Despite fan worries about the financial situation at the club, Barnsley are set to announce the signing of Manucho on loan for the rest of the season from Manchester United. Manager Simon Davye is also targeting Jay Simpson (Arsenal), Chris Gunter (Tottenham), Batman (Gotham) and Gareth Bale (Tottenham) as short term loan targets.
Celtic will be in for James Mcfadden very soon also Chris killen and Bobo going to Birmingham.Celtic are also in for German Cap Marcel Schafer, Donati–Atlanta,Also heard Rangers are in for Lee Wilkie and Dean Sheils.Boyd on his way to WBA.
If Arsenal and Zenit cannot come to an agreement for Arshavin (as Wenger is only willing to pay 12 mil and Zenit want 20 mil), Arsenal will look to Evertons Mikel Arteta. David Moyes will has precious little funds to spend in January if he does not sell, and he is in desparate need of a new striker. Wenger would be willing to spend 12 mil on Arteta, which Moyes would accept. He would use this money to buy Wagner Love.

Why is it that a lot of the posts on here are wish lists and not rumours, I can honestly say that the buisiness i work in tells me that this will be one of the lowest figures in transfer fees for many of januarys. Clubs are finding it hard for credit loans (it all works on servicable loans). Man ciy aside most clubs are on the racks at this time. the money is drying up at the moment due to banks leaning on clubs for payments. So lets be sensible and wise up to the fact that endless lists of players won't end up at arsenal,man utd ect, and certainly won't be going to anywhere in glasgow. FOOTBALLS BUBBLE IS BURSTING PEOPLE,LESS BUMS ON SEATS IN THE STADIUMS/LESS PEOPLE SUBSCRIBING TO SKY AND SETANTA due to cash problems while players demand £100,000 a week (£100,000 a week for lets face it FOR KICKING A BAG OF FG AIR, cmon) only means one thing. Arteta will not be signing for Arsenal despite popular belief. Wenger will make a decent offer for him but Arteta loves playing for everton way to much to be a stand in player for the gunners. Arsenal will not be making any big signings. Expect to see the gooners in the uefa cup.
Keane will be sold by Rafa. I say by 'Rafa' because his coaching staff want him to stay. This was made obvious by keane starting games while rafa was out and put straight back on the bench when rafa returned. Rafa wanted a striker to help torres, instead he got a striker that plays the same role as torres but no where near as good. Keane will be sold to Aston Villa.

You are right here Arsenal will not sell Wilshere as he is a blinding prospect but please get your facts right. He is 16 therefore under Fifa rules unable to sign a professional contract until his 17th Bithday therefore making your claim that he is under a 6 year contract total bolls.
Hence under this rule Arsenal were handed a 2 year transer ban suspended for the way they signed Fran Merida from Barcelona because they tapped up a youth player. They also done the same with Fabregas from the same youth set up.

Not much action hear, sir alex has insisted on not much change for the world club champions, maybe we will see some young guns. i think though we may see the end of neville with rafeal storming that position also scholes and giggs reaching the end with anderson and nani forever pushing and great pressure is being put on sir alex who has too many options that are young to the 3–4 oldies who soon won't cut it.
