 Million) and would prefer a move as his family and friends are in the local area.
Hughes has his pick of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City (approx 7-8 Million with add on's) though is keen not to be a bench warmer, which puts Liverpool as favs.
Derby will attempt to bring in Robinson (season loan) from Liverpool and Waghorn (1.75 Million plus add ons) from Leicester, but only if they don't go up.
Derby wouldn't spend 1.75mill on a player!
Always welcome any link for a full back to Stoke, but Brayford would be great - he's got plenty of talent and he's local which means he'll give it 100% every game (like Wilko)

It was said earlier that the deal was almost certain but now we understand Stoke City made a bid but it wasn't accepted..there seems to be no other approach from any other source for Shea so looks like Stoke will still be firm favourites to snap him up...! {Ed001's Note - it is the MLS they have to negotiate with not FC Dallas. The MLS hold all the player's contracts, not their clubs.}

Looks like the departure of Reuben Reid will be finalised at the end of the month. However Skiverton has hinted at the prospect of signing 'Mr Versatilty' Max Ehmer from QPR on a short-term loan deal. He is far from the first team set-up at Loftus Road and will do little to help them retain their Premier League status; however he achieved a high level of performance in his previous loan spell at Yeovil, and it has been well documented that he enjoyed life in the south-west.

Max ehmer won't be coming back as he was a terry skiverton signing and as soon as Gary Johnson came back he was out the door. Was an awful player as he was too slow and looked unfit!
I think Ehmer will come back as yesterday he tweeted something like ''Yeovil tattoo'' then later deleted the tweet.
