Apparently the talk amongst Burnley supporters is that Charlie Austin to Huddersfield is a done deal for January...

Austin will definitely be in prem next year

Apparently we bid Ł2 million for him on deadline day, but the asking price was 4. He will definitely score goals at Championship level, therefore he is likely to be an expensive commodity.

Never gonna happen when austin leaves burnley it will be to a big club so that rules your lot out

Swindon fan, Charlie, is a great player and will do well wherever he goes, I cant see him going from t Burnley to Udders, think he will be off to Stoke or a lower prem team. He only left us a couple of years ago but seeing him the other day he has improved greatly... Easily worth 4 million...

As a burnley fan iv heard no talk of this, but we all expect him to go in a season or 2 but to a PL team

Unlikely Burnley will be promoted, so likely Austin will go to a Premier League club rather than a Championship club with less chance of being promoted than Burnley

As a town fan would love this, but not going to happen. Austin looks like he could have a season like Rhodes had last year, and his value is going up by the week.

Austin will be on 20+ goals before christmas at this rate so id expect at least 8 million for him as i personally think hes going to finish top scorer in the championship this year

Huddersfield expected Rhodes to go to a Prem team...

Hulse joins Charlton from QPR
Charlton have confirmed the capture of QPR striker Rob Hulse on a three-month loan deal.
The former Derby and Leeds frontman, who will stay at the Valley until January 1 under the terms of the deal, could make his Addicks debut when they host Watford in the npower Championship on Tuesday evening.
Charlton boss Chris Powell moved for Hulse as he looked to add valuable experience to his frontline after Yann Kermorgant was ruled out for around three months with an ankle injury.

DeLaRusso

And swp is going to sign in January

Baggies duo on loan
West Brom duo James Hurst and Saido Berahino have both agreed loan moves to the Championship.
Right-back Hurst, 20, has agreed a month-long youth loan with Birmingham while teenage forward Berahino has also agreed a youth loan and will move to Peterborough on a deal until January.
Highly-rated Hurst has enjoyed a number of spells on loan in the past 18 months, having spent time with Blackpool, Shrewsbury and Chesterfield.
He had made one league appearance for Albion, playing in the Premier League last year.
Burundi-born Berahino has also spent time on loan in the past year, having been with League One Brentford and League Two Northampton last term.

its their only chance to play because clarke wont
bring the youth through,he just likes to play the superstars

Hopefully nouha dicko signs after last nights goal utp

Nouha dicko is on a season long loan at blackpool

I know so he might sign at the end of it or make the loan permant in jan. no point having a good player if you dont own him

He wont come

Hazell is leaving

Hazell was told a month ago that is why he is not featuring, Bradshaw will go out on loan

Just to bring a few up to speed.
I have this on very good authority. Shrewsbury are trying to sign a striker. In fact two were interviewed pre season. Roland was prepared to pay more money in wages than he did for Grant Holt. It was the Wag s who said no. Something to do with how many night clubs did Shrewsbury have. Personally it goes to show how shallow Wags can be, when living off the back of there partners. Parisites come to mind. Bimbo's who were not with a footballer would probably be stacking shelves. Its time to get behind the club and time will tell

Should re-sign Elder! He's on form again

Portsmouth have signed Ákos Buzsáky on a one month deal. Should be in the team against Yeovil tomorrow.

Oh $h1t hes class i still think we will win

Only on the bench, he hasn't played a game since last season, another impact player for now

According to bbc sport he won't be match fit so will start on the bench which is good because he's amazing for a league 1 player
Why didn't Yeovil tr to sign him

Exactly he would be quality with ed and korey {Ed003's Note - I'm to old now,but thanks anyway}

He was slightly reluctant to join us as our money problems so he NEVER would of gone to Yeovil

He is playing for expenses only, travel, hotel etc

IL faced the local Oxford media and did not give much for the supporters to be cheerful about. Has expected and feared by the fans he confirmed that he is sticking with Wilder. He also confirmed that the reason Jim Rosenthal resigned from the board was due to an outstanding loan of £100,000 mad by JR to Oxford back in 2006. There is genuinely a feeling amongst some supporters that JR knows exactly what is going on behind the scenes and wanted to make sure he recieved his money back in full before it was too late, IL confirmed that after the resignation the loan was repaid because JR threatened legal action. There is now more concern than ever at what is going on behind the scenes.

SOURCE: Local Oxford media and Oxford Forums.

My fears exactly, I laughed off a lot if rumours that appeared on here before the star of this season, however it is looking more and more likely that there are some serious issues going on behind the scenes. It does appear that JR a lifelong Oxford supporter has suddenly jumped ship at a time when more and more rumours are starting to appear, as a board member JR would likely know exactly what's going on....it's about time someone told us supporters. Come on JR, we were shocked by you walking away, we have heard IL's version, please tell the people that like you have Oxford at heart what is happening.

Administration is a real possibility

God I hope not!! But things are looking really strange. It does seem that a few of the people posting on here before the season start wee getting things right. I wish someone like JR would come out and tell everyone what is going on. And what the hell happens if IL walks away as well, he will want to recoup as much as possible and our club will be finished, is this a possibility? He certainly didn't seem to be a man in control in his interview.

Oh dear. The conspiracy theory nutters are out in force again. Lenaghan make a perfectly clear statement of events and off they go twisting it to suit their own weird agenda.

This will make you smile :) on Swindons rumours they are saying they have Ł50million to spend and will win champs league in 5 years. Nothing like getting carried away

bristol rovers board apparently dissapointed with start to season and may well turn their attentions to oldhams paul dickov

Well you obviously made this up :L nick higgs came out saturday and said he is happy for mcghee to see out his contract and if he wants to sign another one he is more than welcome to

Go for it and take Taggart as well please, then we won't have to pay compensation

Yeah how many times have we heard that suprised he didnt get the dreaded vote of confidence

Bristol Rovers are struggling to cover up a personality clash between their chairman and manager. The form book tells you which one will be moving on. {Ed003's Note - Who's going to be the new chairman then ;) }

Kevin Spencer set to take over as Rovers Chairman next week.

Considering the experience of Macghee he hasnt really made a difference at all with any of his signings or his ability to transform the team into a points winning outfit. Cant see the management offloading him soon but equally cant see him being in job to start next season.

Afc Bournemouth are signing Swindon towns striker Jordan pavett on a 3 month contract after he impressed in a match against winbourne town

A 3 month contract? Behave will you, how can we sign someone out of the window from another club and why would it only be 3 months and last of all but more importantly who the hell is he???

If you are signing him he can't be attached to any club

Yeah, for the development squad if anything.

Pavett was a samsung win a pro contract winner a few seasons ago but never really made the grade as he is rubbish & was released so i doubt that bournemouth will be signing him from us.

Pavett won the Samsung win a contract competition and has played precisely zero games for Swindon. I think he's currently at Heybridge Swifts on load where he doesnt seem to be able to get into the first team. I wouldn't get too excited.

Heard over weekend,Saints are close
to signing a free agent left back.
Supposed to be fairly pacey,foreign
player, hope this is true as God we
need to stop all these goals against.
Said,this bloke has good experience,
didn't say any names though so
maybe it's all wishful thinking.
Whatever,let's hope Nigel gets it
sorted soon.

Norwich City are set to sign a pre contract agreement with Norwegian side Molde to bring their Ivorian striker Davy Claude Angan to the club in the January transfer window at a fee believed to be already agreed upon.

Not another marquee signing!

Bring in Harry rednapp before its to late !!!!

Ryan Bennet or Ayala would be a massive improvement on Turner. Apparently Ayala has been superb for Forest.Perhaps we should get him back?

NO NO Not harry rednapp please someonr like poyet would be alot better, but lets see how houghton can pull it around first ,

COLIN hell no never.

There was a rumour that we would sign Angan in the summer transfer window which sadly did not materialise. By January I fear it may already be too late.

rob hulse coming on loan to leeds utd very soon

Thought he'd gone to Charlton?

Sorry mate signed on loan for Charlton

Even if this was true it's doubtful as Leeds are in takeover talks so signings are unlikely
