I then came across a lease that had Ibrahimovic's signature on it. Which must mean he is joining Man City. I have no idea about the contract or transfer fee but this is a good sign to all Man City and Ibrahimovic fans.

Two unnamed Spanish stars are going to St Andrews (Birmingham) they are having a tour around the stadium and training facilities over the next few days. The Marseilles President Jean–Claude Dassier has said today that a deal with Newcastle has now been agreed.
The French club have agreed to loan out the French international, now that an additional clause the French club wanted in the contract – to make the deal permanent should he play more than 25 matches – has been agreed to by the Newcastle club.

Nottingham Forest will sign Cardiffs Peter Whittingham by the end of the transfer window as Cardiff now opt to sell so they don't let him leave on a free transfer when his current contract runs out at the end of the season.
Nottingham Forest are also still trying to sign swansea midfielder Darren Pratley but this deal is less likely even though Pratley also has underlined his wishes to leave by reiecting a new contract offer.

MAN UTD will not sign Defour THIS window. He had a career threatening leg break, and is still recovering. On the 6th of August he still wasn't training yet. UTD won't sign someone who might still have long term physical or psychological issues to replace Hargreaves, who has long term physical and psychological issues.
IF Fergie bids for him, it will be in Jan or next summer. I don't care what 'The Mirror' says.

Seems strange that he wasn't even back in training on the 6th August when he's played in Liege's four opening league games, scoring in 2 of them, the first of which was at the end of July.
I'd say after playing four games in three weeks and being in decent form, he is approaching a good level of fitness again, I'm not saying a bid will be made, but I'm saying you're wrong.

The real reason Ben Arfa is not signing for newcastle is that he wants 80k a week and MA will not be held to randsom. Instead Hughton will turn his attention to Man City for Boyata and Possibly Santnav Cruz(depends on how strong Lazio interest is as we can't compete with them). There is also work that Hughton has sent Beardsley to have a look at Shelvey from liverpool as a back up to first team as he will get more of a shout playing at SJP that the Kop.
Other that that Hughton will not dive into the market anymore he has been impressed with how Williamson and Carroll have stepped up to the tast and he will develop players like Vuckic, Donaldson, Ranger, Lua Lua etc
