I am well aware that this write up will get no more or less attention than any others but just from experience can I clear up a few things regarding the big four.

Alex Ferguson has never been shy about proclaiming his interest in a player. It works because he's sitting on top of the most successful team in recent history and most players in the world would love to play for a team that breeds success and this unsettles them at their current club, which combined with their spending power i'm sure when Fergie knows what player he wants, the rest of the world will. The only tip is that right back is the only position which could do with more depth so Philip Lahm might well be a good shout. As for Wes Brown as long as he does not get greedy and settles for what he's worth in wages he will stay, if not it will be off to Sunderland.

With Liverpool consider where in the team they are weakest. They need an attacking right sided player and a new right back. The possibility of a part exchange deal of Pennant + cash for Bentley sounds plausible and Rafinha seems to be an ideal purchase. I hope for Crouch's career's sake he leaves this Summer in which case another forward is a possible purchase however Rafa's new found love for promotion from the youth ranks will start to take effect over the Summer so do not expect many big purchases. As for the Henry rumours, IF, and that is a big if, Henry came back to England to ply his trade and did not return to Arsenal, Liverpool is a club he has openly stated his admiration for so in theory it could be the shock of the Summer.

Arsenal, as Wenger has stated, will purchase one experienced player, but did not exclude buying more youth talent. Links with David Villa are completely unfounded but that is not to say it will not happen considering the nature of Da Silva's injury and the possibility that he will only be a shadow of the player he was and his similarity in attributes to Villa. The team is also in need of at least one naturally wide player cue Ben Arfa, but buying him from Lyon will be near to impossible with both the player and president unwilling for him to depart. The departure list will obviously contain Lehmann, probably Gilberto and Senderos, and do not be surprised to see Hleb on that list either. Wenger is clearly not getting the best out of him and interest from Inter may not be ignored. Wishful thinking is the main thing linking Micah Richards to North London, though a buy–out Clause in his contract if City do not make it to Europe may give those thoughts a bit more credibility and I would not write off the arrival of a player like Vincent Kompay who has disappeared off the radar for a couple of years but oozes class, a bit like the arrival of Rosicky. And just for the record the purchase of a central playmaker will not happen, next season expect Merida and Denilsen to step up when Fabregas tires and as for who will take Lehmann's place I believe they say, that is in the hands of the gods though quite possibly the experienced player Wenger was talking about.

As for Chelsea, expect a Summer clear out. It is quite clear that the future of that football club depend solely on whether Avram Grant stays or not. If he does expect Frank Lampard to leave for Spain and a few more of the peripheral players like Cudicini, Shevchenko and Ben Haim will follow. I think the Ronaldinho transfer is more than likely seeing as Chelsea is the only club that are rumoured to be interested that will put up with his diva–like attitude and the ridiculous wages they will waft in front of him. As for Kaka, he will not leave Milan. It will only happen after several years of underachievement. He is their best player and will be joined by a host of other quality players in the Summer and also already has the company of Pato and his brother already at Milan. The guy already has it made and is not interested in money.

The rumours around the rest of the Premier League, whoever manages to persuade Diego to leave Werder Brehman will have pulled off the transfer of the Summer with Manchester City leading the race as I understand.

I hope that was a good read if nothing else.

Just a few possible transfer's target's Mark Hughes is looking at for Blackburn Rovers.

Ryan salmon – no idea who he is all I know is he's a forward playing in the unibond league?

tom Soares – midfield playmaker at crystal Palace

Michael bradley – attacking midfielder at heerenveen

tom huddlestone – midfielder at Tottenham

esteban granero – midfielder playmaker at getafe (loan from Real Madrid)

ugur boral – midfield playmaker at fenerbache

nathan burns – forward at adelaide United

mark milligan – fullback/centre half sydney fc

anthony annan – midfielder at stabaek

gokhan zan – tough centre half at besiktas

kasper schmeicel – keeper at Manchester City

drew moor – centre half at FC dallas

Michael kightley – winger at Wolves

frazier campbell – forward at Hull City (loan from Man United)

rudy matter – fullback/centre half at valenciennes

tel ben–haim – centre half at Chelsea

Steven Davis – attacking midfielder at Rangers (loan from Fulham)

not all of these will happen there just possible and a lot more feasoble then some rumours I have read on hear about the so called big team transfer targets. i.e Newcastle are not a big team.

anyone no of any other Blackburn targets?

No matter what Kenyon or Buck say about Grants future not in doubt, he will be replaced in the Summer, due to pressure from the fans and not having won a trophy (they are not going to win the Champs League, only the Chumps league). He will be replaced by either Laudrup, Rjkkard or Manuel Pellegrini. Whoever the manager is, he will be given a £100 miliion pound warchest, so all the talk from the boardroom in Chelsea that spending will go down, is not true. Lampard, Drogba, Carvalho, Shaun Wright–Phillips and others will go.

Arsenal look set to battle it out with FC Barcelona for Ben Arfa, and Wenger will also look to bring in Menez, Gourcruff and Modric (however Liverpool are currnely ahead in the que). Gilberto, Hoyte, Bendnter and Senderos will be ofloaded. And also a Keeper, maybe Gomes or Green will be brought in.

Man United will look to move Fletcher and Scholes, and replace them with Veluso (Keegan has not got a chance in getting him) and Moutinho, aswell as a forward, who can play with his back to goal, like Berbatov.

Liverpool on the other hand will move out Alonso to either Real or Barcelona, bring in Modric and maybe M. Johnson. Rafa will also tie up the Rafinha deal, along with a Left–back to replace Riise, maybe A. Lopez of A. Madrid. Crouch and Vorinin will be shown the door, and replaced by either K. Jones, Amauri or Villa depending on the amount of funds available. The final piece of the jigsaw will be a right–winger, first choice is Bentley (Pennant used as a makeweight), due to him being a proven Premiership player, if not then Mancini, Simao or Lennon.

Cheers, Rob

Tottenham will completely revamp their midfield in the Summer getting rid of the dead wood.

Targets are:

Tiago (Juve) 6–7 mil

Modric (Zagreb) 12–14 mil

Albelda (Valencia) free

Bentley (Blackburn) 12 mil

Krankjer (Pourtsmouth) possible swap deal with either kaboul or chimbonda

Out will be:

Jenas

Zokora

Tainio

Lennon

Real rumours: Kaka is not moving to the Premier League. He has said that Sheva is one of the best players he has ever seen, and seeing him falter in the Premier League has put him off a move. Ronaldinho is going to AC and Sheva probably will too. Things at Stamford Bridge depend on Roman's Stalinist whim: if he chucks Avram, he will get in Klinsman, but Roman does not do long term thinking– if Avram is leaving, it will not be based on a decision made now.

Ramos is looking to make his Mark on the team: he has the back four he wants (when Bale and King are fit), so expect Pyo and Chimbonda to be sold to the highest bidders. He will make a bid for Cudiccini, with Robinson moving to Villa. Lennon, Boateng and Zokora are probably off too. Bent is probably moving, much of this depends on whether Berbatov stays or goes– this is not inside news, but common sense. Ramos will move for Jesus Navas, a player known for his homesickness (which has hindered a move elsewhere). Ramos' being there will help with this.

Liverpool have agreed an amazing deal to sign forward Karim Benzema from Lyon. The deal involves the loan deals of both Damien Plessis and Emiliano Insua for one year. I do not yet know the exact fee involved but believe it to be in the region of £30 million Euros + both players.

  Rangers to sign

Wes Brown

Thurman

Expect to se4e Mr Wenger swoop for Nasri, LeScott/Richards, D. Villa and Hart that will be all for the next two seasons unless there is a real bargin or emergency. Lehmann, Senderos and Eboue will head for the exit

  Real Madrid In:

Karim Benzema from Lyon

JoLeon LeScott from Everton

Confirmed news from my hometown.

1) If Fulham go down, STEVE TILSON of Southend United will top of the list of replacements. However The Shrimpers will not let him go cheaply.

Al–Fayed does not want another "Big–Name Under–Achiever" at the club.

2) Juande Ramos will give the captain's armband to J. WOODGATE, paving the way for Ledley King to follow Sol Campbels footsteps to Arsenal.

3) Benitez and Wegner will be looking at buying more English players in preperation for a possible FIFA ruling limiting the number of foreign players allowed to be fielded.

4) KAKA has agreed to join Chelsea, but the transfer is being stalled over agreement of the fee.

5) Curbishley has been given one more season to get WEST HAM into Europe. Slaven Bilic will replace him if he goes.

Tal Ben Haim and Steve Sidwell will complete a double move to Newcastle in a Chelsea clearout.

Also leaving are likely to be Alex, Pizzaro, Shevchenko and Boulharouz (permanently).

I hear from the source that told me this that PSV are interested in re–signing Alex with Pizzaro possible being tracked by Boca. Intrested in Shevchenko are AC Milan and Inter while Boulharouz is being tracked by a number of Spanish clubs on a permanent deal as he is on loan to Sevilla at the moment.

No incoming targets were confirmed from this source.

Grant looks set to be given time. Big Money available 4 Summer extravagansa.

Out: Drogba Milan Part Exchange, Pizzaro, Sidwell, Shaun Wright–Phillips, Ben Haim, Ballack, Malouda.

Ins: Kaka (Drogba+ £25 million), Sulejmani (Dutch League), Van der Vaart, Possibilty of Gareth Barry, Daniel Alves or Miguel, Striker Villa/Amauri/Palacios. Shevshenko will stay 4 one more year. Unless needed as part of Kaka deal.

Despite the recent Power Struggle at Liverpool Rafa will be given 60 million to spend in the Summer his transfer targets are:

Rafinha (likely)

Bentley (Deal Agreed)

Villa (Unlikely)

Modric (Possible)

The two south American youngsters Rafa has said he has signed are

Pablo Piatti

Sergio Aguero

Thanks for Reading = )

In my capacity of programme writer we get to talk to professional people footballers, agents, mamagers etc. I was surprised at what information was forth coming

Arsenal will swap Hoyte and Bentner for JoLeon LeScott Given of Newcastle

Man United will sign Willy Sagnol and Casillas from Real they also hope to get Berbatov

Chelsea will bid for Kaka but with Ac getting in the Champions League they will be told no this will drive them to buy Villa, Palacio and Ronaldinho

Other teams to buy big are Tottenham who will buy second level players, Newcastle who will spend big but will buy the Hammers' centre forward, they will also try for Riise and Ireland with limited sucess Liverpool will buy big but no one nows who Benitez is after or what positions he is after as he keeps leaking players he has no intention of signing Barry being a prime example more information to follow

  Arsenal FC Transfers –

In –

H Gomes (PSV Eindoven) – £6 mill

L Thuram (FC Barcelona) – £2 mill

Y Toure (FC Barcelona) – £6 mill

C Amuari (Palermo) – £19 mill

J Lehmann (Brussia Dortmand) – £1 mill

To the persons who keep touting Felipe Baloy as an Arsenal prospect: it is not going to happen. I am proud of Baloy as a Central American for being one of the best Panamanians ever, and it is true that Newcastle has looked at him. But truthfully, especially at his age, he is not an Arsenal calibre player. He can probably play in the EPL and be successful, but only with a smaller club. Even NUfc is probably too big for him. The only domestically–based Concacaf defenders who have the technical and fundamental ability to play for a top–flite EPL club (Arsenal, Man United, Liverpool) are Patricio Araujo (MEX) of Chivas and Michael Parkhurst (USA) of New England Revolution. Full stop. The rest just are not good enough.
