Liverpool
I've heard alot of rumours flying about of new investors with bags of money and big name players and even the self proclaimed 'special one' gracing anfield. Its a nice fantasy but lets get real. I know its not what liverpool fans want to hear (myself included) but the truth is that all these things take money which liverpool don't have. furthermore if we fail to qualify for the CL then that's 30m off an already stretched budget. The 'war chest' rafa was promised by the yanks will be used to make up this shortfall leaving rafa having to sell in order to buy. the problem with this is that he won't be able to move for his top summer targets as he won't have the guarentee of the cash until his own sales go through (leaving them to be snatched up by other clubs). As for the 'special one' well he isn't gonna be interested in taking charge at a skint club with two cowboys in charge besides rafa is too stubborn to quit and they can't afford to cancel his contract.

its not all bad news though. i mean we won't be buying David villa etc but at least we will keep hold of torres (for next season at least). The only light at the end of the tunnel is if the middle eastern company come back in, although i very much doubt they will pay what those greedy yanks are askin

Lets be realistic eh! hope for the best – prepare for the worst YNWA

I can tell you Modric & his agent met Man Utd representatives in january. Was unlikely to happen at the time as he was injured but more likely in the summer. Not a rumour, this actually happened. Great player but not convinced he's right fo us. Defour, Diego Ribas, Veloso, Di Maria, Moutinho, Da Costa, Silva, Rakitic and Krasic also being looked at.

THFC,
player coming in

RICHARDS, feels that under HARRY he will come on leaps and bounds
BELLAMY, nearly joined b4 he joined CITY but was offered stupid money! now he knows money is not everything and now wants to join SPURS
PARKER (should have joined in jan now will complete in the summer/ also a self confessed SPURS fan)
DORRINS deal 60% done player wants to join and learn from HARRY?

possible,

ARTETA thinks that a move to LONDON would enhance his chances of playing for his native country, the player thinks that SPURS best suit his style? although it will take a lot for him to leave EVERTON as he is very happy??

FOR the 8th time LIVERPOOL have no chance of signing GARETH BALE his insults towards the area , fans and the club of LIVERPOOL should clearly show even to the most brain dead of fan that he will not be going

JOE COLE, if he leaves CHELSEA then the destination could well be ARSENAL? JOE is very much a LONDON lad and wants to remain so

ASHLEY YOUNG & JAMES MILNER will be staying at VILLA PARK no move for those two AGBONLAHOR however is being watched by ARSENAL and LIVERPOOL hence the speculation linking ROBBIE KEANE to VILLA with SPURS keen to sell.

DAVID VILLA again will not be going to LIVERPOOL, he may well not ask for a lot in wages but his club VALENCIA will ask for as much as they can get in means of transfer money thus blowing LIVERPOOL out of the water once again this the reason LIVERPOOL will go for AGBONLAHOR

one last thing MODRIC, LENNON, BALE DEFOE and PALACIOS will not be moving nor will GOMES or DAWSON, KING will NOT retire and SPURS will not be buying FOSTER

all above as true as you can be at this time of the year

I have been talking to some people in the know at Liverpool this week. The situation between the owners and manager has not yet been resolved. It is true that Mr Benitez will be entitled to around £15 million if he is sacked by the club, however if the club do not qualify for the European Champions league they will lose over £30 million. This is the matter which is troubling the American owners.
They are also worried that by not being in the top competition in Europe they will not attract investors. Another problem which has arisen is that the manager has a good transfer fund of over £20 million but is having problems recruiting the talent that a great club like Liverpool require to take them on to the next level. Arda Turan & Simon Kjaer are two names that were mentioned to me earlier in the season but due to the chances of Liverpool qualifying for the Champions League their representatives have been sounding out Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham. The deal with Milan Jovanovic will only be completed if Liverpool qualifies for the champions league.
The final problem is the debt which is crippling the club. In June approximately £150 million will have to be repaid to the RBS. The people I spoke to were worried not just for the jobs but also for the future of Liverpool. I was told that the club has done a full assets analysis and come to the conclusion that at least four of the 1st team squad will have to be sold.
I know the fans on your website will say the players of the calibre of Torres and Gerrard will never leave but they are an asset of the club and not free agents. By staying they causing further financial meltdown. I was told that Everton was in the same situation when they had to sell Rooney.
There is no knight in shining armour on the horizon to help Liverpool. The likely investors are asset grabbers that will sell everything for a quick profit.
I know this will get allot of flack from the Liverpool fans but I think they need to be aware of the consequences of not qualifying for the champions league. Good luck I hope they can do it.

Some arsenal fans on this site are making crazy predictions regarding arrivals and departures of players. we will NOT sign higuain, van der Vaart, G Cahill etc. a number of players such as denilson have been predicted to leave. this is NONSENSE. the number of players who have signed new contracts during the course of this current season has gone into double figures. further, plenty of you say the likes of gallas, silvestre and senderos will be leaving for a few million each. Again NONSENSE. senderos, silvestre, gallas, campbell and merida are out of contract in the summer, meaning they would leave for free. im backing gallas to stay and for campbell to be retained for another season. merida will also leave because his first team opportunities will continue to be minimal at arsenal. senderos and silvestre will go for sure. fabianski will also leave. almunia will stay, he has proved his worth to arsenal this season.
eduardo may be sent out on loan, as might vela. kerrea gilbert will be released. arsenal will apply for a work permit for new signing Galindo. mannone will be sent out on loan. he and szczesny will be arsenal's long term keepers in 3 years time.
sagna, clichy, diaby, bendtner and rosicky will all stay.
coming in is Chamakh, which everybody knows. jay simpson will be sold to QPR. also, 2 CB will come in. Savic will NOT be one of them, as he was average during his trial in December 1999. Wenger would like to sign Subotic but knows he will be priced out of a move for him. instead, van der Wiel has taken pole position, with one of Sakho, Zapata and Chiellini also to be signed. if sakho comes in, armand traore may be sacrificed in part exchange.
a GK will come in, but it is unlikely to be Green, who has been average this season. instead, hugo lloris and manuel neuer have been pinpointed as prime targets.
Melo is still an arsenal target. Wenger hopes he will follow in the vein of Gilberto and Denilson at the club. anybody elso who arrives will be youngsters for the future.

recap: out: silvestre free, senderos free, merida free, fabianski 3m, simpson 3m, gilbert free, eduardo loan, vela loan, wilshere loan, traore p/e.

in: lloris 8m, vdWiel 9m, sakho 5m+traore, melo 10m, chamakh free.

I heard Villa would consider a move to liverpool too. maybe riera could go the other way? keep me posted mate

23 Mar 2010 17:15:27
Arsene Wenger is watching Lens' African midfielder Juste Abou with a view to signing the 16 year old for around 750,000. Some impressive pereformances in the reserves have see the lad win plaudits from the likes of Michelle Platini and Gerrard Houllier, both of whom Arsene trusts.

23 Mar 2010 16:33:49
Gerrard, Torres going no where. If you read proper paper istead of the beno papers like the sun you might learn facts.David Villa to sign for liverpool after the work cup.He said in a statment yesterday that he will not go to a club just because of crazy wages.Money isn't an issue with him and wants to play with Torres at Liverpool.Watch this space. and im a man utd fan

23 Mar 2010 15:46:39
Earlier I gave you the news that Shorey will be returning to Forest before the end of the loan window. Well they say things come in three's, I have more good news for Forest fans and a bit of bad news(for some)

Forest will also bring in Fabien Delph from Villa for the res of the season. Robert Earnshaw will play his last game in a Forest shirt tonight. I am glad because I don't like Earnshaw much and the coaching staff and players don't get on very well with him. Newcastle want him as a replacement for Carroll who is expected to be suspended by the club following his bust up with Taylor. Earnshaw will join on loan for an initial 500k and a further 2 million in the summer. I know it may seem a bit far fetched but I DO have inside contacts and DO always get the pending transfers to Forest right. Remember who told you that Camp, Lynch, Blackstock, McKenna, Majewski, McGoldrick & Adebola would all sign long before it was public knowledge. It was me and bangertree.

23 Mar 2010 15:36:50
Once again as a very close pal of jack rodwell, he is going nowhere. 100%. He may leave in the future but he is talking to everton about a new contract now an he doesn't want to leave as he sees everton challenging for the top 4 next year, once again he is not leaving in the summer and will sign a long contract as will pienaar, gosling, coleman, fellaini and anichebe. Arteta and cahill are being given pay rises and an extension to their contracts also.

23 Mar 2010 15:28:17

23 Mar 2010 15:18:53
I have herd from someone well placed at pride park that nigel clough will be replaced by robbie savage in the summer. sav is very intrested in becoming a player/ manager, expect to see stevie clarridge on the dream ticket
derby will contine to give up to 9, 000 free tickets to local sports clubs ect next yr as the american owner think it is good pr and beter than having a half empty soleless pride park to play in

23 Mar 2010 14:59:40
Anyone got any doncaster rovers rumours, Billy Sharp, If sean o'driscoll is leaving for wolves?? please!

23 Mar 2010 14:56:00
Liverpool
Riera will defo. be out this summer making Rafa a profit of approx. 12m on sales this season following the departures of Voronin & Dossena, add that to the promised warchest and expect a big overhaul this summer similar to what happened when Bayern Munich went off the boil in 06.
Outs..NEMETH, KUYT, RIERA, EL ZHAR, AURELIO, DEGEN, KYGIAKOS & ITANDJE
Ins..
Arda Turan & Simon Kjaer both look certain to sign after publicy declaring their aspirations, Stephen Ireland looks like a promising rumour after falling out of favour with Mancini. Taye Taiwo, Gareth Bale or Nadir Belhadj will be signed to succeed Aurelio as Insua still isn't quite there. The big signing of the summer will be either Juan Mata of Valencia or James Milner of Aston Villa respectively. Gonzalo Higuain is looking more a viable option aswell now, but with Chelsea & City ready to splash the cash we could be outpriced.

Hartlepools James 'i feel good' Brown off to Boro this summer

23 Mar 2010 13:48:53
35 to 40million for David Villa is a large amount for a 29 year old but if a bidding war does happen it may drive the price up to somewhere around that figure. especially with valencia looking like making the champions league next year.

As for torres, if he is to leave liverpool in the summer then the club are gonna want at least the same bids that came in last year (60m from chelsea) but with his stop start season due to injury i doubt anyone except man city would pay that.

23 Mar 2010 13:49:05
United –
LEFT WING: For those of you who think United will buy Da Silva or another foreign LW. Think about a world class player already in the league who Fergie has consistently rated as world class and to whom he stated could walk into any team in the world. Plus he's cheaper – Luka Modric anybody? 12–18 Million?

Owen: May stay for another little while, if not expect him to end his career with Everton. Fergie and Moyes have great transfer history and respect.

Jack Rodwell: Another great future United player (Owen may be used as leverage).

Foster: Off to Spurs

Berbatov: If an offer comes in Fergie will most likely let him go.

Striker: No way would Fergie spend 40 million of Villa when he's already 29.
A smarter move would probably be for Higuain, likelihood is he's leaving Madrid and he could be transfer of the season for us.

The BIG transfer of the summer will be David Villa. I don't know where he is going but im sure there will be a huge bidding war for him. With the price set around 40m its only gonna be between 3 teams in my opinion – real, united and chelsea.

My bet – man united (im not a united fan so not biased.)

I HAVE HEARD UNITED'S MAIN TARGET IS DAVID SILVA, HE MAY BE BOUGHT FOR A MERE 15–20M, UNITED WILL PAY NO MORE THAN 25M FOR DAVID VILLA, IS AGE BEING THE MAIN CONCERN! 40M IS A RIDICULOUS PRICE FOR A 29 YEAR OLD!

ANON

I am not sure I shold post anymore with all the abuse I get on other forums but I like it here. Forest fans may get a fantastic gift before the window closes..Shorey no longer needed at Fulham and he cannot go anywhere else on loan but we are one of the 3 clubs he has played for this season. GET MY DRIFT..? OLDJOM OPTIMIST TO THE STARS.

Southend United already under a transfer embargo are about to lose 2 of their loan players with Scott Vernon and Pat Baldwin about to be recalled by Colchester United to aid their fight for a play–off spot. Another reason for this recall is money owed by SUFC to CUFC as part of the loan deal and a previous loan deal between the two clubs earlier in the season. The debt owed by SUFC is around £15, 000 and CUFC may pursue this in the courts.

Albert Riera (Liverpool – Spartak Moscow)
Steven Defour (Standard – Man Utd)
Joe Cole (Chelsea – Man Utd)
Jack Rodwell (Everton – Man Utd)
Chris Smalling (Fulham – Man Utd)
Ashley Young (Villa – Man Utd)
Ben Foster (Man Utd – Tottenham)
Nani (Man Utd – Fiorentina)
Anderson (Man Utd – Lyon)
Nadir Belhadj (Portsmouth – Tottenham)
Benoit Assou–Ekotto (Tottenham – Marseille)

This is utter rubbish. You have already listed some transfers that have already happened (Sterling and Smalling). Secondly, Aleksander Kolarov plays for Lazio and not Fiorentina. Albert Riera will sign for CSKA Moscow and not Spartak Moscow. Deco IS leaving, but not to Porto, He's going home to Brazil..He's already said this. Michael Ballack is on the verge of agreeing another contract extension so he won't be moving. Chelsea have no interest in the Fiorentina gem Riccardo Montolovio, which is unfortunate as he has an excellent pass and could split defences open. Lukaku will also sign for Chelsea and not their neighbours Arsenal.

Thanks

23 Mar 2010 01:27:46
Bolton will NOT be selling Gary Cahill for some of the ridiculous amounts mentioned here £5 to 7 million. he was brought for £5million and now could fetch up to £20Million or more in 1 or 2 seasons ..So Gary Cahill going to Everton etc for £7million is aload of rubbish.

As for Mourinho getting paid £1Million a month by Man city .. are you playing Football Manager?? Mourinho would like to manage in Manchester but his preferred choice is Man Utd not Man City..

David Villa to Manchester United for 40million..

23 Mar 2010 08:51:11
It's been well known at Chelsea for some time that Abramovich and Mourinho had buried the hatchet a long time ago and are in fact on very good terms and in regular contact. Hence the "Special One's" return will be to Chelsea and not Man City or Liverpool (unfortunately as a Reds fan). However this does not bode well for the future of Captain John Terry who Mourinho blamed for his original exit.

23 Mar 2010 09:04:33
This should not surprise anyone but Rafa Benitez's agent has been speaking to several top clubs. Rafa himself would like to stay but realises it may be untennable if the club fail to get 4th place. The owners will not sack him due to the cost but would happily facilitate any move. Real Madrid, Juventus and AC Milan are all in discussions with the agent. Jose Maurinho's people have had discreet discussions with Liverpool. Maurinho would love to manage the great club but only if he has the financial backing to regain former glories.

Man City are to make Jose Mourinho the first £1m a month manager and a bottomless pit for any player he wants in the summer. He is set to sign a 5 year deal with City which will see Mancini take the Juventus job. City have had this in mind since the start of the season Mancini has always known that his job was to deliver champs league football this season and agreed to keep the seat warm for the special one this is why Mancini has never moved his family to Manchester. Man City will now look to rule and conquer and why can't they? they'll have all the money in the world and the best Manager in the world.
This will now see the likes of
Higuain
Gago
Di Maria
Joe Cole
Torres
Gerrard
Maicon
Vidic
Villa
and anyone else Jose wants to join the club in a City spending spree touching £500m in the summer and go on to win every competition he enters with Man City.
