talks that Marek Čech a left back will sign a 2 year at Brighton on a free transfer

Think he used to play for west brom

Yh he was and was part of Jose Mourinho squad when they won the Porto won the champions league in 2003/2004 season

Would b a good signing

Good signing. From what I saw of Adam Chicksen last night he's not going to be in the first team for a few months until he gets used to the Championship game. He was terrible.

26 Jul 2013 21:29:50
Southampton have rejected Doncaster's bid for Billy Sharp because they only want a permanent move. It is thought Rovers will return with a £1.5 million bid once their investment is complete

Not true ^^

Sharp& Given deals dead, hopefully keeper signing Thursday apparently one shareholder holding up Irish investment
Keep smiling John the fans are totally behind what you are trying to do

Why would DRFC offer more than Southampton want. That's 1.2 million, exactly what they paid DRFC for his services.

26 Jul 2013 20:53:25
With Brayford going Nigel won't use the money on a new RB but instead play freeman at RB and use the money on some old targets such as Burke although he signed a new contract and maybe a new CB such as Ian evatt

No he won't. Brayford will be replaced and a CH brought in too. We don't want or need Burke.

26 Jul 2013 19:55:17
Just seen Jason Holt in the crowd at Motherwell, half time. Derbyshire sure to start against Huddersfield.

Just seen Jamie Mackie in the crowd at Fir Park, doesn't mean he is signing for Motherwell.

That's because he plays for notts forest.

26 Jul 2013 19:14:07
Kevin Doyle set for middlesbrough switch

No chance and if we did it wreaks of desperation

He looks as though he is Celtic bound, would be a decent signing but I can see him signing for Celtic

26 Jul 2013 19:12:11
i have been telling you for few months that stuart pearce would be the swindon manager come the start of the new season. told you due to external factors this was a slow burner. to all the disbelievers I can confirm that stuart pearce will be appointed early next week now that contractural issues have been resolved.

Total bull it will not be Pearce, it will be tisdale, cooper or Ferdinand all day long.

27 Jul 2013 16:34:51
God I hope not, that's all we need, he has hardly shown himself to be the sharpest tool in the box.

What have you been smoking

I understand that stuart pearce met with the board again today and will be announced as the new manager at a press confrence on monday. don't belevie?ask jed

Pearce has priced himself out of the Swindon job, he will not be approached by Swindon after initial consultations. if you don't believe me then ask Jed, that's gospel.

26 Jul 2013 18:47:25
Toby Agdestein has left Brighton by mutual consent.

Gone to scottish club Inverness

26 Jul 2013 18:46:23
Bristol Rovers Gary Kenneth to dundee united on 6 month loan deal to regain fitness before continueing with bristol rovers career. United had neal trottman on trial but they have decided not to pursue him and opt for bringing kenneth back to his former club.

Very unlikley and mixed reaction if he'd be welcome back at United

No chance put simply.

26 Jul 2013 18:45:02
Rotherham have finally agreed a deal with Bournemouth to sign Matt Tubbs. Expected to be announced on Monday. Mark my words this is very reliable.

Initial 6 month loan

We will believe it when we see it

To meet ffp rules Bournemouth will need to get rid of couple of overpaid strikers before they sign a decent striker. Take your pick of two out of four exits from afcb, tubbs, stockley, grabban and wes Thomas are all not championship players. other doubtfuls are josh McQuoid And Donal MacDermott.

I feel I must concur with this, a 6 month loan deal by all accounts!

26 Jul 2013 17:47:32
J S Looks to have the left back position covered with the iminent signing of Andre Blackman who has been released by Celtic, he will sign for Argyle once the paper work has been completed between the two clubs.

Good luck with him! He's a great player but his attittude stinks and you'd be better off using him as a left winger, rather than left back, as he can go on blinding runs up the wing, but then doesn't get back again!

He is a free agent, just relevant paper work

27 Jul 2013 17:33:58
Terry Butcher booted him outta Inverness after one game.

26 Jul 2013 18:18:45
Doncaster have sent loan offers for Shay Given and Billy Sharp! RTID!

Could be true no other clubs have shown an interest in him, good luck to him and Rovers

True dickov confirmed it in an interview

Need players on permanent deals not like the season before last flooding the squad with loan signings. If doncaster are really serious about being there or there abouts at the end of the season then they need to sign players instead of scrimping and scraping.

26 jul 2013 18:11:39
any bristol city transfer news in or out,

27 Jul 2013 17:31:16
Curtis main is about to become a Bristol city player on a one year loan

LOokin more n more likely marlon pack will get a deal at bristol city. sod has said they couldn't of asked any more of him. acquited himself brilliantly. always fancied him down there. maybe harewood could do the business in league1. free so might be best option at present. though would like billy sharp. but like some1 else has said Davies wouldn't ofbeen going anywhere if we were able to of afforded to keep him

49 games for league one Darlington and only 5 goals - not the prolific goal scorer we need!

26 Jul 2013 16:51:37
Millwall manager Steve Lomas looking at signing free agent Jay Bothroyd as a backup striker to Morrison + McDonald while John Marquis will be sent out on a season long loan for first team football in the lower leagues.

I really doubt it, we have 5 strikers without JM. Steve Morison Scott McDonald, Andy Keogh, Jermaine Easter, and Dany N'Guessan. I think we are looking for RB and good back up CB

Hope not, he's pony!

Dont expect any news, except on Robbo. It looks like Millwall have honoured him with a big build up to to-day, Well Done Robbo.

So we are looking for a CB are we. if you don't go don't post rubbish we have Shiitu, Beavers, Robinson, Osbourne, Lowry, Goodman all centre backs.

Didnt say that, read what is said. There has been a news blackout, except on Robbo is what I said.

26 Jul 2013 16:33:08
Rotherham's long search for a striker could be over with Steve Evans keeping tabs on Leicester's Hungarian forward Mrk Futcs.

The 6ft 5 giant was unused sub against Port Vale earlier this week & is not thought to be in City's long term plans.

26 Jul 2013 16:26:40
Hartlepool United to sign

- Nialle Rodney - Free
- Sam Williams (recently released by Dags & Red)

- An unnamed Left Back and Midfielder will join Hartlepool on season long loans from Sunderland and Middlesborough respectfully.

Outs
- Steven Howard will leave before the start of the league season.

Burgess. on loan

Pools are signing Christian Burgess, Bryn Morris and Jordan Jones on loan from Boro

And faris haroun

Mowbray is likely to allow Jones and Haroun to follow Burgess to Pools but has confirmed that Morris, Gibson and Main will not be going on loan

Very much doubt haroun like mate

26 Jul 2013 16:16:48
Middlesbrough are expected to sign Borja Gonzalez on loan and defenders Matthew Bates and Matthias Langkamp by next Friday

Lets sign Bates so he can spend another season on the tratment table. do me a favour Boro. move on.

26 Jul 2013 16:10:10
Swindon Town are close to announcing the signing of midfielder Ryan Harley from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Already been anounced on a two year contrct

Is he any good? Heard lots of Brighton fans slagging him off.

No he isn't but might be ok in league 1. Ask MK Dons fans he went on loan to them last season.

Talented but oh so lazy.

We didn't see the best of him at Brighton. He was excellent for Exeter when they had their highest finish. His timing was bad though, he should have joined the Albion when we were in league one but instead he went to Swansea. They went up to Prem and he's not a prem player. When he eventually joined us we had an established midfield and he never really settled.
Despite his critics, he is an attacking midfielder who can shoot and is great at set pieces. It didn't work at the Albion, but I think Swindon have got a player who'll be desperate to regain his form and fulfill some of his potential.

The only thing that Ryan Harley did for us was score a good free-kick on his debut against Peterborough. Apart from that he did nothing. He's not good enough for the Championship, still League One quality.

26 Jul 2013 15:58:34
Peterborough About to Sign Paddy Mcourt (free Transfer) Luke Freeman, Stevange 500k, Jake Howells, Luton 250k and ONE More striker.

No we won't freeman or McCourt maybe but won't happen

McCourt said no

Stop with the bloody luke freeman rumour! its been denied so many times and that name is getting boring now.

27 Jul 2013 14:20:39
jake howells 250,000 don't be silly he cost you lot at least 1.5 million

Please be serious. Why would anybody pay £1.5m for a BSP player

26 Jul 2013 15:50:52
Burnley will end Gary Madines nightmere spell at Sheff Wed and sign him on a season long loan to replace Martin Paterson who joined Huddersfield

What's nightmare about his spell?

Not go to burnley he is stay put

26 Jul 2013 15:46:44
A host of clubs in England are interested in signing St Johnstone striker' Stevie May.

I very much doubt that he wants spl experience and he won't move so that is a pointless rumor

26 Jul 2013 14:52:08
Coventry trialist Mathieu Manset set to snub a pre-contract agreement with the club and has opted to hold contract talks with Stevenage.

26 Jul 2013 18:36:08
boro to sign sami and shola

Mathieu Manset: Reliably informed by a Reading fan I work with, that he is a lumbering oaf and didn't make it with them at Championship level. hence why he is doing the rounds and failing at all these lower league clubs. Moved on by Hereford and Carlisle, can I say more? or has he found his level at a failing club, going no where with corrupt owners giving the FA and Inland Revenue the run around!

26 Jul 2013 14:46:14
The money coming into Derby from the Brayford transfer now means that manager Nigel Clough can complete the signing of Leon Barnett from Norwich.

Other potential signings include Jon Flanagan on a loan deal from Liverpool and Chris Forrester, a young winger currently playing for St Patrick's in Ireland.

26 Jul 2013 14:31:56
Have heard Becchio back to Leeds on season long loan now Hooper signed for Norwich

Now that would b g8 to see

Why, they only have 3 strikers on the books. With Lambert and Jackson gone.

Norwich also in talks with yan m'bia from Qpr

Why would we let beccio go back to leeds we would be back to square one just 2 strikers.

Norwich only have 3 strikers including Becchio. At the moment he can't go anywhere as if injury struck he would be needed.

We only have 3 strikers won't happen

Hope not, we've only got 3 strikers and if we go two up front we're short of strikers

Cannot see that happening, we have only three strikers even with new signing Hooper, and NCFC are actively looking for a fourth Striker.

Never going to happen, why would we work so hard to get a 3rd striker then get rid of another 1! Only way it would happen is if we get another striker! Jb

Norwich also have loza witch is 4 strikers and its holt who left not lambert.

Beccio is a great striker. almost 30 goals for leeds when came to us so will be needed to throw in the mix at anytime to partner wolfs or hoops

Becs looksa good player no one has really seen him play yet a few end of games I mean come on you can't sya he's crap wolfwinkle might be crap yet so behave

He's almost 30 and has a lot of experience of first team football. Why on earth would he be going out on loan?

28 Jul 2013 10:39:31
Norwich city have 4 strikers not 3 they have becchio ricky van wolfswinkel gary hooper and nathan redmond

Redmond isn't a striker.

Redmond is a winger.

26 Jul 2013 14:03:09
Reading are interested in signing Nathan Delfouneso on a permanent deal. Aston Villa are believed to want £3m for the striker

Don't think he scores enough goals

Wow - seriously over priced!

3mill for that pile!!

Would love this to be true!

Absolute rubbish just like the player. He's proven sod all every club he's played at. Just like Connor wickham.

No one, and I mean no one, will pay Villa 3 million for Delfoneso. Half that fee would be the absolute maximum they should be asking.
If Villa are serious about getting rid of these unwanted players they need to be a bit realistic over fees.
Clarrie Blue.

We'd be happy for just £1m for him!

Readings transfer business is complete. Bridge, drenthe and Williams were signed early doors in order to generate some optimism and sell season tickets. With notorious tight a**es madejski and Nicky Hammond still on the board you can't expect any more signings

Hope this isn't true, doesn't look any good, i'd prefer harry kane over him and wickham

Readings transfer business is not complete. the transfer window does not close until sptember the 2nd. try a little patience, a lot more transfers will happen nearer that time.

I think Nathan is one for the future he has proven he can hack it in the championship and when he comes on for villa he works hard I like him and want him to stay at Villa

Definitely not all done plenty of time to go

He is rubbish £500,000 will do. I can't believe someone says he works hard, for me his favourite game is statues! He may have been good as a kid but he is just a bland nothing type of player, championship at best but probably even lower. Get rid quick.

26 Jul 2013 14:18:24
Middlesbrough are interested in signing Sunderland striker Connor Wickham on a season loan deal

Extremely doubtful

Di Canio has no intention of letting him leave Sunderland

Think Connor Wickham is on the level as Curtis main if anything i'd say main is better.

Every rumour involving players going to the boro on this site never happens because gibbo and mogga and bausor the rest of the coaching set up are all clueless

26 Jul 2013 20:05:55
Chattermole is not what we need but if we could get him it would give the squad and fans a big boost. Sland would want cash, we would need loan. Gibson may not want him back!

Connor Wickham is rubbish. agree Curtis Main is far better.

Curtis main is 100% raw talent He can be a great England forward, he needs thou in my opinion a full season 30 plus games in a starting line up I think Curtis will go on loan this season pending on who we bring in

Morgan said he wouldn't loan out Curtis or Ben Gibson

Connnor wickahm - player of the year (fact) for England u21 {Ed 003's Note - was he ?}

Curtis Main - well

26 Jul 2013 13:53:00
Swindon Town are going to announce Exeter's Paul Tisdale as their new manager within the next couple of days, he will be succeeding Kevin MacDonald. Tisdale's appointment will then lead to the signing of midfielder Ryan Harley from Brighton, who Tisdale managed whilst at Exeter.

Harley signed two year deal today

26 Jul 2013 17:19:43
Harley is signed up. I think you are putting two and two together and making five about Tisdale.
Wouldnt be surprised though if he left Exeter as I think they are scraping the barrel for players. Tisdale has done well at Exeter and really they have excelled with the constraints he has had on him with lack of funds and as we are signing loan players from Spurs in the main he could be the man to manage us. We want to play the right style of football on the floor and Exeter have always been a decent footballing side with Tisdale as manager.

Harley has signed today

If you want football on the floor you don't want tisdale

Tisdale has told swindon he has no intrest in taking over as manager. swindon to announce new manager on monday-stuart pearce

Can't see Tisdale leaving. Although Swindon is close to his area, he's turned down much bigger clubs than Swindon in the past, (no disrespect to Swindon) eg, Southampton wanted him before they got Atkins. He's got a job at Exeter for as long as he wants to do it. Tisdale's style is to build sides over several seasons, he'll only ever leave if he has assurances that a new club has the same principles. If they want instant success he won't go anywhere.

26 Jul 2013 13:52:28
Doncaster Rovers Fans the Irish deal set to be completed in the coming days as JR and the Irish consortium had a major meeting yesterday that went well and Paul Dickov will be able to make some of the signings he has got in place. RTID

Thought so as signings look to be imminent according to PD Wellens plays some part tomorrow at Bradford. Don't be surprised to see Given and Sharp too

Been told 2dayannouncement sat

Not sure about Saturday announcement, unless all completed Wed/Thur. Ryan not in country.

Ryan was in England at a meeting on thursday

I think you will find he was NOT. He flew out Wednesday evening and will return to Manchester Airport on Monday.

27 Jul 2013 16:57:45
Ill think you will find he is in England as e was at Bradford for the friendly match today

That's a load of bull, if he's not in the country what was he doing at the side of the Bradford pitch talking to Dickov for?

It's amazing I wonder if ees playing where's wally. you seek him here you seek him there john Ryan is everywhere for the club getting investment to build for the future let's fill the ground on Saturday and make him proud of what e as done

Our chairman's been in this country all week

26 Jul 2013 13:48:36
Marcello Trotta is finalising a move to Bristol City this afternoon

No chance

Don't let him take a penalty

26 Jul 2013 13:45:30
Brighton & Hove Albion are close to securing the signature of Swansea City's Neil Taylor, who returned from injury at the end of April, but has yet to cement his place in the first team due to competition from Ben Davies. It is thought the Seagulls would need to pay around £2m for Taylor's services as he is currently under contract until 2016.

There is more chance of BHA signing liz Taylor. This is a total non story.

R you mad? 2 million for a left abck who is considered as one of the best young left backs around! He will be Swans number 1 left back next year, and then will be sold to Manchester United for 10 million or more!

No chance - Taylor and Davies will both be strong squad players this season.

Ha. absolute nonsense. busiest year in the clubs history and the swans would sell their first choice left back? and for 2m? someone's trolling for a bite!

This would be a great signing for BHAFC. I don't think it will happen as he is currently a very good back up left back for his current club. As much as I would love him to sign for Brighton, I think he will stay in the prem, where he belongs.

2 million! That's the seagulls out then.

You having a laugh if you think you could get him for 2m cost a lot more than that for him to leave Swans for you or anyone else.

A £2 million newcastle Bid was knocked back 2 years ago since then he has locked down a Welsh international place and Team GB full back spot in front of Bertrand

He was rated by fergie when at Manchester United so that sounds like a future thing but Neil is a swansea player for a few years not going nowhere

Absolutely hilarious, one of the best left backs in the prem, still young and promising to continue getting better being sold for 2 mil when he's worth at least 5 times that, you must be high

26 Jul 2013 13:38:05
Yeovil Towns Byron Webster is attracting interest from various League 1 sides. GJ is tempting to let him go as he has concerns about his ability to perform at championship level

Webby is going no where. Some fans haven't been to impressed with him during pre season but GJ and skivo rate him so he won't be leaving

Rubbish He is our Vice Captain, we wouldn't let him go!

Wouldn't say no if GJ got rid of Byron

Webby is easy championship standered had michu in his back pocket when we played swansea

What a load of rubbish he is a great footballer the Yeovil fans love him stop with the rubbish he is going no where

27 Jul 2013 09:15:54
Robbie Simpson is an option across the midfield and in behind the strikers. Lee Johnson like him so could be a mover for free

No chance he has his own terminator t-shirt ;) I'll be centre back

26 Jul 2013 13:32:58
Shrewsbury Town are set to announce the signing of Sheffield United defender Danny Higgingbotham

Town have just signed tavinier

26 Jul 2013 17:17:09
Don't think so, still at the lane and watching from stands tonight!

26 Jul 2013 20:57:58
I asked him danny direct on twitter, and he has no idea where the rumour came from.

26 Jul 2013 12:03:49
If Adomah and Pearson or Elliott can be moved on then Bristol City will look at a deal to sign Billy Sharp. If not then expect either Jay Simpson or Benik Afobe to sign.

Love billy sharpe but no chance people stop making stuff up. jsy simpson maybe but wages are high we got qaulity youth side striker play him sod he will have no fear

26 Jul 2013 12:02:11
Crystal Palace are looking to take QPR's defender Anton Ferdinand on a season long loan.

Nooooooooooo thanks

26 Jul 2013 15:09:28
correct me if i'm wrong but every premier league team Ferdinand has played for has been relegated he is an awful defender and championship player at best a bad move if it happens.

Heres hoping

Hope not. overpaid big time bli g player. over rated too!

Please take him he's useless

Palace would be better off with Les Ferdinand than the hapless Anton. Universally sub-standard wherever he has been.

26 Jul 2013 11:57:45
kalou has rejected an offer from west ham as they won't play him as the main striker. West Ham also likely to lose out on Loic remy as newcastle and spurs are fighting over his signature. A lot of apprehension out there for hammers fans as they become disillusioned with West ham transfer dealings. Time running out fast for west ham who seem unable to meet the demands of proven strikers. This could mean they opt for a cheaper more available option like crouch

Crouch won't be cheaper than Kalou and there is no guarantee that Mark Hughes will want to let him go, unless we have a replacement lined up.

Rubbish he is in talks with west ham as is odemwingie

27 Jul 2013 11:53:58
This isn;t true. The West Ham chairman is trying to thrash out a financial package suitable for all. The rumour about Kalou not wanting to come because he's not the main striker is also rubbish

26 Jul 2013 11:51:03
Marlon Pack is training with Bristol City and will feature for the club in the friendly tomorrow.

Been training with Pompey all week. Not joining them, training with them because he lives in Pompey.

Yeah posted this Wednesday keep up JL

Has been confirmed by bristol city. also hearing that the club are in advanced talks with a striker to replace davies. odriscol knew he would lose either davies or baldock so has been looking at options for a while.

AFter liam Kellys injury. pack has apparently asked for a chance to prove himself at the gate. got a suspicion that compo will be sorted out with cheltnham after the bournemouth game sat. when he sets up baldock for 2of his 3goals. been going on about pack al summer so edelighted he has asked for a trial. says it al

26 Jul 2013 11:48:56
shay given signed loan one year stephen ireland on way deal nearly done richie wellens just there for fitness.

26 Jul 2013 11:41:03
Millwall after Paddy McCourt (ex celtic) apparently (Posh also interested - have him on trial). c'mon Loma's use that scottish connection you have, because signing this bloke would be real show of intent. he is absolute mustard on the ball and running with it. Him and Shorey and Millwall are dark horses for promotion!

If we can offload Woolford, Marquis on loan, N'Guessen? Then free some money up for McCourt! He's definitely worth a try!

26 Jul 2013 13:19:37
Played well for Posh but he's turned down an offer of a contract. No enough money offered and also would like to play in at least Championship.

If 'TRUE'? I think he had a 'FREE' role at Celtic, can play on either wing & midfield & when on form is 'VERY GOOD'! BUT what about JH? Also I think SL would have to get rid of some League 1ish players 1st? But IMO I would take McCourt!

Mccourts never going to be fit enough to play a full game he's more of an impact player

26 Jul 2013 13:52:16
Definitely sign McCourt! Exactly what Millwall need! He's electric on the ball but smokes over 20 fags a day. Lomas, sign him before someone else does!

Posh statements contradicting state of move, but if wages are good enough it's almost certain he will choose a championship side

If true? Where would he play?

If true? Where would he play? Ambitious Millwall this season!

McCourt is a better player the Henry FACT! BUT JH is 24 & PMC is 29, so take your pick? If true?

26 Jul 2013 11:09:59
Watford are interested in bringing Manchester United left back/midfielder Alexander Bttner on loan

I think all English clubs should refuse to loan any of their players to Watford

Can see this happening if Romero signing doesn't work out.

Certainly plausible, we could do with another left wing back and Buttner fits the bill, but being Evra's back up I don't know if Moyes would be willing to let him go.

Certainly plausible, we could do with another left wing back and Buttner fits the bill, but being Evra's back up I don't know if Moyes would be willing to let him go.

Would be perfect for Watford though doubt it will happen

You think all English clubs should refuse to loan to Watford?

Talk about baby, rattle and pram. Watford is a great club for developing talent. Look at Chalobah, Vydra and others last season. Clubs DO lend their young talent to us because it benefits BOTH parties.

It is not going to stop just because you have the hump about it.

Non uk loans will not stop us mr jealous, unfortunately for you most premier managers want their youngsters/ squad players to play in ambitious footballing teams so I expect Chelsea, arsenal, Manchester United spurs Liverpool man city will be more than happy to send players our way :-)

"I think all English clubs should refuse to loan any of their players to Watford. "

Translation: Waaaaahhhh! Waaaahhhh! It's not fair! Waaaahh!

Don't see this coming off, would rather develop one of the decent youngsters we have or get a permanent signing in.

Jealous much, think you'll find that cleverley, chalobah, lansbury, weimann, vydra, kacaniklic, cork, adam johnson, rose and agbonlahor didn't mind their time at watford.

Neither did Ben Foster. It appears all the big name loanees we have had over the last few seasons have loved their time in WD18

Inside source at Blackburn, not to sure on the credibility of it but thought i'd share it.

OUTS -

Gael Givet - Currently in a stalemate with regards to being released from his contract so he can join Llvorno. he's already had a medical and agreed personal terms with them.

Scott Dann - Has submitted a an Oral transfer request and is pushing for a move away to the EPL.

Bradley Orr - trying to shift him but proving fruitless at the moment.

Mauro Formica - News old boys in for a possible Loan Move.

INS

Yann Songo'o - Been on trail a while now, Bowyer very keen to take him on but needs to shift Givet first

Barry Bannan - Bid Tabled don't know how much, villa not accepted yet.

Ian Evatt - Traning with the club but Bowyer would prefer Songo'o

Like I said no idea if its true just have a mate who works with the under 21s and he told me some stuff so I thought it would be nice to share so take note haters.

All def in the pipeline, bannan should have signed by the everton game and songo'o is just waiting for givet to go. Rovers are going to be paying some of Givets wages for the next year.

£750k we are hearing & with first refusal of a £8m buy back.

How can you submit an Oral transfer request. All he has done is ask for a move.

26 Jul 2013 11:08:08
Blackburn are back in for Jay Spearing who wants first team football which he is not recieving at Liverpool. Also, according to reports in Birmingham and sources at Villa, Barry Bannan is very close to joining his Scotland teammates Hanley and Rhodes at Ewood Park after fallling out of favour after a poor season at Villa Park.

Bristol city are in talks with Watford striker Britt Assombalonga this is coming from a local radio station.

Only on loan, we'd never sell him. Huge future prospect

I hope this is true, League 1 side who will be at the business end of the division. Furthermore a decent manager to aid his progress.

That's some duff info you've got there. Britt's got a while left on his contract and we don't plan on selling.

Would only be a loan - if true!

I don't see the original post saying its talks for a permanent move, do you Watford fans? get off your high horses. Though I agree it'd be out of the question to sell someone like him

Would Reading fans have said the same r. e Ikpeazu?

Nobody raved about a certain Mr Travner when he went to St Mirren and made a name for himself, what makes this boy any different?

Everyone is sellable.

Well no, because Ikpeazu's contract had run out and so was available to talk to other clubs. Britt has 4 years left on his contract I believe. Jure Travner never made a name for himself, I don't know the relevance of this point, but after playing for St. Mirren he played in the prestigious Bulgarian, Slovenian and Azerbaijani leagues, hardly 'making a name for himself'.

Watford have joined the race to sign Japanese striker Mike Havenaar. However, Reading are still favourites to land the Vitesse player.

Dont be silly, no they aren't. its quite simple really as the pozzos don't own vitesse, so unfortunately you guys can't get him on loan, so won't be happening :)

26 Jul 2013 15:22:40
Well they don't own a football team in Holland yet - so maybe they will be something in this.

Considering Vitesse just let Wilfried Bony go would they be willing to relinquish another striker? I do rate Havenaar though, played a good supporting role last season and I'm sure given more opportunities he would flourish. Don't know if he's the type of player we necessarily need though.

Funny, I didn't realise the Pozzos owned Nottingham Forest, Reading, Inter, Castilla etc.

Someone is a bit jealous of the pozzo's and there great system of work

We have no players on loan, do some research.

26 Jul 2013 23:51:28
no not at all, if anything it was a good spot for you guys, finding the loophole and exploiting it, i'm suprised more clubs haven't done it if i'm honest. and some of the players you got were fantastic, I've been a big admirer of forestieri for a few years, and vydra was pretty immense for you last season

i know there's the rule about having a certain amount of players in the matchday squad that are foriegn, but cause most of the guys you signed are eu nationals it didn't apply

The assertion that we get only get players from Udinese and Granada is ridiculous. We've already acquired Ikpeazu and McGugan, and some of the players we have signed from Udinese were bought specifically for us, eg Acuna and Faraoni.

Yeah but you didn't by Ikpeasu and McGugan. They were frees so you hardly bought them from Forest and Reading.

Faraoni wasn't signed specifically for us, he was signed last season and played 17 times last season.

^^ No-one used the word 'bought', we know we signed them for nothing - they were out of contract. That doesn't make them inferior players - in fact it makes excellent business sense, not having to stump up huge transfer fees whilst having the possibility of selling both later for fees, thereby making a profit.
What it also makes is nonsense of the claim that we only get players from Udinese or Granada - simply not true.

If those players were signed specifically for you why didn't they join Watfird straight away?

One would assume its because saying "Wanna play for Watford?" Isn't as attractive to a player as "Hey wanna play for Udinese? (then we'll force you to sign for Watford)"

*buy. I didn't say we bought them. Look again. Faraoni was a co-ownership deal. They completed the deal this summer.

Watford poster said "Funny didn't realise Pozzi's owned Forest and Reading" I merely pointed out the mistake by noting that you didn't buy those players you signed em on frees so what team they previously played for means nothing. So Watford posters point is null and void.

I take your point about McGugan, but the fact is he declined offers from Prem teams to come here. Although Ikpeazu was out of contract, he declined the offer of a new one from Reading and signed to us. So in principle, we signed him from Reading. And the reason those players weren't signed to us straight away is because we don't have the funds to pay the transfer fee. Any assumption about who they expected to play for beyond that is ungrounded and based on one's own bias. However I would point out that although the Pozzos wanted some players to sign for us on loan last year, the players wanted to stay in Italy, and the Pozzos let them, so I find it a more likely situation that anyone who is playing for us has agreed to do so. After all, it's not like the Pozzos can force them to sign the contract or push them on the plane when they're not looking is it?

They can if the alternate option is being out of work.

I must admit I don't like what Watford are doing but as you've broken no rules we shall have to leave with it.

It'll make it all the sweeter when we beat you 😉

Brentford keeper Simon Moore is having a medical at Cardiff City this morning.
Brentford have 3 goalkeepers on trial at the moment as his replacement.

Ha, that's a good one IF Simon Moore leaves it will be to a big club, not a team who will spend one season in the premiership and then get relegated, Simon Moore going no where. RED ARMY

26 Jul 2013 16:33:30
I think you'll find he signed. But in any case even if we go down we'll still be one Division (at least) higher than you

Redbird

Ha, good one. Cause he IS signing for Cardiff.

If true us bees better get a good fee

He wouldn't go to Cardiff we don't need to sell him were rich so no need to sell

Not even a million well done malkay

He has signed for Cardiff, so I don't know what you Brentford fans are on about

He signed for Cardiff but your sending him on loan to brentford

I'm the one who posted this, and I am a Brentford fan. Unfortunately there are some deluded fans that think we are rich and don't need money. We now have more money but still are not rich. Saying that, the undisclosed fee is around £3m which will be very helpful for a replacement keeper and centre back.

He has signed for Cardiff for a million.

Where are all you Cardiff fans getting all this there is nothing official

I know for a fact it is at least £2.5m, so you're probably right with the £3m, his value will triple in the next 5 years so good business by Cardiff.

Simon Moore signed a new contract recently and with Brentford's current financial situation there would be no need for selling unless a large fee was involved. I have heard £5m and £3m, assuming the latter is more realistic, but it is all undisclosed.

27 Jul 2013 22:52:21
Cardiff have said undisclosed, but Brentford saying its a club-record and £3m. A lot of money, surely one for the future.

The fee is about £2m with add ons, plus a sell on percentage. I believe it's in the region of £1.3m up front

£2m up front and if he makes a certain amount of apps then it's rising to £3m. CCFC fan

Why don't everyone stop guesstimating and wait till both clubs have made it official it makes sense?

Take the money and run. He's good but I think lee is better. Cost us a few points last season. Not good with long range efforts or commanding his area.

He's one of the best keepers I've seen at Brentford for commanding his area have a word lol

The fee is 150k

26 Jul 2013 10:27:07
Shrewsbury Town set to sign veteran defender Danny Higginbotham from Sheffield United

Well he's just activated a contract extension but I don't mind if he goes tbh!

We don't need defenders, i'm happy with marsden and bradshaw upfront at the moment haven't put a foot wrong I've seen in pre-season, but we nedd experienced strikers will do someone to put the ball in the back of the net! SALOP

Indeed, we don't need defenders. we need a pacy winger & at least one experienced striker

Wem Shrew

Matthew barnes homer could be on his way proven goalscorer at least

Matthew barnes homer could be on his way proven goalscorer at least

. .

A conference player at best!

26 Jul 2013 10:23:17
Craig Conway is interesting Nigel Clough!

26 Jul 2013 10:10:45
Apparently Blackpool are interested in signing wolves midfielder Steven hunt and Bolton midfielder Keith Andrews.

Steven Hunt was released from wolves

Hunt is without a club.

26 Jul 2013 10:08:39
Walsall would like to take Forest forward Matt Derbyshire on loan until January to make way for Danny Griffiths to go get some first team football

Doubt it, Davies has said that everyone has a clean slate this season and Derbyshire is one of the more dissapointing players from last season that has impressed so far this pre season, netting in the last 3 games in a row. I expect him to be given a chance and if he fails to impress I can see a move late on in the window or January

It's now four times he scored again last night against Motherwell.

26 Jul 2013 10:06:33
Walsall will take one more look at James McQuilkin and Shabir Isofi before signing only one of them, also before wednesdays game with Villa Dean Smith will want the goalkeeper suitation sorted with Shame Lewis looking the most possible to win the contract with Seb Usai and Tyrell belford in the mix

26 Jul 2013 09:40:14
Notts Forest have made Burnley hitman Charlie Austin their main target after completing signing of Jamie Mackie for 1M

Burnley want 4M for the player while Forest are set to test the water with a 2. 5M bid

They can test the water all they want but austin is staying and 2.5 mil is an insult

26 Jul 2013 12:18:44
QPR to offer £3 million plus better wages for Charlie.

Well that won't be good enough then

Austin is not staying he will move onto bigger and better clubs

Surely his value has gone down since his reported failed medical ay Hull, perhaps he is now seen as a gamble that is the real reason and only reason he would stay at Burnley, in agreeing terms with Hull he has expressed his desire to move on, and Burnley happy to let him go for the right price

26 Jul 2013 08:56:27
In the wake of the departure of Brayford, Derby will be keen to sign Ian Evatt, who's training at Blackburn, and either a loan replacement followed by a large investment on a right back

Good strong defender could be what we need bring him back to where he started his career. what about Bradley orr or chrus Christie for our rb problem now?

As other poster said spur is a left back try harder

The reason I put Evatt down is there have been rumours in the past and that's the guy we need as he's a bit of a Bucko we need, Orr is a solid right back to replace Brayford as well. Also I think it'd be good if we can get a foreigner of good potential at a young age in like Gjokaj

Evatt going to chesterfield

Make that has gone!

26 Jul 2013 08:53:20
Lambert to West Ham
Osvaldo to southampton

Both announced in the next few days

I bet you both of those don't happen

Neither happening. Lambert won't be going to West Ham, and Osvaldo clearly doesn't want a move to the south coast

Osvaldo to Fulham
West Ham to championship more like.
;-)

Not sure if West Ham will go to the championship, I think they may stay playing 1500BC Football

Southampton won't get Osvaldo and West Ham won't get Ricky.

Cant see it no way

Osvaldo is stroppier than Suarez, Higher maintenance than Ballotelli, and more insecure than Rooney. I don't think he's the cottagers type. I'd like think saints wouldn't be interested either.

The top teams will always come out best loaning out players who cannot play against themselves. let's hope this is a year of surprises.

26 Jul 2013 08:51:43
Watford are not going to sign anyone who isn't available on a free transfer or a loan from a Premier League club. The next signings will be centre back Belklamen, Campos Toro ( if Romero signing is dropped) Pawlowski, Mlinar, Merkel and Ighalo, all permanent from Udinese. After that, it will just be domestic loans. Vydra will stay at Udinese if no appropriate offers come in.

Belkalem is definitely signing, Campos Toro is likely, should Romero not sign, and Ighalo might happen but Pawlowski, Mlinar and Merkel will not happen. Although Guidolin wants him, I doubt Vydra will stay at Udinese. The Pozzos want to give him game time.

I can't see us signing that many more players, there's good competition for places across the pitch. We need a 3rd choice goalkeeper (which Pawlowski is far too good for) and possibly a striker (Forestieri and Fabbrini aren't out and out goalscorers so someone to help Deeney and Acuna). Once Belkalem joins we should have enough defensive cover as well, so the only position I think we could do with would be a left wing back.

Mlinar and Merkel are most unlikely as we have enough midfield players.

To the guy talking about what we need, Campos Toro would be played as a left wing back but he will only sign if Romero doesn't. Ighalo would provide another striker and Pawlowski would provide a third choice keeper, but both of those signings are doubtful.

I know where they play, I'm behind the signings of Ighalo and Campos Toro, but Pawlowski is too good to sit on the bench. There's no point in him going from back up at Udinese to back up at Watford. We'll probably look to sign a youngster released from another club's academy.

I noticed Berti Schotterl in our squad (on the matchday programme). He's previously been in the squad on the premise of a back up keeper because Almunia was injured. Perhaps we could sign him as a last resort should a better keeper not be found and he be still available come the end of the transfer window. Either him or fast track Wilks to the first team.

26 Jul 2013 08:43:23
Oldham athletic looking at ex Leeds united centre half Patrick kisnorbo who's a free agent

Hope its true. paddy would do a great job for them in league1. Deserves it.

Yeovil have him on trial but I've also heard his native Newcastle jets want him aswell. MOT

No thanks, defenders without pace don't work. Not good enough for Oldham

26 Jul 2013 08:37:13
Simon Moore will complete a move to Cardiff City from Brentford today. Uwe Rosler hinted at this during a fans question and answer night

He did not hint at it, said it was the first he heard of it.

26 Jul 2013 08:35:19
Baggies have had an 4m bid accepted for salomon kalou and are also in line to loan vydra but also heard that we have bidded 4m for hik as well

Why would WBA bid £4M for a player with a £2. 6M release clause in his contract?

Here's an experiment: someone at West Brom should put out a false bid for Radamel Falcoa and see how long it is before West Ham go after him. Reports this morning suggest that Albion are engaging with Vydra to see if we can have him on a season's long loan. Surprise - a report springs up not long after that the Hammers want him. Like clockwork.

I heard that too but 4 mill seems a lot for kalou!

Well that's complete rubbish as kalou has a release fee of 2.6 million!

Why would we bid 4 million when he has a release clause of 2.8 million?

Because extra fees and add ons do add up you know mate and that what recent reports have said, read them!

We ought to release a statement saying that wba want odemwingie to stay n that we have offered him new terms and then see what clueless sam does. prob be after him then

There are 3 weeks to go to the start of the premier campaign and we are still faffing about trying to bring players in. Come on Baggies, pull your finger out. let's get Kalou, Vydra, Sinclair. Why haven't we gone for Scott Parker. Oozes class in the middle of the park and also a punt on Darren Bent. What do you think

Its 2.6 million mate get it right

What extra fees would there be on a release clause?? As much as I would love to see kalou down the hawthorns I don't see how we will guarantee him a central striker role which according to most newspaper's he is after?

Hasn't the vydra to west ham rumour came from his agent, he said they would be a perfect fir something.

Vydra got going to west brom as the club are looking to sell and not loan and the price is a whopping 15m apparently!

REally hope we don't attempt to go for Scott parker as he is shocking and the most over rated player in the premier league, one player I would like to see in the mighty blue and white stripes is Andros Townsend as he looks quality

Who said we was after parker not heard that one before

26 Jul 2013 06:26:48
Oldham look set for a surprise move to bring in Chesterfield's skipper Sam Hird

They dropped him took captaincy off him and transfer listed him

Ian Evatt to Chesterfield, done deal

Maybe true If rumours of Evatt are true and he is coming "home"

Hasn't he just signed a 2 year contract with Chesterfield?

I am hearing, Ian Evatt will join Chesterfield. Today

27 Jul 2013 09:39:17
Ian Is training with Blackburn Rovers.

Ian Evatt will sighn for Blackburn as he is currently training with them and blackburn are keen on bringing him in permenantly. No chance he will drop down 2 divisions, quality player and too good for leauge 2. Would be a massive catch for chesterfield if they did actually manage to pull it off though. can't see it happening myself.

He's coming back to cd great player

Spent 2 years with Cfc and really loves the club so why not

Leam. richardson said after wednesday game they spoke to him and shown great desire to join

26 Jul 2013 08:26:03
Southampton interested in Liverpool target Luis Muriel, 22, who plays for Udinese for £15m.

If this happened for Southampton it would be the most incredible signing we've done yet but unfortunately I personally can't see it happening.

26 Jul 2013 09:57:09
his buy out clause exceeds 25m - I'd expect that they would have to meet it.

I would be so happy it hurts, should this happen.

For me he would be a better signing than Damaio

26 Jul 2013 12:03:40
Only signed for Udinese last season and a big part of their plans. Not going anywhere, not even Watford lol

Previous comment, pretty sure he signed for them in 2010, not last season, learn some facts before posting!

Bailey

Considering Udinese want £15m for Vydra who they only sent out on loan to the championship, they will want a hell of a lot more than that for one of their first choice strikers in Serie A!

I Imagine he'd go for more around the 25m Euros mark. Young footballer of the year 2012 in Italy, scores at a rate of 0. 5 goals per game in the Serie A (that's very good).

26 Jul 2013 08:02:49
Blackpool are in talks with Keith Andrews from Bolton

Very unlikely got 2 years left on his contract and does not want to leave, plus would need to prove his fitness after under going surgery in march

Hope not he's useless. rusa round. like a headless. chicken

And matt mills

Untrue. Dougie Freedman is keen to off load both Andrews and Mills

Andrews is slow and he isn't very good. Matt Mills is a big clogger of a defender, who just hoofs the ball forward. None will be missed at Bolton, good riddance!

26 Jul 2013 02:40:04
Wigan look to sign Middlesbrough target albert Adomah before the weekend fixtures, with a fee of 1.5m

Only been a matter of time for him to sign somewhere else, why oh why if we wanted this guy (and others) does our transfer policy and procedure take so long. It is obvious that as a club we don't hold much of an attraction to players anymore despite what was written several months ago by the club and as we can't get them to come due to inflated wages there is very little reason to come at all. From a position of optimism a few weeks ago I fear that this season will be one long hard struggle and the 2 signings we have made - presumably encouraged by the promise of further signings - must be regretting signing already. Sorry lads this is going to be one poor team and one hard season.

To the second comment - why do you assume its the clubs fault?
Surely it could be the player, selling club or agent trying to get other bidders.
What do you want boro to do - pay over the odds to keep you happy
You know nothing apart from how to moan

Out of interest we were advised of a triple swoop by the local press at the start of the week, if we have missed silva and vargas who was the other guy and why hasn't he signed?

Out of interest we were advised of a triple swoop by the local press at the start of the week, if we have missed silva and vargas who was the other guy and why hasn't he signed?

It happens too often that's why, years and years of it

We have some kids who can come in and do the job with the missing holes we have, but Tony will sign the players I have faith n Tony loves the club as we do, and yes, we won't be first who as won things with kids ( Tony Mowbray fledglings ( Gibson, brobble, park, haliday, reach, main l. Williams ), have to agree don't moan i'm happy so far with signings Varga, whitehead after all name one player out of the 12 we have let go that have set or club on fire, ill answer it none there where all deadwood, future is bright for mfc n Mowbray is the man for us utb

26 Jul 2013 18:09:23
Your obviously the guy who jumped on my comment last night! I think when you pay your hard earned money purchasing two season tickets I think you have a god given right to moan especially when your told that we are strengthing the team but find we seem to miss out on every target going and seems historical with boro and the likes of Hignet saying when you see who boro are going to buy and you feel wow yeh I will renew my ticket and take my daughter then again I think you have a right to moan again we are suppose to live in a free society yes! The fact that we have let go some quality players ie Bailey (Never put foot wrong and played out of position) and now a striker in McDonald (ration of one goal in three) the same ratio striker we are supposedly trying to find and sign is very worrying and doesn't forbode well for the start of the season. I love my club and I ain't going to sit back and watch it fall apart with out saying either so you stop moaning at moaners and look after your own stable if your so good why haven't we heard of you before running a club to seems you know so much!

chazlad

The other guy is Turnbull. Hardly inspiring.

Actually I agree with the second comment. If the squad stays as it is then it will be a long hard season of either being mid-table fodder or in a relegation battle.

I'm sorry but the buck stops with Middlesbrough. If they really want players then they need to go out and get them.

The facts are we have no money, a half empty stadium and a chairman who no longer can pump millions into the club for two reasons. 1. He is restricted by the fair play rules and 2. He is a millionaire in a playground of billionaires.

Pizzi was the first to turn us down

The other guy was pizzi who has or is signing for benfica = borjas teammate

Sorry if I over stepped the Mark chazlad I was just trying to defend the club we support!
Take care enjoy next season - please don't get negative. It destroys us all

28 Jul 2013 08:55:22
Hey think we are all passionate about Boro let's hope we can buck the trend this season and not collapse in the second half as we did the last two.

Its a catch twenty two situation had boro inspired the fans then the stadium would have 20000 plus and less restrictions going forward think we all have to respect fans comments even if they don't go to games, I don't believe its just lack of money its the lack of entertainment or what you get for your money ill admit after last season I to thought is it worth it to sit for 90 mins and leave feeling like you have had a stroke. We gained so many fans back against sheff wed and the next games kept higher averages only to see the collapse chase them away.
Football is a business nowadays whether its good to have a British owner or not but fact of the matter is the clubs dying on its feet and needs an influx to survive, if Boro got bought by a billionaire or consortium i'd say good Gibbo could still be part of and keep a share hold because that's what would inspire the fans to come back, what all fans want is value for money and to be intertained.

I here people say no one wants to buy Boro i'd say why not the only reason no one has tried is because Gibbo has never sounded out the business world to say it is.

lets here some good rumours on here and the peep who do it add why you know it helps people believe in maybe some truth in it.

Chazlad

Bristol City are hoping to tempt Billy Sharp to Ashton Gate. Sharp is a keen admirer of O'Driscoll as a manager, but is very reluctant to drop down to League 1 level. City are working on tempting him to the Gate.

City are also looking into buying James Dunne or Marlon Pack to make up for the loss of Liam Kelly after suffering an injury.

With what - you haven't even got shirt buttons left - his weekly wage is out of your league and you are selling players now to fund the seasons wage bill - not to buy - the £1.5m you will get for Adomah and Pearson is the difference between this years running costs and the income you have - so its free transfers/loans and cheap wages I am afraid

Sharp wages will be a no deal, we are in the process of dumping all our big earners, if we could afford Sharp we would ave stuck with Steven Davis who has just signed for Blackpool. got to admire his ambition {Ed003's Note - i agree :) }

Sharp wages will be a no deal, we are in the process of dumping all our big earners, if we could afford Sharp we would ave stuck with Steven Davis who has just signed for Blackpool. got to admire his ambition

Get your facts right our chairman is worth 100's of millions one if the richest men in the uk. He is also ready to pump 40 million of his own money into a new ground or redevelop Ashton gate. CSF

LOoks like you know an awful lot. pack training with city. he has asked for a trial. looks like he wants to come doesn't it.

Please don't talk twaddle we are not selling to fund the wages or Adomah would have gone to the first bidder what has been said is that all players have their price and if that is met the player will be given the option to leave. Thanks to our owner we are only in debt to him as he has moved the debt to equity so we started the season effectively debt free except what is owed to Mr Lansdown a debt which he said he will not call in. Sean O'Driscoll and our DoF Mr Burt have been very careful with the signings thus far to keep us within the SCMP we ended up being lucky that Nyatanga and Heaton decided not to resign as they would have been more expensive than their replacements.

26 Jul 2013 00:20:17
Transfer listed Forest Green striker James Norwood is being pursued by many L1 clubs, Peterborough United being favorites to sign him.

Posh are reported to be after two strikers by Barry Fry so is viable

All forest need now is a left back like martin ollson and a right center like mattew mills and then we whould probaly win the league with the squad we would have

26 Jul 2013 00:17:43
Middlesbrough are in discussions with the interest of re-signing winger Tarmo Kink

If true I'm glad I have moved out of my seat in the upper tier of the north stand, because he nearly hit me a few times last time he was here. I give up if this happens!

Dont believe this. Too far fetched even for a wind up. I never rated him anyway.

He was decent last time he played for us, wouldn't mind him coming back

Please let this be a joke, wasn't good enough then so certainly not good enough now. Please don't think a couple of good strikes cover up for hugely inept and ineffective performances

This is very disappointing if true, a MASSIVE step backwards

Mowbray wanted him away and for a start he was very poor. All he did was have ambitious shots for a mile off. 'He was decent last time he played for us'. You having a laugh? He was abysmal.

No he has just signed for a serie a team details unknown

Tarmo Kink to Catania Calcio

Please no.

Chuks Aneke has been linked with a loan move to Notts County from Arsenal. {Ed027's Note - Arsene is hoping to loan Chuks out to a Championship club

He may be wanting a championship loan but if nobody wants him, surely l1 would be better than rotting in the reserves

Chuks also wanted back again at Crewe

As far as i'm aware there's been no interest from any championship clubs. Yeah, Crewe were always going to be linked with him. Crewe might not be the right environment for Chuks though with everything that's gone off.

26 Jul 2013 00:08:24
Kalou has turned down West Hams advances as he wants to be assured of a place up front, incidentally I don't think WBA will offer this will Anelka, Rosenborg & Long all already at the club, so that deal looks a long way off - even if club meets reported £2.6m asking price.

Also, WBA have made a loan offer to Udinese for Matej Vydra who wants a return to England, but the premier league this time. Udinese looking for £12m if he was to be sold but equally happy with a loan move.

Club have also enquired about Sinclair of City.

Nothing concrete with either of these deals, just the WBA way. Negotiate themselves into a position where the ball in their court. Very clever.

No nonsense here - it will all be in tomorrow's press but I have a friend of a friend who know Garlick.

Noone will pay £12M for Vydra. £8M tops!

25 Jul 2013 23:34:21
Rubin Kazan are set to sign Reading striker Pavel Pogrebnyak on a free transfer. Reading are willing to mutually terminate the Russian striker's contract to lower the wage bill and open the door for a move for Burnley striker Charlie Austin.

26 Jul 2013 02:05:31
Or Havenaar or Lambert

God I hope so. totally over rated. Fans saying he would tear up the Championship next season. based on?. Bad buy by AZ. let's hope he's now learned his lesson and leave player recruitment to the manager.

We won't sell him for Free. Micky Hammond knows how to get blood from a stone. If Kazan want him they'll pay for him.

Micky Hammond must be Nicky Hammond's cousin 🙊

He won't be leaving on a free.

If rubin kazan want him then they would have no problem paying a fee, I doubt they would waste time trying to get him on a free and I doubt very much reading will let him go for nothing

He will be leaving on a free we signed him for free and he had a poor season and ison high wage.

Just as long as he leaves.

Just because he signed for free doesn't mean he will leave for free. most clubs would be looking to make some money on a player and reading are no exception.

25 Jul 2013 23:31:55
portsmouth will complete their transfer buisness tomorrow, with rocha getting a 1 year contract, it will take pompeys sqaud up to 20, and they have 5 players in the development sqaud.

Final decision from RR on Monday, Guy has alternatives in mind, he wants an older head alongside Devera, Bradley and Webster

Do you think he will sign

Rotherham to bid for PNE forward stuart Beavon after being turned down by Matt Tubbs.

Can't see that Rotherham are nearly skint and at least 750K would be required.

Nearly skint? You're either skint or you're not, and Rotherham aren't by any stretch.

750K?! We signed him for 250K I'd take 200 for him! He's 29. Past his best. We will never get more than 200K for home.

How are we nearly skint and he's not worth 750 k

Pne are now only looking to offload Beardsley, no way Beavon is leaving he will be playing alongside Kevin Davies rotated with Ian Hume. With two good wingers added and a strong defence why would pne break up what will be one of the strongest front lines in league 1 this coming season. The signing of Kevin Davies shows that Pne mean business this season and the manger has the financial backing of a multi millionaire owner mr hemmings.

Matt Tubbs signs a six month loan for Rotherham so I cannot see Beacon leaving PNE
