Berbatov is set to sign a new double your money 5 year contract. Some big money signings are in the frame&of course the rumour mill is in full swing, being linked to players like Nani, Bale, Metzelder, etc. Apart from a clear out of dead wood like Murphy, Mido, Routledge, etc. There won't be any big money players leaving the club unless a better player is coming in to replace them (ie Bent for Defoe or Davies for Gardner, etc. ) - The club has the funds. Semi Final of the League Cup, 1/4 Final of the FA Cup&At least the same in the UEFA Cup has brought in some extra unaccounted funds. Still going strong in the league (looking for 5th or 6th place)&an extra £30m in TV Money + the Club are putting up Season Tickets/ Membership next year.

Sir Alex Ferguson has many targets for this summer. Arsenal has a young team with a bright future, Chelsea has the money to bring any player they want and Liverpool also have the funds for bringing to Anfield talented youngsters. However United have a lot of older players like Giggs, Scholes and G. Neville. For this summer SAF wants to build around Rooney and Ronaldo a team that can emulate all the competitions. For those who keep talking on about Nani and Bale to Spurs. Nani is not available to be offered to another club as United have first refusal on him. They have decided to bid for him and therefore will talk to the player before anyone else.
WE KNOW Torres will not move to OT, and Fergie is desperate to land Berbatov, but Spurs will not sell him (Understandably as he is amazing) therefore a predictable move for Gudjohnson will happen.
Richards will not join and neither will Deco (thank god) The 2 young Brazilians will come into the squad next season, and Pique will also be offered a contract extension. I know he is a centre half.

VILLA RUMOURS
Aston Villa have sign Sidwell they won't confirm it until July trust me it 100% done, he won't go to Celtic we all know why.
Darren Bent will have a choice of villa, Newcastle, Spurs and Birmingham (if they get up) if Charlton go down 8mil
if Spurs win the race then Defoe will leave for Aston Villa as Martin O'Neil wants him more than Bellamy.
Craig Bellamy will go back to Blackburn if they sell McCarthy to Rangers or go to Celtic 7mil
S. dustin is set to join Fulham for free on a 40k a week deal
Liverpool will sign David Villa this will happen for 25mil and will also be in for Lennon but Spurs will turn down all offers.
Giles Barnes want to join Spurs but villa, Everton and Newcastle will offer more money for him.
and Reo-Coker doe not fancy a move to Everton and will join Aston Villa for 5. 5mil
Ben Foster will also join Villa on a years long loan.

Almunia (maybe) - Due to him being a 'cup keeper' he is tierd of this and will leave during the summer. The move to Spain is likely.
Aliadiere - Middlesbrough will follow up on the winter bid with a £4m move for the striker.
Ljungberg (maybe) - Despite all talk that he is staying till he retiers, lack of first team football this season has taken its toll.
Senderos - He is young, yes but still hasn't learnt any discipline.

Arsenal will not sign Eto'o. I don't think Wenger will buy him as he probably won't go over the £13m he paid for Wiltord unless he can get a bit of a bargain. Say around £18-20m

Okay lets clear up a few things. C. Ronaldo is definitely staying with Man Utd. Nugent is definitely going to Everton. Eto'o is definitely staying at Barcelona for atleast another season. Villa is definitely staying with Valencia. Bale will not move this summer. Lampard, Terry, Mourinho will all stay with Chelsea. Fact.
Now for the players who are moving.
Hargreaves is definitely going to Man Utd. Nani wants to go to Man Utd, but will go to Spurs as ferguson thinks he is too light weight for Premiership football, but could be possible move in future. Quaresma will go to Chelsea. Gudjohnsen will go to Man Utd. Huntelaar will go to Liverpool. Sneijder will be the main guy chased, with Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, juve, AC Milan, inter, Barcelona and Real Madrid all desperate for his signature. If sneijder goes to Barcelona, expect Xavi to leave for the prem, with Man Utd and Liverpool leading the race. HAZE
There will be massive transfer activities in Oakwell in the Summer. Barnsley will sell Heckingbottom, Paul Hayes, Neil Austin, Anthony Kay, Marc Richards, Nathan Jarman, Nick Colgan, Danny Nardiello and DWayne Mattis. They will let Nicky Wroe, Robie Williams, Simon Heslop, Nathan Joynes, Ryan Laight and Thomas Harban on loan to lower league clubs. They will bring in Uruguyans Omar Pouso and Gonzalo Sorondo as free agent as well as Rohan Ricketts. They will also sign Dimitrios Konstantopolous from Hartlepool, Russell Perrett from Luton, Leon Constantine from Port Vale who will be in part exchange for Marc Richards, Pter Bore, Ian Roper and John Hartson. They will also sign Dean Lewington on loan, Julian Gray on a free transfer from Birmingham, Jay Tabb from Coventry and finally to end all of the fantastic transfer saga they will sign Peter Rajczi for just under £250,000.
Chopra to stay at Cardiff city, even if Cardiff do not go up he believes they will next season
In the summer Burnley are set to sign a few players including 2 from the lower leagues. The lower league players are thought to be Anthony Le-Fondre from Stockport and Izale McLeod from MK Dons. Also they are set to sign Leon Best as Andy Gray is thought to be moving on to new pastures with Birmingham thought to be showing an interest. Burnley are looking at 17 players all over Europe.

Sidwell has rejected all of the offers Reading have made, and at one time saying how he has to think about his family - bless him! Like £25k a week is a tough life, right?
Reading are hopeful of signing Sean Davis of Aston Villa for £2m and Derby's dynamic young midfielder, Giles Barnes for £4m.
I read today that Nuggent is a big target for Derby if they go up. Many may laugh it off but I would not. Usually under the surcumstances he would have been linked with us when Billy D first came to Derby, but not one mention.
Pearson went to Derby because of Davies but could have gone to Sunderland (bigger club). I say.
Mancini of Roma to Everton? no chance! and for 5m makes it even more hilarious, if Mancini does leave Roma which is unlilely becuase he recently said. "Many clubs want me, but I won't leave because I am very happy here.
"There's nothing to talk about regarding my contract renewal. But I am happy here. "
if he does leave it will take a a club like Real Madrid or Barcelona to prise him away from Roma and a lot more than 5m.
ps. fred piquonne joined Monaco in January so that also rules out Everton signing him from st etienne.
although Everton will probably buy barton and Nugent in the summer as according to all the talk I hear they lead the pack of clubs chasing both players valued at around 6m each.

Rumour is cooking up around Villa Park that "Big Marv" Marvin Andrews could be on his way to the West Midlands club. The 31 year old former Rangers defender, currently ploughing his trade at Raith Rovers, is believed to be a target for Villa boss Martin O'Neill this summer, with an injury hit Martin Laursen on his way out, possibly to Midlands rivals West Brom (perhaps a £1m deal), looking to replace the soon departing Curtis Davies, who's on his way to Newcastle United for around 6. 5 million. I tip Bramble to move to Birmingham this summer for about £2 million, having fallen out of favour with boss Glenn Roeder.

Expect AFC to make a bid for Everton striker Andy Johnson, who wants to leave EFC and move back to London. Rosicky to sign for INTER. If AFC don't sign Woodgate then see Matthew Connolly replace Senderos who will move to Serie A in the summer. Also AFC target Celtic goal keeper, Artur Boruc will not sign for AFC as he has decided to stay on at Celtic.
