Use our rumours form to send us football transfer rumours.

Heard from a good source that Arsenal looking for a swap deal with Chelsea – Adebayor for Essien plus/minus cash . . not sure which way round that would work.
First off all these rumours about keane and palacios leaving spurs are nonsense. Both are key members and were in a photoshoot today advertising new kits and will definitely be staying. Obvious rumour of bent to sunderland is almost certain to happen for roughly 10–12 million. should imagine pav is goin as well. Lots of rumours around spurs lodge that Ruud van nistlerooy as been spotted round the training ground and have it on a very reliable source that told me keane would be moving back to the lane 2 weeks before it happen that Peter Crouch will be a spurs striker next season.
also hear man city to offer 15 million euros plus elano for inter milans maicon.

The yiddo
West ham will complete the signing of Mancini from Inter Milan over the weekend. Lucas Neill will make a u–turn and be will be given a contract at the club again. Dean ashton is in talks with Stoke, but Villa and Tottenham are also said to be interested. However, Zola is keen to keep ashton as he sees him as a key player when fit. If Ashton does leave Zola sees Aquafresca or Caicedo as potential replacements. Man City have been told that Upson is not for sale, but city may test the hammers resolve by offering richards and 5,000,000 pounds in exchange for upson. Another rumour that is doing the rounds is that West Ham are the third unnamed club that are interested in Tevez. Other west ham targets include: Balotelli,Lustig,Jenas,S.Taylor,Dunne,Appiah.
  To the idiot who posted

Alonso. .REAL REASON HE'S GOING IS BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN CAUGHT WITH HIS TROUSERS DOWN BY HIS MISSUS. FACT. BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER 18MONTHS. .GOOD RIDANCE. .

I have recently met Alonso and his wife and this is absolute rubbish

  Man United News

– United were monitoring Sergio Asenjo during the under 21's international tournament. . I think they may be looking for a Edwin Van Der Sar replacement as he will be up for retirement within a season or 2.

– United's new number 7 will be one of the following:
. David Silva (Valencia)
. Karim Benzema (Lyon)
. David Villa (Valencia)
. Sergio Aguero (Athletico Madrid)
. Hatem Ben Arfa (Marseille)

Silva seems to be the most realsitic to me. . Benzema staying in France, Villa staying in Spain (As suggested by Fernando Torres) & Athletico putting a ridiculous price tag on Aguero.

– Few young ones expected to be at United either this summer or January:
. Douglas Costa
. Sergio Asenjo
. Dodo
Tevez is set to return to west ham and owen will join him up front!! this will be announced next week. watch this space. com'on you IRONS.
"Andrew driver will sign for burnley next week for 2mill. also burnley will sign gary caldwell frm rangers for 1.5mill." –
ERMMMMMMMM. . .one (no, two) small problems. . Cary Caldwell actually plays for Celtic and although he may well be tempted to move to the premiership, Burnley are way way down the pecking order. . Caldwell is good enough for teams ranked 6–15 in EPL. .please get facts right before posting rumours. . CELTIC – Look for 2 decent signings in the next week – 1 = Steven Fletcher, Hibs for £2.5m + a player (possibly Barry Robson) and a loan deal for John Kennedy (if Rob Jones goes) 2 = Lazio midfielder Mourad Meghni, the frenchman looks like surplus to requirements at Lazio and an offer of £3.75m–£4m will suffice.
Also to the bluenose that questioned Tony Mowbrays contract (1 year spells failure or summit). . the fact is most managers now sign a 1 year "rolling" contract, O'Neill and Strachan both had similar deals as does Mark McGhee at Aberdeen, John Hughes at Hibs. and probably half the premiership bosses. . it suits both parties!

If boyd goes to birmingham rangers will go for carew from villa and offer him champ league football you heard it hear first
  Birmingham city news. .

a striker is going to be brums next signing, names mentioned are–
kevin doyle,
steven fletcher,
nicklas bendtner.

gibbs from arsenal will be coming on loan for the season to play left back,

and a midfielder will be the final piece of the jigsaw, craig gardner the most likely mentioned so far.,
lee bowyer deal agreed also, july 1st announced.
  Arsenal

Deal for Chamakh already done, and will be announced early July. Assume Adebuymore to be offloaded (I saw this guy transform Arsenal when losing 2 nil to Portsmouth at home and he was immense. He was a shadow of this last year). Wenger looking to buy Melo to strengthen midfield.

Fabregas to stay unless a huge offer made.
Not been on her for a while, mostly every summer & in the past given info on everton, which all happened eg yakubu baines felliani & castillo. i know saying my friend told me is corny on this site but this is true, every summer he gives me moyes' list of targets. .last years was moutinho mbia downing owen vagner love etc. .This years list is as follows. .obviously efc are not signing them all |& these are the permanent deals happening, expect a couple of loans, maybe landon donovan. .if lescott leaves(everton want big money, moyes does not want him to leave but he wants to go). .moyes will except 1 of 3 deals 1) 22 million– jo on season long loan. 2) 13 million micah richards 3)17 million jo permanent 4 year contract. If city don't agree lescott will stay as he has 3 years contract. anyway if he leaves sir david will finally have a big bank balance, the list is (sorry for babbling on) jo, richards city
fernandes valencia, huth & downing boro, still in talks over michael owen, vagner love depending on price plus real madrid might jump in, huddlestone bent & bently spurs, s taylor toon, defour liege, moutinho & veloso sporting, mbia rennes, sissoko juventus, upson west ham, drenthe madrid & nani man utd. .they have already been turned down by robben, joaquin & pjantic who just joined bayern. .if lescott stays expect 2 from the list(i sound like earl hickey) if he leaves maybe upto 5. .with 2 loans & a few other lower profiles hunt, naughton, driver, ledley,. .i told you
To all the people sayin that darron gibson will be sold. . . . . . . . hes just signed a new deal this week.
AFC NEWS Arsenal will only sign 1 or 2 more players, a CB and a DM. Arsene said his priority is to keep the squad together so no 7 or 8 players as suggested on this site. If Ade leaves no striker will come as AW feels that there is enough firepower.
Toure is likely to leave so an expirienced CB will be brought, shortlist: Bruno Alves (Porto) 13mil Marquez (Barca) 9mil Hangeland (Fulham) 12mil Mexes (Roma) 10mil.
Cheers
Joe Ledley will be a Man City player, by the end of next week.

Man City will offer £3m and will exchange Chedwyn Evans and Kelvin Etuhu. They will also offer Michael Johnson on a season–long loan.

Dietmar Hammam will not drop to the Championship to play, and is in talks with Wolves about a possible one–year deal.
To the guy that said Xavi will be moving to some english club this season, you are 100% wrong. I moved to Barcelona about a year ago from the USA and i have been a life–long fan. I live near Xavi Hernandez in Terrassa, Barcelona and he is a family friend. I can assure you that he will be staying with FC Barcelona for his entire career.
VISCA BARCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sab, didn't mean to boil your pss over Livingston FC, and I know how much you care about them.

I'm simply repeating what I have been told. I work in asset recovery in Edinburgh, and we have dealt recently with Livingston FC so we know all about the problems there.

I wish Livingston all the best for this season, and I hope that they can see it out as well.
  MAN UNITED SIGNINGS
(I am told not to post the names directly. .so work it out. .)
United will sign two attackers –– 'AS' and 'SA' with the first one, who is being dubbed as someone, being a player of an Italian team and the latter one,who is being dubbed as another great ,is playing for a team which play in Liga BBVA. . .

United are also chasing a 'Monster' midfielder who plays in the premier league and who wears blue shirts. .

''Dead sparrow"
CELTIC: It is highly unlikely Celtic will sign anyone major before the first Champions League qualifier. Mowbray wants to see what his squad is like before signing anyone. Expect Boruc to be the biggest name to leave as Celtic have Fox and two new keepers in Zaluska and Cervi all to fight it out for the number one so no other keeper is required. Mowbray is going to make Gary Caldwell his captain and play him at the back with either O'Dea or Milan Misun with Kennedy and Loovens kept as back–up; McManus will be sold for as little as £3m. Wilson will be kept on with Naylor but a left back is the top priority. Celtic do not need a replacement for Nakamura as he has Maloney, McCourt, Mizuno, Caddis, McGinn and possibly Robson who can all play his position. Expect Flood to be loaned out to Dundee United. A complete clearout of strikers will happen: McDonald will be sold after the qualifiers, along with Samaras whereas Vennegoor will be freed with McGowan; Sheridan will be sent back out on loan, possibly back with Mark McGee to Aberdeen or Hibernian. Hutchison will be given his chance to form a partnership with Killen for the opening game in Australia. So Mowbray's priority– along with a left back– is a centre midfielder and at least two strikers. Simon Ferry will be given his chance to fill Hartley’s position as a defensive midfielder ahead of Crosas. Mowbray will look away from Fortune as he won't be allowed to spend in excess of £3m for a relatively unproven and unknown player in his late twenties and will not splash out on Fletcher as he is not a 20 goals a season striker.
OUT: BORUC (4m, Munich/Arsenal/ Milan), BROWN (free, Hamilton), MCMANUS (3m, Sunderland/Stoke), CUTHBERT (100k, Aberdeen, Dundee, Hibernian), DOUMBE (free), BALDE (free, Birmingham), HARTLEY (free, Salonika), NAKAMURA (free, Espanyol), DONATI (1m, Sampdoria), FLOOD (loan, Dundee United), SHERIDAN (loan, Aberdeen/Hibernian), MCDONALD (3m, Wigan/Hull), SAMARAS (1m, PSV), VENNEGOOR (free, Larissa), MCGOWAN (free, Dundee).
IN: ZALUSKA (free, Dundee United), CERVI (free, Chicago Fire), MEGHNI (3m, Lazio) MORIENTES (free, Valencia), STOKES (1m, Sunderland), ZEMMAMMA (nominal, Hibernian), WALLACE (2m, Preston) or MULGREW (1m, Aberdeen– deal involving Sheridan), DOYLE (6.5m, Reading).

(meanwhile…)RANGERS: Smith is looking to sensationally sign former Celtic striker Craig BEATTIE (200k, West Brom) and Billy MEHMET (300k, St. Miren) of what he feels is his ideal Champions League dream–team strike force alongside Kenny Miller. Boyd, Novo, Naismith, McGregor, Ferguson, Smith and Adam finally moving on.
SHOOTER
Stoke playing down the Dean Ashton story but a lot to be done. A thorough medical and wages are an issue to be sorted once he returns from honeymoon but he insists he wants to join. Fee will be in installments.

Beye will be the first Stoke summer signing from Newcastle with Toon still contributing wages. Stoke expected to pay around 35k a week for the want away defender.

Dave Kitson to return to Reading with former Stoke target Kevin Doyle going the other way if valuations can be agreed. In advanced stages. Doyle not keen on joining Wolves.

Matthew Etherington will cut short his stay in the Potteries to return back to London and Fulham.Stoke targetting an African winger as a replacement

Stoke also backed out of a proposed deal to sign Cisse
Rafa, after completing the signing of Johnson will now buy 2 more english players – Downing & Cattermole. LFC know they have to boost their english qouta for the new regulations.
Also, if Shearer doesn't become Newcastle manager, expect Rafa to bid for Steven Taylor and don't rule out a move by the reds for Dean Ashton if the Hammers accept Stoke's enquiry!
Right OK some of the rubbish that is getting posted on here is beyond insanity – even for this site!!

To the spurs fan who thinks we are going to swap second rate players who nobody else wants i.e – JENAS, HUDDLESTONE & BENT for top quality players such as ARTETA, LESCOTT & RODWELL my advice to you is to leave whatever it is you are on alone becuase I am afraid its making you dilusional.

Lescott to go to either city or chelsea 20M
Expect moyes to fill the void by shifting Rodwell centre back next season.

Bids will be made for mounthino or Defour – As everyone knows!

Apart from that I have no idea – the same as everybody else on here.

P.S. Will all them liverpool fans from norway, dover, london, china, etc. (pretty much everywhere apart from LIVERPOOL) stop saying your signing kun aguero its boring now and its not going to happen.

COYB – The TRUE pride of Merseyside
THE RANGERS will offload the following personel, by the end of July. . . . . .

Ferguson
Boyd
Adam
Velicka
Beasley
Webster
Gow

Three new Players will be signed for the new season, a centre/back, l.winger and striker, none will be big named signings, just players who will be good enough to help THE RANGERS retain the SPL title and keep the jungles in second or possibly third place.
UZHUNZ RULE SCOTLAND cause W.A.T.P.
Big hint that barnsley mean business rob kozluc has turned down 3 yr deal at palace to sign 1 yr deal at barnsley tidy ar in for beckford charlie adam hamill (loan) duberry and also a spanish striker on wish list ya heard it here 1st
Just a question more than anything else. As a beloved west ham fan for all my life, would love to see carlos and joey back at our club. I was just wondering to the person who backed the first rumour up, where do you get your information from to have such confidence that this transfer will go ahead ?
Arsenal to sign Wesley Schneider! Unfortunately Cesc has got too big for his boots and before we have another Ronaldo type on our hands it is time to cash in. Price is said to be in the range of £25 million but a part exchange could be more likely and £6 million extra. That will keep RVP at Arsenal as another Dutch star will arrive. Also expect Ryan Babel in the later stages of the window when Ade leaves for Milan.
To the guy that said he had spoken to his wife about some Sheffield Wednesday potential forwards from the clubs that have been promoted I have this response:
As a B'ham City fan I can tell you that Cameron Jerome is a player that is getting better and better with every year. He is in the Emile Heskey mould but will become much better than Heskey. Jerome has pace, wins everything in the air, and is strong some of these attributes Heskey has not even got. Not only this but Jerome is to be offered a new contract commanding a wage of 18k a week can Wednesday match that? Next season the guy will be in the Premiership why would he want to play for a mid–table Championship side? Even if this was not applicable can you afford the £5–6m transfer fee it would take to prise him away?
All the transfer rumours you've suggested for Wednesday are way out of the team budget range and ambition. You might be able to land one Birmingham forward in Marcus Bent who'll be out on loan. Otherwise NO CHANCE! You sure your wife did not mean the LEAGUE 1 promoted sides?
Some Liverpool news here. We have basically signed Glen Johnson, £18.5m with the £7m off the Crouch deal. Rafa has also said he has enough money to sign another big player WITHOUT SELLING. This tells me that a big player will be signed before and another one after sales. The player who we'll sign before the sales will be David Silva, it doesn't take a genius to work that out. £21m is the fee. We'll also sign Stewart Downing for £5m due to his injury. Then we'll start to sell. Dossena (£7m), Arbeloa (£8m), Lucas (£6m), Riera (£12m), Plessis (£3m)Mascherano (£50m no swaps), El Zhar (£1m), Anderson (£1m) and Voronin (£4m)leaving. This leaves us with another £132m to spend. With this we'll sign David Villa (£40m), who's keen to team up with his Spanish strike partner, Sergio Aguero (£25m +Benayoun), Micah Richards (£8m), Michael Johnson (£5m), Javi Martinez (£10m), Steven Defour (£8m) and ALvaro Negredo (P. Ex). I have forgot to mention that we are selling Xabi Alonso for £30m + Negredo.
To the idiot who posted this

My brother has just flew out to america and apparently michael owen was on his flight and apparently their was a car waiting at the other end to take him to los angelies . . possible holliday or possibly joining becks , who knows?

Do you really expect us to believe that garbage. Thats possibly the biggest load of bull ive heard on this website.

However whilst we are the michael Owen subject it is true that Stoke and Hull are interested in the signing him however he is not too keen on the move and is keeping his options open for bigger clubs. The head fan spokesmen at Aston Villa claims Owen has been spotted at Villa park but i don't know how truthul that is either.
Man United ins and outs and staying:

Nani, Brown and Giggs will all still be at OT for the start of next season.

OUT

Ronaldo – 80mill to Madrid
Tevez – nowt (obviously) to Man City
Kusczak – 2.5mill to CSKA Moscow
G Neville – Free to Bolton or Blackburn
Scholes – Free to Ipswich
Park – 7mill to UAE or Germany
Simpson – 2mill to a newly promoted EPL team
Campbell – 6mill to Hull

POSSIBLE OUTS

Manucho – 3 or 4mill to Brum or Wolves
Gibson – 2mill to Burnley
Berbatov – 20mill to Bayern

IN

Valencia – 16mill
A Young – 23mill
Douglas Costa – 13mill
Dodo – 5mill
Aguero – 40mill
Lamine Diarra – 15mill

Diarra will be out of Madrid once they sign Alonso from Liverpool.
ARSENAL are putting together a package for MICHAEL OWEN. Wenger is obviously concerned at his fitness but thinks that Owen could still bag him 15 goals next season. The deal will be an incentivised pay–as–you–play one year deal, with a further 2 years if Owen plays 25 games and scores 10 goals.

HARRY REDKNAPP is prepared to let TOM HUDDLESTONE, JERMAINE JENAS and DARREN BENT go, with EVERTON interested in all three players. Harry though has told Moyes that he would be looking to take MIKEL ARTETA, JACK RODWELL or even JOLEAN LESCOTT in part exchange.

The takeover of PLYMOUTH ARGYLE by Japanese buisness K&K Shohan will be completed before the end of June and manager Paul Sturrock has been promised £5m of funds to spend on players this summer. However, he has been warned that if the team does not shape up in the early stages, his job will be on the line. They do not want a repeat of the wasted £2.5m that Sturrock has blown on the current crop of garbage!!

Sturrock has also been instructed to cut out the deadwood and KRISZTIAN TIMAR, JIM PATERSON, YOAN FOLLY, STEVE MACLEAN, JERMAIN EASTER, CHRIS CLARK and RORY FALLON will all be moved on.
Sunderland have made a surprising £450,000 bid for Plymouth winger Yannick Bolasie, who has never made a first team appearance for Argyle. 19–year old Bolasie was signed in the summer from Maltese side Floriana and spent much of last season on loan at Barnet where he impressed with his blistering pace and outragous skill.
  ARSENAL INS: Vermaelen – £10million – DONE
Melo – £12million plus Senderos
the above are the only ones SURE to happen. All other deals are based on players leaving:
Richards/Sakho – £8–10million, ONLY if Gallas or Toure leave
Huntelaar – £12million, ONLY if Adebayor leaves
Hazard – £5million, youngster.
OUTS: Senderos p/e
Gallas – £6million
Toure – £13million (only one of Gallas/Toure to leave, if any)
Eboue – £7million
Gilbert – £1million
Randall – £1million
Adebayor – £23million
Predicted Arsenal squad for next season:
GK: Almunia Fabianski Mannone
RB: Sagna Hoyte
LB: Clichy Gibbs
CB: Toure Vermaelen Richards Djourou
Midfield (not set positions): Walcott Barazite Lansbury Arshavin Fabregas Melo Diaby Song Rosicky Nasri Traore Ramsey (Denilson, Wilshere, Merida to go out on loan)
CF: Huntelaar Van Persie Eduardo Bendtner Vela (Simpson out on loan).

other rumours: Benzema, Douglas Costa, Kun Aguero, Hangeland, Ashley Young, Lescott all to stay at current clubs for another season.
David Villa to Real Madrid
David Silva to Man Utd
Eidur Gudjohnsen to a mid table prem team
Franck Ribery to Barcelona
Ricardo Carvalho and Deco to Inter
Edin Dzeko to Milan
Michael Owen to Hull (waste of money)
Carlos Tevez to Man City
David Bentley to Villa
Peter Crouch to Blackburn
good players to tottenham (so that they can become mediocre).
David Beckham will join Chelsea on–loan in November after the MSL has finished. Watch this space. Beckham's contract with Adidas means they would be reluctant to let him go to a club who do not wear Adidas kit, and Carlo Ancellotti would welcome him with open arms.

Ancellotti is also prepared to let Deco, Ballack, Carvahlo, Ferreira and Bosingwa leave at the right price. Manchester City are considering an offer for Ballack!!
To the person that posted the following:

Burnley have completed signing of Tyrone Mears for £1million and are expected to complete signing of Andrew Driver by the weekend for £2.5million

–––––––––––––––

Mears is on holiday until next week, so no deal can possibly be completed. Driver will not be coming to Turf Moor either or at least not for that fee.

We (Burnley) have been linked with Balde today, but that will not happen. There will however be a left winger singing for the Clarets in the next 7 days. A centre half will also be coming. I will post names on Monday.

The Jason Scotland bid was not official, but was talked about in an attempt to push the player to orchestrate a move. Once he does put in a transfer request, then Burnley will step in with a 1.25 million offer. Unless a bidding war with Wigan starts Scotland will move to Burnley and rekindle his working relationship with Coyle.

2 season long loan deals also expected to be completed mid–July. 1 is an experienced Premier player and the other is a young gun.
To insider manc. . just a technicality but rio ferdinand hasnt previously failed a drugs test, he was banned after being found guilty of deliberately missing a drugs test.I have it on very good authority indeed that he wasnt taking any unlawful substances anyway, though the full story which i do know was kept out of the papers.By the way im an LFC fan so i don't usually come to the defence of manu players!
Liverpool are preparing to follow up the capture of Glen Johnson with a suprise move for Davivd Villa the fee is believed to be around £40m, Rafa is apparently confident of getting his man after Madrid declared themselves out of the running and Barcelona refusing to meet the asking price which is thought to of annoyed Villa.
Liverpool are now financial stable following the sale of gilettes 80% stake in his nhl team as alot of you will already now it is hicks who is the wealthier of the two men however as thy both own 50% of kop holdings each (liverpools parent company which they set up to buy lfc) hickstold gilette to either sell some assests to raise capital of sell his stake in kop holdings. now that the mony is available the loans will be brought upto date and refinanced rafa will be handed a transfer budget of £30m plus player sales, which was promised to him before he signed his new contract, however the money to buy villa if the bid is succesful will not come out of rafa's budget as the owners feel they need to make a big money signing to show intent and to hopefully get the Liverpool supporters back on side if they are to remain at the healm of the club.

players in:
Glen Johnson 17.5m (inc. 6m owed for crouch) done.
David Villa £40m 80% chance
micah richards 7m 75% chance
i'll try to keep you upto date with other possible signings when i hear more.

players out:
Arbeloa – Real Madrid 100%
Dossena – 2 italian clubs intrested 95%
Itandje – 100%
Voronin – 100%
Leto – 70%
Mascherano – 60%
there may be 1 or two others leaving aswell however it all depends if clubs meet rafa's valuations of such players ie. babbel, riera and wether he can bring in quality replacements.

  MASSIVE NEWS
Sergio Aguero to Man utd for 40m
To the muppet who said ivan sproule will sign for celtic, the man is a die–hard, and i mean die–hard rangers fan, this rumour is definately a no go. to some real rumours expect rangers to snap up more northern irish players, such as chris brunt of west brom and warren feeney of cardiff, apparently walter likes the desire and work–rate which is evident in most northern irish players at rangers especially davis and little (reserve player who is going to be big).

in the EPL ive hard that the mystery take–over has in deed been Liverpool, but everything is on the hush hush in the hope that they won't be explioted by other clubs looking to up their valuations of their players. rafa's first choice is david villa, because of his inept understanding with torres, imagine torres, villa, gerrard.
news in chelsea does not look great, they have made many bids and been rejected, however they have been bidding for the right type of player pato, kaka etc. if ancoletti (spelling) can hit the ground running and maybe add another decent striker (kalou and de santo do not make the grade)
i would expect chelsea or liverpool to be at the very top come the end of next season. This is my opinion and before all you glory hunting united fans jump down my neck, think about it (i'm actually a rangers and leeds fan). chelsea's midfield consisting of essien, lampard and ballack, while liverpool have alonso, gerrard and masscerano, man united have scholes, giggs, anderson, carrick etc. and before you united fans starts shouting about giggs being player of the season, please take your heads out of your backsides and wise up. i know which midfield i'd rather have. but it all depends on how united speand their transfer kitty. they will have to replace ronaldo, tevez, giggs and scholes. and before arsenal fans start ranting on me. i have every faith in arsenal pushing for the league, however it all depends on that holding midfield role, i'd personally love to see viera back for a season to teach denilson and whoever else the trade.
players to be on fire next year include arshavin, rooney, etc etc.
my dad is a keen spurs fan with a few connections and apparently SAF has warned Anderson that this year he really has to step up to the grade with Modric apparently on his radar.

broxi bear
  Livi rumour

All the players say the club is a shambles but all players have been told if they talk to the press they will be released. When the players haven't been paid the players were considering striking and he actually came in with a suitcase full of crisp new notes and paid to the penny! If there was no cash to pay wages then where did this come from?

A few players want to go but are tied into deals and have families so can't take the chance of getting no wage at all!

Massone doesn't need or care about money at Livi, why would an Italian lawyer buy Livi? PROFIT? No! SUCCESS? No! Why is he trying to set up feeder clubs in Italy where he sent 2 decent players and 2 from youth team that are terrible??? Make want you want from the last few statements but if they go bust do you think he'll have lost any sleep or money?!

  RedReport
Takeover is not happening. .that i can assure you. but there could be some outside invesment with third party comming in to join Hicks and Gillet. .nothing concrete though.
As for Signings. .considering Masch and Xabi will stay Benitez will make 1 more first team signing. David Silva being his no.1 option with Mata being the just in Case. .other than this only youngsters will sign.
Now if Masch leaves which is looking increasingly likely Rafa will accept either 35 million straight 25million pus Bojan or 15 million plus Bojan and Busquets(this is unlikely)He will then bid for Cana for 12 mil and add 20 million to the Silva money and bid 40 million for David Villa.
Now if both leave then it will be Liverpool with a 35(masch)+40(xabi)+20 (remaing transfer money)= 95 million. .then bids for Javi Martinez 11mil anc Cana (12–14 mill) make it 70 with which Rafa wiil bring in one of villa or Aguero and Mata.Remaing Cash will go into cover debt.
Hownever don't get excited as Alonso should remain at anfield which makes the second option more likely. .2 those who choose to slate my rumour. pls do so as i will be happy to explain any faults u find in it.
To the person that posted about Arsenal raidng Real Madrid:– Mamadou Diarra was injured for most of the season, which is why he wasn't playing. If you seriously think Wenger will bid £8million try Lithium. You'll need it if this is true!

There are regulars from LFC and AFC posting here and often it makes good sense if not always reality. In Arsene We Trust in particular. I'm more of In Harry We Hope since nothing in the press or on here makes much sense. If its Cuddlestone to Fulham, he won't be at Sunderland. If its Jenas to Villa (For £7million. youre dreaming) he won't be in Milan, Everton. OK. We beleive Spurs will be moving palyers on, but does anybody seriously think Jenas, Zokora, and Cuddlestone will ALL go? I know Palacios is good but unless Harry can clone him only Zoro will leave.

Unless there's a manager that thinks he can get more from ipod (Huddlestone) and Diamond Geezer Bentley as focused and commited professionals no–one will want them, Redknapp is known to be a realist so expect others to back his judgement and NOT to think they can do better. Perhaps Roy H at Fulham is an exception. Look at Danny Murphy who Curbishley accused of having his eye on the bright lights and the cash when he joined Spurs.
To the lad who posted on Shearer becoming manager – maybe so but the rest of your info is rubbish.
If I were a betting man, and as an NUFC fan for 25 years, I'd put money on administration at NUFC and Mike Ashley dragging his heels over the price of the club before a take–over is complete in between 4–8 weeks time. Yes, it will take this long to complete so Hughton to be in charge come next week for the forseeable.
Reports coming from spain say that liverpool, real madrid and arbeloa, havecome to a agreement for the player to swop clubs, but it may not be announced until after he comes back from the confederations cup, next week.
I have also heard the rumour of a Manchester Untied player failing a drug test! Second test results are awaited before its announced offically.
Liverpool will now hold on to Xabi Alonso.

Dossena, Arbeloa, Leto, Voronin, Itjande, Anderson, Hobbs and a few others will leave raising around 18mil. This money will be put together with another £12mil from the board together sign Marouane Chamakh for 8mil and surprisingly Douglas Costa for 13mil rising to 19mil.
  West Ham
To the guy who said about Tevez holding out for a move to his beloved West Ham and a loan deal being done for Joe Cole, you are spot on mate. The people buying West Ham want those two players back at any cost. The take over is being handled by Kia Jorabchin and one of the conditions of his involvement was that they get Tevez outright. Cole is a season loan with first option to buy, same as Jimenez deal. Two other Inter players being negotiated with (Balotelli and Mancini). If the take over goes ahead then consideration will be given to trying to buy Rossi (the ex Man Utd player) but Man U do have first option.
The crap on here about Robert Green is just that. He does want to stay but wants parity in pay which is fair enough. Very highly likely that Upson will be going. If Upson goes then they are looking at a couple of Italian defenders. They have also looked at the possibility of Camoronasi. They have also been looking at Davide Santon, again from Inter.
Just spoken with the wife(don't ask!) of a Wednesday member of staff, who has told me that they will be signing a forward from one of the promoted sides into the prem. .and also a charlton midfielder.
She didn't/couldn't mention names. .
Jerome/Birmingham?
Vokes/Keogh–Wolves?
Blake/Burnley?
Zheng Zhi/Charlton?
Bailey/Charlton?
  ARSENAL– Matuidi–Saint Etienne
CHELSEA– Bruno Alves– Porto// Ribery–Bayern Munich// Zhirkov
EVERTON– Moutinho–Sporting Lisbon + Pennant–Liverpool.
MAN CITY– Kolo Toure– Arsenal
MAN UNITED– Robben–Real Madrid.
I had the great pleasure of bumping into a groundsman at the Emirates last night in the Conservative club just by the stadium! Unfortunately he didnt have any inside info but he did say to me that Arsene has got one surprise for everyone as he has nearly completed a transfer of a very well known high profile player but he told me it has been kept so well guarded even the staff / coaches etc at the Emirates are trying to guess who it is!!!

Great hearing the news last night but doing my barnet in trying to figure out who it is!!

Hey ho, suppose i will just have to wait and wonder!!

P.s i wish the 'so called paper' the sun would stop printing rubbish and just make up stories each day!!
I live in Spain (Valencian region) and on the radio this afternoon they are saying LFC have bid 38 million for David Villa, yet to be confirmed.
Liverpool will allow Albert Riera to return to Spain for a fee of £12mil. They will then make a loan deal to take Stewart Downing to Anfield with an option to buy for 13mil at the end of the year.

They will use this cash. plus around 12mil move from the owners and another 16mil raised by other player sales to sign:

Marouane Chamakh (8mil)
Kyle Naughton (5mil)
Javi Martinez (14mil)
Alan Dzageo (10mil)
The amount of dreaming on the majority of posts here is truely unparalelled!

Lets turn to reality. Do you all remember when a certain Mr Ferguson picked up his phone and dialled Mr Howard Wilkinson in the early 1990's and. . as Mr Ferguson posesses that eye for a talent. . he asks for the availibility of Lee Chapman. Now, Mr Wilkinson flatly refuses to discuss Lee Chapman and cheekily asks Mr Ferguson for the availibility of Dennis Irwin. This results in the same reaction. Now the next 60 seconds of that conversation changed the destiny of football for the next 15 years. .

Mr Wilkinson then kindly offers Mr Ferguson a certain Eric Cantona. . Ferguson must have been thinking 'is he winding me up?'. . and before Ferguson can make any type of response, Wilkinson adds '1.2m pounds'. The rest is a blurred history!

The moral to the story. . No matter how bad a player's lifestyle/habits/temperament. . its always worth a cheap punt – if you think, as a manager, you can handle him.

This leads onto extremely low lying rumours circulating about a certain player who was the creme de la creme no longer than 18 months ago, and now nobody seems to want him. including his fellow countryman Jose Mourinho. It has shades of Eric's story. .

The boy has bags and bags of talent, and if handled and managed correctly, can at this stage of his career, without doubt become the next coup of the decade – the man in question is Ricardo Quaresma – the price tag is reportedly just 6m GBP – and the manager in question is. . Rafael Benitez and Liverpool FC.

Watch this very big space. . .
  Some facts if I may.

Veloso "WILL" be coming to the Premier League, and has spoken with Man City, Arsenal & Bolton. Expect a move to Arsenal as long as they don't lose their bottle over the fee. His relationship with the management at sporting has completely broken down and he is being moved on for the sake of both parties.

Madrid "WILL" sell all of their Dutch Players, Huntelaar is on Man U's radar after Tevez departure but also has offers from Germany, Italy and France.

Tevez "WILL" sign for City very soon and City will offload Caicedo, Wigan said to be interested.

Now for some more tenuous stuff.

Toure to Man City now a possibility after the Signing of Vermalaen as he Will want to be the bigger fish with regular first team action as opposed to being pushed down the Arsenal pecking order. If this happens or even more unlikely City manage to prize Lescott from Everton, Dunne will be quickly dispatched off to Sunderland.

Chelsea will try and get Pato and fail.

Mr Speaker.
Doncaster rovers won't be selling any players this season and they won't be spending any money on players as they are getting season long loans in from premiership teams and they will be:

sam vokes
Nathan Delfounso
Shaleum Logan plus with an optin of permanent deal for 400k
vladimir weiss with an option of permanent deal for 350k

and short term loans are
Jay Spearing
martin kelly

the reason i know these deals are because i work for wolverhampton wanderers and speak alot with o'driscoll and mickey walker and they have been keeping there eye on all these players since last season and they hope they can sign a few of them on permanent deals at the end of the next season!

up the wolves!
A lot of people on this website are not informed at all about transfers involving the spanish league. .
1. Bojan has just repeated that he WILL stay with FC Barcelona. Bojan wants to stay at barca for life and Guardiola and Laporta want the same.
2. Yaya Toure will not be leaving and has come back from his vacation to sign a new and improved contract until 2012.
3. Samuel Eto'o has come out and said that he wishes to stay with the club for at least one more season, Guardiola also wants him to stay
4. If Aguero leaves Atletico Madrid he will go to barca because Leo Messi is his best friend(that is a fact) and messi has convinced the club to go after him.
5. Victor Valdes will be staying with the club and he has just signed a contract extension until 2014 or 2015.
6. Mascherano is a strong possibility and Bojan will not be included in the deal!
7. Yuri Zhirkov has said that "Barca is my first option" and if barcelona gave him a deal, he would not be able to refuse. FCB is Zhirkov's dream club.
8. Ashley Young could make his way to the Camp Nou this summer if the price is right (this will only be a possibility if Robinho does not come to barca)
9. You may also see these players wearing a blaugrana jersey next season: Filipe Luis, Henrique(return from loan), Bruno Alves, and some promotions
This is just from the top of my head and i am sure i have missed some transfer news/rumors
VISCA BARCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've noticed on a few occasions how highly some people "in the know" rate Alberto Manucho, who spent the second half of last season on loan to Hull City from Manchester United. Couple of questions for you, HOW IS HE WORTH £5–7MILLION? I'm a season pass holder at the K.C. and seen a fair share of away games so have definitely seen more of him than you. This lad is shocking! Absolute DOG TOD!
£5–7million? Sweet baby Jesus! I WOULDN'T PAY 57 AIR MILES FOR HIM.
Keep it real
SHABBA!!
David Villa has openly stated several times that he WILL NOT be moving to any english clubs. David Villa loves Spain and the Spanish La Liga and wants to stay.
FC Barcelona have reportedly made an offer of between 50 to 65 million euros, and Villa would prefer to join Barca over an english club. Liverpool think they will get David Villa because Real Madrid have backed off(due to their interest in Arbeloa), but he WILL NOT move to England.
Don't expect Barca to announce any of their transfers until July 1st because that is when the new season's transfer money is made available.
VISCA BARCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To the guy that said 'Andrew driver will sign for burnley next week for 2mill. also burnley will sign gary caldwell frm rangers for 1.5mill.'

Caldwell plays for Celtic, you Pillock.

Anyway, Boruc to leave, has sent letter published in a Polish newspaper saying goodbye to the celtic fans.
Ross Turnbull to sign and challenge Zaluska for no1 spot
Ok, here is the low down on a few different transfer rumours.

– Tevez is 100% gone to Man City – they have offered 30M for him, 5 year deal and he and his agent have agreed.
– Fabregas is unhappy at Arsenal and is expected to leave to Madrid or Barca early July, possibly in exchange with some of those clubs players, or it could be a straight money for player transfer for around 25M.
– Lescott is in talks with various clubs who are interested mainly from England, but enquiries have been made from clubs in Italy and Spain. He is most likely off to Man City or Chelsea for a fee in the region of 20M – 25M.
– Aguero is likely to leave Athletico Madrid to most likely Man Utd for around 30 – 35M. Expect this news around early – mid July.
– Mascherano is GONE. He has signed for Barca for either 30M or 20M with Yaya Toure offered in part exchange.
– Costa is going to Man Utd for 13M once Gremio give in. Which WILL happen.
– Sneijder has been spotted in London, which raises suspicion to where he is off to. Maybe Spurs with Robben?

You heard it here first, my sources (can't say) are pretty reliable and I would say most if not all of these will happen.

Just a few rumours from League 1; massively under–stated on this forum:
Having secured Mark Wright and Gary Dicker, Brighton are looking to add a touch more class to thir midfield by bidding for Coventry outcast Kevin Thornton, who previously spent a spell on loan at The Withdean. Looking like good times for the Albion under Bloom and Slade.
Promotion favourites Leeds (:S) have replacements lined up to replace dynamo Jermaine Beckford. Some names are Micheal Mifsud, Danny Graham, Billy Sharp, Glenn Murray and David Healy. I have to agree that the latter is unlikely, but I am also hearing rumours concerning Crewe's wantaway playmaker Micheal O'Connor. Could it be a NI double–act at Elland Road?
The MK Dons have been linked with Brighton full–back Andy Whing to add further steel to their backline. However, with the right–back set to sign a new deal now at The Withdean, this looks unlikely.
Millwall could let Lenny Pidgeley and Gifton Noel–Williams leave, to make way for confirmed signing John Sullivan and possible target Trésor Kandol. However, the DR Congo frontman is more convinced by Charlton.
John Barnes could be looking around Anfield for some youngsters to have a kick–about with. Same old story really. Robbie Threlfall perhaps?
Oldham are set to target Aberdeen forward Tommy Wright as a replacement for Dean Smalley, who could join Norwich. Finally, Southend United could look to take Romone Rose on loan from QPR.

No quirks today, Malcolm Shaffer

  Manchester United Transfer News:

Manchester United have accepted an offer from Reading for Danny Welbeck believed to be around £4m
And Lee Martin is on his way to Everton on loan (as back–up for the Toffee's injury prone strikers)

Also United have supposedly rejected an £18m offer from Spurs for Nemanja Vidic (who wouldn't have wanted to leave anyway) and an £11m offer from another Premiership team for Patrice Evra.

As for the players coming in at United:
Arjen Robben will hold talks with his former club Chelsea aswell as at Old Trafford, but Robben is thought to prefer a move to Manchester. (I predicted this one a while ago and it looks like its getting closer to reality)
  One for the minorities.

Gary Harkins of Partick Thistle is set to sign for Dundee.
