LCFC RUMOURS.
Mandaric did meet Mike Newell today (Monday) in London, before flying back to Belgrade. Obviously what was discussed is open to debate. But according to my source the word coming out of the Walkers is that Newell is very much in Mandaric's plans and could even be the new manager before their next game at Stoke on 31st March.
Arsenal will not be moving for Samuel Eto'o in the summer. Gunners fans know that Arsene Wenger doesn't like to buy established players, which annoys the hell out of me, and prefers to move for up and coming youngsters or promising players who haven't yet reached their potential at their current clubs. I hear that Wenger is planning a raid for CSKA Moscow's Brazilian attacking midfielder Daniel Carvalho and would be able to get his man for £5. 2m. However, Carvalho could have to be farmed out on loan either to an Arsenal feeder club or a European club for a period of Time in order for him to gain European citizenship as he would cause work permit problems.
Walter Smith has already shown his ability to organise the Rangers team and he will now set about creating a team who not only organised, but also an attack minded team who can win the league.
Summer Signings will be Alexander (Preston), Andy Webester (Wigan) Scott Brown (Hibs) and Steven Naismith (Killmarnock)&Roy Caroll (West Ham) Smith has also agreed deals to sign Gow&Broadfoot as announced in the press.
Rangers will clear the decks by selling, Klos (Free), Papac (nominal)&Sionko (nominal) Prso may be forced to retire if not he will probably move on. - Sebo, Hendami, Novo&Rae have all impressed Watty and will be retained to add depth to the squad.

The rumour that Mourinho is leaving is not true so that settles that arguement. Mourinho will stay but there will be a large number of players leaving Chelsea and more coming in. The problem in defense will be solved, with boulharouz and ferria leaving. To replace them there will be three defenders coming in. Johnson will return from a impressive loan spell, while miguel will be signed from Valencia for 8 million these two will compete for the right back slot. Alex will finally join Chelsea from his extensive loan spell and challenge Carvalho for the place alongside terry. Kalou will go on loan to Newcastle to gain more expierance, Darren Bent will be signed for 15 million to compete with Shevchenko to play alongside Drogba. Robben will sign for Barcelona while Ballack will go to Real Madrid after an unconsistent season. Quarsema will sign from Porto after his impressive performance against Chelsea for 15-20 million, while Deco will link up with his old boss, but only if Chelsea match Barcelonas asking price of 20 million. Lampard and Terry will sign new contracts in the summer after pledging themselves for the rest of their career.

According to my source (works at the training ground) Newell to be new manager during the summer. Currently being monitored are Kevin Nicholls, Sol Davis, JL Samuel, Lee Hendrie, Dejan Stefanovic, Svetoslav Todorov, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, David Thompson, Danny Murphy, Izale McLeod, Jason Roberts and Lee Camp.
Im also led to believe there will be more than a few leaving the Walkers. Johansson and Tiatto will leave on free's. According to my source Henderson is still being tracked by Villa, Kisnorbo impressed Coleman of Fulham earlier in the season and a summer move is deffo on and Hume has been watched several Times somewhat surprisingly by a Man City scout. Alot of the rest of the squad will be surplass to requirements in the summer including Douglas, Kenton, McCarthy, Hughes, Hammond and the four loanees.

Everton are set to sign David Nugent in the summer for £6 million with James Beattie set for Middlesbrough. This will leave Moyes with Johnson, Nugent, Anichebe and Vaughan as his 4 strikers with James McFadden set to leave for Scotland. Everton will sign a striker and a midfielder in the summer here are the options:
Keane or Defoe 4m with Beattie going the other way as Tottenham are ready to sign him as he has been a flop at Everton, Tottenham already amde a move for him in January but got rejected.
Nugent if Preston don't go up he has made it clear he only wants to play for one club, Everton and Everton could get him for round 6m
Bent - 7-8m if Charlton go down a couple of clubs will be after him and Everton are on of those
Smith 6m Everton are Keane on him.
Middfielder
Fernandes looking good so far if he continues to do so and Benfica agree a fee he could be at Everton next summer on a permament move for around 6-7m
Barton he's an Everton fan Everton are Keane on him and have already made a move for him and if Everton get euro football this season he could be on his way as he fits right into the team and could sign for 6m

Moyes has been rumours with around 20mil to spend and with Beattie set to leave (round 4mil) and van der mayde ( 2. 5) and wright (0. 5) and possibly carsley (1. 5) that gives Moyes a possible 8. 5 extra to spend and with the possibility of euro football and a big new stadium the future looks bright so big names like these could be on there way in the summer.

Don't be fooled by the reports on the Sky Sports website suggesting that Craig Gordon will join Arsenal in the summer. Arsene Wenger has already ruled out signing a striker, and it won't be long before he rules out signing a new keeper. Jens Lehmann will accept a one year extension at the Emirates, with Manuel Almunia and Mart Poom continuing as back up. The Gunners also have Vito Mannone in reserve and he is expected to be the long term keeper for Arsenal, so don't anticipate a new shot stopper in the red half of north London next season.
Arsenal Transfers
Asene Wenger has already said that he will only sign maybe one or two super signings. The one sure signing is a winger in the likes of Ribery or Babel. Depending on the asking price for Ribery, Wenger might go for Babel. The other signing will only take place if Lehmann decides to leave. If Lehmann leaves, Wenger will attempt to buy Carson, Akinfeev, or Gordon. Arsenal will not sign another striker because Wenger feels that Bedtner returning from laon is a quality striker. Players that will depart Emirates this summer is Freddie Ljunberg and Jens Lehmann.
Christophe Metzelder has met with the Real Madrid medical chief Alfonso del Corral and will join on a free in the summer from Dortmund. Capello will be sacked and be replaced by, most likely Bernd Schuster who is currently at Getafe, however there is still the possibillity of Jose Mourinho. Madrid will bring in a mix of quality youth from europe and south America along with proven players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, possibly Frank Lampard who can leave for £8million due to a UEFA rule. They'll look to bring in some defenders as first choice and back-up such as Andrea Barzagali and Cristian Zaccardo who are both at Palermo.
Luca Toni will be joining Inter with the possibillity of a swap deal involving Adriano. Kaka will try to persuade Ronaldinho to join him at Milan along with Ronaldo which would make Milan a bigger force once again with the samba attacking trio.
Aston Villa will look to bring in Artur Boruc from Celtic for around £4. 5mill along with a centre back and a midfielder in the Makelele role along with a few others, possibly a right back if Bardsley goes back to Man U.

I keep hearing about all these fantastic players coming to Anfield, like David Villa, Samuel Eto'o, Thierry Henry. But don't expect any of them. As you should know The new owners George gillet&Tom Hicks have reviewed plans about the new stadium Stanley Park&making it even bigger to a 75000 seater stadium instead of a 61000. So only expect Klaas Jan Huntelaar for around £12Million&the same for Daniel Alves. Scott Carson to come back to Anfield and challenge Jose Manuel Pepe Reina for no. 1, many youngsters to come in like Dos Santos From Barcelona, Esteban Granero of Real Madrid, Gareth Bale of Southampton (will let him stay on loan for a season&will let Danny Guthrie Stay next season aswell. ) Sherman Cardenas and two or three youngsters from south America.

Plymouth rumours:

He has been on top form this season scoring several goals for a mediocre team (and I'm a supporter saying that!) and he has attracted the interest of several top managers.
Also, Nakamura of Celtic has been bandied around the club with a fee of £3.5m.
