You have just got to hand it to the Liverpool supporters on here. Now everyone knows that the club is skint. So what do the fans do with this negative? They turn into a positive and employ wishful thinking as a tool. So the club is not broke but this is all a cunning plan by the devilishly clever Benitez to trick people into believing there is no money before he swoops, like an eagle, landing the prey that all the other teams in Europe covet. Guys, what you are doing is interpreting facts according to what you would like to be the case rather than according to the actual evidence.
Anyway, here are some real facts for you. Benitez is fed up with O'Neil at Villa and has made a take it or leave it offer of £16 million for Barry. This is not the first time and not the last that I have heard that Newcastle are not only interested in Zenit players but also their manager.
