Liverpool would be sold at the end of the Preimer League season, it all depends whether Liverpool would be playing CL for next week. If not expect the price to be reduced. Haven't said that it would be sold. Expect Rafa to sell dead woods such as Babel, Riera , Yossi, Sketal. The following are the possible signing for next season:
1.Milan Jovanovic (Free).
2.Simon Kjaer (£12 million).
3.Javi Martinez. (£10 million).
4.Joe Cole (Free).
5.Georginio Wijnaldum.

Paul Lambert will not leave Norwich for Celtic. The Scottish league is a joke and Celtic and Rangers are ridiculous clubs that are going nowhere fast. Lambert will spend another year with Norwich before going to ANY premier league club as the money and security are much greater.

Norwich will need to sign a new keeper as Forster will be backup at Newcastle. Expect a clearout of Cureton to anybody, anywhere. Whiggins to Bournemouth. Gill back to Exeter. Elliot return on loan. Berthel Askou back to Europe. Rose will be signed as I imagine will a few more faces as the new season gets nearer.

21 Apr 2010 22:14:34
Some news from scotland. Smith, mccoist and mcdowell will be staying and signing new contracts. On the player front – leaving mcgregor, bougie, boyd, smith, lafferty and possibly thompson. What a club, the most successful in europe! I can c the green scum having another throphy less season next year. . 10 in a row here we come! RFC4LIFE. .wapt!

Manchester City CEO Alistair Mackintosh today lodged an enquiry to LFC into the availability of Rafa Benitez as they see him as the ideal manager to lead them to glory. Some insiders at City have informed me of this astonishing news. It is also believed that another Premier Leauge team believed to be Chelsea have been in contact with Liverpool for over 2 weeks about the availability of Rafa benitez, Rafa Benitez remains un–interested in any offers to manage another team and wants to continue with Liverpool as he knows they are not to far away from being a great team and wininng trophy's again.

21 Apr 2010 22:39:30
Rangers & Hearts to offer Billy Mehmet ( St Mirren ) a contract within the next week.

21 Apr 2010 22:40:09
Liverpool will make the promised four or five big signings. It is indisputable. Otherwise gerrard, torres, reina and mascherano would not be coming out with these statements committing their future to the club. Arriving at Anfield will be:
– Joe Cole (Chelsea) free
top calibre left side player we have been missing and out of favour with ancelotti
– Arda Turan (Galatasary) 5m + Babel
great young talent and can play on either wing
– Aleksandar Kolarov (Lazio) 15m
this stupendous Serb would be the answer to problems at lb
– Gonzalo Higuan/Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) 30/25m
Both strikers are world class. Real will let one leave and we have first option to sign. probably higuan as he and ronaldo have been feuding all year. But either would be great up front with torres and provide the firepower when our injury prone el niño is unavailable.

If any funds are left expect a cb or cm with kjaer or ireland the targets. Give me your thoughts.

21 Apr 2010 20:33:00
– Michael Ballack could be set to move to Inter Milan in the summer after knowing now that his contract discussions will have to wait until the end of the season.

– Arsenal will not pursue a bid for Joe Hart, Wenger likes him but knows Man City will ask for around £8m to £10m. Arsenal will look towards Guillermo Ochoa of Club America and Diego Alves of Almeria, among others.

– Dimitar Berbatov will stay at Man Utd next season as, perhaps surprisingly, SAF doesn't want to sell him. Utd may attempt to bid for Hugo Lloris of Lyon but a deal is unlikely.

– Jerome Boateng will be unveiled as a Man City player at the end of the season. He has signed for £11.2m

To this person:

"Why is it full of arsenal rumours"

I think its because this summer is going to be exciting since wengers spilled the beans on opening the purse and wait and watch, that purse has a lot of cash.

Therefore, deluded footy fans write up whatever they want for the arsenal 'rumours', even though teams like everton are soooooo rubbish, rodwell, pienaar and fellaini ALL want to come to arsenal because they know moyes is the WORST MANAGER IN THE PREMIERSHIP!

21 Apr 2010 18:25:39
After speaking to Liverpool's wonderkid Raheem Sterling, he says that Neil Warnock is trying to sign him on loan at QPR for next season. He also says that Mikel San Jose will make his loan permanent at Athletic Bilbao for 3m Euros. Lastly, Raheem has also said that Rafa is considering allowing Kristijan Nemeth's loan at AEK Athens permanent as well for around 3–4m Euros as he believes the cash will be useful for signing new players and the likes of Nathan Eccleston, Dani Pacheco and Lauri Dalle Valle can fill his void next season.

21 Apr 2010 18:26:14
Don't expect major changes on the winger role at Man Udt, unfortunately David Silva won't be joining as Fergie is happy with the development of Tom Cleverley at Watford a right footed winger who can play either side. He will promote him and keep the others he still has, Nani, Park, Giggs, Valencia all vying for a slot with Rooney/Fletcher/Anderson/Hargreaves/Rafael/Fabio also able to cover the wingers role if needed. The only way we'll see a big name arrive is if Giggs announces a shock retirement, shock in the way that he has peformed admirably again this season and could do it for another year.

21 Apr 2010 18:35:12
Liverpool are looking favourites to sign cahill, Georginio Wijnaldum they are also intressted in James McCarthy, Guti, Shaun wright–phillips ( fed up at city ) Joe cole!, Mata, Gonzalo Higuain, Taye Taiwo ( or different quailty left back)DIDA and maybe shawcross except liverpool to make some big signings!
Outs :
Aurellio
Reira
Cavalieri
Benayoun
Skrtel
and loan some youngsters out
And more if aqualiani is sold expect cheeky bid for milner and liverpool also after pionierr but doubt everton will sell to us!

Ha ha at the Birmingham "big spending" rumour.

It's not money that gets you world class players unless your name is Carlos Tevez or Gareth Barry.. it's trophies. Birmingham have absolutely nothing in recent memory so why would the likes of Ben Arfa & Gago join Birmingham City?

Arsenal looking at Andre Pierre Gignac as a possible summer target.

LFC targets are Silva & Villa, if LFC is sold and Rafa gets his £60m he's demanding I wouldn't be surprised if one day in the summer on sky sports news it pops up on the breaking news that Villa & Silva have agreed terms to join LFC.

City targets are Mario Ballotelli and Fernando Torres but they won't get Torres.

United looking at Yoann Gourcuff as the only major signing, SAF has promised reserves more first team football next season.

21 Apr 2010 18:10:50
Bids have already been made for Steven Fletcher of Burnley, Burnley will sell if a price of over £5m is meet, Fletcher himself is keen on staying at Burnley.

Gordon Smiths resigined due to the fact that the new scotland manager Levein has asked the sfa if he can talk to celtic over the vacant managers post. Smith was left with no other option than quit as this was another appoinment that he made and the guy wants out the job to go and talk to celtic. Levien was not in the running for the celtic job last time as the united chairman had passed away and he felt it would have been bad form to move to celtic. He moved to the scotland job on the back of media pressure as he is the best up and coming manager in the country. The job is not what he thought it would be with the long periods of inactivity not suited to such a young manager with plenty to offer. Expect this to hit the papers over the weekend as the sunday mail are sitting on the story at present.

To the guy who said:
You want some birmingham city rumours? TRUST ME THESE WILL BE DONE:

Schalke's Kevin Kuranyi and Blackburn's out of favour striker Benni McCarthy.

THATS ALL SO STOP DREAMING YOU BIRMINGHAM LOSERS!

Benni McCarthy signed for West Ham in January you idiot.

Arsenal Rumours:
Ins:
Neaur/Hart
Richards/Sakho/Cahill/Metzelder(free)
Melo/L.Diarra(return)/Senna
Hazard
Chamahk/Benzema?

Outs:
Silvestre/Senderos/Merida for free
Almunia or Fabianski
Maybe Arshavin/Denilson/eduardo
Loans: Wilshere/Vela

21 Apr 2010 17:34:52
I don't have much news on new signings at the Reebok; unfortunately most of the rumours are surrounding players leaving Bolton. Vladmir Weiss is unhappy at Bolton because of his fringe role and is destined to return back to Man city, which is a shame, but I guess he is competing with Lee Chong–yong. Jack Wilshere has been impressive and looks set to extend his loan.
Other rumours surround Gary Cahill, with Liverpool and Arsenal showing the most interest. Hopefully we can keep hold of him, but if he does happen to leave, I think it would be to Liverpool for around £14m. And then there is that Lee Chong–yong, what a punt that was! You gotta give it to Megson, what a signing. But he is being strongly linked to Liverpool, but I doubt the Blue Dragon is ready to leave.
I think Coyle is still in need of some real firepower in the squad as we are lacking goals. Klasnic is good and I'd like to see him sign a permanent deal but he isn't starting ahead of Elmander, who again isn't an out and out striker. Vaz Te is never fit, Riga is being linked with Leicester and I don't know what has happened to Harsanyi. Any rumours on interest in strikers?

21 Apr 2010 17:43:27
Anybody know/heard any SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY rumours/truths??
Keep reading on here about B.LAWS/BURNLEYS interest in our GK LEE GRANT but to be honest i can only see this deal happening if BURNLEY relegated and fee would have to be around the £1.5 m mark.
I could see MARCUS TUDGUY going if a decent bid comes in for him..truth is he won't want to play league 1 football god forbid we do end up relegated..

Your a little behind your time Benni McCarthy plays for West Ham now, moved in january, guess you don't watch football and just play football manager on the old database lol.

Anyway expect Birmingham to sign Alan Hutton and Steven Fletcher as two top Scots who can help get the club to new heights. Expect failed bids for Raul and Guti but expect Ruben Baraja to make the move.

Trust me IN THE KNOW x

Hello english football fans!
This is my insight on english football, I will not say any names or sources:

Man Utd
Sir Alex Ferguson is a great manager, but has made stranges choices in the last few years, like Berbatov, Anderson and Valência. I would expect more. Forget Villa and Silva, United don't have money for them. Additionally, Real Madrid is after them, not even City's money will made them change their minds.
I would expect some young players, in the line as Wenger does.

Arsenal
Expect Wenger to keep the same kind of outside game. Buy young and prepare for the future. Arsenal is, probably, the best passing game team in England and if they keep Fábregas I would expect them to challenge the first place next year.

Chelsea
I think this is the last big year for Chelsea. Almost all the big players are in the thirties and the strength is running out. Players like Lampard, Drogba, Anelka, Terry, Carvalho, Malouda, Etc, are not capable of maintaining a full season at the same pace as 3 or 4 years ago. Of course the owner has money, but they didn't buy quality players since Essien and that's not good enough.

Liverpool
They have one of the best managers in the game. The problem is the resources. Is impossible to Gerrard and Torres be always satisfied if the players they could buy don't take them to the next level.

Man City
The only club in the world that can buy any player or players. But considering that they aren't one of the big four in England, it's going to be hard to land big names. Mancini is not right for them, to defensive. Likes "catenaccio" to much! With City's resources both Hughes and Mancini should made better!

Isolated Rumours, mainly portuguese related since I've seen some of you think this is "flee market":

Di Maria: 35M (Release Clause)
Cardozo: 50M (Release Clause) – may be30M sold
D.Luiz: 43M (Release Clause)
Ramires: 26M (Release Clause)

This will be four of the most wanted players in Europe. Their club are about to sign new sponsor deals and tv rights that will make Benfica one of the biggest in Europe so they don't need to sell cheap. Since both items are only 20% of the total incomes (60M a year). Benfica board will settle for 45M for tv rights and 20M for general sponsorship..So imagine, this year we have done good in Europe..

21 Apr 2010 16:44:56
After selling Cavalieri, Aurelio, San Jose, Degen, Riera, Babel and El Zhar, Benitez will have around £45mil to spend.

Kolarov is a definite purchase for around £14mil.
Benitez also wants Belletti and Jovanovic on frees.

Preferably, he then wants Mata (17mil) and Hazard (14mil) However this can only happen if Arsenal or Madrid do not bid for Hazard. If they do, Benitez will go for Stevan Jovetic.

He could also beef up the squad by signing Guti on a free.

After it was revealed today that Portsmouth owe close to £120m, a 25 year deal towards getting Pompey back in the financial black is to be announced.

Pompey will have to repay £6m every year until 2020, plus Fratton Park and the club's training facilities will be sold to the Council for 'a nominal fee'. This will equal the club repaying most of the debt by 2020.

Any parachute or play–off money will not go to the club, as it has to pay off their debts. Pompey will have to rely on loans, free transfers and youth players next season but the wages will be strictly monitored – infact Pompey next season will be paying less p/w in wages than Scthorpe United who currently have the lowest wage bill in the Championship.

There will be 15 players coming in during the summer, including Dimi Konstantopulous and Bartosz Bialkowski as new goalkeepers.

It makes me laugh the people that honestly believe players like Torres will jump to Man City or that Arsenal have a chance of signing Vidic! The only deals not yet announced that Im sure will happen is Hazard going to Arsenal but the fee is bound to be £15mill plus!!

Im a Newcastle fan and players I see us getting is Albin and Kurányi (free) O'Hara, KP Boateng, Hall, Van Aldholt (season loan) and maybe a defender. Out will be Butt, Taylor (although hate to see him go), Pancrate and a few loans (Ranger, Vukic etc)

21 Apr 2010 13:45:54
Arsenal look set to be signing Joe Hart from Manchester City for a fee rising to £9 million. After smooth transfer negotiations between the two clubs last summer (for the Adebayor and Toure deals) Manchester City look set to return the compliment to Arsenal by allowing them to sow up a deal for the World Cup bound England Goalkeeper; before the tournament kicks off in South Africa on June 11th.

David Silva (21mil)
Hugo Rodallega (8mil)

Arsenal set to confirm the free transfer of chamakh early in may..
They are also hoping to seal a deal for e.hazard discussions are belived to be at a advanced stage on a 13 to 15 m transfer.
Talk is still on going regarding eduardo to lyon the only stumbling block is the price lyon hope to pay in the region of 6m not the 8m that is being quoted.
A deal involving eduardo plus 6m for lyon keeper Hugo Lloris may be the solution

21 Apr 2010 13:14:28
Arsenal are to attempt to lure Diarra away from Real Madrid who are likely to strengthen their midfield with big names limiting his first team chances. Expect a cheeky bid of around £8m

Ferguson targets for the summer..
luka modric
david silva
david villa
james milner
marek hamsik

Obviously all these players won't be at man utd but fergie has shortlisted them and it will depend on what other teams come in for them. Fergie will not get embroiled in a bidding war therefore will only buy these players if they are available at the right price

For crying out loud! Fellow Gooners, you are making first class chumps of yoursleves coming on here with some of your ridiculous claims.
For starters, 'Wenger will sign Frey or Lloris because they are French'. Is Almunia, Lehmann, Manninger, Fabianski, Sczezhny, Mannone, Seaman or Wright French? We've never had a French keeper! As for the persisiting rumours about Joe Hart. Have a bit of sense lads! Joe Hart is a Man City player. Their current no.1 Shay Given will probably be given one more season before Hart returns to challenge his status. This is Hart's first full season as a No.1 Premier League keeper and while he's been impressive, he lacks the experience that Wenger is looking for. Man City will not sell a player of this quality and potential to any of their rivals. Why would they? They don't need the money! Hart will NOT be at Arsenal next season. He will be on loan again – but only City know where.

A lot of scoffing at suggestions David Villa will become an Arsenal player, but this is actually one of the more likely scenarios. AW bid for him in Jan but it was rejected. He will return for him this summer with a slightly improved offer (£25–27m) but won't become involved in a bidding war. This is however unlikely to happen. Fernando Torres is top of Barca's wishlist and the Real Madrid budget looks likely to be spent on Franck Ribery and whoever Mourinho wants in to strengthen the backline. With Ronaldo taking centre stage and providing goals aplenty, Villa simply would not fit into their current style of play. Chelsea could make a bid, Utd's pursuit of Milner will mean they don't have the money and the abundance of forwards at City mean it's doubtful he'll end up there either. The fact that Liverpool are out of the CL means that will be a no–go zone.

At the back, Van der Wiel looks the most likely with Sagna being sold to Juve. This could also broker a deal for Felipe Melo, although the form of Song this season may mean Wenger is simply now looking for cost effective back up in the likes of Witsel or Senna. Stefan Savic (CB) will arrive this summer following a succesful trial in January. Gael Clichy is interesting Barca, and if a deal is pushed through, expect a fee of around £18–20 million with either Gai Asulin or Bojan included in the deal. Kieran Gibbs is more than capable of being first choice LB. No idea if Gallas will sign another deal, but regardless, a CB will be brought in. Cahill, Sakho, Mexes all possibilities (£10m+). Rumours of Neven Subotic are unlikely due to the player signing a new contract (he would not be cheap!). No chance of landing Vidic – that's just laughable! Sol to be retained for one more year (youth coaching, Carling/FA cup/suspensions and injuries). Djourou likely to be sold in January once fit.

Attacking options – Eden Hazard – discussions in progress. He is Wenger's main interest and he's determined to land the player. If he comes in, expect to see Rosicky sold on. Eduardo looking likely to be loaned out next season to Lyon (part of a deal for Lloris?), Vela will also be loaned out. Wilshere to return to provide cover for Cesc (due to Ramsey's injury.) Other signings likely to come from scouting African teams in World Cup (squad players). Chamakh/Van Persie/Bendtner the central strikers (unless Villa does arrive) with Arshavin, Nasri, Walcott, Hazard and Eboue as the wide options. Simpson, Traore, Fabianski, Gilbert sold on (have all failed to make the grade), Senderos and Merida released on free's.

AW will bring in 5 players in the summer. these will compensate for the departures of Silvestre Senderos Merida (frees), Vela Mannone (loans) and fabianski(2) Eduardo(7) Traore(3) Simpson(4).
The new players arriving will be:
1XGK: it looks like Joe Hart is top of the list, with Lloris and Neuer also in the running.
1xCB: Zapata, Richards, Cahill, Chiellini and Sakho are all in the running, Zapata or Richards would be my picks.
1xDCM: It will be Moussa Sissoko, Senna, Inler or Melo. max spent will be £13m.
Eden Hazard: Wenger's marquee signing for £14m
Marouane Chamakh: confirmed on free transfer.
Promoted will be: Szczesny, Nordtveit, Botelho, Lansbury and Sunu. this is to be supplemented with the awaited arrivals of Galindo in July and Wellington Silva in January.
doubts persist over Eboue and Arshavin. Arshavin. on the Arsenal website, has been talking about how 'we' need to improve next season. he's not going anywhere. Eboue is more complicated. he's been blowing hot and cold this season and he has come under scrutiny in recent weeks. id expect him to stay, but if he did leave, it would be for £10m, and a player like Richards or vdWiel would replace him for a similar amount. don't count on him leaving tho.
Almunia, Gallas and Campbell will remain for one more season, after which all will depart. Rosicky may also be sold at the end of next season. Djourou will have to prove his fitness next season or he will go too. Denilson will also come under scrutiny. Basically the only players who are totally safe are Vermaelen, Clichy, Gibbs, Fabregas, Diaby, Nasri, Arshavin and RVP. Sagna, Bendtner, Eboue, Gallas, Rosicky et al will all have to have impressive seasons next term, or their number could be up.

To the DUB your obviously a liverpool fan so you will def like this, benitez has agreed to join juve and hopes his swan song will be euro final, he will try tempt gerrard to follow him but this is unlikly as they don't get on anymore but gerrard might be tempted as he is desperate to get out of pool due to problems with his missus and trouble she has got herself into,

possible to take over at anfield would be o neill but might have to use daglish with mcateer as no. 2 for one season to give better options for the following seasons

It was thought that Estudiantes' Marcos Angeleri would move to Rome to play with Lazio this summer, but rumours are emerging that Monaco may have the edge in signing the right back. I expect that Atletico Madrid may also enter the bidding. Sharkey.

To the person who said Scottish football will suffer in the next few years, you could be right but, i've heard there will be a revamp of the league, even as soon as next season. There will also be a major reconstruction of the European tournaments in the next 5 years

21 Apr 2010 08:47:22
After last nights brilliance in the champions league it seems as though Inter are firm favourites to go through. If they continue to play like this then they will certainly overturn Bayer Munich or Lyon.
As Mourinho has stated in the past he regretted leaving Porto when he did as he had missed oout on the chance to win the Euro Super Cup and Club World Championship. Therefore if Inter win the champions league then he will 100% be at Inter again next season no Liverpool or Real Madrid. Guaranteed

Reading are to sign Messi from Barca, Ronaldo from Real Madrid and Rooney from Manchester United.

Unlikely you say – well it's as likely as Southampton signing Gylfi Sigurdson from us.

Typical saints with ideas well above their station – IT WAS THE JOHNSTONS PAINT TROPHY NOT THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ! (and you can keep Antonio, he's not good enough for our reserves)

Anyway, Royals to try and make loan signings of Bertrand, Khizanishvili and Griffin permanent (dodgiest is Griffin as doesn't really want to relocate young family from North Staffs although admits Stoke career is over). Will also try to bring in Mackail–Smith from Posh.

To the person who said this:

Birmingham city new!

Bimingham city will have new owners Carson yeung is selling up to prince of UAE his worth 30 billion and he's promised to build a super football ground 60,000 plus

Have you got any evidence to suport this or did you forget to put the tops back on your felt–tips?

LFC News!
No matter how often use proclaim that Jose Mourinho will be at Anfield next season. it doesn't make it any more valid! Personaly I can't see the club being sold before then, and without >our< CL spot I think we'll struggle to make any major signings. Although a busy summer is a gaurantee >with< Rafa still behind the wheel. This could potentialy be his last chance so expect a big shake up with him goin for broke, and converting to a more attacking style of play. With a modest transfer budjet of £20m and sales, plus the Voronin(£1.8m) and Dossena(£3.4m) deals.
I expect – Ins. Dida(free) or one of either Liverpool reserve GK Gulacsi/Bouzanis will be promoted to succeed the departing Cavalieri and Itandje. Taye Taiwo(£10m) or Aleksander Kolorov(£14m) will be bought to succeed the out of contract and injury prone Aurelio(free). Arda Turan(p/x) with Babel(?m). Jovanovic(free) to succeed the out of favour Riera. Balotelli(loan). Also expect enquiries for Theo Walcott, Stephen Ireland, Mark Noble, Danny Wilson and Micah Richards to bolster up our British contingent.

Liam Daish is to quit Ebbsfleet in the summer, as the Kent club face bankruptcy and winding–up due to the failed 'MyFootballClub' scheme.

The Fleet could be forced to start next season in the Zamaretto League, taking the spot of Merthyr Tydfil who are dropping down to Toolstation Western level.

Also, an extra club are set to be moved up to the Conference National level from both Conference North and South in order to make up the shortfall in numbers. It could render the play–offs useless as the losing play–off team will go up anyway, subject to ground grade status.

I work within the non league management, and I can also reveal that there is debate about whether the season should start earlier, after the snow and rain in January messed up the league schedule and there is also an incentive being drawn up for non–league clubs to be fined if they are wound–up or withdraw before the end of the season. A 'bond scheme' is being looked at as a kind of insurance that a team can a) always field 11 players and at least three substitutes and b) have enough financial resources and backing.

Rafael Benitez will be given another undeserved season at Anfield to try and put things right as the new owners want him in charge and here are a few players he is really looking at, obviously only 3 or 4 maybe 5 of these will be coming in depending on how many go out 1. James Milner 2.Ibrahim Afellay 3.Aleksandar Kolarov 4.Gary Cahill 5.Landon Donovan 6.Charles N'Zogbia 7.Sergio Canales 8. Nedum Onuoha 9.Javi Martinez 10.Carlton Cole. Which of these players will be coming in depends on how much money Rafa is given but the 4 most likely to come are Afellay, Kolarov, Cahill and Donovan.

Rumour has it that Arsene Wenger will finally splash out some cash. Rumour has it that some of our current players will leave due to their lack of performance due to injury, unhappyness, etc. Now on to TRANSFER RUMOURS:

Outs: Rosicky, Eduardo, Arshavin?, Silvestre, Senderos(2 obvious ones), Almunia?

Ins: Chamakh, Boateng, Joe Hart/Lloris/Neuer

This are true rumours that are circuling around, for REAL

IN ANRSENE I DOUBT..why? because it all depends on him last seasons we haven't won because of injuries not his fault but now he knows therefore we will have to wait on the team he is suppose to build, regardless ARSENAL until I die

To the guy who said this
"Arsenal have signed chamack and a french player for free–to be announced after the season finishes.

lloris or neuer definitely coming in–negotitations have started–13m

hazard–80% sure, there has been telephone contact to the player himself–15m

mexes, van der wiel or zapata–all around 10m

sissoko, senna or melo–12m, 3m, 15m

possibly another striker–remy–9m–gignac–11m or suarez–18m

i no this will happen (pat rice's neighbour)"

I live on the other side of pat rices house, and he told me that he was only jokin when he said this and arsenal are going to resign henry, vieira, jlungberg, pires, lehman, lauren, reyes, etc.

:|pat rice is none of yours next door neighborough, he's not your mate, your boss, your moms best friends cats daughters club coach for god sake. Yeah chamakh will come in, that's kinda obvious. But why the hell would wenger bring in lloris AND neuer?!? He won't get any of them. Any keeper he'll get will be english or a non heard of keeper will class who is cheap. My bet's on hart.
Those are the only actual rumours i've heard going round skysports etc. No one who works closely with the actual club would have the sense to leak their tranfers.

How many managers buy seven or eight players in a transfer window? The lists that are being put up are crazy. All the successful clubs bring in a maximum of three, at a push four, players each year to build on what they have and not to cause too much unstability.

Onto the rumours; AW to bring in a new keeper Lloris very likely. One of Fabianski or Almunia to go.

A centre back in the mould of Richards would be a welcomed addition. Gallas to sign a new deal. Bye bye Silvestre. Another year for Sol.

A centre midfielder in the mould of Senna to provide cover for Song, maybe Melo if Arsene decides to splash the cash.

Up front Chamakh for sure – but if Eduardo goes expect another signing who is a known finisher – Henry back for a season before retiring as back up, Wenger took the chance on Campbell.

This year has been exceptional regarding injuries unlikely to happen again next year?

SPL facts not rumours
=======================
its time to get real about some of the old firm rumours that appear on this site, there is going to be even less cash coming in to the SPL in the next few years, less TV cash and also only one CL place in 2 years and that includes a play off round. Given the poor state of both old firm teams there isn't much chance on any of them beating a decent side over 2 games to get through.

celtic manager targets – Lennon, Billy Davies, Leven or some other average manager who will sign 4 or 5 average players.

rangers – smith to retire and mccoist to take over, no buyer will come forward as there is no money what so ever in the SPL and rangers finance books seem to be scarying people off. They have been on the market for about 4 years without a buyer none and the bank can't write off the debt as it would lead to many other clubs looking for the same deal.

anyway it seems like its going to be a slow painful death of scottish football unless somewhere major happens in the leagu setup.
