Liverpool and Real Madrid will be two clubs linked in the next few months. If Real sack Schuester their number 1 target is Rafa Benitez. Real are also interested in Xabi Alonso. LFC interested in Sergio Ramos. The problem with Alonso is not altogether a footballing one. Alonso lost his form early last season but it was his refusal to travel to Milan along with other personal problems that made Benitez decide that Alonso was no longer fit for purpose. Whether Alonso's form this season and his apparent promise to improve off field is enough to persuade Benitez not to sell remains to be seen. It was the club's insistence that Alonso stays as they didn't feel Barry was a better alternative. If Benitez doesn't sign his contract by end of Jan, look out he'll be on his way. LB, RB and RW are the three areas Benitez wishes to strengthen. Forget any notion of 30 million £ bids they aint going to happen. However Simao of Athletico is a big target for the summer. Nothing doing in jan window i have that from good authority as i know the tea lady at Melwood!
Arsene Wenger will put a 5mil pound bid for Blackburn's Chris Samba. Demy De Zeeuw will also move to the Emirates in Jan for 3mil pounds.
Arsenal new chief executive Ivan Gazidis has already contacted Barcelona yes barcelona to negiotate a sensational deal to resign Thierry Henry who would return to Arsenal for another 3 seasons. Henry will jump at the chance to join.
West Ham are now ready to broker a deal with Sheffield United. Everyone involved knows that the £30million plus figures being bandied about are just shock tactics in order to get as much money as possible. As West Ham now want to sell, they are offering a choice of Matthew Etherington, Callum Davenport, Lee Bowyer, Kyel Reid, Tony Stokes and James Walker. The offer is for Sheffield Utd to choose any two of these player on loan, with West Ham paying all wages until January, when any two will be transferred on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee, this will in fact be £1 each. This would give Sheffield Utd the compensation they believe they deserve, whilst West Ham would save some face, lower the wage bill and speed up the sale process. This deal has been brokered by the FA in the hope that future problems can be kept out of the court room.

Drogba and Adriano will be subject to a swap between Chelsea and Inter, with Inter spending 15–20 mil + Adriano. Drogba has reportedly been spotted in a restaraunt in Fulham with representetives of Inter, however Drogba denies this. According to Sky Sorts News, City are looking at Olivera, John Terry, Kolo Toure, Ashley Cole and Kaka in January. Frankly, this is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard. Olivera and Ashley Cole maybe, but Terry, Toure and Kaka? Yeah right. Toure and Terry are committed to Arsenal and Chelsea and Kaka would not be interested in moving to a smaller club. If he comes to the prem, it will be to Chelsea.

With arsenal struggling in the epl expect villa to spend some of randy lerners cash in jan to mount a real claim for 4th. Can every liverpool fan please stop linking yourself with every player u can look up on youtube, ageruo, rafina, valencia, ramos, to name but a few, where exactly do you think your gunna get that sort of cash from??? your owners cant even get along together let alone fund tranfers of the amount of money your saying. to the celtic fan who said inesta for 8m, 8m?????? for a international reg, euro winner, title winner, camps league winner etc?? that ones wishful thinking dnt you think considering hes only 24!? rangers are skint to so i would expect hardly any 'big' sighnings going spl, maybe few spl club to club. arsenal NEED to make a REALLY gd signing jan, to get 4th, with there new stadium to pay for, and will. chelsea have the cash but scolari is shrewd and will get players that he needs not just big names. If Keirrison looks like he will be able to compete for the 2009/2010 season, no striker will be bought in the summer. If he is not going to be ready, Rafa will try to sign Fred from Lyon on a free.
Dossena will be judged by the end of the season. If he has not showed any signs of promise he will move on. Rafa however wants him to stay if possible.
A right back will also be on the agenda, someone with pace and attacking ability as well as being solid at the back. Glen Johnson and Alan Hutton are on that list.
Arsenal will raid TSG Hoffenheim in january, for Vedad Ibisèvic and Per Nilsson. .goonersa
