Thorsten may be looking at a new club as Grayson has said he wants Norwich goalkeeper Declan Rudd as PNE's number 1.
Thorsten hasn't signed a new contract and will be available to sign for another other club on the 1st June.
The Burnley rumour could well be true as Thorsten wants to play and other clubs will offer him a job as their number 1 keeper.

Steve Nicholson who reports for the Derby Telegraph and has links with Clough and his team seems to have mentioned the idea that Derby are interested in Russell and out of the blue followed him on twitter last week. and Sam Rush tries to skip the topic every time it's mentioned.
Have Derby been linked with that many players?
Don't think so. Grant, Martin, Vaughan, Baptiste, Forsyth, Burke, Russell, Forrester and Broadfoot are the main rumours that have gone round. Can't say I've seen many different to those.
I agree the only player that came out of the blue last year was O'Connor from Donny. The past two seasons the DET and Radio Derby have been spot on with our targets.
This would suggest that don't expect many rabbits out of the hat. I think the only thing that has changed is now we are not looking to strengten midfield. Sam Rush was talking about an expierenced midfielder during his little roadshow in April/May.

I think he wil do a good job at Everton, that said, it depends on what your expectation level is.
If you are looking to get into Europe on a regular basis, I am not sure he will be able to deliver it. Without some major investment though I am not sure anyone could. My wife and son are season ticket holders at Goodison, on the occassions my wife can't make it, I sometimes go to the game with him.
I see Everton maybe 5-6 times a season. Whilst no expert on them, I would say that you should get a little more entertainment for your money. Everton are pretty direct at times and aren't that great to watch (my opinion and no offence intended). I would expect that to change IF he is appointed.

Bradford City are in talks to sign Jimmy Walker. The 39 year old Goalkeeper was released by Walsall where he was previously play/coach. Bradford City are understood to be looking for a player coach after Matt Duke is in talks to sign for Northampton Town in a similar role.
What the same Jimmy Walker that has just signed a extended deal with Posh to remain their goalkeeping coach!

MK Dons are set to announce that their first signing for the new season will be Andrew Davies of Bradford
Andrew Davies has already stated that he loves it at Bradford City. Also if he was to move away from Bradford City it would be to his former club Middlesbrough.
If Davies leaves it will be to a Championship club. And a good one at that. He won't take a sideways, maybe even slightly backwards (probably less likely to go up) step and go to MK Dons. Said he loves Bradford City, the manager and fans. Would take a hell of a lot for MK Dons to get him. Also lives up north (Middlesbrough I think) so unlikely to go to London.
If true then I would be happy to see him join.

Walsall have turned down 1M from a unnamed premier league club, they are apparently holding out for 1.5m. Walsall are also considering redeveloping the away end of the ground ( to a two tier stand ) should they agree ground sharing with Coventry City this would start in 2016.

Big rumours that Lukaku will be on his way back to West Brom next season on another season long loan. West Ham are interested but with Mourinho being good friends with Clarke, it is doubtful that he will go there. Lukaku has also taken to twitter saying that if he doesn't get first team football at Chelsea, he will return to the Baggies.

Ipswich Town are set to go double Dutch as they look to bring in Kevin Brands and Lorenzo Burnet.
Burnet is seen as the replacement for young full back Aaron Cresswell who is expected to complete his £4m move to Aston Villa within the next week.

Lee Miller to say at Carlisle and will sign his contract upon his return from holiday. Rangers showed interest but he has decided to accept an improved contract at Carlisle. He has had a pay rise, hence the offer of a 1 year contract rather than 2. The option of a 2 year deal has been written in to his new contract should Carlisle get promotion. It's been proved time and again that a club needs 4 specialist centre backs. Hughton has avoided using Barnett at every possible opportunity, so we can only deduce that he does not rate Barnett very highly and is probably on the way out. So that means that Hughton must be planning to bring in one more CB and one more left back to replace Tierney. With those two signings I think we could expect a solid defence.
He has Ayala out on loan so he has cover at CB but no LB cover unless he plays someone out of position such as Whittaker or Ryan Bennett.
