ARSENAL RUMOURS Contrary to some people's belief, Arsene Wenger will not spend big in the transfer window signing loads of proven all-stars. He will instead use his tried and tested scouting network to find the best talent available, only making one expected and overdue big signing although some back-up for positions will be bought. Yoan Gouffran will be Arsene's first signing, arriving for £2 million from Caen in the coming weeks. The France U21 international will first start as back-up to the wingers and strikers but Wenger hopes he will become a world class striker. The prolonged arrival of Franck Ribery will finallly be completed with the explosive winger joining in a deal worth around £12 million. There will be a few other recognisable faces at the Emirates next year however, captain of Ghana, Stephan Appiah will arrive from Fenerbache along with teammate Sanli Tuncay. Tuncay will arrive on a bosman giving Arsenal extra width (something Arsenal lacked seriously at times this season) and goalscoring ability from midfield (something Arsenal have missed since the departure of the brilliant Robert Pires) . Appiah will add bite to the midfield and will replace Patrick Vieira in that sense. Arsene will sign various other promising youngsters from the French leagues who have been scouted by Gilles Grimandi. Other youngsters Arsene has been impressed with and will sign are Kolbein Sigthorsson - HK Kopavogur, Harvard Nordtveit - FK Haugesund, Plata - Malaga, Kyle Bartley - Bolton, Renato Augusto - Flamengo, Steven Naismith - Kilmarnock and Pedro - Figuereinse. The fringe players heading out are Aliadiere, Poom and Flamini. Baptista will go back to Madrid and Reyes will be sold to a team in La Liga. The most interesting signing of the summer will not be a player however, Dennis Bergkamp shouting requests from the dug-out will become a common scene as he will become a coach and Arsene wants him to be pitchside at every game (might become tricky at champions league away games though) . Arsene will now play two different formations, a familiar 4-4-2 and an interesting Holland-esque 4-3-3. Its being talked about that Newcastle will look to play the big man little man partnership up front next year, with Huntelaar being signed for £14 million.
Strong rumours around London is that Tevez will sign for weat ham for around the 15 mill mark. however it is only this low as MSI are reciving a wooping 50% of the next sell on fee.
West Ham will also move for Scott Parker, Wayne bridge and Nuno Gomes with the likes of Harewood, Dailly, Walker, Konchesky, Etherington all set to leave the Boelynn ground

MAN U RUMOURS: Man United won't spend £50 mill, but Fergie will make 3 or 4 signings. As we all know, Hargreaves is a £17 million done deal so I won't waste people's intelligence by saying I'm his great-uncles mistress. Firstly, BBC Sport understands that Man United are interested in Craig Gordon, and the chance of domestic and European glory (and £8 million) could help beat Arsenal and Villa to his signature. In defense Fergie will wait for any major signings unless he can get Heitinga or Garay for £6million. Also, Fergie said Giggs will have at least one more season in the Starting XI, so any LM/ CAM will either come next January or Summer 2008. V. D. Vaart, M. G. Pedersen, Sneijder, Quaresma and Downing are being linked with a move to Old Trafford - all are currently within a £8 - 18 million price range. As for strikers, Fergie wants a team player rather than Saha, who despite being a good player annoys his team mates and squanders many chances. United are interested in an Owen/ Rooney partnership which could cost £10 million + Saha or Richardson. Fergie wants a British backbone hence the Gordon/ Hargreaves interest (so he could go for Defoe. Despite this, other forwards being mentioned are (in order of likelyhood) : Torres, Huntelaar, Eto'o, Tevez, Berbatov and David Villa.

Everton FC rumours

Everton will try to sign Wayne Bridge from Chelsea but will fail. The price will be to high so Moyes will turn his attention to Baines. He will sign for 4mil.
Nugent won't sign for Everton this season. Moyes feels the asking price is to much and feels he has enough strikers. Other Premiership clubs will then try sign Nugent but he will reject as he wants to sign for Everton. Everton will then sign Nugent on the cheap in January for 3mil.
Fernandes will be brought in on a season long loan with the view to sign permantly for 8mil. Moyes will sign this kid NEXT summer.
Barton will sign for 5mil. Moyes is confident he can sort out Joey Barton and he will give his all for the club.
Everton will 100% sign Barnes. He is Moyes main target and feels he will be the perfect LM. Moyes will have tough competition from other clubs but will sign him for 6.5 mil.

ARSENAL. Wenger's budget will definetly be between 30 and 40 million, add on money from sales and we have around 50 million. Obviously Wenger won't spend all of it however pressure from the board and fans will force him to spend more than we would normally. First target is a winger, this will probably be Ribery the wizard for 13 million. However backups are Queresma to rival Ronaldo, Ryan l or Jesus Navas. A versatile defender is in the pipeline and although there are plenty in Europe it is Micah Richards who will come if the price is right. Finally attacking and central midfielders are Wengers pride and joy, Stephen appiah will come to backup Gilberto and Renato Augusto will be nurtered into a star and will replace Baptistas void. A fairly large clear out is in order with Poom, Flamini, Aliadiere, Baptista, Ljungberg, Senderos, Song and Reyes all off. Loanees returning are Bendtner and Vela all others being sold. Now to youth, Arsenal's prominent targets are Kolbein Sigthorsson, Gai Assulin and Lulinha however there are probably hundreds, these will be added to Gilles Sunu, Yago Fernandez and Kyle Bartley. Everton FC could set to have a transfer move for Udinese center back/ left back Felipe Da Silva. Even though the player is contracted to the club till 2010 Moyes thinks he could get the player for 3-5 million. Darren Bent's preferred club choice is Tottenham although Charlton may prefer to swap him for Marlon + £6million. Another hopeful signing is Scott Parker, maybe wants to return to London? who knows, but big sam is keen on keeping nicky butt and signing campo for his midfield so Curbs is keeping one eye open for him.
Craig Bellamy has also been linked, but Reading or Villa are better candidates for him.
J-Lloyd Samuel should also be in a West Ham shirt by August with Konchesky moving on after yet another fallout with Curbs.
