Newcastle will definetly sign a chelsea defender this week even if chelsea dont sign ashley cole. However it wont be wayne Bridge as everyone is talking about it will be Robert Huth. The deal is nearly done.

Liverpool won't be signing anymore players, even after getting 15 million for qualifying for the group stages of the european cup. Instead this money will be put away for the new stadium. Some players will leave, Diao,martin(loan) and pongolle(loan). Harry kewell will leave because riise and warnock are out injured and speedy picked up a knock in kiev.

Reading will sign River Plate striker Ernesto Farias for £3m. The Argentine striker wants to move to Europe and preferrebly the Premier League and Reading are the only English side to show interest.

Martins to sign Wednesday night and shown to the public Thursday.
2nd signing will be another striker (despite people saying they won't after Martins) this will be Nugent from Preston.
Wayne Bridge will sign at the weekend (at which point Cole will go to Chelsea)
Graveson deal almost complete and will also be shown to the public before this weekend.
There is also one more to come, now from what I hear FS will try to get Woodgate back but failing this will go for Huth from Chelsea.
Shaun Wright-Phillips may also come on a loan deal which the guarnatee NUFC buy him next summer for 12 million (this deal will be done last day of the transfer window depending on the fitness update of Joe Cole).
Reading set to sign Betis defender Juanito for £3m. The out of favour Spaniard handed in a transfer request and Reading made their move. The Royals could also take want-away striker Ricardo Oliveira as part of the deal for an extra £1m.
Oliveira returned from Brazil 9 days late and was fined a massive 1 million Euros.
Fulham midfielder Steed Malbranque will sign for Reading along with Danny Mills and Ulises De La Cruz. Malbranque will join for a cut price £1.5m on a 3-year-deal, Mills will join for £750k on a two-year-deal and De La Cruz will sign on a free on a one-year-contract.
Reading will up their bid for Leeds defender Matty Kilgallon. The Royals had a £1m bid rejected but are set to table a new £3m bid.
However, Ken Bates looks relucantant to sell, claiming that Kilgallon is 'the natural successor to John Terry as England captain'.
Steve Sidwell's move to Charlton has been put on hold after the Reading Midfielder demanded more money from Charlton.
Werder Bremen's out of favour striker Ivan Klasnic has emerged as a target for Reading. The Royals made a £4m bid, after their hopes of signing Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink were slashed.
Reading set to sign Latvian striker Maris Verpakovskis from Dinamo Kiev. The 26-year-old flew in to Reading for talks over the Weekend and will probably sign in time for Reading's trip to Wigan on Saturday.

I herd yesterday from a friend who works out in Spain that Barcelona are interested in Owen Hargreeves aswell as Man Utd. Apparently they want to sure up their defensive options.

Wenger seems keen to buy a defender that can play left back and centre back as that is an area we need to strengthen. Gallas is an option but even though Wenger has made a seperate bid for him I think it depends on Cole's move to Chelsea. Another option seems to be Chivu or Shilla Illiasu (who's currently on trail with us ) or even Mexes but I think thats a unlikely option. A centre midfielder may be brought to take heat off Gilberto and Fabregas, I have heard that it could be Gago, a young player from Boca. Reyes will not be leaving as Wenger has confirmed that his dream move will stay a dream, not sure on Cole, it looks increasingly likely that hes going to stay but i'd stay it's 50/50.
Next Season or transfer window Wenger will move for a young goalkeeper as Lehmann has already announced that he would like to go to Germany and finish his career there.

Corinthians will be tabled an offer of between 20 and 35 mln EUROS for Carlos Tevez not from ManU but instead from Aston Villa. It will happen within the next 48 hours. Guaranteed.
I've heard that 3 of europes major clubs are monitoring Shaun Maloney's contract situation at Celtic, I'm pretty sure two of these teams are AC Milan and Arsenal so I hope that from a Celtic point of view he signs a new long term deal at parkhead.
Nigel Worthington will leave Norwich City before the end of the transfer window, apparently he has another job lined up. He is going to take 1 or 2 of his favorite Norwich players with him, including Andy Hughes and Gary Doherty.
Norwich do not have sufficient funds to bring in a "big name" manager and will be content to promote Hunter from first team coach to manager.
As a consequence of this Norwich will not make any other signings before the transfer window closes and will be required on making one or two loan signings to keep them going until January

Have heard the following rumours from a good source. I'm not going to say that I'm the kit managers son or something because i'm not, all im doing is passing on some information which i have recently become privy to. anyway the rumours are as follows: -
1)Leon McKenzie will have a change of heart and decide to stay at the club - mainly because no one has come in for him since the Coventry bids (now they've snapped up Kyle from Sunderland).
2)Karl Hawley will sign on a three year deal with a further one year option from Carlisle for an initial fee of £600 000.
3)Jimmy Walker will join on a season long loan from West Ham - with the option to sign him permanently in January if everything goes to plan.
4)Kevin O'Connor will sign on a four year deal from League One side Brentford for £500 000.
