Town fans make me laugh so much! Hunt got in the team of the season the season before last! He is still very young for a player but to say as a fan you wouldn't mind if he went is a stupid statement we need to try and keep players like him at the club as he has a lot of ability and can improve as a player. he could become a very good wing back in this 352 system we are playing! Just because a player isn't playing well you don't have to jump on it and say you'd be happy to see him go, get a grip and get behind the team not on top of them.
Well one thing for sure, I have just come back from watching our U21 side beat Leeds at our training complex and Hunt was not at first team training or in the players cantee at lunch time. Lots of comments that he is away with his agent trying to agree a deal. Time will tell but it looks like he could be moving.

MR said Lopez Hasn't had a pre-season his playing with reserves/development squad to get sharp and improve fitness
Lopez is still around, he is just gaining match sharpness and fitness, also with the three forwards infront of him its givin him time to do this. once fit and ready he will be back.

It is official that Cardiff City have agreed personal terms with Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson. the transfer is to around the region of £1m-£1.3m, not quite sure but I am dead certain that Cardiff and Mike Williamson have spoke and agreed terms and will hopefully be announced soon

Schelotto (Inter Milan) rumoured to have Fulham's interest. Powerful wide player - mixed reviews from Italy about him. Would cost approx £3-4m so well within Fulham's budget.
Crystal Palace also interested.
I have heard this too, however, we will have to compete against some big clubs.

Defo one of the best young backs in the championship, lightening fast on the break but needs a good winger to cover when he charges forward. Will also get better alongside better players.

Swansea fans should get ready for an exciting last week of the transfer window.
Out could go Luke Moore, Leroy Lita, Roland Lamah, Ki Seung Yeung.
In could come a winger, a striker and a defender.
Defenders being looked at are Jack Hunt (Huddersfield) and a possible return for Dwight Tiendalli.
Three posts in less than 24hrs that have mentioned Hunt?!
A winger only if Lamah leaves as rumoured unless that's laudrup plan with hunt.
Dwight plays same position as hunt so if there's truth in the defender (unless CB) must mean jazz is off on loan again (shame) and I'm excited to see who the other striker will be (hope it's Lukaku or the money is still there for Gomis who has decided he wants to play for the swans after all :-D )
Dreading any last minute big offers that would be foolish to refuse coming in. Just keeping my fingers crossed that they don't.
Hunt is a really good player if you use him correctly as a wing back and I'd be sorry to see him leave, but he does make far too many defensive errors which can lead to conceding
Sell Hunt and bring in Cyrus Christie, now that would be good business.
What are they going to look at? His picture! He can't get in the team!
I would welcome a return of Dwight Tiendalli because I never understood why we let him go. IMO he did a great job for us adapting our style very well. Great defender with good attacking abilities, good crosser and very comfortable with the ball. Hope to see him in the Swansea shirt again.

I'm wondering about this deal about Hunt, as I watched in training and he was far better than Hammill on the day, but going to the Millwall game he was sub. Possibly because the were negotiating a deal with the Swans I suppose, hence why Woods came back early and got game time. Although I have heard that Robins purposely benched Hunt as he thought 'screw em' towards Town as he knew there was interest from Swansea. -Anon.

West brom have signed vydra and sinclair on loan already so they can't sign anymore.
Vydra is on loan from a foreign club so doesn't count as one of the 2 you can have from the English leagues

Luke Moore's gone to Turkey mate, we shoulda gone in for Theo Robinson, he's scored in every game so far since joining Doncaster. We were in for James Vaughan before he went to Huddersfield permanently - he was always going to come good after injury, we just seem to always miss the boat

This is not going to happen but is the player we need Moses on the right and Hoilett and Defoe up front.
I think it is more likely that we will get Hoilett from QPR now that they have signed Fryatt from Blackpool. The concerns are that all the supposed limks we have with players and we are losing out to the WBA's Southamptons and Swansea 's of this world. We are more established than these clubs in the Premiership but I cannot think that it has been the reputation built up over this time that is having such an impact on our ability to sign players. Other than Arsenal we have been the least active so far in this transfer window.

West Brom looking to sign another winger confirmed by Steve Clarke in this morning's press conference. Reports suggest its between Victor Moses and Marko Arnautovic. Both can play as wingers and also replace Anelka if he decides to retire as another striker.
Moses would be a loan view to a permanent deal, Arnautovic would be a permanent deal that would cost around £2.5million.
We'll if that's the case it will be Moses West brom have stated they will not be pursuing Arnuatovic

Arsenal set sign ex Chelsea youngster Sam Bangura after scouts have come back with positive reports about the young versatile defender on his pre-season with Greek side Olympiakos who are also interested in the players signature nothing confirmed yet but arsenal are in talks with the young Sierra leonean and could be sign in the next few days, bangura was also linked with league one side walsall earlier this week.

Heard a lot of talk about a month back about Gary Madine signing for Brentford but then the rumours died down but I have heard that Rosler is lining him up as a replacement for Donaldson if a Championship club meets his release clause before deadline day
I would be very suprised if we sign Madine. Happy with Donaldson.
I'd have Madine, Donaldson been a bit off currently season.
I have heard this rumour from good sources at Griffin Park. Would rather keep Donaldson though (an in-form Donaldson, that is).

Nobody will be leaving at this moment in time the squad is the smallest squad I've known in my time as a boro supporter .
The 3 players need to go to help fund 2 strikers, attacking midfielder and a centre half that mogga is looking to bring in.
I very much doubt Mowbray is looking at the midfield area at all now. We look pretty comfortable with Ledesma, Haroun and Smallwood as cover for the 5 who have recently been playing. We'll be lucky to get a CB and CF in time before September. JM
Think becchio and ayala will both arrive before deadline. wouldn't be surprised to see matty bates offered a deal after the september deadline since he's on a free and would probably sign pay as you play. would be surprised to see anyone else leave except maybe hoyte. would like to see a pacier, more creative forward to play off juke/becchio, think the idea was for mccormack to fill the number 10 role so will be interesting to see if mogga has anyone else lined up. have heard vaz te's name mentioned - would be happy with him, apparently he took cameron park under his wing at barnsley and got a lot out of him in training - could be a good way to help cam get towards the first team (i have this on fairly good authority - I know his family).

On the in comings Blackburn have approached Dundee United in a 500,000 bid for Gary Mackay Steven.
