Hart, Green, Richards, Ireland & Bellamy are all homegrown, they will be priced closer to the 15m mark, if not more, that is not being ridiculous, that is being realistic, so Arsenal may buy these players but you will have to add on another 10m to your estimates in future typing!

Defour, Rodwell & De Gea are all being tracked by both Arsenal & Manchester United!

26 Feb 2010 16:59:31

ARSENAL
The rumours amuse me! The outgoings are likely to be Senderos, Sylvestre & Campbell, as their contracts are unlikely to be renewed. Possibly Gallas as well, if agreement on the length of his new contact can't be agreed. Some fringe players out on loan will also be allowed to leave
It looks like Chamakh has chosen Arsenal. With 2 or 3 centre backs likely to depart I would expect Arsenal to sign at least one player in this department possibly two, as we will only have Vermaelen & Djourou for certain, although I hope Gallas remains for another season. Other signings will depend on any sales.
Next season our main squad should be as follows:
Keepers: Almunia, Fabianski & Manone
Full backs: Sagna, Eboue, Clichy, Traore & Gibbs
Centre backs: Vermaelen, Djourou, Gallas? & one/two new signings
Wide midfield: Rosicky, Nasri, Wallcott, Wilshere.
Central midfield: Fabregas, Song, Ramsey, Abu Diaby & Denilson
Forwards: Arshavin, Van Persie, Eduardo, Bentner, Chamakh & Vela

This is a nucleous of 27 players, look for one or two young players being brough into the 1st team squad as well.
To conclude there will be a total of 3 or 4 signings at most. Including Chamakh & one centre back for certain.

Next Seasons Arsenal Squad

RB – Gregory Van Der Wiel (7m)/Emmanuel Eboue
LB – Mahamdou Sakho (8.5m)/Kieran Gibbs
CB – William Gallas/Sol Campbell
CB – Thomas Vermaelen/Johan Djourou
CM – Moussa Sissoko (8m)/Samir Nasri
CM – Alex Song/Abou Diaby
CM – Cesc Fabregas/Aaron Ramsey
RW – Robin Van Persie/Theo Walcott
LW – Andrei Arshavin/Tomas Rosicky/Jack Wilshere
ST – Marouane Chamakh (Free)/Niklas Bendtner/Carlos Vela

OK Guys, this is getting a bit ridiculous! Seen several stupid posts of late about AFC. Your speculation (and lets face it that's exactly what it is!) falls somewhat short. For starters – Joe Hart. £5m? Really? Man City, the richest club in the world. Do they really need to sell him at all knowing that Given doesn't have time on his side. Another season on loan maybe and it will be to Birmingham. Arsenal would only take him on a permanent deal and that would see the bidding starting at a minimum £8m. He's a young lad with bags of potential, but more importantly he's English. Given the homegrown ruling, this will only push his price up further. Rob Green is more likely, will be alot cheaper and has the experience Wenger will be looking for. Hugo Lloris is his first choice but he's likely to be expensive. Van Der Wiel – highly likely as he is comfortable at CB and RB (potentially great partnership with Vermaelen). Sagna's form has not been so impressive this season so this could be a goer depending on price of course. Sakho – not a LB, more a CB and that's where he'd want him to play. LB is not a problem area unless we sell Clichy to Real. Gibbs will push for a first team place next season. His height would certainly be an advantage over Clichy. As for Eduardo being sold – doubtful. He's likely to go out on loan if Chamakh arrives. Providing he regains his confidence and form then he'll be back in 2011/12 (or sold on for profit). Van Persie will want to play through the middle when he returns and not on the right. He proved that its his strongest position and will be eager to prove he's very much top dog. A central midfielder that can tackle will be priority no.1. Song needs back up – look how much we missed him in January. Should Sunderland wave bye bye to the Premiership, Lorik Cana could be one AW goes for (at fraction of the price he was looking at last summer!). Please stop the bullsht! We all know AW doesn't go out and blow £80 every summer. He has more money this year than the last few, but as per usual it will be sense and sensibility rather than the 'look at my wad' approach so favoured by City & Chelsea!

You are an idiot mate.If you count there are 12 new players on your list for next season. you clearly can't be an arsenal fan cause you clearly havent watched Arsenal over the last 10 years. Tell me whats the maximum amount of players they have ever bought in one season??
Not onyl that the above list of players would cost over £100million. Are you delusional enough to think you have that kind of funds to spend?

Another victim of champ manager. Get a grip
REAL RUMOURS:

Chelsea – Cole will leave to spain
Man U – Rodwell is a possibility. Expect one of Defour/Gourcuff and a GK? De Lea?
LFC – Maybe Mata if they get funds? If not Jovanovic will be the only one.
Arsenal – Carlton Cole, Gignac, Chamack 1 of the 3

McGregor will not play for Rangers again. His Ibrox career is over. Alexander will be between the sticks for the remainder of the season.

The rumours I have heard are because of the court case and not what happened last Saturday night. Shagger from what I have heard will never ply for us again.

Likely signings of Summer 2010 Chelsea:

GK: Akinfeev (not likely now, when Cech goes though)

DEF: Alves, Taylor, Subotic, Vargas (Vargas if A Cole goes, Subotic regardless, Taylor possible, Alves an outside chance.

MID: Ribery (probably not thanks Mrs Franck)
Schwiensteiger (reasonalby plausible)
Silva (better chance than Man U where most think he's going
Mata (difficult to tell, probably depends on what happens to Silva)
Krasic (probably not, more likely Liverpool or Man U, improves our Mata chances)
Hamsik (probably to Inter, seems to like Italy, but we're still in with a reasonable chance)
Pjanic (fallback option for Hamsik)
Moutinho (fallback for Hamsik, much better than a fallback option but is)
Dzagoev (another Hamsik fallback option)
di Maria (a nearly there thing)
Alcantara (hinges on Cesc' future)
Assulin (ditto Alcantara)
Urreta (bloody talented, would do well with di Maria and Kakuta, buy and loan back)
RVDV (compensation for Ivanovic or A Cole leaving for RM)
Teixeira (i'd say shaping up, could replace Joe Cole long term)

FWD: David Villa (70% likely)
Romelu Lukaku (80% likely)
Sergio Aguero (60%)
Pato (40%)
Gomis, Balotteli, Nilmar (25%)
Christian Eriksen (75%)

Liverpool have been given a 30 day ultimatum by the banks to restructure their debt. the yanks are strugling to do so and no club has left restructuring debt so late(unless it was pompey of course). this highlights liverpool's crippling by the yanks.

Are you for real above Pal? The re–structuring of the debt started pretty much after the last lot was agreed! Hence CP chasing investors around the globe and getting the New Shirt Sponsorship!

LFC would not leave debt restructuring until 120 days before it was due that would be insanethe yeanks wouldn't be leaving it that long not with IE & CP in charge of the commercial and day to day running of the club.

Please come with some real rumours instead of something you thought would sound good as a one line!

DIC looking liek the front runners to investthey walked away a couple of times but the Saudi Interest in the club and now the Indian Stories is making them think maybe it is a good deal (Indian stories are a smoke screen created by LFC)

26 Feb 2010 08:35:49
To the pilock who says that barnsley won't be bought and they might aswell buy the didas why would they rather buy them who are 25 million in debt and its a company from pittsburgh that are rumoured to be investing in barnsley not buying them outright

26 Feb 2010 09:49:05
To the doris who's hsband works at the Emirates.

Tell your old man to buy a hearing aid. The only player on your list for sale is Clichy and he's probably going to Real Madrid, as Barca already have a more than useful left back! Fabregas is open to debate and has been for a couple of years now, just like Vieria was season in season out, he was always going to Real, remember though Paddy ended up at Juventus. Sagna is the best RB in the UK and selling him doesn't make sense nor does RVP (especially to Man Ure) or Eduardo. Eboue is starting to show what a good player he is and don't be surprised if he ends up playing centre midfield. Lastly, it would appear Chamkah and Hazard are two genuine targets as are Giovinco (the Italian Messi) and Chellini both at Juventus who still owe Arsenal from the Paddy sale!

26 Feb 2010 00:02:38
Why are City forcing me out by SHAUN WRIGHT–PHILLIPS.. SIMPLE Mourinho will be Citys new manager come the summer and your not his future.

26 Feb 2010 01:42:27
Another South Coast club could be in administration in the next few weeks:

Bournemouth have had another winding order issued against them.

26 Feb 2010 02:35:47
Breaking News..Storrie IS going to quit Pompey.

His position is untenable now that administration has started.

Rest of the board to quit, an interim chairman will be appointed and investment has to be there by the end of June or else we are gone for good.

The Football League will NOT allow us in with our debts UNLESS we can give 100% assurances that these will be paid off (saw the post yesterday of us paying £6.5m for 10 years.we could be paying a lot more if creditors get their way!)

Unless we can unearth the next Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka all within in the next 12 months we will be swimming against the financial tide.

26 Feb 2010 03:09:17
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez had sent scouts to watch Juan Mata play against Club Bruges, and there have been glowing reports from the chief scout. Mata opened the scoring in the first minute of the game. Liverpool have lined up a 20m bid for the Spaniard before the World Cup, hoping its enough to prise him away from the Mestalla

25 Feb 2010 23:31:49
To The Person Who Wrote This

AFC
My husband works at the emirates he has heard the following rumours
Fabregas 50m+Henry to Barca
Eboue 10m to inter
Sagna 12m to real
Clichy 14m to Barca
RVP 25m to Manu
Eduardo 5m to anyone
Bentner
others free out Gallas senderous, silvertre, campbell, Almuniam

In
Green or Hart 5m
2 DM. sorry no names
2 CD. upson + 1
2 x strikers . no names

Are you on drugs you think we are gonna sell RVP this summer and let alone we sell him to manure
and if we was gonna sell a rb then we won't sell both unless we are getting 2 new rbs in and we will replace clichy with a recognised lb and i don't know if you have listened to wenger over the years and watched his actions he will not sell bendtner because he is a proper talent and will become a massive player for arsenal and we will not buy upson back now

so putting all that aside here will be the arsenal line–up for the 2010–2011 season

Gk – Hugo Lloris / Joe Hart
Rb – Cesar Azpilaqueta / Gregory Van Der Wiel
Lb – Kieran Gibbs / Marcelo
Cb – Neven Subotic / Thomas Vermaelen / Micah Richards / Mamadou Sakho / Sol Campbell
Cdm – Yaya Toure / Alex Song / Blauise Matuidi
Cm – Marek Hamsik / Aaron Ramsey / Abou Diaby / Stephen Ireland
Lw – Theo Walcott / Tomas Rosicky / Eden Hazard

25 Feb 2010 22:34:32
Arsenal are likely to purchase Jeremy Toualalan this summer, long admired by AW. This would give Arsenal some good depth at DM and would also potentially enable them to shift Song back to CB, where he would pair up well with Vermaelen.

25 Feb 2010 22:38:08
Dennis Bergkamp has recommended young Danish striker prodigy Christian Eriksen, currently of Ajax, to Arsenal. A bid may happen this summer, with Bendtner possibly going the other way.

25 Feb 2010 22:38:11
MAN CITY breaking NEWS..

COOKWOODS contracts won't be renewed at the end of the season a new Italian director of football will replace Kevin and Perry

25 Feb 2010 22:40:15
Don't be surprised to see Arsene Wenger sale Gael Clichy to either AC Milan or Real Madrid this summer. AW feels that after recovery from injury Kieran Gibbs will be the best choice as 1st LB.

25 Feb 2010 22:41:05
Portsmouth's creditors are furious that the club has escaped their winding–up order, and will continue to press for further punishments including another points deduction at the start of next season.

Ironically, Chester City fans are equally irate that
their club will NOT fold. They had been looking to launch a community–owned phoenix club, but these plans seem to have been scuppered by an opportunistic Danish consortium.
