Ed not sure if you updated this site recently as I have posted not gossip but NEWS that Brighton have completed the loan of Simeon Jackson from Norwich until the end of the season

Allen B&H

If so, you have got a decent Premiership striker. If Norwich played 2 up front he would always be in the team. Good luck to Simeon and to Brighton & Hove Albion. Hope to see you in the Prem next season.

CanaryTom

Latest news seems to suggest Jackson is not a done deal & we may be looking at Peter Lovenkrands instead

Hughton stopped this from happening.

Source The Argus

This isn't news, this has never been confirmed. Norwich said no one will be leaving the club

Argus reports that the Jackson deal is off as Norwich do not want to risk losing a striker at this stage of the season

Its just been confirmed Jackson will not be signing for the Albion -source chris houghton, norwich manager

Just announced that Simeone NOT going to BHA on loan--2 hrs to go sort this one out!--getting a loan striker, that is!

For god sake just get messi it's a slight risk as he hasn't had any championship experiance but sometimes you just have to take risks

Another bandit on Swindons Board, thats if they still have a club.
As Port vale about Deakin mmmmmmmmmmmmm whole thing stinks

Zoumana Bakayoga has agreed to join PNE in the summer. Also reports, from a reliable source at Tranmere, say Bell-Baggie may follow to join up with Simon Grayson.

Cant see it myself

I doubt that either will be joining. no doubt every half decent footballer from League 1 to the confrence will be mentioned between now and August as joining PNE.

More Preston fans dreaming again! bell baggie has just signed a deal till 2015 and zoom is in negotiations find another team to pick players from as your basically just trying to recreate tranmere a few miles down the road wasn't our keeper the rumour a few days ago.

It's bakayogo and doubt bell baggie will join he's just signed a 2 year deal!

Preston being linked with everyone again wasn't westleys recruiting last summer not good enough

27 Mar 2013 10:31:03
pne will not take players from tranmere they will look to championship or prem signings and before anyone says preston dnt have money grayson has said he will have funds for signings, if we would of got rid of westley a few months early we would be in top 6

I agree about westley leaving sooner i'm a tranmere fan and we got battered against preston lucky to get a draw decent side just westley couldn't get them playing doubt bell baggie will leave and zoom has been linked with championship clubs

27 Mar 2013 17:45:13
i think preston will go for players grayson as worked with in the past. he will bring at least 6 new faces in the summer

26 Mar 2013 19:16:54
Ben Parker on trial at Oldham, played in today's reserve game at CR against Hull

26 Mar 2013 19:10:33
Would love to see Norwich go for Vydra from Watford in the summer-looks a great young player with a huge future! Him/Wolfswinkle/Holt and sign up Kei and we are looking strong up top for next year!

Good luck. He'll cost far too much (more than Van Wolfswinkel).

Norwich wouldn't be able to afford him

Vdyra is not a watford player he is a Udinese player. Sure they are owned by the same owner but so are a number of teams. He is there as it is mutually beneficial.

You can't sign him he has 4 years on his contract and is not for sale the new owners rejected an 11 million bid from Spurs in January

The Pozzo's (Watford's owners) have already turned down a rumoured £13m from Spurs for Vydra, can't see Norwich being able to top that. If Watford go up Vydra will be staying at Vicarage Road.

27 Mar 2013 08:28:55
Even if Watford do not go up the owners would like to keep Vydra there this is due to him helping them get promoted to the premiership which can bring in a lot more money

27 Mar 2013 17:56:17
My best friend is Juventus fan and once he said next season Wydra is our player. I believe him.

Well if your friend is a jive tues fan then of course this must be true

nick powell to sign on loan for peterborough united by thursday

Ferguson said in a fans Q&A on Saturday that Nick Powell would not be coming to London Road. He also said SAF has told him he is a big part of his plans at OT

I hope so. Love to see him at Peterborough.

Aaron Chapman who is currently on Chesterfields radar is now a target for Sheffield Utd. At the moment Chesterfield are still the favourites but watch this space.

27 Mar 2013 12:22:55
So Bolton have let Kev Davies go as predicted, you watch him pull a Spireites shirt on next season, he always said he would come back to us and he will, be assured.

Its not about money its because Chesterfield gave him a chance when he was throw out by Sheffield United's youth squad.

Not on Chesterfields radar at all the only association he's got with Chesterfield is he once played there in the Derbyshire Cup

How FUNNY Who are you!
Did he not then have the great game for Chesterfield at Old Trafford in the 1997 FA Cup Semi Final. Or did us Town fans get duped and told it was the FA cup instead of the Derbyshire Cup.

Read the original post its about Chapman not Davies How funny are you now

So how come your post is a day behind my post!! even funnier

Aston Villa to sign James Milner back on loan from mancester city this summer. Jolean Lescott also coming. Benteke has revealed on twitter he will sign a 7 year contract extension at the villa. SOTC

Benteke does not want to spend 7 yrs in the championship.

7 year deal. Its long term contracts that have got teams in trouble before. Don't post silly nonsense. {Ed034's Note - he Amy sign it, but if the right money is offers, he will soon be gone. Can't see it being seven years myself, but them I can't see him being in a villa top come the start of next season

I think Lambert has bound himself to Benteke & can't see him selling him - till possibly next year, to prove he's not a 1 season wonder & get some more cash for the big man.

27 Mar 2013 19:48:52
Benteke is being eyed up by Inter, so he, ll be away whether or not Villa go down.

Really don't think so. Bigger clubs such as Norwich, spurs and Juve interested. You wouldn't commit to 7 years in champ/ league 1 would you?

Benteke said yesterday in an interview he'll be a Villa player definitely if he's playing EPL football next season.

Since when were Norwich a bigger club than villa? DELUDED

Another silly Canary listing Norwich as a big club. Always appears that a particular Canary constantly comments about Villa. Perhaps he has a cheep on his shoulder because PL saw the long term and knew Villa would be a much better option and moved on. On Benteke, if an offer of £25m was to come along then Lerner will tell PL to sell him and find another striker of similar standard at a bargain price. Perhaps Norwich would like to sell everything, players, ground and anything else that they can find and then add £15m cash, they might have enough to buy Big Ben.

26 Mar 2013 14:31:52
Perry Deakin will be joining the Swindon Town board in the summer, with Banbury manager Brian Stein also taking on the role as Football in the Community officer.

Be afraid, be very afraid

The term "Nil paid shares" springs to mind.

26 Mar 2013 18:05:56
Mark Roberts, the Stevenage captain was the subject of a failed bid from League One leaders Doncaster last summer. Rovers are likely to go back in for him this summer

26 Mar 2013 17:00:56
Toni Silva to sign on loan from Barnsley today

For who? please finish your
post and give info

Dagenham and Redbridge for a months loan

Silva has got a lot to learn, very quick, hope he does well

Needs to get 1st team football we are paying him to play in reserves at minute! going to be a the un though

26 Mar 2013 15:55:19
From a very very close source spurs have been sniffing around max power for a couple of weeks now after a great season for us and are preparing to make an offer from him in the summer!

26 Mar 2013 15:52:45
Huddersfield to make a move for Kevin Davies

So are Wednesday, Leicester, Derby, Ipswich and Sheffield United. He will sign for any of them before town

Maybe liecester but why go wednesday ipswich or sheff utd? {Ed034's Note - because he has more of a chance at playing at the other three and at the stage of his career, that will be the deciding factor I would expect

Yea bet he can't wait to play for sheff united . not.

27 Mar 2013 10:10:30
And because Kevin Davies is a Sheffield United fan, he says he would love to play a hand full of games for us before he hangs up his boots.

27 Mar 2013 12:46:50
He won't go too far as his family are settled in Bolton. Dean should offer him a testimonial with funds going to charity and invite all the Bolton fans to give them chance to say 'thank you'. He can travel from Bolton to Huddersfield daily and would be a great addition in terms of talent and experience. At least he would give 100% instead of that waste called Beckford!

Because whoever said that's second comment is either a bradford or leeds fan.

On his wages?! That why Bolton are getting rid. Town made the mistake of Beckford, don't see it happening again.

26 Mar 2013 15:24:38
Massive news coming out of west brom today. Steve clarke has decided that the best way to deal with peter odemwingie is to make him play in the league below till the end of the season. He has contacted sean o'driscoll at bristol city and he has accepted him. This news will be announced in the next few days, in time for when bristol city take on derby

Ed can you put this on the rumours sites please, even though its shocking, i'm shocked as any to find this out.

Peter "whatshisname" doesn't need to go anywhere he doesn't want to! Play him, don't play him, train with the youngsters, don't come in at all, he's singed a contract with west Brom.

Why didn't we get rid at the window, crazy decision

Not true!

28 Mar 2013 12:11:41
Pretty sure City will not be getting Peter Odembumface.

Though he would certainly fill the need for a striker that can play as one up top, and WBA seem keen to get rid of him, and its only down the road.

It would actually solve a lot of problems.

Details are emerging from a PNE fans forum last night:

It appears that one of the players leaving PNE in the summer will be striker Stuart Beavon.

It seems he and his wife haven't settled in the area or at the club and he's looking for a return down south at the end of this season.

Lee Holmes will also be returning to Swindon after they made an offer of around £100k in Jan but PNE were holding out for more money.

Absolute nonsense.

I attended the forum last night. There was definately no mention of Stuart Beavon and his wife at all. Also Lee Holmes, was one of the 4 PNE players who attended, and he stated he fully expects to be at PNE next season and help their push for promotion. The 4 players were very keen to state how all the squad are very positive in training and playing under Simon Grayson.

If you went, did you miss the bit where it was said Swindon had made a bid for Lee Holmes in the Jan transfer window but PNE couldn't agree a fee?

Seems Lee was willing to go back.

Same with Beavon. It was said that PNE were prepared to sell Beavon in Jan because he and his wife were not happy in the area.

We must have been at a different meeting!

I also went to the forum. PNE players Scott Laird, Keith Kean, Lee Holmes, John Welsh were the only players in attenance. All 4 had positive opinions for next season, and came over as very genuine guys. Lee Holmes is a very good footballer evidently not only Swindon but other clubs would like him to sign for them. Westley is history now, and Simon Grayson obviously will have complete new ideas on how to take PNE forward. He has stated there will be "ins and outs" over the summer. Also if you want to look at Lee Holmes own views next season with him at PNE, I suggest you look at his posting on todays LEP.

Not sure other team players would want to "gossip" where one of their own teamates wives wanted to live or not. seems a bit of "made up" rumour to me!

The same "Rumour" is also on the another site

Seems Holmes was going back to Swindon and Beavon isn't settled in the area.

I was also told by a lad who lives in the same flats as Jack King & Mousinho in Lytham that Larry is desperate to keep Beavon next season but his wife wants to move back south. {Ed034's Note - have had to edit the opening line as it has another website name on it. Sorry we cannot promote other sites

Well this lad must be getting mixed up and confused. Cus, Jack King shares a house with Bailey Wright and Mousinho shares a house with his mate Byrom.

26 Mar 2013 14:12:52
Stevenage defender Mark Roberts is signing for Oxford United on a free transfer at the end of the season.

If roberts leaves it will be to a league 1 club not league 2

27 Mar 2013 18:43:57
Will be Graham Westleys first signing, when he takes over!

26 Mar 2013 14:10:08
Robbie Keane is in talks for a transfer to West Brom from LA Galaxy in the summer.

No chance. Wouldn't touch him.

He wouldn't go to west brom as they are rivals to villa the club that he played for

He has just signed a new contract at LA Galaxy.

This is clearly far from true, he's past his best, a former dingle, and has even expressed his dislike for West Brom!

27 Mar 2013 14:59:26
He dislikes West Brom and West Brom fans dislike him. Not going to happen.

26 Mar 2013 13:15:49
Birmingham City Ins/outs

Out:

Stephen Carr
Pablo Ibanez
Morgaro Gomis
Nikola Zigic
Akwasi Asante
Adam Rooney
Fraser Kerr

In:

andrew shinnie
Steven Doris
Matt Smith
Tom Pope

The outs are plausible except they will not release Asante and no-one will take on Zigic wages. You can add Caldwell to the outs.

26 Mar 2013 12:33:12
When does the loan window shut? {Ed034's Note - thursday

Cheers Ed

26 Mar 2013 15:42:51
Plenty of time for Wolves then. Not

26 Mar 2013 11:53:48
Derby stopper Frank Fielding on way to Leeds for loan move prior to permanent deal in summer, Cloughie wants him to stay buit cannot guarantee first place but Leeds will. ?

Aiden White going other way in part ex deal.

Frank won't go on loan before his move. It will simply be a straight forward permanent transfer in the summer.

Aiden White in a part exchange would be about right. As to the two players have similar values and Leeds and Derby have compatible transfer targets i. e a left back for dcfc and a gk for lufc

Frank will be in goal for derby againt Bristol on Saturday. The summer may be different though

26 Mar 2013 15:23:21
Hope Frank not in goal Saturday Rams play Friday night!

I'd be surprised if we sold him. Just coming back into the team, had a solid game against Leicester and, to top it all off, was very passionate after the game (kissing the badge). If he hadn't played that game, maybe. If Clough wants to sell someone, they don't play, simple as.

Lufc don't need a gk got kenny and ashdown already as for white leaving for derby not a chance

I would be surprised as well if Frank left during the season, as he is our number one. Hope he keeps a clean sheet on Friday and maybe Clough might buy him an Easter Egg

27 Mar 2013 10:17:35
Utter rubbish. Get a grip. Leeds don't need a keeper, so why would they exchange a promising Academy-product (plus cash!) for a keeper who appears to have had his time in the limelight already. White is worth more than Fielding, simple as, and he signed a new deal this season, in case you forgot.

Leeds may be in a habbit of selling their best players. but not to derby. Manchester white

26 Mar 2013 11:43:29
Conor Sammon starting for Ireland! in press conference Ireland manager said 'he's direct, fast and aggresive'. errrh? are we talking about the same Sammon?

rumour that Theo back for us in summer as he is 'unwanted' despite agents touting him around, Tyson can go on a free. Derby in for Monk from Swansea (seen as replacement for Barker who will not return until new year at very earliest despite reports of him starting to run in pre-season. )

Derby watching young Newcastle striker Campbell with view to season long loan next year.

Don't want Theo back.

28 Mar 2013 10:34:59
Campbell would be fine addition to u-21's and hope to come on like Freeman and Jacobs, young striker looks a bit 'Rooney-esque' but could do well.

Mason Bennett to go out on loan to Walsall as part of deal to bring Will Grigg to Pride Park much like Keogh and Ball deal last season. Ball to go back into development squad or be released as he couldn't hack it at Cov.

26 Mar 2013 11:14:15
Walsall top scorer Will Grigg is posed to sign a new 2 year deal with the club following the news that captain Andy Butler has agreed an new contract with the saddlers. Grigg has had a phenomenal campaign with the Walsall as he has already scored 19 goals this season and is set to commit to the saddlers to repay manager Dean Smith for putting his faith in him.

26 Mar 2013 10:49:11
Northampton town close to signing Bradford nhaki wells on loan to be made permanent in the summer.

Go home, you're drunk

Are you from outer space! Why would he make a sideways move? He still has a 3 year deal so would have to buy him.

26 Mar 2013 10:03:11
Any Luton Town News Ed? {Ed034's Note - no sorry

26 Mar 2013 09:27:34
Adkins has got the Reading Job!!
First game in charge agains you know who Southampton!

No it isn't - it's against Arsenal on Saturday

First game is against arsenal

26 Mar 2013 13:45:34
Adkins will do a great job for reading it may be a big ask to keep up but you will be watching decent football cannot believe the way he was treated by cortese. Everyone you speak to holds him in high regard.

Um. Arsenals are first game then Southampton.

I think the poster meant to say first home game in charge, which is obviously pretty significant, if not more really (as Arsenal wouldn't really be seen as anyone as a game we can take points from) and this just happens to be against his old club.

26 Mar 2013 08:57:03
Robbie Blake will join Simon Grayson at Pne next season.

Only for a meal and a pint, not on the pitch.

26 Mar 2013 11:39:55
In think Robbie Blake is a tricky player and would be ripe for a short term loan to Pne to test his fitness etc. Longterm? i'm not sure

26 Mar 2013 08:13:28
Diame of West Ham to move to Aston Villa in the summer - IF Paul Lambert's side stay up, he is the no. 1 target

They've got no chance of signing him.

You think you have a chance of signing diame? you need help

If you have ever been a villa fan the most important time is now you need to go and watch them in the premier and make the most of watching premier league football.

26 Mar 2013 06:34:58
It has been reported by The Star that Brighton will be signing Simeon Jackson from Norwich on loan. Perhaps this is not the striker Brighton fans had envisaged. But, with Ulloa the more you think about it it could be a good pairing. Sounds a done deal with Jackson signing today or Thursday. JP

Good work the blues are going up!

And so are your season tickets lo.

Season tickets are going up regardless of whether the club are : (

26 Mar 2013 06:20:14
I'm a Southampton, fan you've pulled a real cracker in our legend Adkins. He will give the city moral he's a brilliant manager he won't be unfairly treated like he was Southampton - congratulations

I second that - Reading will have someone that is rare in football today with his honest, ethical ans positive approach to the game. Most Saints fans can only wish Nigel every success in his new role - he was learning fast the demands of the PL and will be an assett to your club.

Southampton season ticket holder here wishing nigel every future success

Yeah Reading don't treat their managers unfairly, just ask Brian McDermott

At least he will be given power to buy players unlike Cortese picking who HE wants

26 Mar 2013 00:59:35
Kevin Blackwell has resigned twice in the past fortnight but the directors at Bury have persuaded him to stay.

Lets hope it's 3rd time lucky!

Please please please please please please please please will he go please please

Then it's true what he says - he does know where the bodies are buried!
