BREAKING NEWS AT OLD TRAFFORD!!!!!!
1.Lyon have confirmed they have received a bid for karim benzema from man united and they are powerless to keep him. sir alex has een in france not on holiday but persuading benzema and pjanic o join and a fee in the range of 40 million +park has been agreed.
2.United have also a bid in place for david silva and negotiations are ongoing.
3.Antonio vvalencia is pretty much a done deal.
4.Lastly united will make a cheeky bid for victor valdes which mat be accepted (as the ball rarely reaches barca's half!!)
Firstly, to the person who said that City are signing Fabio Cannavaro from Real Madrid, you will find a deal has already been agreed with Juventus. Also to the Stoke City fan, why on earth would Chelsea sign Ibrahima Sonko?!? hardly an adequate replacement for the Inter Milan bound Carvalho.

Now onto facts. Once the Pinnacle takeover has been complete, Southampton will look to appoint either Gordon Strachan or Kevin Keegan as manager, with Mark Wotte being in the frame for the vacant managerial job at Swansea City.

Also, have heard numerous rumours that Accrington Stanley look set to be taken over by David Fish, owner of United biscuits, that own McVities. This has gather pace over the last week or so and if successful, manager John Coleman will make AFC Wimbledon hotshot John Main his number one target, with defender Jay Bell going the other way.

Man utd will not get villa as he has said he would only join madrid, benzema wants to stay at lyon and would only move to barcelona if he was.
Ribery to either madrid or barcelona, bayern are willing to sell if the player wants to go so don't be suprised to see that deal come through in a couple of weeks.
Tevez will sign for man city unfortunately.
I am a through and through united fan but i can't see us competing against the likes of madrid and barca, expect us to get valencia and maybe valdes but nobody else, only some unknown youngsters come through the academy.
TO the guy who said To the guy who said:

I believe you in the fact that Quashie will be leaving and Jiminez coming to UP! But why would WHU send all their Qs to CCFC when they use different lettering on championship shirts??? Why can't you just state your rumour rather than make us work out 'riddles'!

In response to:

''I work in the West Ham club shop and have just been asked to put all our letter Q's, the ones used for putting names on shirts, in a big envelope and send them to Cardiff City FC. Also, we have just placed an order for lots of J's and Z's.''

It's called humour, and wit. I found it quite amusing, and refreshing from all the C. Ronaldo, David Villa, Ribery, Kaka, bull. Lighten up.
I broke the news that Stanley Matthews would sign for Blackpool and i can now tell you that Blackpool will sign 2 more players from Stoke, Carl Dickinson and Richard Cresswell
T Vermaelen (10mil) – Ajax to arsenal medical and contract all done by monday

and i wish people would stop putting stupid rumours about theo leaving arsenal for liverpool this is never going to happen.

rvp will also be staying but eboue may leave for italy (no big lose)
  Real happenings at Man Utd, Not rumours, serious news ;

Nani to go back to Sporting CP on loan as SAF has decided that he needs more experience but can't guarantee him game time this season – Also as part of this deal Joao Moutinho to spend this coming season at Old Trafford on loan with view to purchase(bit like the Tevez deal was supposed to be)

Also expect Antonio Valencia to sign by middle of next week as talks with Wigan have commenced.

We will NOT be signing David Villa, Franck Ribery, David Silva or Karim Benzema as Villa has agreed Real Madrid move and other clubs have priced their players out of the market.

A surprise to some but not to me because I'm fortunate to be "in the know" – Guiseppe Rossi to return to us because Tevez is stalling on a decision. ALL TRUE, NOT RUMOUR.
The dic entourage r currently in england watching there horses race at ascot during there stay a deal will be struck with hicks and gillett 4 the full purchase of lfc big names will follow glen johnson
Tottenham look set to lose out on Arjen Robben as Bayern Munich want him as part of the deal to take Ribery to Real Madrid. Instead they will turn their attentions to Syndey Govou of Lyon, he will add some experience as well as good width. Spurs will also try to get his team mate Toulalan to run the midfield. I expect a lot more to happen at WHL this summer. HR wants to turn to a 4–1–2–3–1 formation next season, ver similar to Liverpools.
Just heard that Villa are to sign Bentley. FACT
Ive heard that david villa's deal with madrid is dead in the water because he now knows Rafa has the money to buy him.(30–35m)or 25m with babel going the other way.Plus Rafa has slipped in a sneaky bid for wigan's valencia of 15mil.
  Man United Ins:
– Ashley Young (Aston Villa) (£20 Million)
– Douglas Costa (Gremio) (£8 Million)
– Carlos Tevez (Kia Joorbrachian/MSI) (£32 Million)
– Wesley Sneijder (Real Madrid) (Part exchange for Ronaldo)
– David Silva (Valenica FC) (£25 Million)

Total: £85 Million

Man United Outs:
– Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) (£80 million + Sneijder)
– Frazier Campbell (Hull City) (£5 Million)
– Danny Simpson (Birmingham City) (£1 million)

Total: £86 Million

Ashley Young will replace Cristiano Ronaldo, Douglas Costa is a young lad and will fill in if needed where Young will play, Tevez will sign a 5 year contract at United and then when that expires he will go to Boca Juniors (were he wants to end his football career). . This will be announced after the friendly game that United have against Boca Juniours on July 18th. Wesley Sneijder is a secret that is involved with the Ronaldo deal. . This will be announced when Real Madrid officially sign Cristiano Ronaldo. David Sailva will be signed to replace Ryan Giggs on the left as Giggs is getting old now and maybe only have a few seasons left in him.

2 rumours that I don't think will happen:
– Nani to sporting lisbon in a swap deal for Moutinho
– Vidic to Barcelona for £25 million

Vidic has already stated that he is going no where this season even though his mum isn't comfortable with living in England. Nani. . Some how I think he will be playing more first team football for United next season, don't know why.
Facts My Uncle is a friend of Sky Spanish football journalist Graham Hunter. Barcelona have decided that with Real Madrid snapping up all the world class talent they do not want to be left behind so they are going to break the bank if neccesary to get their own "Galacticos"

Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal
Sergio Aguero from Atletico Madrid (Leo Messi has asked for this personally)
and 1 or 2 others from inside Spain whose names I didn't recognise immediately.

Also Mr Hunter says that there may be a snag with Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Real. .something to do with image rights. .
  Norwich City Football Club News.

Bryan Gunn has been working very hard these past few weeks after sealing two of his transfer targets already, Owain Tudor–Jones and Matty Gill, he has now all–but–completed negociations to bring out of contract Hartlepool defender Michael Nelson to Carrow Road, this signing is meant to be annouced before the end of the week, with assistant manager Ian Butterworth hinting that it may not just be Nelson unvielled that day as the club are still currently in negociations with Shrewbury striker Grant Holt after losing out on young Coventry striker Robbie Simpson. As well as Holt Gunn is still in the market for another striker probably in the shape of Derby's Liam Dickinson, who is widely expected to sign for the canaries as Charlton recently dropped out of the race to sign the hotshot.

On the exit front, Butterworth revealed that the Norfolk outfit have given up hope of retaining 8 goal Midfielder Sammy Clingan with Coventry, Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham all rumoured to be interested.
Reports from inside Carrow Road suggest that midfielder DArel Russell could be close to handing in a transfer request however no such request has materialised at present.
Wesley Hoolahan and JAmie Cureton are also transfer targets for Crystal Palace and BArnsley respectivly however both players are willing to stay and fight due to their love of the area of Norwich and the club itself.

Scooter!
The reason Rafa and LFC are limited in this transfer window is not only because of the sale price of players. It is also the wage demands now being made. Eto'o will sell for around 15m but is demanding more than that much a year in wages! The American muppets can't sanction large deals at the moment as they don't have the cash, and it would make the club less attractive to potential buyers. Unfortunately, by the time the banks make a decision on the refinancing, which will hopefully see the yanks forced to sell, it'll be too late for the new owners to make an impact with transfers. Either way, Rafa's hands are tied and he has to work some magic by looking at some less fashionable players in the same way that Rier was brought in last summer. So don't expect star names!

Well according to all you LFC fans its seems that RAFA will be buying everyone this year, however wasnt it a few years ago that everyone was slating Chelsea for buying the title?????? You won't get Villa, and RAFA will walk by Christmas.

  LFC News:
Please, will everyone stop linking Liverpool with the signing of six or seven new players – Rafa has already stated he is only 2 or 3 quaility signings away from his perfect team so, once Glen Johnson has put pen to paper (£10m plus write off of monies owed for Crouch), expect a max of 2 addtional signings – One will be a record breaker for a centre forward (Villa, Aguaro or Tavez), the other a versatile winger (Silva, Maxi or Joe Cole)

  Bristol City FC News:

I know i shouldn't be saying this but i'm good friends with, and went to school with a certain Scott Golbourne.

He has told me that he has been contacted by Bristol City regarding a return to Ashton Gate. Apparently after missing out on Exeter's Dean Moxey, Johnson wants Golbourne as cover for ageing left back Jamie Mcallister. No transfer fee would be required after being released by Reading last month. Scott has told me he is very keen on the deal and hopes it will be finalised early next week.

HHHmmmmmm??
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has finally succeeded in his attempt to buy Liverpool Football Club.

The foundations are being put in place. Note that during the Champions League draw, Rick Parry said he was fine to be leaving because the club would be in good hands. Also, Mr Maktoum has not forgotten that David Moores rejected Dubai International Capital at the final hurdle when everything seemed wrapped up.

The end game is here. Tom Hicks has never wanted to sell to a Dubai entity due to the wranglings with Amanda Staveley and Sameer Al Ansari in Dubai himself, when he rejected a meeting with Hicks' representatives in Dubai when they travelled to the region in 2008.

The refinancing package has been offered by RBS, but the terms with this bank have not been signed for a reason. There were two interested parties, the Kuwait consortium and an Indian fellow, but they withdrew in the light of Sheikh Maktoum's astute handling of RBS, meaning he had first option on the club should RBS and Wachovia decide to pull the plug on the loan. I must also stress that when Gordon Brown visited Dubai in November 2008, Sheikh Maktoum raised the issue of Liverpool and the nationalisation of RBS, and asked for him to do what needed to be done with regards to RBS' part of the loan.

It is up to you whether to believe this or not, but it will be announced within the next few weeks. Rafael Benitez is preparing a rather cheeky deal of £50m + Albert Riera for David Silva and David Villa, but he believes that Real Madrid may have succeeded already for Villa. A deal in principle was agreed with Valencia for David Villa in January for this summer for a fee worth £27m, but David Villa called for this to be terminated after learning of Real Madrid's interest, and the chance to stay in Spain for the sake of his wife which is understandable. Rafael Benitez has instructed senior Dubai officials of his plans, and Sheikh Mohammed is believed to be one of them. He has also talked to Mohammed Al Gergawi, a senior Dubai official of the plans.

Here it is. Just wait and see.
First of all to all the deluded liverpool fans they will certainly not be spending big but they will spend carefully even if there isn't the wishlist they dreamed of coming to life in december

  Man United rumours/possible transfers:

Attacking options:

Huntelaar is a possibility as a target man. Could cost 15M and with United selling Ronaldo to Madrid, Madrid would be obliged to give United the chance of talking to Huntelaar first.

Benzema, possibly, however he is going to cost double Huntelaar, at 30M, and yet Huntelaar is the more proven player. SAF may choose to bu Benzema now because he has HUGE potential and his value is only going to sky–rocket.

Outside chances of transfers are Eto'o and Dzeko. Eto'o out of contract soon and Dzeko is another possible target man however also with skill and goals.

Tevez most likely will not be signed. High price and a very similar player to Rooney.

Berbatov only to be sold if a large offer comes in, anything over 20M may be considered. SAF most likely will give him atleast one more season.

Midfield options:

Valencia seems to be the priority at the moment. Haven't seen much of him and don't know if he is worth the price tag, but SAF thinks he is. This deal has a good chance of going through.

SAF may also look at another winger as Nani may be sold or loaned out. Names flying about are Luis Sanchez, Ashley Young and Silva.

Creative midfielder is also being looked at. Ribery may be bought as a creative midfielder / winger, however only if the price is right. If not Van De Vaart may be purchased at a good price, and similar to the possible Huntelaar deal, Man United will most likely have first 'dibs' on him. Van De Vaart may turn out to be a good signing with his class and a decent amount of goals each season.

Holding / central midfielders semm pretty much sorted out. De Rossi or another similar midfielder may be brought in as Hargreaves seems to be injury prone, Anderson is still maturing and Fletcher though improving still isn't world class.

Defencive options:

Defence seems pretty solid. Young full back twins pushing for full–back spots. Brown hopefully won't be sold and will return to full fitness and find some form again. A central defender may be bought to cover for Ferdinand who is struggling with injury. Mexes is possible from Roma, or an English defender such as Steven Taylor from Newcastle, Gary Cahill from Bolton or Matthew Upson from West Ham.

Goalkeeping options:

SAF still has faith in Van De Sar even though he seems too shakey and inconsistent. SAF may give Foster more of a chance to prove himself. If an unlikely transfer in the goalkeep department is to occur it may possibly be Afineev (spelling?). A young keeper could be looked at, someone like Neuer from Shalke or even a cheeky bid could be put in for Joe Harte.

Remember most likely not all of these transfers will happen and I have no real connections, just what I have read and think. Also sorry about any spellings.

That's all,

Matteh.
