Dj Campbell to sign for Bournemouth

I'd much prefer to have another brentford player - Harry Forrester real quality player but Donaldson is just slow and strong doubt Eddie would want him

01 Jun 2013 22:41:35
Marvin Sordell of Bolton to return back south and sign for Palace in 4m deal

If we could get 4m for him I would personally drive to London myself. Need a similar amount for N`gog and we can pave the way for an actual 20 goals a season man for 4-6m and keep the change!

We wish

For £10m you can have Tyrone Mears too.

5 names linked with middlesbrough next season;
1. David Wheater- believed to want to return to boyhood club
2. Gohi bi Zoro cyriac- forward from the Ivory Coast from the Belgian league middlesbrough have been scouting recently
3. albert adomah- Bristol city believed to have accepted a 1.4 million bid
4. Karl ikeme- competition for Jason Steele
5. Danny graham- believed to be on loan

Danny Graham would be a great signing. I gather it would be on loan however it has been rumoured that Sunderland are interested in rhys williams again. i'd hate to see rhys go but I think graham will make us a far better team and he is durable. wheater would command a fee, not sure mowbray neefs to pay for a centre half when their are so many good free transfers out there.

Adomah to crystal palace sorry but he won't choose a championship team over a premier league team

Well we're in for one amazing season if they all come off

I tot CP link with SE Banks?

I tot CPalace linked with Ebanks Blake?

Who's that Cyriac lad?

Good like that Cyriac he's fast and tricky forward

Adomah rumours so far include Palace, Cardiff and Norwich. Last time I looked they were all premiership teams, so I'd be surprised if he went to 'Boro

He's not good enough for the prem just yet

Adomah's agent tries to start these rumours to try and gather intrest in him so when he does move, it'll be for more money. He's been trying it for years

A deal is in the final stages of completion for Bournemouth to sign brentford striker Clayton Donaldson. This is genuine insider information.

He's a very poor player and seems like a bad egg with a chip on his shoulder. I really hope this is not true

02 Jun 2013 21:49:33
Donaldson has a 1 in 10 conversion rate. Welcome to take.

^ Even that's better than Grabban! :L

1 in 10? He scored 23 goals this season. Not a bad egg either, quite down to earth. Won't sign for Bournemouth though he is in contract and Brentford can offer him a raise if need be.

01 Jun 2013 22:27:40
Middlesbrough looking to get the services of italian forward Luca Toni next season. believed to be on loan

Swiss toni more like.

Hes 37 years old bad post this one

Almost certain this one like

Still a proven goal scorer like

Bournemouth have bid £750,000 for Danny Ings

I think this is a Burnley supporter having a laugh.
A Big NO from Bournemouth thank you

Could be true, burnley still owe us money on the original deal and there's little chance of seeing that any time soon but I don't think we would pay 750

Slight misheard conversation methinks, Bournemouth chairman " I want to see the D ings taken out ( of my Bentley), Mr. Burnley ( the panel beater ) what do you want money wise"?

Why would we sign Ings? He was actually quite bad for us :L

01 Jun 2013 21:48:57
Santa Cruz, Andreas Corneluis also linked to Stoke.

01 Jun 2013 21:42:44
Wycombe to become the latest home for ex-Northampton and Oxford left-back Liam Davis.

Wycombe don't need a LB so this is untrue.

We've only got one and he probably won't be with us for long. We need backup for Dunne and a replacement for when he inevitably moves to a bigger club.

If so why release Grant Basey then? Yes he may have been out all season with a nasty injury but he was just coming back to training at the end of the season, and would have been a very good LB for league 2.

Money orientated thinks and plays for himself not the club he is at.

Seeing him play for us for past two years i'd disagree with that!
His first season he was very very good. Last season struggled with injuries. He's a good player and gets forward very well. He wasn't on big money at OUFC and was released, we had an extra years option on him.

Are you saying Baset being released is proof we don't need a reserve left back? Maybe Ainsworth just wants to bring in, er, a better reserve left back?

01 Jun 2013 21:35:12
Simon Church close to agreeing terms with league one Walsall. The Saddlers are believed to have beaten off competition from Barnsley and Yeovil for the Welsh internationals signature who is said to be keen on a move to the West Midlands. {Ed029's Note - Church turned Millwall down in January because of wages. I can't see him dropping a level and taking even lower wages.

Good to see the Walsall showing some ambition for once. Come on you Salders!

Why would we want Simon church at Yeovil when we have hayter and madden?

"Why would we want Simon church at Yeovil when we have hayter and madden?" Have you ever heard of depth? See people putting posts like this all the time, the squad does go past the first 11!

01 Jun 2013 21:30:35
Derby are finally going to match the up front price for Johnny Russell of 900k, straight up no add ons.

Craig Forsyth will sign from Watford.

Then expect nothing for a few weeks before players like Waghorn start to come towards the end of their contracts.

Waghorn signed a 4 year a couple of years ago he still has a year on his contract

Waghorn in a free agent, check your sources!

Not interested in Waghorn. We already have Sammon, Martin and Ward plus Bennett and Ball in reserve. The likely signing of Russell would take the number of strikers to 6. therefore unlikely to sign Waghorn.

Clough will sell ward

Over my dead body is he selling Ward! He's pretty much the club's talisman and fan favourite!

01 Jun 2013 21:30:11
fitz hall john eustace and lloyd doyley have been released after watford responded to their deadline day of contract renewals by the football league

Doyley isn't leaving.

01 Jun 2013 20:50:49
Mr Watford LLoyd Doyley out of contract. Birmingham, Cardiff, Palace and Hull all rumoured to be interested.

He's out of contract but he will almost certainly be retained by Watford.

Doyley wouldn't move to Real Madrid if the offer came in to do so. He'd beg to play in yellow for free.

02 Jun 2013 07:26:42
Pacey youngster Jernade Meade in talks with
Cardiff city after being released by arsenal.
Cardiff are also looking to bring Adam Mathews
Back to the welsh capital.

Yeates and Eustace will be released.

Doyley will almost certainly stay

Expected malky to be interested in watford player out of contract but Doyley will stay at watford

Hope we get Meade and Matthews

Would love to get matthews back!

Llooyd ain't going anywhere, but it's nice to finally see him get the recognition he deserves with a few transfer rumours, even if they are a bit half-hearted. He's been immense this season, and wasn't bad when we played Man City either.

01 Jun 2013 20:11:57
Damian Batt to be offered a trial with Brentford when pre season starts.
He is looking for a London club as he lives and his business is based there. Been a very solid right back for Oxford for the last few years, one of league 2's best.

Honestly Damien is the best in league 2 at his position. does his job very well and can attack nicely too good signing for anyone in league1/2

Jesus! Damian Batt was not the best right back in league 2. Many OUFC fans, like me, did not rate him. I'm glad we let him go. How many goals does he cost us a season with his errors? He can't defend. Always out of position, and gives stupid free kicks and penalties away!
He attacks well, well he gets forward well and then can't cross. He would not get into a league 1 side.
He'll give football up within 2 years. He's more interested in his new business.

Fantastic post absolutely spot on. Damian Batt so overated its unbelievable.

We don't need him

01 Jun 2013 21:14:45
Burnley are preparing a 500k bid for Oldham Athletic's Jose Baxter.

Yawn, burn key must be the 20th club to be linked to a move for Baxter.
He is going no where, certainly not for under £1mil.
LJ is building a team round him

Money talks m8 and were a league above you

01 Jun 2013 21:06:07
spearing set for another loan spell {Ed029's Note - Where?

No he's to sign for Sunderland

01 Jun 2013 20:11:02
Chris O'Grady to hand in a transfer request to push through a move to barnsley

Ogrady is not good enough

Not good enough? We would be in league one had he not come over

Barnsley have given up hope of signing O'Grady after a bid has been rejected, they are trying to sign Jon Stead and Clayton Donaldson

Both them couldn't lace ogradys boots jon sted is past it evan though he never had it anddDonald s not good enough if we want to progress

Donaldson sorry

Chris O Grady will start the season as a
Barnsley player

We would have been in league one, one man doesn't make a team, never has and never will

I understand the confusion with Donald. Is it Donald who plays for Brentford or is it Donald's Son?

O'grady was our best player when he was here last season, so he obviously is good enough

01 Jun 2013 20:00:29
AFC Wimbledon are in talks to sign free agents Adam Reed, Charlie Sheringham, Jon Harley, Richard O'Donnell, Ryan Burge, Will Haining and Paul Reid as they look to complete their squad for next season. Staines Town Captain David Wheeler is also a target for the Dons, but the club will need some sort of fee for him to be a Wimbledon player, and they face competition from a number of Football League clubs.

Most of those names are northern based players, I doubt we could pay them enough to make them move to London. Although Will Haining we should push the boat out for just so we get to see his wife at the meadow.
The list looks like it was built by a 15 year old who plays to much Championship Manager.

01 Jun 2013 19:52:02
There are reports Roma director Franco Baldini has offered to resign so he can take on a new job at Tottenham. The transfer guru had been repeatedly linked with Spurs in recent weeks and a move now seems imminent. If there was any truth in Southampton getting Erik Lamela I fear that could be over.

Why would that make any difference!

01 Jun 2013 22:38:40
Bernard set to sign four yeal deal with Southampton, after the Saints agreeing a £12. 4 Million deal with Atletico Miniero

Ive heard that pirlo has sinded a new deal with juve not for saints though

I don't think anyone seriously believed Pirlo was joining Southampton.

That's like saying an area manager resigning from your store is going to make you want to follow them. Most people don't even speak to the hierarchy! Lamela is going to move based on contract more than anything else.

Bernard would be good but he's fairly unknown in england, plus I'm unsure if he's worth it for that price

The only reason you have mentioned Berand is because you have just seen him on TV. Saints will not sign Berand

01 Jun 2013 19:49:59
Simon Grayson is considering adding the much traveled Ray Mathias to his backroom staff.

01 Jun 2013 19:48:54
Oxford United to announce two new signings by next Wednesday, the two players are signing 2 yrs deals to play at the Kassam.

Jon Otsemobor and Rene Howe are the players signing.

01 Jun 2013 22:31:18
Jon otsomber just signed a new contract with the MK Dons can't see him moving to oxford

If your going to lie, do your research first. We was linked to Ostemobor till he signed a new 1 year extension at MK the other week. So he won't be joinging us will he?!

01 Jun 2013 19:33:38
Newport County to announce the signing of AFC Wimbledon forward Luke Moore early next week. The player will move on a free transfer, after failing to agree a new deal with Wimbledon, before manager Neal Ardley went on holiday. Moore will join former Dons teammates - Jolley, Minshull, Porter, Yakubu.

Leicester value Schmeichel at£4 mil I heard. Personally I think its unlikely they will sell to us for less than that, since they don't actually need to sell. Jordan Rhodes rumour has a lot of momentum behind it now, but I still don't quite believe it. Would love to see him in Black and Amber!

Luke Moore is leaving.

You can have him like the rest of the rejects the only one I would have kept would have been yak the rest are poor

Luke moore has been excellent for AFC and has worked his socks off. Why would he join Newport county? Do they have a bigger wage structure then us? If so how? Don't understand that we have to scatch around like this when we had over 4700 for our last game. We need more investment and i'm thinking this fans only thing may not take us where we wish to be

Obviously the Newport scout was the same one who watched Max Porter and Lee Minshull.

Moore is one of those players who runs around like a headless Chicken but produces little, the odd goal when you are 2-0 down with a minute to go. (Exeter excepted). Can't believe there is a rush to sign him.

If he wants to leave let him leave he clearly wants more money even if he does siign for us which he won't as he would have already I will have no time for him he's replacable granted he works hard but I would be more worried if it was midson moores not in the same class

Moore only comes good with 10 games to go. Don't like the way he holding the club to random. Ok he needs to make £ but don't like these games.

If I was ards I call he's agent I tell him to jog on he's not worth the hassel clearly wants more money which he ain't getting and doesn't want to stay becos he loves the club or fans let him go and move on

01 Jun 2013 19:27:44
hull will sign rhodes from blackburn by the end of nxt week, also close to signing schmichael but will have to meet leicster half way on there valuation.

Hull didn't sell us Stewart we ain't selling them schmeichel

Haha I love seeing leicester city fans commenting because they can't bare the reality that they'll lose there best players! 'we're not selling schmeicel' yeah good look!

Theres a few teams better than us in for Rhodes. As soon as a price is agreed they will come in with bids and Rhodes will want to talk to them. AND he's ON 45 G A WEEK!

01 Jun 2013 19:26:28
Brian Saah will sign from Torquay for Cheltenham next week on a 2 year deal.

Not what we need, a panic signing from MY i'm afraid! Slow and not great in the air, was outfought and amazingly outpaced by Burgess in the play offs last season! We need someone like Hector again! Can even see Sido being a good centre back if they worked on it!

I find that a bit harsh, he's regarded as one of the best centre backs in League Two. He's just come off the back of a bad season or so but so have Torquay, under MY he could be an improved player.

He is definitely not slow, he's quicker than most center backs.

He was outpaced by Ben burgess. he is not fast.

Judging a player on two games isn't smart. To be fair, Burgess was awesome over those two legs. Looking at Saah over a longer period of time he has a proven record at this level.

01 Jun 2013 19:24:40
Matt Tubbs will sign for Cheltenham on loan for the season from Bournemouth.

I could envisage a potential deal being worked between Cheltenham & Bournemouth for a Pack-Tubbs exchange, but other rumour spinners are strongly linking Pack with Ipswich, so the Tubbs rumour looks less likely if Ipswich take Pack.

02 Jun 2013 10:05:46
Cheltenham are certainly interested in Tubbs but it's far from a done deal. Pack has offers from several Championship clubs and Peterborough.

I'll just point out that Bournemouth would be looking for a lower compensation level to pay to CTFC if they were to offer a player on loan. Means that if Pack agrees terms with Bournemouth, CTFC probably miss out on higher compo but get a decent player. There'd still be a lot to sort out though.

01 Jun 2013 19:23:27
Rene Howe is set to sign for Cheltenham on 2 year deal.

01 Jun 2013 19:21:32
Marvin Morgan is set to be the mystery former league 1 striker to sign for Cheltenham tommorow.

01 Jun 2013 19:10:22
Nottingham Forest are in talks with David Lopez. lopez has been offered terms by Brighton but has not signed.

Lopez will sign a new deal

No he's not in talks. you're just a forest fan wishfull thinking

Lopez is coming to forest because he rejected a contract offer from brighton and is close to signing for forest it even says it in the Nottingham post

Well he's In Spain, not Nottingham. He didn't reject his contract, he wasn't in the country to sign it, but according to his agent is willing to sign it when he gets back. Stop talking out of your coconut macaroons

He will stay if poyet stays but if poyet leaves I think he might go

He won't go to Forest. They've not got as many spanish players as us.

How do you know his agent

And why do you have to have Spanish players in your team to come to forest

So he's got people in common with him

01 Jun 2013 19:06:44
bristol rovers have been looking at bringing back Danny Coles from Exeter

Why would we want an ex Bristol Rover player who was plagued with Injuries when with us and who played for an average Exeter with no chance of getting past Kenneth, Parkes, Virgo and McCrsytal

Not true.

Virgo doesn't play for us anymore and Kenneth is one of the worst centre back I have seen at Bristol rovers

Virgo has gone!

I have heard Kenneth and Virgo are both going?

Clearly haven't watched Rovers long then if Kenneth is one of the worst centre backs you've seen. There was a reason he was compared to Tilson during his first few games and he's in better shape than he was then.

Kenneth is vile. The way he treated the club and its supporters in the last year is disgraceful. I don't want to be paying someone 3k a week to sit on the bench.

Kenneth is out until at least September, to be fair to the lad when he was ''thrown'' into the team he was coming back from injury and wasnt 100%, he certainly wasnt fit - that said his gesture to the crowd - I don't think will be forgotten quickly, could be a tough time for Garry winning the Gas faithful over - Virgo has been told he'll be released but we can't get rid until he is fit.

Kenneth deserves a second chance seeing as he played under an awful manager, and not forgetting the atmosphere around the club at the time was vile, however, his gesture was out of order though his actions were dealt with by the club. he will have a fresh start next season under a good manager and if he takes he chance and gives 100% then the fans will start give him more repsect.

01 Jun 2013 19:01:11
port vale to sign darren carter formally of cheltenam

01 Jun 2013 18:51:10
Huge week ahead for the up and coming side of Bristol.
Up to Seven deals could well be finalised by next Saturday.

Ellis Harrison + Ollie Norburn ( two year deals). Mitch Harding and Tom Lockyer ( one year deal) all to re-sign.

Sadly Fabian Broghammer will be returning to Germania as he is homesick despite John Wards best efforts to convince him to stay.

Rovers have agreed to 'buy out ' the contract of John Joe O'Toole from Colchester and offered him a further two years on top.

Also. Alan Gow is in talks and again a deal is on the table between BRFC, Gow and cash strapped Exeter.

Amine Linganzi has agreed terms and will sign a two year deal.

Rovers still want a winger though and there are three names where talks are in very early stages.
one is a loan from a Premiership team ( Yes Premiership) and the other two are proven at League Two level.

Tom Hitchcock and QPR have been approached and this deal if done will be lastminute.com and likely to initially be to December 31st. {Ed029's Note -

Matt tubbs is in talks over a loan deal.

Is Tubbs actually in talks?

Tom Lockyer signed a few weeks ago.

Doubt we'll sign a second midfielder on top of O'Toole if lucky enough to get him. Gow would be good but unlikely.

Tuubs will go to Cheltenham

I don't understand why tubbs would want to drop down to league 2
If colchester are looking for a other forward, he would be a great capture IMO

01 Jun 2013 18:45:25
Aston Villa to strengthen their young team by adding Will Hughes to the team. It is understood the promising player is aware of interest from other clubs but he would like to stay in the Midlands.

He has been aware of bigger clubs than villa watching him all season. uve no chance as soon as you get an offer accepted in come man city and manutd arsenal liverpool chealsea. 100-1 you don't get him

Yes but you see - Villa have produced more England internationals than any other club & Hughes will want to play not go back on loan somewhere. He'll be a Villa player if Derby accept an offer.

Expeirence is what we need

01 Jun 2013 18:44:56
I'm guessing we will have 3 experienced players coming in, and then 4 or 5 young prospects {Ed029's Note - Fantastic, but who are you talking about?

01 Jun 2013 18:44:13
Bristol city to sign scott flinders, andre amougou and jay emmanuel thomas by next friday.

Amougou's wages are too high

We couldn't fit Bikey into our Championship wage structure, no way will he fit into our reduced Div 1 setup!

Hes dropped them apparently as noone will offer him a deal and he loved bristol from his time here on loan

Would love him back but can't really see it happening!

I'd love bikey back he was awsome on loan

01 Jun 2013 18:38:51
Colchester monitoring Mark Yeates' contract situation at Watford.

Yeates is a favourite at the U's having already played over 100 times for the club in 2 seperate spells and the irishman gets on well with manager Joe Dunne.

He was a great player for Colchester over his two spells with the club. I would quite like to see him back however wages could be a stumbling block as he's been a Championship player for the last four years or so. Maybe as a last resort or even a loan option. Watford may want to hold onto him depending on what happens with their array of loanees this summer.

Yeates is a good player, don't know why he gets so much stick from Watford fans (from a Watford fan). Having said that, he's not played much this season, and it's understandable if we sold him.

01 Jun 2013 18:33:03
Billy Davies at Nottingham Forest is hoping to tie up the following free agents to contracts before the transfer window opens;
Elliot Ward
Reyes Jara
Chris Mcann
David Lopez
Simeon Jackson

When the transfer window opens he has these players at the top of his wanted list;

Curtis Davies
Kieron Trippier
Rob Hall
Jack Collinson
Craig Mackail Smith
Charlie Austin

Is is expected to let the following players leave the club;
Simon Gillett
Jon Greening
Ismeal Miller
Marcus Tudgay

I'm sorry but why the hell would face Lopez go to you when he has publicly stated he loves it at Brighton and has just been offered a contract extension. He would not go to forest, a club with ZERO spaniards! If he leaves, he will go back to Spain.

01 Jun 2013 21:04:09
They don't have any slain arfa unless they get Ayala back on loan but they do have this thing called MONEY

Tudgay just been offered an extension!

Do you know who mcgugans signing 4 because he's also leaving.

Brighton also have money.

04 Jun 2013 22:46:51
Nottm forest have some have the richest family in Kuwait behind them and are the richest team in the championship.

01 Jun 2013 18:05:26
Martin Paterson to turn down contract offer from Burnley to join newly Promoted Doncaster Rovers

Ipswich are also interested.

If its money he's after then I'd say that Ipswich are in the driving seat.

Pato is one of the rare breed of players where money is secondary to playing 1st team football.

Pato defiantly staying at turf moor he loves the club and with Austin going (not saying he will start) but will get a lot more 1st team opportunities

And the burnley fans love him aswel, he might not play every game but when he does play he always gives 110%

01 Jun 2013 18:01:17
Right, you're going to have to bare with me, I've got a lot of news coming for Ipswich Town fans. For those of you who remember me, I broke the Elliott Hewitt and Scott Loachs move to ITFC on here last summer, and also Aaron McLeans and David McGoldricks moves in January.

All this information is from my usual, well reliable, source from within the club.

Firstly, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas? 2 offers, one from Fulham, with ITFC receiving 2 players from in return, one on loan, and one on a permanent deal. The other offer has been rejected from an unknown club.

Marlon Pack of Cheltenham has a straight choice between Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday, with ITFC his preferred choice.

Matt Killgallon, recently released by Sunderland, is in talks, although I understand he isn't keen to play second fiddle to Smith and Chambers. He's looking at other options.

Kirk Broadfoot of Blackpool is to sign a 2 year contract this coming week with Ipswich Town. He is seen as a cheaper option than Richard Stearman, who ITFC are not keen on paying Wolves their quoted price of £1million.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake? I'm told Mick and TC are very keen to bring him to ITFC. However, his injury is a problem. I understand Ipswich are keen to offer Ebanks-Blake a pay-as-you-play deal until January, and if returns to full fitness, a 18 month deal will be on offer to him in January.

Harry Forrester is now McCarthys top transfer target due to losing out on Alan Judge to Blackburn. I understand a contract has been offered to Forrester and he's massively keen to come to Ipswich, however, compensation is proving to be a sticky point, which mean it could end up going to a tribunal.

Stephen Hunt is one who won't be joining Ipswich. Again, was very keen to come here, but finances at ITFC have stopped that.

Ipswich scouts had spent a lot of time in Scotland since January, so it's comes as no surprise that we are linked with the likes of Kenny McLean and Paul McGowan. Although McGowan is now likely to sign a new deal with St Mirren.

Lastly, Chris Forrester of St Pats in island. I fully expect him to sign for Ipswich this summer.

That's all folks, you can believe me or not believe me, but this is what I've been told, and what I know. If I am told anything more, I'll be sure to post it on here.

Cheers.

Middlesbrough are singing Ebanks-Blake, he's already had talks with them and is scheduled for more once he returns from holiday.

Swfc better then Ipswich so he will go to them and I'm a Ipswich fan

Haha you aren't an ipswich fan if you think wednesday are better than ipswich! haha you make me laugh

^ You're no Ipswich fan if you believe that.

All of these would be great signings

Ipswich have had talks with 3 players last week in London. so it could start to take shape. Good names in this and thanks for news bud!

Jay ET who is available on a free yeah?

Ebanks-Blake won't sign for anyone considering he's still on premier league wages and he broke his leg in early april so if you want to pay him 20k a week to do nothing for the first 3 months then fine, even then hell score 1 in 3/4 games!

JET is transfer listed not on a free. The offer is Trotta on a perm and someone else on loan, its rumord Kaka, but I think its someone else.

Hi, if I can carry on from the last post, it is all genuine as my best friend works at the club and has confirmed nearly all is correct. the only one we are not sure about is S E B. his injury is too bad and the risk of signing him is not worth it. Also I can tell you now the game with Norwich Will NOT go ahead.

Would that be del or Rodney trotter

What a load of rubbish

We wouldn't give you Trotta on a perm, and Kaca wouldn't be loaned again after Jol liking the winger for the 1st team squad.

Probably will be an unknown youngster, and then Kerim Frei on loan until Jan.

Chris Forrester would be a great asset. 20-y-o, right sided midfielder who knows how to score goals. Would also still like Harry Forrester.

Defo not trotta on a perm. Jol rates him fairly highly and hopes to (eventually) put him in the 1st team. kaka is 1st team now, so no chance of that either.

Cant see evantes - Blake going to Ipswich with the rumored £5000 a week wage cap more likely to go to palace although he is still injured

01 Jun 2013 17:54:12
burton to sign 2 players next week 1 believed to be Alex McDonald

01 Jun 2013 17:53:18
derby to sign kevin doyle next week

No, Derby County striking targets are:

1. Johnny Russell
2. James Vaughan
3. Simeon Jackson

Also Kevin Doyle isn't very good anymore, would much prefer Ebans Blake who is out of contract too.

Doyle didn't have the best season, granted, but the lad is still quality, and it wasn't long ago teams were quoted £5-10m to buy him. He is short of confidence in an underachieving team last year, he still could be better than anything we have. Although both him and Ebanks-Blake are going to be on BIG wages, we won't match those!

No we are not. Two things wrong with this. 1) wages, 2) not the poacher type of player Clough is looking for.

Ricardo Fuller finally looks set to be unveiled as a Port Vale player after meeting boss Micky Adams. The deal will be tied up sometime this coming week along with a central defender from league 1.

I don't think (even with the funds that vale have at the moment) that they can afford the £17,000 a week that fuller was on at charlton, wellens, carter and add a couple of defenders and experience g/k (sorrenson springs to mind) then they might have a chance, or are PNE AFTER THESE PLAYERS AS THEY HAVE. LOADS OF MONEY

Fuller is set to sign later today from True Vale Fan!

True vale fan ah. fullers wage demands will kill vale and this time will not come back

Fuller is happy to take a big wage drop to play for vale as he lives in the area. Will sign on wednesday.

New Premier league club Crystal Palace have set out to capture three targets before many other teams try to scupper any of the deals the players in question are : Charlie adam from Stoke City, Ross McCormack from Leeds utd and Jake Livermore from Tottenham Hotspurs all of whom have a combined valuation of 10.5 million.

Charlie Adam was our second best player in the closing stages and when he got sent off against spurs the game completely changed, don't think he'll be going to Palace.

Adam will go Palace I reckon. Hurts to say it being a Stoke fan but I can see it happen. He said he would like to work under Ian Holloway and to be honest, he's been a bit of a flop most of the season. The fact that he's always on the bench might make him want to go as well, but now Stoke have a new manager anything could happen.

He might do with Hughes as manager but I hope he stays too Super Charlie Adam!

Adam & Livermore have been talked about so are a possibility. We were in for McCormack a while ago but not sure if Palace still interested. Personally i'd like to see these 3 at the club.

Ross mccormack is not a target

Adam is coming to palace

Barnsley are in talks with Peterborough's Mark Little after he rejected the offer to stay at London road. Also a bid has recently been rejected for Chris O'Grady but Flitcroft remains hopeful. He is looking into the possibility of signing Jon Stead and/or Clayton Donaldson but this depends on the wages that both player demand.

Stead is rubbish don't want him. As for o'grady the piggies didn't want him last year all of a sudden they won't sell him?

If we don't get and now probably won't now then he will score against us

Knowing the piggies they will sell him to someone else to make sure we didn't sign him that's the Jones mentality.

Jones should be careful, he can sign for a club in Jan, wait while the season ends then go for nothing stop trying to hold clubs to ransom Jones

Mark's Little isn't coing to Barnsley, tranfer off unfortunately. Pish might have trouble though stopping other clubs signing him.

Posh don't need to "have trouble" keeping him, we know he's leaving.

01 Jun 2013 17:38:54
Reading will sign Albert Adomah from Bristol City, Pavel Pogrebnyak set to go back to the Russian Football league, Reading also interested in a Left Back probably buying Daniel Fox from Southampton whilst goalkeeper, Mikkel Andersen to go back to the Denmark Division

Albert Adomah will be crystal Palace's first summer signing!

No he's going to Reading not CP. unlucky!

If given the choice he'll choose the Premiership and CPFC.

Adomah is nowhere near premier league standard. Palace are there so they should aim a little higher. Reading want to be and have a great chance of being back there next season so I don't want him here either. i'd much rather we got Graham Dorrans from West Brom

You can have Fox that's fine :)

He was spotted in the Madejski Millennium Hotel on Friday talking to Nick Hammond and Nigel Adkins.

He might well opt for Palace, but he's certainly talking to other clubs as well.

02 Jun 2013 12:31:20
pogrebnyaks already said that if he leaves he wants to stay in england

Dorrans won't go to Reading and I don't think you'll be there next year after you've lost players like Guthrie, Le Fondre, Pogreniak, Morrison, Mcarthy, Karacan, Pearce. and you released a lot of your player who got you to the prem recently too so I can see you getting mid table at best to be honest and you won't get sharp he'll be at Forrest

Pogrebnyak should stay at Reading if he wants to stay in England. No Premiership club would seriously benefit from signing him.

Out of those players you've listed the only ones we're likely to lose are Pearce and Pogrebnyak.

The others will stay. In fact all others mentioned have come out and said they're happy to stay.

The wages are at Reading, not CP

01 Jun 2013 17:26:46
Probably will never happen but wba should sign Carlos vela only 23 scored 14 goals and 9 assists and very quick would be amazing with mbokani

01 Jun 2013 17:21:03
fulham joining the loan hunt for romelu lukaku and also planning to bring in andros townsend permanently or by loan

Highly doubt that, but would be 2 immense signings.

01 Jun 2013 17:16:31
Nottingham forest have made an audacious move for carlton cole but it seems the player may opt for stoke as mark hughes looks to bolster his front line. wba have also shown interest in the striker.

He's heading off to the MLS

Lee Tomlin will leave peterborough this summer. Sheffield Wednesday Huddersfield Blackburn intrested

Unless someones got a very deep pocket, (in the millions) Tomlin will be staying at Posh!

Posh chairman Dmac" star player is Tomlin, said would have to be kings ransom to even consider selling. He wants posh to win league 1.

He will only leave if a £5+ million comes in

Lol doubt it he is the chairmans pet he anit going anywhere this summer

£5million+ are you on planet earth? They guy will leave for as little as £1 million to £1.5 million

As a Hudds fan, just after this rumour first surfaced, McAnthony said that he'd want in excess of £5mil. So in other words he'll be there until his contract ends unless a very rich club come in for him

No one should keep an unhappy player even if you lot come back up you will still be a small club. If Tomlin wants to try get into a big club like Huddersfield let him go. No guarantee of a starting place here tho.

I know poshes chaiman said he's not going unless some1 has £5 mil there, and am like, is 5mil how much he's worth or how much he spends on half time pies every year! ;) that was a joke btw!

02 Jun 2013 00:07:02
Right, from a Posh fan - he ain't worth a million. I think he's crap as he only plays for 10 mins a game. As for Huddesfield being a big club, Oh Please, your starting "to believe" again ain't ya! I'd love to see him go and the only reason he'd move north is for the pies.

02 Jun 2013 03:45:28
The £5million pricetag was stated by Darragh himself on twitter shortly after the final day if I remember correctly. Just to avoid comments from people saying its made up BS. As a Hudds fan I think he's worth maybe £1.5mil at most, but Posh need him for promotion strat back, which I reckon they'll do.

'Big' refers to a direct comparison with Posh, so should read 'massive'!

02 Jun 2013 10:13:57
I`d class huddersfield as a big club. {Ed029's Note - Average second tier, surely?

Lee Tomlin Crap? Get a life pal. He improved so much last year. He is the key player to supply Gayle and is the middle of most decent things Posh do in the final third. Some people!

Don't understand what Tomlin has done to justify any fee in the millions! Rhodes went for £8m because he scored 86 goals in 3 seasons & broke record after record & was a full international. Tomlin has scored 27 in 116 games according to wiki which is poor! Keep the fat lad for your annual Barry Fry v Tomlin pie eating contest!

Huddersfield defo not a big club in championship terms but compared to Peterborough in terms of history, facilities, support, etc then it would be a step up for him.

That's Because Tomlin isn't a striker. He plays off the frontman as more of an attacking midfielder. He is allowed freedom and often drops into midfield. He is also technically proficient and has excellent vision, hence Gayle scoring so many.

13 goals, 13 assists last season in the championship isn't bad for a 24 year old is it?

I wouldn't class Lee Tomlin as crap, but he's nowt special, he ain't worth £5m, he ain't worth £1m, I'd say around £800k, and to be honest, I think we'd be able to get better, let posh keep him.

For one Lee Tomlin ain't unhappy, 2 Hudderfield are not a big club, 3 Huddersfield will more than likely get relegated next season unless they spend money they don't have on 5-6 new players, 4 he is valued at 5 million because he is happy at posh and posh don't want to sell him which means so why would they take anything less, obviously if he wanted to leave or if Posh wanted to sell him that figure would drop dramatically 5 anybody with a good footballing brain would say Posh have a great chance of going straight back up so why would he go to get relegated with Huddersfield, stop looking at your team with rose tinted glasses because for the record Huddersfield is on planet earth too

01 Jun 2013 17:01:18
Huddersfield to sign 4 players in next 2week:

James Vaughen ( not next week be week after due to getting married )
Jamie Paterson ( When he returns from cancun )
Ruben Rochina
Dale Stephens

then will sign 3or4 more before the season kicks of which 2 of them will be players from europe.

01 Jun 2013 16:53:50
Bournemouth want Craig Alcock and Tommy Rowe from Peterborough and are to offer £275k for the pair. This will provide competition for Francis and Daniels and give the Cherries much greater strength in depth. The Cherries also want to sign Ryan Tunniclife or Nathan Ake for a central midfield along side Arter or OKane. Finally the Cherries want a striker and despite being linked with Charlie Austin and Clayton Donaldson, the man they want is Patrick Bamford on loan from Chelsea who will not be staying at MK Dons

Whoever wrote this must either be under the age of ten or living in a dream world called Football manager! Sorry to be harsh but you clearly no nothing about football or have the brain capacity of a fish! Try timing that figure by four times and we might just let you have tommy but both lmao person!

275K?. you must be having a laugh, the most ridiculous post to date.

Ha ha ha no chance on Rowe for that! Posh looking for 1.5m at least!

It will take a lot more than 275K to get both Rowe and Alcock I would say it will take a bid of £2.5 million to get them both

For the pair, ha ha! tommy would cost well over that on his own.
Now get off mummy and daddys computer and go play with your crayons.

Signings within the budgets on gates of less than 9000 would be best I recon!

01 Jun 2013 19:13:15
275k for the pair what a joke!

Yes as if youd be lucky to sign alcock and rowe for 2. 75 million posh won't sell there best wing backs to you lot for pennies haha you crack me up with your delusions, how drunk were you when you wrote this?

Lol good one alcock and Rowe for under 300k 7figures wanted alone for Rowe

Posh won't be letting Alcock go as only rb left and Rowe is for sale but it posh stated it will be seven figures utp

Plus I can't see Austin going to Bournemouth, after the season he has just had I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to Everton or Villa, or maybe even WBA (who will probably not get Lukaku on loan next season), I could be wrong and probably am but these seem more logical destinations for Austin than Bournemouth

02 Jun 2013 00:09:10
Rowe won't go for less then 500k and Alcock ain't going anywhere. Do people just pick names out of a hat and try to think of something up or is it there wives telling them what to do again.

I was the first to reply to this message but who ever wrote this post must be feeling either pretty stupid or still hiding behind the sofa. love how posh fans all think the same #loyal till we die btw young man who wrote this latest version of Football manager 2104 out soon pmsl

I was laughing so hard at the Alcock/Rowe part that I almost missed the link with Austin, Neymar and Messi to follow Ronaldo to the Cherries

01 Jun 2013 16:48:20
After confirmation of Iain Vigurs rejecting a 2 year deal at Oldham, Lee Johnson is turning his attention to out of contract Rochdale midfielder Jason Kennedy and former Huddersfield midfielder Scott Arfield. However, it is expected arfield will join preston, turning Johnsons main attention to Jason Kennedy

Wouldn't be unhappy with this. Always thought Kennedy looked decent when he played against oafc.

01 Jun 2013 16:35:15
Having signed Jamie Cureton Cheltenham will next announce the signing of Brian Saah from Torquay. Two more players expected shortly afterwards as well - thought to be Luke Rooney and a proven striker.

Jamie cureton hasn't signed for Cheltenham yet so you got that wrong

Jamie Cureton HAS signed for Cheltenham so YOU have it wrong

Behave children. Jamie Cureton has agreed terms but has not been confirmed yet, he could yet change since he's not signed but he is as good as in.

The signing of jamie cureton hasn't been confirmed yet. not put pen to paper.

Not officially announced yet

01 Jun 2013 16:25:33
a web site. dundee united rejected a second offer for russell, derby preparing a third bid now, to get this deal done and out of the way, no other club standing in derbys way of getting him, just the add ons that they not really interested in they want live cash, the talk of celtic wanting a sniff on the situation is poop, just a way of trying to bump up the price!

01 Jun 2013 16:56:56
Bradford will sign one of Sanchez Watt or Serge Gnabry on a season long loan. PP has good links with Arsenal and Wenger and are hopeful of doing a deal.

Watt was released on a free so this is rubbish, can people please get facts right before posting

Sanchez Watt has been released by Arsenal

Sanchez Watt's been released.

You'll have a helluva job signing Sanchez-Watt on loan as he is being released by Arsenal. PP's relationship won't help when he is a free agent! I really do wish people would stop posting rubbish.

Sanchez Watt is no longer an Arsenal player so he won't be going anywhere on loan.

He has been offered a big deal by Colchester who have already signed his housemate Craig Eastmond.

He knows the club already and remains local to London by signing for the Essex club

He may want to sign for Bradford as they are on the up- I doubt he is in for a relegation fight with colchester

01 Jun 2013 16:26:04
Norwich are preparing a large bid for Marco Van Ginkel after Chelsea put in £8m for the young Dutch star.

Hughton wasn't expecting serious competition from Chelsea/Man United, and is now desperate to get him to Carrow Road and have a pre-contract deal agreed soon.

Yea, like norwich can compete with Chelsea, lol

01 Jun 2013 20:13:55
Believable. It's happened with players before. Spurs and Liverpool were linked with RVW before Norwich got him. Depends if MVG thinks he'll play at Chelsea. Depends if he wants money or games.

Well Norwich can't compete with either. but they don't have to. At £8-9M he'd be a squad player at either Chelsea or Man U. At Norwich he'd be a star. Wages are the key I think. Take the money and not play or take less money and play 30+ prem games. Assuming of course the supposed interest is real

He might prefer to join norwich as he would get more game time but at chelsea he would be left to rot on the reserves

Of course it could happen - same as RWV he will look at norwich as a stepping stone, a stage to prove himself playing week in week out. rather than sitting on the Judy Dench at one of the big clubs.

02 Jun 2013 10:20:08
Heard last night Russell Martin has already been sold to Aston villa with a deal going through when the window opens. God I hope not would be gutted if we lost the Norfolk cafu

If it hasn't been put on the official Norwich city website then the thing about Russel is fake mate!

Russ would never leave.

If Russell Martin did go to Aston Villa then we may get Kyle Naughton back or Sam Byram. I hope Russell Martin doesn't go though.

Russel Martin out and Danny Simpson in as back up to Whittaker

I don't think we should sell Russell Martin. I am pretty sure he signed a new contract last season and he has been a regular player in the side. He is able to play both Full back and Centre back. In any case he doesn't fit the mould for the type of player that Villa are trying to bring in. He isn't the best centre back in the world as he likes a wander but he can tackle and pass and scores the odd goal or two so we should hang on to him. He might get benched a bit more next year but he'll get games for sure.

Aruna Dindane is going on trial with Preston North End but will need to prove his fitness

01 Jun 2013 17:52:17
How are so many players going no trial? No teams are in training at the moment!

Not sure Preston are looking for a 5' 9" striker. They need a target man.

01 Jun 2013 16:21:05
Gary Harkins to sign for motherwell on 2yr deal next week

01 Jun 2013 15:13:23

jake bidwell-everton

billy sharp-southampton

Billy Sharp haha keep dreaming

If you got promoted maybe but no way will you get Billy and Jay in league 1

How many billy sharps do southampton have, everyone seems to be signing one

02 Jun 2013 16:45:40
Forrester replacement Emmanuel Thomas in a swap deal perhaps?

01 Jun 2013 14:38:09
Man city, arsenal and Liverpool are all interested in jason steele from middlesbrough. Any deal agreed will see players coming in the opposite direction on loan.
Liverpool/arsenal look to be in the driving seat as they are willing to offer the most attractive package.
Any deal will see boro bring in top talent from the premiership to enable them to gear up for a tough championship campaign.
Ross Turnbull is set to complete his return to middlesbrough in the next few weeks and also rumoured to be returning to middlesbrough is Chris brunt from wba.
Dorrens also is linked with a move to middlesbrough, teaming up again with the manager that gave him his big break in english football.

Steele has been with boro since he was 12, so it is unlikely he will leave for a bench spot. And Turnbull is a poor player and would never be able to keep a clean sheet.

Did Jason steel put this comment up? Why on earth would the big boys be looking at him? He did well a couple of season ago, ain't done nothing since, so y?

Isn't Brunt captain at WBA? So his options will be captain at a Premiership club or Middlesbrough. mmm tough one!

These rumours are true, Steele and leutweiler out, Turnbull and ripely will be our 2 keepers

Steele is a decent keeper who is probably better than most in the premiership and is still learning. It makes me laugh when so called Boro supporters criticise him when we would be in L 1 without him and that is fact. Having said that they criticised M S and he was the best keeper for years and has done well for Fulham. If we were offered a good deal then unfortunately we would have to let him go to bolster other areas of the team.

Steele has been a stand out player this season, and put in man of the match performances. I would rather have him than turnbull!

'Why would the big boys be looking at him?' I think a more appropriate question is why wouldn't the big boys be looking at him. He's young (22/23) and by far the best keeper outside the premier league, having said that, I doubt he'd leave his boyhood club to sit on the bench after seeing the way turnbull and brad jones' careers have gone

I would hate to see Steele leave as he is at his boyhood club and puts in a great performance each week. He's a brill goalkeeper and turn bull should not come back

Steele is the best keeper in the league. I would hate to see him leave so I hope this isn't true

01 Jun 2013 14:35:29
David Healy to sign for Rotherham you have heard it hear first!

At 33 years of age. don't think this will happen even though he's been released from bury. its younger player were after.!

Any More Preston Rumours

Rudd 'may' be coming on loan.

Stuckmann will be going if Rudd signs.

4,000 season tickets sold so far

Hume not coming back as club can't afford his wages

Grayson looking at Liverpool, Manchester United & Everton for loans.

Humphries not signing

6000 season tickets*

Hume not coming back? he has to come back, his contract at doncaster expired.

Tv today 3rd June suggesting Chris Humphey will sign for Preston.

Humphey will 100% NOT sign.

Rumour has it that Humphries got a golden handshake from Trevor Hemmings to sign for PNE.

Thought to be around £100k to make up for the low wages

01 Jun 2013 14:16:24
Walsall close to agreeing a deal for Lewis Gobern.

01 Jun 2013 14:11:23
andras stieber younger brother of zoltan stieber former yeovil loanee, is interested in a loan move to the championship with yeovil being a possibilty

01 Jun 2013 13:58:31
Strange but actually true.
Comedy duo the chuckle brothers are putting together a consortium to purchase Rotherham united.
They have approached a couple of high profile investors in an effort to buy their hometown club.
To me / to you!

No there not they have put money into the club to help with building nys and buying players
Tony stewart wouldn't sell anyway

Dont be silly Lucan.

Strange rather than true! Over to you!

Have the brothers really got that much money?, can't see it, TBH,

This is a total load of codswallop!

01 Jun 2013 13:57:38
Hull have made an initial bid for Kasper Schmeichel which has been rejected, but expect an agreement around £2m to be made.
Reports coming out of Hull that a serious bid has also been made for Jordan Rhodes. Not sure I believe it myself given it would take £8m+ 40k pw in wages to get him and Hooper/Austin would be a lot cheaper, but it is a source that has been right before.

Not a chance with kaspers 4mil min! Then on top of that he doesn't want to leave

01 Jun 2013 16:35:54
I await him signing his new contract with interest then!

01 Jun 2013 18:40:20
Leicester will not conduct any business with Hull City. Stop wasting our time and look elsewhere.

01 Jun 2013 20:53:24
It's more likely that he'll see his contract out and take it from there. Rather keep him and let him leave on a free then take a paltry fee for him.

You are going to look very foolish if kasper does leave leicester aren't you?

Funny how leicester fans are getting all nervy and protective over players because they can't bare to see them leave :p face the reality leicester!

01 Jun 2013 13:57:13
Marcello Trotta (Fulham) and Jordan Bowery (Aston Villa) both are loan target for Rotherham

Please have Bowery!

If Trotta stays in league one it will be at Brentford

01 Jun 2013 13:51:56
Roger Johnson in talks with Ipswich over season long loan. wolves don't want to sell with player having 2 years left on contract so loan could suit both party's. deal will include clause that if promoted ipswich could buy the defender for 2 million. but town would have to pay 12_15k towards players 35k a week wages. if wolves bounce right bk player could return to molineux next season

Really can't see this happening, Its well publicised that wages are going to be kept as low as possible and that fact it would be a loan signing really don't make sense. Good player though and good experience at champ level.

Be very surprised if this was any where near the mark as chambers is as good if not better town fan

01 Jun 2013 18:58:50
erm load of bull

The same RJ who has had three back to back relegation seasons?

Roger Johnson a good player lmao I can't wait till he's gone.

01 Jun 2013 13:49:36
West Bromwich Albion will forget about Bentley in order to seal Aiden Mcgready move from spartak moscow for 3-4mil mark

01 Jun 2013 16:15:25
That doesn't make sense the albion want to get David Bentley not Mgeadey.

01 Jun 2013 16:31:47
Would be good sign him but I doubt he would go to wba

01 Jun 2013 16:58:26
Although he's in the last year of his contract the transfer fee I've seen banded about is closer to £7 million and with his wages reportedly at £70,000 a week he wouldn't fit in to the wage structure at Albion.

I'd love this deal to be true as I think he's exactly what Albion need, a wide man with pace and trickery to offer width to the side and a replacement for Odemwingie.

Just can't see it though.

I'm a WBA fan and would love this but I seem to remember him going from Celtic for £9-10 million so I doubt his value will have depreciated that much in 3 years.

01 Jun 2013 18:56:37
How about throwing Odemwingie in as well, I bet he would loooooooove to go back to Russia where he could feel wanted and loved again.

Get rid of odemwingie and buy sensation LUKAKU {Ed027's Note - Out of there price range me thinks

No he is not, Baggies could afford to pay £30million if need be, but the chairman will not sanction it and will not
break wage structure, its not that they have n, t got the money, its just that JP
The chairperson won't spend it.

01 Jun 2013 13:47:14
Any Leicester rumours?

01 Jun 2013 17:34:57
Yep there is a rumour that Leicester blew it in the play offs. oh wait, its not a rumour its true. lol.

Rumour has it they are still in the championship

01 Jun 2013 12:48:04
Rene Howe could be a target for league 1 side Walsall should striker Will Grigg not sign a new contract.

01 Jun 2013 12:47:03
accuna from real madrid center forward playing on loan in the spanish 2 nd division is a target, source is south london press online plus parish has said he was a target if we were in the championship so hesv definately interested in him as were in the prem this year he 22 and a free agent in june bonus

01 Jun 2013 13:47:20
Derby have agreed terms with Dundee united for Jonny Russell, soon to be a ram.

Dundee utd this morning turned down a new offer of just under 700k from derby. this is far from over

They clearly haven't so I don't know why you even bothered tbf

No doubt Derby will miss out, as they show how inept they are at negotiating transfer fees, Mr. Rush must have been to the Tom Glick school of how louse to things up!

Are you on crack? we are no were near I don't even think a fee has beeen agreed and it will be going on for weeks yet! dcfc

I have to say people who have a bad word about Tom Glick are clueless. He managed to steer the club away from phenonminal debts and created a real local spirit actively promoting youth and the community. Some supporters have no idea that football is also a business and you need to generate cash to spend it. Why would Man City have taken him on if he was such an person!

01 Jun 2013 23:05:50
These negative comments about Tom Glick are from people who have no idea about football as a business. He did great things for club, reduced debts, promoted youth and integrated the club into the community and supported a manager with a long term vision. let's hope Sam Rush can be half as good then we will be in the premiership!

02 Jun 2013 00:52:24
doubt it he's scored 20 goals for Dundee this season and for half the season he's had a broken leg so well do well to get him but can't see it celtic will out bid us at 1.1mil and rush won't go anymore! Tom Glick school!

Glick wasn't as bad as most people made out, but when it comes to transfers he seemed clueless. The Jan transfer window after Forest did the double over us and Crawley beat us was a total shambles. no Waghorn or Sammon.

I think Rush is more street wise and for once we won't be seen as a soft touch when selling players. We shall see if this holds true this summer.

Not bad mouthing Glick for what he did for the club or the Academy. In his own words, his weakness was negotiating transfer fees with other clubs, that's why he was trying to pass this part of his job on before he left for Man City.
Cheers

No problems mate. I think he wanted a DOF but I think Clough was set against it.

No issue against Tom Glick as he was an employee for the owners. You could tell he cared and I think he is a family friend of the Clough's.

Cardiff, Celtic, Hull and Crystal Palace are all interested in Stoke's Ireland International Jon Walters. All are willing to pay £4 million for the Striker

Celtic ain't interested in him they have other targets don't think he's worth 4m either.
dhman

He ain't done nothing in the Prem, so why would the new Prem boys who want to stay in the Prem, be looking at someone of his calibre? He might be ok in Scotland but that's about it.

Jonathan Walters is well worth 4mil, i'd rather keep him he's got great strength and stamina

Unless his contract is due to run out, you would not get Jon Walters for £4 million

Lets not get carried away - the money in the Prem is over the top and does not guarantee a 1st class product for the customer. A lot of the games are pure mince. If Sky ever pull the plug.

Lol why would celtic be interested in a striker who doesn't score and for 4 million good 1 100 times better stikers out there

01 Jun 2013 13:38:06
Swansea City are to battle with the likes of Southampton, Liverpool and Arsenal for Celtic midfielder Victor Wanayama.

Swansea don't have the funds for that kind of signing.

No way would he go Swansea, with arsenal and liverpool interested, plus they ain't got the the funds for a player of his calibre, Swansea scrounge around looking for bargains, £5m is there record buy, can't see them willing to triple atleast that to buy sorry.

If Arsenal and Liverpool want him then swans and soton got no chance

As saints be interesting who we go for.

That belgium midfielder in Serie A or wanyama.

Scrounge around looking for bargains? Not really scrounging is it mate having a great scouting set up, I'm going to assume that you are either a Southampton, Liverpool or Arsenal fan looking to gang up on the so called smaller club or a jealous Cardiff supporter who would love to have enjoyed the success we have had over the past 2 seasons. People who say that we scrounge around looking for bargains, that is not the case, we simply have a great scouting set up than can unearth these hidden gems which usually come from Spain and who help us achieve higher finishes each year and gain more success. Do your homework next time pal.

^soton got no chance because Liverpool want him? HA reminds me of last summer when we couldn't get Ramirez because Liverpool wanted him.
Don't under estimate Cortese mate.

Actually the record signing for the jacks is £7million champ

Liverpool wanted Ramierez and Forren, saints signed both of them from under their noses, don't rule southampton out just cause Liverpool and arsenal want a player

Southampton have just signed a major sponsorship deal with Adidas. Putting them alongside Chelsea, AC Milan and Real Madrid. Boosting their budget. Also their chairman is very ambitious and has already stated a top four finish target. It might sound crazy but they have a good academy set up (Bale, Walcott, Chamberlain, Shearer, Wayne Bridge, Luke Shaw, Callum Chambers) and a good foundation. A new CB, DFM, Winger and Striker and it could be done. And finally people forget that saints spent 30 million last season without the owners backing so there already no mugs.

Sorry it's not a sponsorship deal - Adidas are just the new kit suppliers. They are yet to announce the new sponsors - and that's assuming the current sponsors -aap3 - give up the last year of their deal.

And with the academy it's only any good to Saints if they can keep hold of the young players - and you might as well name the current crop - Like Shaw, James Ward-Prowse, Calum Chambers, Corby Moore, Ben Reeves, Loyd Isgrove

02 Jun 2013 09:55:18
Since when have southampton been such a big club, you have to remember that your not. Just because you bought rameirez you think you can any player in the world and you dought very much that your up there with the likes of real madrid

5. 55 million is the swans record transfer deal, I expect them to break that this year, problem is we are now competing with bigger teams for players, its the laudrup factor that may help but its going typo be tough to get top quality

Didnt soton want coutinho but the obvious choice was to go to liverpool. who looks the better player ramirez or coutinho? ummm

Record signing for the swans is £5. 55m for Pablo H with Ki coming in a close second at £5.5m

Swans scrounge? are you high? they are one of the best run clubs plus they discover gems every year like michu, chico & the rest, not to mention players turn down bigger wages at so called bigger clubs to play for Laudrup, the funds incoming this year will mean swans can spend more than they ever have

This scrounging that's been implied must surely be a big misunderstanding?!

The club will only spend what it can afford, it's an ethos that has developed a premier league that is having a shot at Europe next season and has turned out a nice profit in the process whilst making record signings!

We've spent a little extra each year as the profit margins get better.

What many people don't seem to realize is that the board will NEVER EVER do anything that would financially endanger the club. No player, manager or search for glory is worth it and that's why the board never stand in anybodies way, if they don't want to be here, why keep them here! Never put up a fight, just a price tag that results in good business.

We might not be the biggest of teams but we've made more profit than a majority of 'bigger' clubs.

I agree, Wanayama is very unlikely but at the same time, I do expect new record signings, up to £10m wouldn't surprise me at all and surely it'll be a record broken for total transfer spend!

Coutinho is only at Liverpool cause you're paying outrageous wages for him, Ramirez took less money than Liverpool were offering to come to saints, don't be too jealous when Southampton have completed the Lamela and Nainggolan/Wanyama signings. Cause last season is probably the last season you'll finish above us.

Also, enjoy being in the same situation where Pompey are when you have to pay your debt back and can't afford the players you have

Also, to do with the sponsor, Adidas are the technical sponsor, and apparently it's a big deal, 6 years and we won't be getting template kits at all

aaap3 are supposed to be pulling out as sponsor as they can't afford it now were in the Prem, which co-insides with NC finding a loop-hole in the new fair play rules. Liebherr will be the new sponsor, though this is just a cover to pump more money into the club under the guise of a sponsor

He was talking about being there with them teams with Adidas, of course saints aren't on the same level as Real Madrid very few teams are!
As for Liverpool, they are not the team they use to be, and without saurez you would have been nothing more than a mid table team. {Ed003's Note - funny I read somewhere yesterday that without his goals they would have finished exactly in the same position.}

If we finish above Liverpool next Season I will be a very happy Southampton fan!

Only if everyone else finder have their top scorer

01 Jun 2013 13:32:44
if we get sanchez watt it would be like barca getting neymar! {Ed029's Note - Who are "we"?

We had Sanchez Watt at Hillsborough on loan. While he looked skillful he didn't really contribute to the team effort. But that was in league 1 so you never know.
JR

You mean that he is highly overrated?
shorty

01 Jun 2013 13:32:41
Defender Craig Alcock attracting interest from newly promoted Bournemouth and Yeovil. ! Bids believed to be made at £100,000

Yeovil won't re-sign a player for a six figure fee who left for nothing.

Alcock actually left for 100000 due to him coming through the youth system

01 Jun 2013 18:07:48
he didn't leave for free yeovil got 100K compensation for him from pufc due to him being out of contract.

Not nothing, in fact £100k not as transfer but as compensation

Bournemouth have made an approach for danny ings for 500 k FACT! I know a reliable source

Ings was hit and miss at Bournemouth and even worse at Burnley so unless Eddie Howe has lost the plot, He is not coming back

100,000, haha good luck with that he worth way more

It would be unusual for Yeovil to re-sign a player for a largish fee. This type of player would generally be signed on a free, if at all.

01 Jun 2013 13:30:37
Huddersfield are looking to bring in:
James Vaughan
Frankie Fielding
Jamie Paterson
Ruben Rochina
Stephen Crainey to link up with old mate Keith Southern.

You missed out on Gary Taylor-Fletcher also joining you?

He's the Huddersfield WHY signing this season

Not likely all maybe one or two

Gary TF would definately be the big WHY signing haha it won't happen though as town are looking to bring in young talent instead of knocking on experienced players

01 Jun 2013 13:28:33
The reason Iain Vigurs has rejected Oldham is that they wanted to give him a two year deal, and he did not want to sign for that long at Oldham, although he is willing to sign a two year contract at Carlisle as it is closer to Scotland and he feels relegation is less likely there, he will complete the deal in 10 days time when Abbott returns from holiday

01 Jun 2013 15:46:26
More likely, he's on Rangers radar.
Carlisle over oldhamnot a chance

The deal was agreed at oldham. He changed his mind however as lee Johnson was on holiday and vigurs suddenly decided he wanted a 1 year contract. Wouldn't trust his verbal agreements until he's put pen to paper.

Feels relegation is less likely at us? Lol

Wishful thinking. He has had a good year in the SPL and is not about to swap it for the First Division.

Considering Carlisle is closer to Scotland in a better finical position is a safer place to live, I think he would pick Carlisle over Oldham.

The standard of the SPL football (Apart from Celtic) is League 2 and League 1 pays MORE

Carlisle pay more than SPL. HA HA!

Iain vigurs is a left winger greg is after a right sided midfielder.

Carlisle are better off financially then oldham?haha yeah ok, what ever you say

Sure Oldham have over a million more reasons than Carlisle have after our cup run last season.

Thing is we won;t waste it either on players who can;t commit, SPL is a poor league 2

01 Jun 2013 12:35:07
Steve Kean going to Millwall. First signing will be Mort Gamst Pederson from Blackburn. Who is avalible on a free.

Steve keen didn't like him at ewood, he called him a pentioner saying he was too old, that was 2 years ago and he's only aged

Steve kean is45 years old! Not exactly a pensioner! person!

Sorry misread that! MGP is only 31/32! Still a few years in him!

01 Jun 2013 19:17:31
No shebby called him a pensioner, god help millwall kean is hopeless and a snake

Shebby Singh said that and he isn't a free transfer he has another 13 month on his contract

01 Jun 2013 20:19:30
dave clement of psg to sign 3 year deal on tuesday as millwall boss official

You mean Paul clement

Dave that famous French name haha if kean is the new manager then the board should go the man is snake a terrible manager and any team that takes him r nuts

Millwall fans be very wary of kean, he's dodgy! he's in close contact with to many agents and the only players you will sign are ones that will benefit his pocket!

Why would Paul clement want to go down millwall, let's be fair they don't have the resources to get any higher, every time a decent player is found, they sell him, leave psg for that, do me a favour.

01 Jun 2013 12:35:04
Nouha Dicko is set to sign for Blackpool on a permanent transfer after 2 successful loan spells.

Looks like this ones going to come true.

Come on not that dicko. in all seriousness he would be a good signing for under 1 million pounds anything over then I am not too sure

This could be good signing but dobut it because wigan will lose mcmanaman to a prem club and dicko will replace him

Could be one of the first signings to come in, now that eards, evatt and baps gone

Dicko was ok of the bench and did score a couple of late goals but he is certainly not the prolific goal scorer we need

He was rarely used in anything other than that context so it's impossible to say if he'd be a prolific scorer or not.

He's got every attribute

Mcmanaman was good in the cup but didn't do much in the EPL, I reckon he will stay at wigan

01 Jun 2013 12:35:03
Monaco have inquired about Rooney but Manchester utd will not say what they want until after the brazil match until moyes see if rooney still want to leave and will not sell him to a english team after numerous clubs say they don't want him. manchester utd have given moyes a lot of money to spend on players he wants to 2 midfield possibly some one to replace rooney and cb lb and a winger

How would you know? Moyes has spoken to anyone about his plans yet.
More mystic Meg predictions!

01 Jun 2013 12:33:18
Bradford City have made a loan bid for Serge Gnabry of Arsenal. The young midfielder is thought of highly at Arsenal and Bradford City is seen as the ideal club to further his development.

01 Jun 2013 12:31:57
Real Madrid to offer 30m + Alonso for Suarez

This is true

01 Jun 2013 17:50:19
This is BS

01 Jun 2013 12:26:17
Aston Villa are looking to capture Millwalls right winger James Henry ahead of West Ham & several big Championship Clubs. Big Sam is believed to have all but agreed a deal with the south London club but Lambert, who has been tracking Henry, is keen to bring the wide man to Villa park.

Why would Villa want him when we have Lowton who is a very good young right back?

Lowton is a wing backand Henry is a right winger

Because Henry's not a right back.

Ive watched henry for the past 3 seasons and he, ll bomb in the prem, just not good enough. I won, t begrudge him a move up to the prem if its money he, s after to secure his future, but he will struggle big time in the prem. good luck jh. block 28

01 Jun 2013 12:22:32
Jamie Paterson will sign for huddersfield when he returns from cancun. Fee is 800k could rise to 1.1mil

Walsall fans he won't go for nomore than that

Sean Scannel - 500k
Danny Ward - 1mil

two top wingers there young when they joined town like paterson is so he defo not worth more than 1mil

It all depends on how much he's worth to Walsall, not how much Huddersfield think he's worth. Also if the player pushes for a transfer or not.

01 Jun 2013 16:02:03
The reason this has leaked out is cause the lad wants the move.

Sorry Huddersfield if you have not offered 1. 2 Million then he is not signing for you, sorry to break your hearts

Yes he will, Huddersfield are not the only team interested. Villa, Southampton, Norwich, Burley ect.

I now paterson personally and I can categorically tell you he does NOT want a move, he does not want to relocate up north and is not keen on the area.

The reason it has been made public is it was reported by Huddersfield media. Also, have you seen Paterson play regularly? If not, I can't see how you can say what he's worth. Either cough up or shut up!

I am perfectly happy where I live too and do not want to re-locate. but if someone would like to offer me a lot more money to do the same job them I'm sure I could be persuaded to change my mind;-)

02 Jun 2013 07:03:36
Shows you Huddersfield Town fans know nothing. Not every player moves for more cash. Pato loves the midlands. If he moves he'd love it to be local. Pato knows money will come in time. he's level headed. Even heard he's told his representatives to not accept anything until he comes back from cancun.

What you Walsall fans are forgetting is that we (hudds) had a 'level headed' lad who got a sniff of 40k a week and £8 million pounds later he was gone, so protect him all you want but with the investment in youth at Huddersfield it would be an ideal move to better his career, and i'm sure he wouldn't say no to the higher wages

01 Jun 2013 12:21:17
Ipswich are closing in on Cheltenham midfielder Marlon Pack who is out of contract in the summer. Mick McCarthy hopes to bring in new centre midfielders after Andy Drury was released and Guraine N'Daw left without terms agreed. The League Two player, who failed to complete a transfer to Swindon in January, is seen to be a cheap, young and promising player, although compensation will need to be paid to the Robins as he is under 24. Ipswich are facing competition for the 22 year old from Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday, but seem to be the favourites.

Marlon Pack is joining Gillingham

01 Jun 2013 16:32:40
No chance will Pack go to Gillingham when he has a choice of Bournemouth, Charlton, Sheff Wed, Peterborough and Derby.

01 Jun 2013 16:26:11
This is true, he will be joining Gillingham.

Where would he rather be championship with big chances of at least playoffs or a mid table relegation battling league 1 team?

01 Jun 2013 23:36:15
He will not join gillingham when a certain man is the manager

What's that got to do with it? Most CTFC fans have ill feeling towards "that man" but I'm not convinced Pack has anything to do with that.

However, he won't be going there anyway, I'm 99%.

01 Jun 2013 12:11:07
Markus Babbel's agent has been in touch with millwall stating his client still wants to be interviewed for the vacant post. Source: club empolyee

01 Jun 2013 15:59:20
Been given reliable info from someone in the club that aidy boothroyd has been offered the job and accepted it, just a matter of sorting out compensation to Northampton,

IMO he's missed the boat

01 Jun 2013 11:34:07
Former Scunthorpe United Goalkeeper Paul Musselwhite is going to be the new Goalkeeping coach after Cutler's Departure. {Ed029's Note - At what club..?

01 Jun 2013 11:33:21
Crewe again looking at Chris Iwelumo as they did in January before he went on loan to Oldham but are unlikely to sign the 34 year old soon to be free agent and is more likely to sign for League two Scunthorpe.

01 Jun 2013 11:30:42
Scunthorpe United are after Free agent Andy Welsh.

01 Jun 2013 11:15:52
Newcastle ready to pay £10m for Derby wonder kid Will Hughes, and loan him back to them for a season. Manchester United and City also interested.

Hes not that good

He is, he's a class act.

Well out the three clubs which do you think he would sooner sign for newcastle bottom of pecking order

Not worth it, if I were newcastle i'd get conor doyle, much better than hughes

01 Jun 2013 17:29:14
Newcastle pay 10 million, 10 million. then loan him out? ye right

He wants to come to the villa to stay in the midlands

He's not worth 1m never mind 10

Yeah he is

As a derby fan I agree that he isn't the finished article yet but he is only 17 and the second youngest player EVER to play for England under 21's. Younger than Rooney, Wilshire, Oxldae-Chamberlain. The price is for his potential as much as is current ability

I'd take that :)

He's going to the Villa as he doesn't want to move from the Midlands.

If you want hughes that's what is needed 8-10 million and a loan back, take it or leave it.

He won't leave Derby in this transfer window, it's more likely to be Jan, similar to Zaha at Palace.

01 Jun 2013 23:10:25
Sell him for £5m cash no add on nonsense that is good business and reinvest in three proven championship players. He has great potential but Hendrick, Bryson and Hughes cannot play in the same midfield.

Unless we play a 433, which I'd love to see.

Imagine a front 6 of:

Hendrick Bryson Hughes

Russell (?) Sammon Ward

Mouth-watering stuff.

01 Jun 2013 11:13:55
Derby to sign Ryan Noble (Sunderland) on a freebie.

01 Jun 2013 10:59:39
Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett, wants to sign Jake Wright from Oxford United. He's been an admirer of the central defender for sometime, but he may face competition from Charlton Athletic. They have also been monitoring the Central defender at various Oxford matches last season.

Manager Chris Wilder said that a big offer will have to be made, if Oxford United are to lose there biggest asset. 300k could be enough.

01 Jun 2013 13:46:03
I seen the bloke play and no way is he worth that 50,000 max he is only playing in second division

01 Jun 2013 17:14:21
What rubbish he's worth more than 50, k and wolves are free falling like portsmouth so lg2 next season

01 Jun 2013 17:36:21
50,000? Sorry, Edgar Davids and Danny Wilson (to name a few) have said he's the best defender in League Two.

01 Jun 2013 18:04:56
50,000? No way we would let him go for that, our captain and the best left-sided CB in league 2, I agree with OP 300k min we would accept.

Jake wright could play much higher then league 2 but think he will stay another year.

HE COULD GO FOR 250,000+! ONE OF THE BEST DEFENDER IN LEAGUE 2

Many managers last season said he was too good for league 2 last season. Danny Wilson wanted him at Sheffield Unied, but couldn't afford him. Last season was his first season where he never suffered with injuries and was brilliant. He left Crawley for Brighton about 5 years ago for big money and it failed after Poyet went there, so he won't jump up the league at the first chance again. He loves living in Oxfordshire, his 5 yr old boy settled in a school. And has said he's so happy at the club.
He's out of contract next summer. So I can see him staying. And if we don't go up. He'll go on a free next summer. Or we sell him in Jan for a discounted 100 or so grand.

Best CB in league 2 without a shadow of a doubt. Would require over 300k easily.

01 Jun 2013 10:55:50
James Vaughan is a terrier!!!!!!!!! 1. 25mil!

01 Jun 2013 13:39:01
no he's not, norwich players are still on holiday

01 Jun 2013 16:36:23
i will ask him tomorrow as i'm off to his wedding

01 Jun 2013 10:49:15
joan verdu on saints radar, worked with poch at espanyol

01 Jun 2013 10:48:38
Derby have had a second bid for 700k + add ons rising to 1. 25m rejected for Russell from Dundee United. The Arabs are looking for around 900k with not as many add ons, as they need cash up front to pay increasing debts and the keep the club stable

Dundee united are financially stable. They always find players and sell them on clubs rubbed very well.

01 Jun 2013 10:15:32
I have heard from a reliable source that robson signed 2 days ago and the dons are just waiting to unveil him. I hope this is true as he's an anchor man in midfield. STAND FREE!

Doubt it as they have already signed willo flood

01 Jun 2013 10:14:46
Pescara and ex-Manchester City winger Vladimir Weiss being tracked by Swansea, Aston Villa and Hamburg.

Not another Swansea link to a winger, that's the one position that doesn't need strengthening - agent talk I suspect

2nd comment, in my opinion that's one of the first area's we do need to strengthen, not enough fire power, and all our wingers are way too similar in their play.

I partly agree with the above comment. A good fourth winger should be up there at the top of the list. Lamah hasn't really shown much yet so can't depend on him for progression next season.

Weiss would be a nice addition!

Swans wingers are all different in play, dyer is better at hugging touch line, yet routs is better at cutting in and pablo can look for the killer pass, agree this sounnds like agent talk, for most players looking to make a name being linked with swans is a good thing so agents all mention them

01 Jun 2013 10:10:51
Colchester United linked with Akinfenwa, JD will partner him up front with Sears/Ibehre rotated. Sanchez Watt close to signing to play on the left wing.

Budget won't be stretched to include Ibehre and Akinfenwa.

So hope akinfenwa joins he is such a tank and watt would be an amazing signing let's just hope we also sign a left back and another centre back

01 Jun 2013 10:21:20
Rumours now in that Derby County had their second bid rejected, unknown amount, for Johnny Russell.

They then made a third bid which could have add ons taking it all the way up to 1. 25 million.

This bid has not been accepted or rejected yet.

Celtic are not coming in for player.

01 Jun 2013 09:48:12
Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson is backing Tony Mowbray to make a huge push for automatic promotion next season. He will be backed in the transfer market and the new look middlesbrough squad will have plenty of depth.
After the disastrous second half of the season showed, boro lacked leaders. middlesbrough had looked to bring in 2 players in the january 2013 transfer window but were let down by premiership clubs pulling the plug at the last minute. Shelvey and scott Sinclair were very close to arriving but didnt. With McManus, bailey, dyer, miller, mceachran, arca and potentially Emnes, Mcdonald of the wage bill. Mowbray is looking to bring in up to 10 new additions (albeit some on loan). With 2-3 big names on the wish list.
Middlesbrough will be very strong next season and can be aggressive in the transfer market.

Shelvey and Sinclair won't go to a championship club when there is interest in them from other premier league clubs.

I really hope so. Mogga can find bargains like friend so let's hope he can find some more. I was reading that boro have offered Marc antoine fortune a contract, what do you reckon? Also an Australian centre back is being monitored, his name is Michael thwaite

If all the above is true it could be the makings of an exciting season for us, I would like to see the likes of Main and Reach make starting roles with some experienced players around them, a couple of the wolves squad would be decent additions Doyle, O'Hara and Roger Johnson Plus any of the other names been banded about

I only wish I could believe this, even if this rumour was genuine and Gibson said it I wouldn't believe him anymore, he's far too sneaky.

I hope this is true, but. Steve Gibson has said in a guzzette interview, that boro still look to cut the wage bill next season (season coming up). So don't hope for huge names like scott sinclair and shelvy as they're prem players and will be on 50k a week each, so don't expect players like that. I can guess a couple of the big names and they will likely be david Wheater, Albert Adohma and Danny Graham (on loan). And I do expect we will get some funds out of the players departing in the summer and Gibson will likely invest some cash to get some players in. So come on gibbo get some players in. UTB!

Who could we bring in?

Will be a good team if we can get the 3 big players on the wish list to join and bring in some experienced players who have got promoted with other clubs who can help guide younger players

Yeah and well get promoted this season and play in Europe next season haha (loving all this wishful thinking) time to wake up fellas were skint! Got nothing! Free transfers, league 1 players and premier league academy players only! No Scott sinclairs, Danny Graham's, tavares! More like Luke James's, shammy ameobi's and ebanks blakes (if we're lucky enough for him to take a paycut! WAKEY WAKEY ;-)

BOROICE, I think you live in a dream world with your posts. Do you know how close we actually came to being in admin? If you can't back your 'rumours' up with just a little fact, don't make stuff up for the sake of it. We'll cut our cloth accordingly and sign rough diamond's from lower leagues. UTB!

How close did we come to admin, back it up with facts or are you just guessing

Steve Gibson puts approx £1.2m a month into the club to cover running costs. He uses the money from Bulkhaul to do this. Without this money we would be in admin-fact. This was shown when transparencie was declared on his end of season accounts. I hope this is factual enough for you BOROICE. Now stop with your fantasies.

Boro won't sign graham as he's just gone to sunderland however adomah and wheater would be great additions to next season. I just think we need belief

Sheffield Wednesday are set to sign sean st ledger and paddy mccourt watch this space

01 Jun 2013 09:13:08
Hughes is looking to raid QPR with a sensational double swoop for Remy and Hoilett offering crouch and cash. Hughes has signed Hoilett twice before and the 22 year old is keen to follow him to the potteries having had a miserable 12 months in the smoke. Remy does not fancy life in the championship and is believed to have a clause in his contract allowing him to leave following relegation. Crouch is keen to hook up with Harry again and Stoke's well reported 'new direction' will struggle to accommodate him but will allow for a more mobile striker with Remy considered as the perfect fit.

Remy turned us down before. It was Stoke who brought him into the UK in the first instance and he used it to gain a move within the french league. Think there could be better options

Would love it if this happened!

Remy would be FANTASTIC

Remy is going face a possible court case which if fond guilty could be jailed for a long time I can't see anyone will pay money for a player that is going be on a rape trail later this year

Would like Hoilett but not Remy he is too much trouble we do not need someone like him

QPR's Remy would rather go to the scrubs than stoke and the girls would be better looking. As for Hoilett he said he'll only move to a club that is clos to a Mcdonalds drive in

Former afc wimbledon trialists Ben McNamara is being lined up for a move to Torquay United, the goalkeeper is expected to play back up to number 1 goalkeeper Poke.

The worst footballer I have ever seen - AFC Wimbledon fan.

Torquay have already re-signed both keepers.

His performance v Reading pre season is the worst I've ever seen in a Dons shirt. Embarrassing is not the word.

Neville has emerged as a leading contender to replace the Uruguayan, who is still the subject of an investigation from his club after he was suspended earlier this month, and the Everton captain is expected to be included on a shortlist if Poyet's departure is confirmed.
Poyet and his assistants, Mauricio Taricco and Charlie Oatway, were all suspended by Brighton in May and a resolution is expected to be agreed next week, with the League Managers' Association also involved in the inquiry.
The 45-year-old was told to stay away from the club shortly after their play-off semi-final defeat to Crystal Palace but Brighton are already making contingency plans for life without him, and have targeted Neville as a possible replacement.
Neville will fly out to join the England Under-21s training camp on Sunday ahead of the European Championship in Israel this month, and has recently completed his Uefa A licence course at St George's Park.
He is believed to be keen on making a swift transition into management, though David Moyes could offer him a senior coaching position at Manchester United after the player's exit from Everton. Neville had also been approached by Stoke City for a coaching role, before the appointment of Mark Hughes, but the prospect of a managerial job could be difficult for him to turn down.
The 36-year-old has admitted he would welcome the opportunity to succeed Moyes as Everton manager and has been interviewed by chairman Bill Kenwright but Roberto Martnez is in pole position to take charge.
Brighton, however, could represent an attractive proposition. They finished fourth in the Championship last season under Poyet, although it seems certain his tenure will end acrimoniously within a fortnight.
Paul Barber, the chief executive, confirmed in a statement on Friday evening that the inquiry was still ongoing.
He said: "We are conducting these matters reasonably, in light of all the circumstances. These processes will take as long as is necessary.
"We are aware of some ill-informed and unfounded speculation appearing in various places. It is both unfair and unhelpful to everyone concerned. It should stop immediately to allow the internal processes to continue fairly. "
Poyet's spell at Brighton has also been tarnished by allegations that excrement was found in the Palace dressing room before the second leg, though Brighton have said there is no evidence the manager or his staff knew how it had got there.

I've heard that Gus Poyet put his house up for sale a week before the Crystal Palace matches.
Also before the Palace 2nd leg Poyet told the players that he won't be extending the players contracts in the summer because he doesn't know if he'd be Albion's manager next season.

Poyet lives in wraysbury. its easy access to travel to Brighton and has been his home for a while since his days at Chelsea and Spurs, so I doubt he put his house up for sale unless he plans on moving up north or closer to Brighton. with regards to the contract situation, I think that was the reasoning for his suspension due to him not following the proceedings of which he should under his own contract.

Poyet could go back to Spain though

Actually my friend lives near Poyet and has seen a sale sign outside his house.

He lives near London, the "fact" his house is up for sale, means nothing even if it is true. Look at a map. It's almost 50 miles away from Brighton

Actually he lives in Hove, which is right next to Brighton.

Phil Neville is following Moyes to Man United. Source- Independent through tv Sport.

Gue lives in Dwell Street, Hove. He doesn't live 50 miles away from Brighton.

Suarez to leave liverpool to Madrid or barca for 20-25 mil to play European football

Not enough.

Ive heard it will be karim benzema

01 Jun 2013 11:42:14
they only buying one leg.

More like 40m at least

He'll probably go for between 40 - 50 million in cash, or for one of Madrid's top forwards and a cash settlement. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Not a chance at that price, Liverpool paid around that for hum plus they will want at least another 15m on top of that

Hope he does go the horrible little man. But it would be nearer double that for an excellent footballer

30 mil and Benzema/Di Maria

Jake Hyde to Wycombe is a done deal.

Joel Grant from Wycombe to Ipswich.

Winfield to snub Stevenage and Pompey to sign a 2 year deal as captain.

Serious interest being shown in Ashley Grimes.

Wycombe will not be going in for Ashley Grimes as cannot afford to pay wages!

Heard that we are going in for Ben Dover instead.

Bradford City's Nahki Wells to Leeds United for £1.5 million.

Leeds fans at it again you can't even afford your own training ground never mind players like wells

Where on earth would leeds get that sort of money from.

Gosh! Another club wanting Wells. The list of clubs is growing - Leeds, Derby, Cardiff, Huddersfield, Leicester, Burnley, Blackburn etc - and all that interest for a player who has had only 1 full season in Div 2 albeit a productive one. Maybe Bradford are hoping for a bidding war

Leeds don't have that kind of money, sorry leeds fans not going to happen

01 Jun 2013 16:04:47
Wells isn`t c`ship standard.

Dont you just love all these fans posting on leeds rumours why aren't you on your own clubs page I know why you have nothing better to do than spout rubbish

And how do you know leeds haven't got any money that's right you don't no so if I was you I would pipe down

Leeds Being thé biggest club on offer to him, if They are interested, would certainly turn his head. people.

It will take a bid of £2.5m before Bradford will consider selling. So out of Leeds reach for a start. Interestingly Bradford are lining up Becchio from Norwich as a replacement if Someone does offer them more than Wells is worth.

Would not want a tin pot player like wells anyway one good season in that division does not make you a good striker

Think it will m8

Because becchio would definitely drop down to league one from the premier league

Leeds have more than enough to purchase nakhi wells for 1.5 mil so stop saying where skint

Bid of 1.8m from unknown club already been rejected, so it'd need a written transfer request for us to get him so cheap.

And those who say Leeds can't afford that then maybe your right, but our targets lie else where i. e. ex Reading players for example.

Plus on another note, Well's may only have had a good season an half at Bradford but I believe the hype to be correct, he really is that good, and he's far better than Championship standard, he's got pace, a good mind on the ball and can finish.

Love that top comment when Bradford had to use our training ground before the capital one cup final due to snow

Whether it's realistic or not, let's stop all this "leeds couldn't afford. 2 crap. we're ownded by multiple middle easter investors. no one really knows how much money we have, and there have been no indication of how much it could be. it could be free transfers, it could be 10's of millions, but none of us have a clue so don't comment on it

Reading keeper Alex McCarthy to have talks with clubs interested in him, but he is reportedly keen on fulham.

Liverpool set to loan Stewart downing to fulham for a season and Darren bent to join on a 3 year deal within the next 5 days.

Fulham also interested in derby wonder kid will Hughes and may bid 4 million

Its just it says in the mirror Newcastle are leading the chase to sign Will Hughes and have put a 10mill bid in!!

Fulhams going to have to cough up 4 times that!

If you bid £4m for Hughes derby will laugh at you

Not for 4mil for Hughes, try about 8mil+

4 million! That's the funniest thing I have heard for ages. Dream on

McCarthy can talk to all the clubs he likes. He's under contract for a couple more years so if the fees not met he ain't moving

Why would the future england no 1 be keen on fulham

Good luck getting a response other than laughter, bidding 4 mill on Hughes! Tell them to triple offer, and then think about coming back

You will need 8-10 million for Will Hughes.

Barcelona, United, City, Arsenal are interested.

And just this week it is reported that Newcastle are willing to pay the 10 million needed and loan him back for a season.

Not meaning to be blunt but 4 million is an embarrassment.

Players can't talk directly to clubs unless their parent club allows it. Fulham must approach Reading first before the can talk to Alex. Otherwise it's called tapping up and is against the rules.

Also doubt they have £15M to spend on a goalkeeper. {Ed029's Note - Reading have had NO offers for Alex McCarthy (yet).

4m for hughesy? Haha newcastle are the ones who will get young will for a fee of 10m an loaned back to derby till end of season

01 Jun 2013 11:57:03
Newcastle arsenal Manchester United are interest in Hughes for 10 million Fulham won't get him (sun)

"Reading keeper Alex McCarthy to have talks with clubs interested in him, but he is reportedly keen on fulham. "

you seem to be the only person who knows this, you do know he's currently in brazil and I doubt he rang you to tell you personally. a load of old tosh

Downing will probably stay at Liverpool.

4 mill for Hughes ha what a joker

Wonder kids cost more than £4 million. Oxlade Chamberlain / Zahar etc

Try £10 million+ because that's what Newcastle are planning to bid for him

I'm a derby fan and he's not even worth a mil never I'd snap 4 mil up

McCarthy will go to Liverpool to replace Pepe Reina. Steklenberg or whatever his name is will go to Fulham

Hmm, should Fulham sign a Dutch international goalkeeper with over 30 caps for 4-5m or the promising goalkeeper for a recently relegated team for over 10m. Your right McCarthy much better bet for Liverpool.

If McCarthy goes anywhere it will be high in the PREM, Liverpool are realistic as Rodgers liked him ever since he was managing Reading. He is likely to stay for a while maybe under higher wages?

Can people please stop giving Rodgers credit for the academy players at Reading who have come good. He had nothing to do with McCarthy or The Sig. Brian McDermott gave them both their first starts.

Rodgers is an average manager whose lucked himself into a job he's not good enough for.

Talks with Peter Leven have broken down due to wage demands and Argyle have enquired about the availbility Stuart Beavon although a deal looks unlikely because of wages.

Reported to be on big money at Oxford. Maybe one of the reasons he was released along with injuries and fitness? Though there was something local earlier in the week that he was back in talk with Oxford? But likely if the case on a much reduced salary and also his fitness issues to be sorted.
