Micah Richards is set to join chelsea in January for around £11m. Jose was already tempted by the player and has been watching him since last season, was urged to bid for him by arjen Robben. Expect Richards arrival to spell the end of Paolo Ferriera's chelsea career.

Anderson will join Chelsea this summer in a £16m move. the forward has signed a pre contract agreement. anderson, of FC porto, was also being chased by Real madrid and AC Milan. The capture of anderson has meant that the scouting of Torres has been put on hold, also due to the monotoring of the schevchenko situation who is considering a move back to milan.

Luque has struggled on Tyneside following injury and loss of form, and is now desperate for a return to La Liga. Zaragoza will place a bid of £3m, but Newcastle will only accept a mass loss if they could land first refusal on defender Gabriel Milito if the Argentine decides to leave.The rumours that David Villa will be joining Chelsea from Valencia are slighty out out context, with Andrei Shevchenko starting to hit some form whilst playing up front with Drogba. If Sheva was to leave stamford bridge, which is very unlikely, then the move for Spain striker Villa would become more likely but he himself is not interested in leaving Valencia at the moment.
Other players leaving Chelsea next year will be the likes of Shaun Wright-Phillips who will be the subject of a £10 million bid from West Ham. SWP has been frustrated at the lack of first team opportunities and will look to move on in the near future. The same can be said for Dutch winger Arjen Robben who will be sold for around £10 million pounds to either Milan or Inter. Another player leaving the bridge will be Khalid Boulahrouz who has had a bad start to his Chelsea career and will look to move back to Hamburg in Germany.
There will be a clearout at Liverpool with Rafa Benitez looking to freshen the team up so they can challenge for silverware next year. The likes of Jermaine Pennant, Craig Bellamy and Mark Gonzalez will be sold, as they have not been showing Premiership class so far in their Anfield careers and Rafa wants to introduce some real talent. As for players coming in to Liverpool, Micah Richards should arrive from Manchester City for around £7-10 million, as Steve Finnan does not really appear in Rafa's plans. Another player possibly arriving from City is Joey Barton who could provide cover for Gerrard and Xabi Alonso in the center of midfield. The talk of Gabriel Agbonlahor arriving from Villa is not at all true as he needs Premiership experience and is currently settling in very well under Martin O'Neill. Also expect to see Rafa move for a top striker to play alongside Dirk Kuyt who will be the top striker next season. Some possible candidates to move in are the likes of David Trezeguet from Juventus, Julio Cruz from Inter or Luis Fabiano from Sevilla.After last nights win over Man U which saw Celtic into the last 16 Gordon Strachan knows he must strengthen certain areas. Bobo Balde proved once and for all he is no use in the big games, so expect seasoned center back to come in to help McManus/Caldwell and Kennedy - Russell Anderson or Arjan De Zeeuw of Wigan will come in - Also in center midfield Lennon and Gravesen won't last another season in top flight so a double bid of around 3 million for Brown and Thomson of Hibs is a certaren'ty (both were at Celtic Park for Man U game as guests of their agent Willie McKay and sat in the directors box. Maloney may also leave as talks are not progressing, but this will enable Derek Riordan to stake a claim for firdt team.
