Former Youth goalkeeper Chris Field will sign a contract with AFC Telford United tommorrow until the end of the season as back up to Ryan Young. Telford are believed to be looking for another more experienced goalkeeper after missing out on one to a divisional rival (un-named) but Field will be back up for the foreseeable future. John Psaras is keen on giving youth a taster of the first team. 18 year old Field had been playing for local side Wellington Amateurs and impressed after being watched several times. I expect more youth players, possibly from local teams to be given a chance, might as well as we're down anyway!

UP THE BUCKS!

Source: the Club secretary

Hmm wouldn't shock me, not sure i've heard of the lad but I guess if he has been playing at a decent standard (welly ams) at a young age he might be worth a try, only a kid!
going down so why not let the youth of telford have a go!

UP THE BUCKS indeed!

Derby to sign
Joel Grant and Matt McClure from wycombe

Thats nice.

Why would they go to a club on the down

How are derby on the down young promising squad, one of the best academys in the country, premier league standard Facilities.

Why would they go to a club on the down?

Because they're still light years ahead of Wycombe.

Look at tom naylor from mansfield he was from lower leagues and saul deeney and jake buxton when they first signed

huddersfield town to sign nakii wells on laon until he end of the season. personally this is a stupid thing to do as he isn't good enough for us but there you go

22 Mar 2013 18:10:56
HOW DARE YOU. Nahki Wells is an amazing player and has done wonders for Bradford this season. He would walk into Huddersfield's team and most other championship teams for that matter. I bet you have never watched him play ever before mate.

You make me laugh, what have we got lame Beckford and Novack, he carnn't do much worse.

Utter tripe, not going to happen, he has gone off the boil and why would Bradford let any remote chance of the playoffs go with him.

Can't see this he not even scoring in league 2 never mind championship

Theo, naki, theo, naki, theo, naki who would you have

Walk into hudds team, Vaughan and the others are miles better. Nahki wells can't cope with league 2 so he would have to run at a hundred miles and hour to get onto our bench.

Theo lol

23 Mar 2013 13:34:39
No he wouldn't mate lol. Vaughan is your only decent striker and Wells would be a major asset to your team.

Naki did well at Wembley against the mighty Swansea. don't think so. Average player in a poor team

23 Mar 2013 17:21:41
Shut up mate he's a great footballer

Just get quality striker in nakhi well is solid

Naki wells a great striker, haha that's the most funny thing that's been said ever. top comeden

Arsenal's chief scout Gilles Grimandi is set to make a visit to the Liberty Stadium tomorrow week where Swansea will take on Tottenham Hotspur. It is believed that Pablo Hernandez has made an impression on Arsene Wenger this season with some impressive displays.

Arsenal leave him alone

Tomorrow? he might be waiting a while

Arsene leave us alone and stop pesterring our players.

No chance half of arsenal starting 11 be swansea next year if rumours to be believed

My mate sells the pies at Swansea, he's wanted by Arsenal as well.

Liverpool have contacted Schalke and expressed interest in their, German born, Cameroonian international Joël Matip. It is understood that Brendan Rodgers will be looking to shore up the centre of his defence this summer with Kop legend Jamie Carragher retiring and Martin Skrtel falling out of favour. Rodgers sees Matip as the perfect acquisition in covering this hole as the player fits into Rodgers' philosophy of being young and comfortable in possesion of the ball. Moreover, at a price of around £6 million Rodgers believes it is likely that FSG, who have recently been quite frugal with the purse strings, will likely finance the purchase of a player who fits this philosophy.

How did you come to the conclusion "quite frugal", 15 on sturridge 11 on borini 9 on coutinho 15 on allen 3 on some dutch winger who never plays!

Name a striker (who doesn't play for Liverpool) that is in better form right now than Sturridge? the only price tag there that could be questioned is Allen's and of course buying Assaidi, as he has barely featured for whatever reason.

derby are a selling club they have always have and always will also they have misses out on loads of players who now are doing well (Leon Osman)

How did Derby miss out on Osman? He was only on loan to Derby. It was never meant to lead to a permanent signing. So did Preston miss out on Beckham, or Forest miss out on Terry? Any chance that you might check some facts before posting.

Tell me a team that isn't a selling club, Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool?

Burley wanted Osman but Everton wanted him back, same with Lupoli and Barazite.

Derby have rigid wage restriction which limit available players, forget prem quality players Derby (like most clubs!) have to fish from other ponds!

This isn't even a rumour so I don't know why it's here. Probably a Forest fan. and not a very knowledgeable one at that. Osman was only on loan for us.

Leon Osman came on loan to Derby, he was never our player.

In fact the loan move to Derby gave was the springboard for him to become a very good premier league player.

I don't think we will be selling club this summer.

We will keep hold of Jeff Hendrick, Will Hughes, John Brayford, Mason Bennett and Jamie Ward. I am confident.

Yes we were previously a selling club but your Osman example is poor. A better example would be Tom Huddlestone. However I say with confidence as a Derby fan now that we are not a selling club. Obviously that could all change but I do not think we will sell our best players this summer.

22 Mar 2013 18:09:37
Derby are a fantastic club and have loads of great young players with loads of potential like Will Hughes, Michael Jacobs and Mason Bennett.

Osman was on loan from Everton for experience and it was always intended he would go back. We did not miss out on him and his enthusiasm during the loan kept us afloat

Moyes said last week if Derby had upped their offer he would have sold him. A cracking player for both us and Everton. JK tried to sign him soon after he went back to the Toffees.

Clough to offload 3-4 players and bring 2

22 Mar 2013 14:44:01
Florent Cuvelier looks set once again to go out on loan to Walsall. This would be the third time they have signed him and Flo has already said he has had an offer from them.

Ive heard that Barnsley are interested in signing Jermaine Easter and Martyn Waghorn and I know they have Ricardo Gardner on trial

Barnsley don, t need another striker have four in first team squad priorities

Easter signed for Millwall

Mark Hughes having talks for the Reading job.

In the words of Jimbo Mcinroe
YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS

I think he will take reading to euro
Most underated
Grab him while you can

Mark Hughes is not what the club needs. From what I understand from qpr fans he only brought players using agents that well let's just say looked after him. Nigel Adkins deserves the job every one is talking about the reading way maybe this man can deliver his own brand of football I am not a Southampton supporter in any way shape or form but he did turn them into a footballing side so come on you royals and let's just get this right.

23 Mar 2013 12:36:00
AZ is far to clever with his money to fall for that one - just mugs like Fernandez

22 Mar 2013 10:03:37
Gus Poyet turns down Reading job to stay with Brighton. tv News

Its believed he is waiting on Mr Warnock to resign/retire at Leeds.

Lol is that comment serious? why would he go to leeds when he's built a team around what he wants at brighton, deluded.

Poyet would only leave for an astablished prem side i. e top 10 side not a team to fight religation or any other championship team
come on stop all the nonsence. brighton 3 palace 0 11 v 11

simon grayson will not make any loan signings instead he will save money from loan deals till summer when he will bring in new players to preston, expect the likes of beardsley, byrom, proctor, foster, moose to go, grayson will replace them with likes of peter clarke, lee novak, danny pugh and declan rudd could join again on loan or a full time deal

Over 90% of the current team are free transfers.

There is NO money to buy the likes of Clarke, Novak & Pugh.

Larry is going to have to save every penny of the yearly budget to pay the players next season and unless new players are available for £0 or are on loan. then it's the same underachievers as this season.

22 Mar 2013 14:17:29
think you will find preston do have money but they did not trust westley with it, hemmings will give funds to grayson to buy in the summer, grayson can't see the need for loan signings unless there is a major inuries. so fans who say preston have no money are way off the mark

22 Mar 2013 15:06:00
Not a chance of getting Clarkey he loves Town and wouldn't leave to play for a boss who lost the backing of the majority of his players due to his bone idol approach after a good start

I can tell you one thing for sure he. s a much better manager than mark robins.

22 Mar 2013 16:00:07
Peter Clarke will be next Town boss after Robins when he's done playing, 110% Town is the bloke

22 Mar 2013 17:05:47
You may be correct about Clarke but the most you can get is 100%! Grayson will get funds in the summer and will be able to bring in his own players when he releases 7 or 8 of the current squad.

26 year old serbian defender Never markovic has revealed that he is on trail with Championship side Watford FC. He was previously at Sporting Kansas City (MLS)

Or even trial.
One week with the club to try and impress

No way he's a non leauge player why on earth would Watford want him?

If he is a centre back and half way decent he could be used as cover especially as Nyron is going to be out for a period after rupturing his achiles

23 Mar 2013 14:18:57
Wrong, it's training not a trial, and he has already stated so himself over twitter.

He's not on trial. He's just training with the club to maintain fitness until he finds a new club.

He is training with the club and hopes to get a deal. Not an official trial, but pretty much the same thing.

frome towns 18yr old left back Bradley partner attracts the attention of aston villa

Derby interest for the summer

Will Grigg
Martyn Waghorn
Greg Cunningham
Chris Martin
Jon taylor/Fabian brandy
Murray Davidson
Nigel Hasselbaink
Christopher Forrester
Paddy madden
Shaun Hutchison
Chris Humprey

All interest at the moment nothing more we obviously wouldn't sign them all if any. But all have been watched some part in the season and a lot on free transfers in the summer,

Don't forget Sam Smith.

Don't forget Martin Paterson and Aidy White
