To the guy that said:

"I have close relations with a member on the Liverpool board and have been told that a deal for one of Germanys euro 08 stars is practically done. he did not name names but it will be annonced after the tournament"

This is a really good call, the player in question is Bastian Schweinstieger from Bayern Munich. Benitez' first choice was Bentley but now with his transfer fee rocketing and being on a limited budget Schweinstieger will be bought for around £10 million

At Chelsea Big Phil is about to commence his shopping spree, his first two purchases will be familiar ones (to him) in Deco from FC Barcelona and Robinho from Real Madrid (as RM confident of landing Ronaldo). This will have the vultures circling around the Bridge, Wright–Philips will leave for one of Villa, Newcastle, Portmouth or a surprise return to Manchester City. Liverpool will use the opportunity to make a cheeky bid of around £8 million for Joe Cole – this is likely to fail. Although Frank Lampard would jump at the chance to join FC Barcelona due to a lack of interest there he will hang onto Mourinho's coat tails and join Inter.

  Stoke sign Wayne Routledge

Further revelations to come from Newcastle over the next few months as to how little they have in the kitty to bring in quality players. Plus the coming legal battle to finish Joey Bartons contract which will drag on for months.

Expect at least eight players to leave with only five coming in due to the lack of cash

Birmingham City – Sebastian Larsson has told Alex McLeish that he wants to continue playing in the Premier League, he has a Clause in his contract allowing him to leave if BC were relegated and a certain fee is matched. McLeish wants to retain his best players to aid a return to the top–flight at the first attempt but he is a little powerless; as a result BC have been touting Larsson to a number of Premier League teams for a season–long loan deal – namely Stoke, Hull City, Wigan and Bolton so far – whether this will satisfy the player remains to be seen.

Moving away from that, players on their way to Arsenal are:

Nasri £16 million

Ben Arfa £11 million

Arshavin £15 million

Out

Adebayor – Milan £27 million

Hleb – FC Barcelona £15 million

Hoyte – Villa £2 million

Eboue – Swap deal for a set of socket spanners

Rafa Benitez is set for a show down with his American employers after it emerged that his transfer budget has been removed completely. It transpires that Rafa must sell the dead wood at the club and use those proceeds to enter the market. All money at the club is now earmarked for the Stadium project which, it is hoped, will begin shortly. Hicks in particular sees that it is irrelevant at the moment what the club does on the pitch since the new stadium is where the money will be made.

Ok, I'll start off by saying all this is 100 percent genuine.

Scolari has unofficially started his work today and the assessment of the squad began some weeks ago.

Players departing will be;

Ben Haim, Sidwell (to Villa to be completed within the next few days), Pizzarro (has some German interest), Malouda, Shevchenko, Anelka, Bridge, Belletti, Wright Phillips and Lampard.

They've estimated a figure in the region of £50 million + will be obtained through those sales.

The only player currently guaranteed to come in is Deco who will sign by Friday.

Chelsea are working on deals for Villa, Eto'o and Ronaldinho. They will only pursue one of either Villa or Eto'o, both have been sounded out in case the other falls through. If both falls through they will look at Gomez, though that is very much on the back burner.

Ribery, despite his injury, has also been contacted. Chelsea want three to four signings and according to my source they want them to be 'top quality, mind blowing signings'.

The source also added there may be a surprise IF they can pull it off, apparently a very highly rated young player who's currently playing in La Liga has been contacted and is seriously considering the offer, his club however do not want to listen to offers.

In my opinion Chelsea will bring in this Summer Ronaldinho, Villa, Ribery and Deco.

My source seemed extremely confident on a good percentage of those with a lot of them already in the negotiations period the surprise signing was very much a 50–50 thing at the moment.

Arda Turan to Arsenal is a done deal. Reliable source in Turkey has told me. TRUST me

From a very reliable source– transfer merry–go–round

C. Ronaldo – Real Mardrid (35 million + Robinho)

Santa Cruz – Man United ( £7.5 million + Saha)

Lahm – Man United – 14 mil

Cisse – Blackburn (7 million)

Hleb – FC Barcelona (8 million + Yaya Toure)

Nasri – Arsenal (14 mil) – nearly done deal

Silva – Arsenal (19 mil)

Bentdner – Roma (6.5 mil)

Kompany – Arsenal (11 million)

Bentley– Liverpool (15 million)

Alonso – Juve (13.5 million)

Bennayoun – Tottenham (6 million)

Berbatov – Liverpool (21 million)

One final one which is a dead cert. Andy Johnson is joining Aston Villa for £9 million – expect Everton to replace him with Ebanks–Blake (4.5 million) and Gomis (10 million)

John Barnes will be annouonced as the manager of MK Dons soon.

I was very shocked today walking past Upton Park to see Andy Johnson and some fat bloke walking around the Stadium outside, I knew it was Johnson so stood for a while, then watched him walk into Upton Park through the front entrance. Do not know anything about fee or anything, I a just reporting what I saw with my eyes.

As Donadoni has now left, expect Italy to go for a shock move for England gaffer Fabio Capello. Howver, Roberto Mancini and Davide Ballardini are also in contention.

I have a source inside the Hammers, well actually it is Roger Cross chief scout. Anyway he told me today him and Curbs and Nani have all been discussing transfers and they have a few in the pipeline.

Firstly will be Antonio Di Natale, who will arrive at Upton Park tommorow for contract talks.

Secondly will be Nicky Shorey who they are going to have talks with on Friday after agreeing a fee today.

Another signing is going to be Russian forward Paluychenko when they are out of the competition.

There last signing of the Summer will be James Harper or Bastian Schewingstiger, depends how much and how willing the Chairman is to give Curbs money.

Hernan Pellerano has nearly signed for Bolton. baros or Elmander will sign also soon.

The Hammers have just made a bid for Arshavin of 11 million, unlikely to come off but Curbs has made an attempt to sign him.

Aston Villa are in talks with Peter Crouch after Liverpool accepted a bid of £10.5 million.

Sidwell is also close for Villa.

Portsmouth have signed Nobby Solano, and in talks with Aaron Lennon, but also are the Hammers and it was reported by another source that he was in the East London Area last night.

Liverpool will sign Samuel Eto'o or David Villa, Villa the priority for Rafa.

Hearts owner Vladamir Romanov has been constructing a list of signing targets to be completed in the next week to 10 days. These names include Mark Reynolds, Garry O'Connor, Jonathan Douglas, Darren Fletcher (loan), Matthias Doumbe and Chris Clark

Just heard that Damien Francis is going to make a surprise return to NCfc as cover for Russel who is having a medical at West Bromwich Albion tomorrow.

Man United to keep Ronaldo on a wage rise, and he will stay for at least another few seasons. To sign with the transfer kitty that the Glazers have promised SAF, Van Der Vaart – £17 million, Huntelaar for £15 million, and finally Pepe for £17 million.

Sold will be Silvestre, Saha, and Fletcher, for a total of £20 million.

Total Expenditure= £29 million.

This gives us a stable squad to build on the Champions League Success. Also, Tevez deal unable to go through, so they will sign him on loan again until it gets sorted.

Finally to all you other supporters, you look at the Man United squad. They average at 23 years old. Remember, a developing squad became the best club in Europe. Wait until everyone reaches their peak. Your in for some serious trouble.

Peace

Gareth barry will be arriving at Liverpool for £16 million but will drag out for a couple of weeks yet

David Silva and David Villa have both agreed to join Liverpool fee to be arranged but somewhere near 40 mill

expect a few youngsters to arrive as well to add to are allready growing youth team

outs will be Alonso £15 million to Juve//Crouch £9 million to Portsmouth//+ some fringe players ie Le Tallec/guthrie/itandge

believe it or not but these will be sorted by end of July

Kevin Phillips to sign for Blackpool by the end of the week.

To the guy who suggests Gerrard to Chelsea$ki for Didier Drogba, you are nuts. There is no chance of Gerrard or indeed any LFC player signing for Chelsea$ki this Summer. My sources in Spain assure me that David Silva (source is not sure of the fee, but it's thought to be circa 15–18 million) will sign for LFC and David Villa (circa £22 million) has already agreed a move to Anfield. LFC's chief scout Eduardo Macia was instrumental in bringing Silva on when he broke through in Spain and has already had contact with both players agents. None of the Spanish players are allowed to talk about transfers while the side is involved in the Euros, expect confirmation from all parties about a week after Spain either wins or is eliminated from the competition.
