Arsenal have submitted an improved offer of 12m to Zenit for Arshavin. It has not been confirmed as to whether this is including possible add–ons depending on performances but I would expect so. Zenit wouls still like to hold out for 20m, but with Arshavin's agent, Dennis Lachter, announcing that Arshavin will buy himself out of his contract if Zenit do not not sell within the next 48 hours, as the FIFA rule book states as legal. With this, expect Zenit to give up and sell Arshavin for the highest that Arsenal are willing to offer, as they could face losing him for half what Arsenal are offering for him if they don't sell.

Thanks,
Arsene–al
So many rumours on here as too who MON will buy before end of Jan. and no one can come up with a 100% believable rumour. He needs a centre back who can play left side when needed, a player who can score vital goals and is a good set piece performer. One man stands out, Lescott. Villa true and available as The Toffee's want money.
He needs a 20 goals a season man and Keane is available and he wants a big guy up front who will run through defenders, is clumsy and who creates mayhem, Kevin Davies.
Lescott will cost 15m Davies 4m and Keane 10m, and all are available at this sought of money.
But it is silly season at Anfield and johniskool is getting excited and reckons Keane is 30m. Where do you do your shopping John?
Because you don't live in my world!! These prices are only for the super rich with more money than sense.
Oh yes, he plays for Liverpool. Read last paragraph again.
As an arsenal fan, the potential signing of Arshavin disappoints me, the guy may have won the UEFA cup with zenit, but he is just not good enough. A couple of decent performances in the Euros and he's suddenly worth £15m+ ?? rubbish. on the other hand, we need to sign an attacking midfielder who will do a job whilst we are without fabregas. if he does a job for us till the summer touche, but what about after that he wouldnt get into the central midfield role once cesc returns, and wenger will be looking to use walcott onthe right once he returns. anyway, in january, we will see arshavin arrive for £15m. the summer will b much busier for the club:
Ins summer: Richards, Green, Yaya Toure, (traore, hoyte and barazite loan returns)
Outs summer: eboue, denilson, senderos, bendtner (vela moving up front to become the fourth striker), gilbert, gallas (unfortunately, as he hasbeen immense since being stripped of captaincy, song will become fourth centreback), randall (crap).
i also believe we need to offload rosicky. . everytime we hear he is to return he has some recurrence of an injury. a waste of wages is all he is. traore should permanently take his place in the squad.
also watch out for nordtveit and lansbury in the future!
  Arsenal january outs: nobody
january ins: arshavin £15m
summer outs: gallas, eboue, denilson, bendtner, randall, fabianski (loan), simpson, gilbert.
summer ins: green, y toure, richards, traore (L return), barazite (loan return), hoyte (loan return).
other possiblities are battaglia of boca juniors, but mayb his age will count against him, michael johnson, zapata (alternative to richards).
i see all these "rumours" about tevez joining on loan. . it would b fantastic, but dream on! it would never ever happen whilst he is at man utd.
as a gooner i just have to laugh at spurs. ramos went to madrid where his players are doing very well, yet spurs were rubbish under him. what does that tell you about their players? decent players seem to move there and then their standards take a nosedive: bent, modric, bentley, giovani, bale just to name a few. at least u now have a a proven and respectable manager in Harry Redknapp. however the mediocrity of your players in general will see you finish in mid table if that.
Lukasz Fabianski, the Arsenal, goalkeeper, could sign for: Birmingham City this transfer window. As the club looks set to replace veteran Maik Taylor. James Walker of West Ham United is also a alternative keeper being looked at by Birmingham.

Nery Castillo is now seen as a cheap alternative instead of Scotland striker Kris Boyd. A Birmingham scout saw him play in a reserve game.
Amazing stuff here for liverpool fans!!!!

Rafa has made a massive move for robben and henry of R. madrid and barcelona to the tune of 40million quid. he'll also bring in johnson for 12m with keane (11m), dossena (5m), degen (any takers?), lucas (6m), and N'gog (4m) all out going. have faith fellow scousers, still a long way to go!

YNWA
Rumours persist about the financial predicament of Port Vale and their current number one keeper, Joe Anyon who's out of contract this summer, being transferred in the January window.

The shot–stopper that many football clubs, including, Manchester City, QPR, Burnley and Leicester City are watching is the Valiant's highly rated, 17 year–old Dan Lloyd–Weston who's not even on a professional contract.

Previously on long–term trials at Manchester United and Liverpool, Lloyd–Weston's signature has previously been chased by several Premiership and Championship teams (we've heard that Cardiff had made him an outstanding offer last year).

Manchester–born, Lloyd–Weston was more recently coached under Joe Corrigan at West Brom, before moving to the Burslem team to get more regular games. The situation for Port Vale with threats of legal action by previous manager Lee Sinnott to recover outstanding payments, allegedly owed to him since his sacking earlier this season, means that Port Vale may have to sell on their talented young keeper, Lloyd–Weston, to balance the books.

''These transfers r going to be happening.
fanck riberry– manchester united(13million)
arshavin–arsenal(20 million)
pepe–liverpool(1 million)
pennant–portsmouth(undisclosed)''
WHAT!!!! Are u mad?im a man utd fan and no riberry is worth at least double £13million, and pepe are talking the madrid centre half? if so £1million?? sorry to put it so blunt but, your off your head!:)
right some real rumours
im hearing alot in the suprise rumour that city are planning a shock move jan/summer for dany of zenit, but in jan the arabs are gonna make one 'big' signing but nothing has been confirmed because they put all there time and effort in kaka and having been turned down, will start to throw obseen amounts of money around for the best players in europe, hoping one club will except and they can lure him there on silly wages, these are;
villa–valencia
vidic–man utd
ronaldo–man utd
gerard–liverpool
terry–chelsea
chellini–juventus
buffon–juventus
ramos–madrid
xavi–barcelona
messi–barcelona
now im not saying all these are gonna happen for a second and there are some of them you can wipe off straight away due to them being in european cup but im just writing them as i see them from a txt of a friend, there thinking is at least one club will except and they can make that 'big' signing.
As i said i am a man utd fan but im still excited at being able to see these players in the epl, at what ever club.
Also, there is truth in the tevez goals thing i saw on here, there is a clause in a contract between the club and msi that if he reaches a certain amount of goals over 2 years that the price will rise up to £32million, but united don't want to enter into contract talks untill the season is up, where if tevez does reach the target fergie will go for benzema instead, i understand that he wasn't intrested untill the rumour came to life and lyon seemed to be willing to do a deal in the region of £30–35million.
thanks for reading.

  HIBS NEWS
heard from a reliable scource that peter lovenkrands was at easter road last night. If the deal falls through at newcastle he's prepared to take a chance in scotland to put himself in the shop window.
Theres alot of bull going on in this website. . who ever said McGeady will go to villa for 4 million has clearly got his facts wrong as 6 mounth ago safc offered 10 million+ and it was rejected and gary caldwell to chelsea wtf! just think about it why would that go through(n00b).
now down to the serious stuff of safc coming in will be–
shittu
darren bent

out–
chopra
chimbonda

and a few on loan.
Rite, ma sister aint sleepin with fergie nor does ma dad mow wengers lawn but these are all realistic rumours that could take place by the end of next week:

Ferguson to Newcastle from Rangers for between 2/4 mill
arshavin to arsenal for roughly 14 mill with incentives
Mcgeady to villa/sunderland for bout 5 mill
Bentner to west ham with upson goin the other way(replacing bellamy)
Fabian Delph to sign for. . LEEDS, an extension on wat he has
simeon jackson to jump up from league 2 gills to prem villa (possibly but not 100%)
cudicini out of chelsea with everyone linked(personally reckon hell go to celtic if they miss out on zaluska, otherwise expect spurs)
Lucas neil is on his way to pompey and martin cranie is going the other way.
Lovenkrands to sign till end of season at st james
  Cardiff city
marlon king is having medical at city, hes signing on loan after a big bust up with phil brown, also kasper schmiechal is close to returning for 1 mill.
Arsenal have given Zenit till the 26th of January to accept their bid of 13 million + 4 million in appearance based add–ons

If the Arshavin move fails, Steven Defour may be the subject of a 7.5 million pound bid

Stuttgart's German International Serdar Taschi is also attracting interest from Arsenal and Milan as they both look 2 add defensive cover

Man City are looking 2 add Drogba 2 their strike force and will pay up to 25 million
Liverpool will be signing the following in the summer:

Antonio Valencia (13.5mil)
Glen Johnson (10mil)
Emile Heskey (free)
Aislan (5mil + add ons)
Fabian Delph (5mil + add ons)

Leaving will be:

Jermaine Pennant (free)
Yossi Benayoun (6.5mil)
Philip Degen (2mil)

Hyypia will get a player/coach role.

Sebastian Leto and El Zhar will either be kept in the squad as back ups or be loaned out. Benitez doesn't want to sell them but if a bif of more than 3.5mil arrives for either of them he may take the money.

Hamill and Anderson's future at Liverpool depends on Leto and El Zhar. If they both are sold or loaned out, they stay. If Leto and el Zhar stay, they both are loaned out unless very good offers come in.
  Barry ferguson to aston villa

4 million completed this week
I have heard a whisper from the corridors of Anfield our beloved liverpool want Thierry Henry, Henry wants too return too premiership next season and the only club he would consider is Liverpool.Barca need midfielders and Alonso fits the bill.Alonso won't mind move back too Spain and Henry wants too experience the fabulous Euro nights at Anfield.THIS will happen in the summer not sure of prices but Liverpool will recieve money for Alonso plus Henry.Dont forget you heard this first from SINBAD SENRAB
'To th eguy who calledme a twat about ballack joinning celtic on loan gt a grip i no my football n this is 100 per cent true. and yes puyol is joinning man city in th summer. lee naylor is also goin 2 west brom wi robinson going th other way. arsenal wnt 2 sign scot brown 4 15 million' Don't know where to start with this one. Ballack? The guy's on over 100k a week. Celtic couldn't afford to pay that and Chelsea wouldn't keep paying it if he wasn't actually playing for them. Plus he's a 1st team regular at Stamford Bridge. Brown for 15 mil? Wenger doesn't want to pay that much for Arshavin, a player with 10 times more quality than Brown. Celtic would get lucky if they sold him for anything higher than 6.5 mil. Celtic's only signing of the window will be a left back, possibly Paul Robinson for £1.5 million. Rangers won't bring in anybody (even on loan or free) unless we offload one or two high earners. The only one we'll get a high offer for is McGregor with Newcastle and Spurs hovering. If he did leave it would be for around 5–6 million. Bougherra may leave but for only a fraction of the 5 mil being quoted. He is untested at the highest level and fairly injury prone. No–one wants to touch Ferguson because of his awful form and frequent injury problems so we're stuck with him. Mendes will stay until the Summer when he'll probably leave. Boyd may yet go to Birmingham, but his attitude towards his potential new club has left Karen Brady unimpressed. If he goes, we'll get about 3–4 million for him, enough to balance the books for the time being. Possible ins for Rangers – if we get rid of one player then Lovenkrands may yet rejoin on a free along with a defender on loan, possibly Tonel or Stranzl. If we sell McGregor, one of these defenders will join permanently. Also expect Dean Shiels to sign a pre–contract soon and both halves of the old firm to court Berra and Kingston of Hearts with Berra joining celtic and Kingston joining rangers.
  Norwich City News!

Bryan Gunn is currently working on bringing in new players, Andy Bishop, Martin Taylor, Ched Evans (loan) and Leroy Lita are all ready to sign on the dotted line, however Gunn cant move until the new manager is brought to the club and gives his blessing on the transfers.
Newcastle will sign no one during the Jan transfer window! Fact! They may get Lovenkrands on a freebe until the end of the summer along with a couple of loan players but they will not spend one penny.
The same happened 2 seasons ago with Roeder remember? All promises about the Jan transfer window but only a loan of the big defender Gooch until the end of the season!

Major star clearout in the summer:

Owen (Heart never in it and Newcastle failed to deliver)
Given (irreplaceable although Harper pretty good)
N'Zogbia (publicly said he wants away)
Viduka (always injured)
Smith (useless anyway)
Right first of all Dan Agger will sign a new 5 year contract at Liverpool by the end of the transfer window and they will also bring in a winger with David Silva or Joaquin the preferred choices. Pennant will be shown the exit door as will Benayoun in the summer. Other news now and Pogrebynyak will be loaned to Everton, Arshavin will move to another club if he doesn't appreciate Arsenal's bid, Beckham will sign permanently for AC Milan especially if Kaka leaves, Newcastle will offer £8 million for Mbia from Rennes, Drogba will leave for Inter in the summer and Man.City striker Jo will be loaned to either Newcastle, Everton, Hull, Fulham or Bolton
Keane back to Tottenham this week.Wait and see. . Macca

After failing to sign Kaka Man City will bid 45m for Santa Cruz. Big Sam will use the money to sign Stoke trio Abdulaye Faye, Ricardo Fuller and Danny Pugh
"Will people stop saying Mendes will leave Rangers. He has played for Pompey and Rangers so far this season so can't leave until the summer for god sake. .so leave it will you.". . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ermmm. .and for the last time, Mendes played in the charity shield for pompey, not recognised as a "competitive" match or acknowledged by FIFA/UEFA, so yes he can move again and with the turmoil at Spurs do not be surprised to see Redknapp make a move, possibly a double bid with Bougherra as the injury to Ledley King worsens the situation. Rangers MAY not sell either but lets be honest, will they turn down potentially £8–£10m?

Also to the muppet who wrote about Hesselink to Man City and Makalamby (hibs goalie) to premiership, not a chance. .hesselink is decent goalscorer but look at who man city have/want!!!Makalamby is a fekn nightmare. .

Celtic will strengthen in January, 2–4 defeat to Aberdeen has found out a few frailities and these will be resolved, possible to include Evans and Garrido from Man City, McFadden from Birmingham, and Zaluska from Dundee Utd to come in now and not summer. . .
  Hearts/Birmingham

Garry O'Connor will move to Hearts in a swap deal involving Christophe Berra. Alex McLeish has turned his attention to Berra after failing to agree a deal with top target Bobo Balde because of his high wage demands. O'Connor is desperate to move back to Scotland as his wife has struggled to settle in England. Romanov is a long term admirer and has already held several meetings with City. Hearts have a 20% sell on clause should Berra move in the future and they will also receive a further £500,000 should Birmingham gain promotion to the Premiership.
Its been known after robinhos row with mark hughes and is said to be making a big money move to chelsea. . they were his desired club in the summer but decided to go to man city in the last few hours of the transfer window. he thought that man city would be higher in the league . .the fee could be up to 40million. . TRUTH!!
After walking out of MAn City's training camp, Robinho has returned back to Brazil and is said to be looking for a big money move to a European club, with Barcelona very interested in signing the fomer REal MAdrid man. Prepare for a shock move for RObinho, just a few months after signing for the Eastlands club. I cannot confirm my source, but it is all true!
You heard it here first this is 100% true, Wilson Palacios travelled into city airport yesterday. so surely must be head towards spurs.

leroy lita has been seen at tynecastle today with regards to a swap deal involving robbie neilson and juno makela going to reading along with £250,000
Breaking News; Man City have offered Chelsea £190m for Lampard (£60m), Terry (£45m), Drogba (£30m), Alex (£15m), Essien (£35m), and Cudicini (£5m).
They also intend on making bids for Real’s Sergio Ramos (£40m), Daniel Agger (£15m) and an improved offer for Craig Bellamy (approx £15m) and of course Kaka for £110m.

Total spend – £370m, yes that’s £370m; slightly more than I earn in a month.

Within the Bellamy deal expect Benjani to head to the Boleyn Ground as it is not a straight cash purchase. This should, with the players already there fire Man City up the table and into a CL spot. I have a mole in the Eastlands and she feeds me with the transfer info when she finds out.

Jay Enrique Rodriguez of Burnley FC is been strongly linked with a loan move to either Valladolid or Numancia.

Manchester United and Arsenal are both keeping tabs on Burnley pair Chris Anderson and Alex Ray–Havey. Both are keen to snap the pair up before they sign professional deals at Burnley.

Burnley will sign Darren O'Dea on loan from Celtic and he will go straight into the squad for the league cup semi final against Spurs
After the way harry rednapp reacted to Darren Bents glearing miss for tottenham on sunday saying 'my missus coulda scored that' and after to his coaching staff 'how the fing hell did he miss that' the strong rumour is that he will leave for one of West Ham/Everton/Newcastle/ or amazingly Reading –LFCFORLIFE–
My sisters mate works in Liverpool Airport and has sighted Jankulovski in WH Smith. Reports have suggested that Bolton are interested. Just got off the phone to my friend in London are reports suggest that QPR are lining up a bid for Cambridge youngster Richard Hetherington.
  NEWS–
Dont know whats happening at LFC at the moment with Rafa, but i have heard that funds to buy Ashley Young have been made available and a bid in the region of 15 mill is imminent. Villa are buying Diego Forlan and if they sell Young they will replace him with McGeady who MON knows well. In public MON states he would never sell Young, but in private he really likes McGeady and if LFC come up with the dosh he will sell! Villa scouts have also been in Italy, dunno who they were watching though.
I was recently in the Liverpool 1 shopping centre. After my shopping was over with, I returned to the car park to pick up my car. To do this, I had to take the lift up a couple of floors. Imagine my surprise when the door opened and inside stood a prominent Everton player (I can't so which one for obvious reasons). I didn't want to badger him so I just nodded towards him, and he returned that nod. Okay, so the life continues its journey up, or, rather, it grinds to a halt! We were stuck in that damned lift for over 30 minutes. After 5 minutes of those, the prominent Everton player and I began the usual chit chat. When I admitted to being interested in the game myself, he became very, very friendly. Given that he had become so open, I decided to ask him about David Moyes' transfer targets. Here is what he explained: Behind the scenes David Moyes is very busy. Most recently he has been in discussion with Harry Redknapp about taking Darren Bent on loan. This deal is pretty much sorted as I type. Bent just needs to agree lower his personal terms, and the loan is in the bag. Moyes has also asked about David "Big Time Charlie" Bentley, but was turned down on that front since Moyes would not commit to signing the overrated playmaker should the loan be a success. But on all accounts, Moyes and Bill Kenwright are are going to go back in with a "sweetener" for Harry, and we all know that Harry likes those! Another target is Elano of Manchester City. Again this is a loan deal with a view to purchase at the end of that. Most startling, was that Moyes has asked about taking two Liverpool players, which are Jermaine Pennant and Yossi Benayoun. Various other names were put forward by the Everton player, but he insisted that those discussed above are Moyes' favoured target.

Unfortunately the lift was repaired at that point so I couldn't get any more information from this man, nor would I have pushed him anyway. That's not the type of person I am. What I did get from him, though, were two free tickets to tonight's derby (Monday). As he promised, they arrived in the mail on Saturday morning. What a gent!
Arsenal News – Stop Press – Micheal Owen to Arsenal by the end of the month £6.5Million.
Big twist on the Arshavin front. Rumours in Russia are suggesting that Man City are about to enter the race to sign him and surprisingly Arshavin is said to prefer a move to Man City rather than the glorious Gunners. Who says money doesn't talk!!
To rafas sangria im from west derby i didnt think you would know the area of liverpool any talking to some of the lads who have heard we are possibley getting Bent and Bentley off spurs on loan this not the first time ive heard this The Big Man COYB
Now Zola has some money to spend from Bellamy's sale to Man.City, expect him to make bids for Joe Ledley from Cardiff,Alex from Chelsea and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo from Fiorentina. Zola may also enquire about taking Aaron Ramsey on loan from Arsenal, with a view to a permanent deal in May.
Mancity wil n0t sign kaka in jan but they may sign him in the summer.as for liverpool they wil n0t sign any0ne in jan bt in the summer they wil make huge signings – aguero 35m , david silva 15m with babel g0ing 2 valencia ,sergio asenj0 8mil, hamsik 10m

Liverpool could soon secure a player who has been compared to fernando torres.

his name is robert lewandowski
and he plays for polish side lech poznan.
the 20year old is a goal machine.
Man City to sign Kaka, C. Ronaldo, Messi, Fabregas, Torres, Casillas, Buffon, Xavi, John Terry and Sergio Ramos this month. Only joking. Nice to see a City supporter on here who is not all about the money and does appreciate the players they have such as Ireland and Wright–Phillips, who did not cost 100 mil but are effective and win games. Aside from the beyond insane City and on to Arsenal. It is pretty much confirmed before the deal is done that Arsenal will sign Andrei Arshvin early this week for 15–17 mil. This will be confirmed by Friday. Other Arsenal targets include Matthew Upson (12 mil), Niko Kranjcar (15 mil), Michael Johnson (10 mil) and Mark Noble (8 mil). Expect Mattew Upson to be signed before the end of January and possibly a holding midfielder. With Arshavin comming in and Fabregas, Rosicky, Walcott, Eduardo, Gallas and Silvestre all returning from injury soon, expect Arsenal to become an even stronger force than they currently are. The only problem we will have once a top four finish in ensured will be selection choice. Adebayor and van Persie will continue as the strike force of the 4–4–2. The midfield will certainly include Fabregas, Arshavin and Nasri. The final place in the midfield will be contested for by Rosicky and Walcott. If it is Rosicky, he would either go central midfield alongside Fabregas, with Nasri on the left and Arshavin on the right, or on the right with Nasri on the left, Fabregas central and Arshavin sitting off of the two strikers. If it is Walcott, he will go right with Nasri left, and Fabregas central and Arshavin again sitting off the main strikers. I would hope that it is given to Rosicky, as he is a world–class, experienced midfielder who was part of the very strong side of last season. Walcott is still young and still has developing to do. His time is still yet to come. Arsenal will become a force to be reckoned with once the transfer window is over and all are back from injury.

THE TRUTH ON KAKA AND ARSENAL.
Kaka will sign for Man City this month.90–100mil
There will be a clause in his contract allowing him to move to any club for 40mil at the end of next season if City cannot reach the target which will be set now. FINISH IN THE TOP FOUR.
As for my team, Arsenal, we will sign Arshavin for 16.5 mil and also Lorik Cana for 8–10 mil.
No–one will leave. STOP ALL THE MINDLESS RUMOURS ABOUT US, IT BLOODY WINDS ME UP.
BELIEVE!

ARSENAL YOUTH KNOW IT ALL.
  Rangers FC – Latest

The latest i've heard from inside Murray Park is that the one leaving will be Alan McGregor. Walter sees this transfer as the one least likely to disrupt the team as Alexander is an able replacement, and Walter will speak to his mate sir alex to take Ben Foster on loan as cover.

Spurs and Man City are both sniffing around and require new keepers ,although Man City would rather have Shay Given, but time is running out.

A bid of around £5.5m will be accepted, and Walter will be given around £2.5m to add to the squad. Rumour has it he may spend it on one player that being either aussie left midfielder from Palermo Mark Brescaino or Tonel from Sporting Lisbon to strengthen the defence as Davie Weir is on his last season and his last legs. Other alternatives would be David Healy from Sunderland £1m and Stranzl £1m + centre half from Spartak Moscow.

Watch this space. . . . . . .
Harry Redknapp (tottenham manager) is trying to persuade Mr.Levy (tottenham's chairman) to make a 15 million pounds bid for Wigan's Wilson palacios quickly before Manchester City do!!!
To the guy who wrote "Yohann Gourcuff to Arsenal in the summer for 6 to 8 million depending on apperances"

Sorry mate bordeaux have him on loan and have first refusal on him as part of the deal with a £13 million pound buy out clause.
Spurs are in big trouble down the bottom this will cause a mini clearout in the days leading up to jan players in mcgeady 9m, bent going the other way on 6 months loan, palacios 14m, boughera 5.5m due to king's injury, expect another striker possibly cavenaghi or viduka players out zokora 9.5m real madrid jenas 11m inter
Everton to buy Australian international Mark Bresciano for 12 million pounds. David Moyes thinks Bresciano is a skillfull, expierienced and relentless midfielder whose tireless displays on the pitch and maurauding attacking runs would strengthen the everton midfield. He also believes that the attacking chemistry he has with Cahill from there international team games will be a huge asset to everton. Another reason for this buy is that it will releave pressure off the team if cahill is out injured and pressure off the midfield if cahill has to play striker.

EVERTON FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Will people stop saying Mendes will leave Rangers. He has played for Pompey and Rangers so far this season so can't leave until the summer for god sake. .so leave it will you.
Boyd and Ferguson may go if bids come in this week. .we only need to sell 1 but if 2 go then a centre half will brought in. .That's all that's happening at Rangers .
Irish players on the move. .
Baird Fulham to Rangers
Sproule Bristol City to Aberdeen
Shiels Hibs to Rangers
Big news out of paisley, playmaker extraordinare Andy Dorman is on his way out of St.Mirren. With the old firm Stoke, Fulham, Bolton waiting in the wings. (4 – 7 million)

Also according to my sources a middle eastern consortium could make a bid to buy St Mirren. They see them as the new force in the SPL. More to follow. . .
Firstly, the actual Man.City bid 4 Kaka is known 2 no–one except Milan and City the numbers being made up are ridiculous.

Arsenal will most likely complete the deal 4 Arshavin barring a major complication like a hijack from another club. He will probably wear the No.23 shirt

Arsenal are also interested in City's Michael Johnson who is going cheap now that City are likely 2 sign De Jong. Sebastian Battaglia is also on the shortlist.

Rafa Benitez is being lined up as permanent manager 4 Real Madrid as Ramos's tenure will only b extended if he wins La Liga or UCL

Chelsea will sell Drogba after Scolari's commments after the Stoke City match they will accept 10–15 million pounds

Man Utd will sign a promising young manager following Ferguson's retirement. They are looking 4 someone who is willing 2 take on a long term project 2 see the team into the new decade.
Reading manager Steve Coppell is after highly rated Leicester midfielder Andy King. Nigel Pearson is reluctant to sell, but John Madejski is ready to back Coppell if it means Reading end up back in the Premier League. Reading are also after Peterborough attacker George Boyd & Pompy striker David Nugent.
Plenty of stuff on here lately regarding Liverpool and Nico Krancjar and Aiden McGeady. Rafa was 'pushed' into the Keane deal against his own wishes and better judgement hence his current refusal to sign a contract unless he gets transfer control. He doesn't want that to happen again. As for McGeady/Krancjar, Rafa sees the style of McGeady as an possible answer to the right side of midfield or even behind Torres in the Dalglish style. He is just unsure about McGeady's 'professionalism' off the pitch. Krancjar he sees as an ideal player to play behind Torres also. Funnily enough, another name that keeps cropping, which I mentioned here in the early summer, is Joe Cole. My source for all of this? My father's golfing buddies who happen to be Liverpool players present and retired.
Forest news. . .first to the very sad man talking about Forest going down, check the results pal we are on the up and up. Mid table safety this year and watch them go next. To the fool who said Tyson will go to Preston!!!!!! Not for sale and why would he go to a club in decline? and for 1.5 million? Just signed a new 3 year deal and going nowhere. Just goes to show, only I know the real news, Rob Jones to come down from scotland along with Zander Diamond. Possibly Richard Cresswell coming in on loan as well. Dan the ever so Main Man, beware imitators.
As well as looking for a defender, Ricky Sbragia is also interested in signing Jermaine Jenas who has been out of favor of late. He has also enquired as to the availability of Darren Bent who was offered to Sunderland in a swap deal for Kenwyne Jones.
