Gordon Strachan's prority signing this summer is three big name strikers. He has had a nightmare with injuries and performance with his four strikers this season: Vennegor of Hesselink plays two games max then is injured and Craig Beattie had never played a full two games in a row in his life. It is easy to forget Beattie is in his 5th season in the first team and is the most injured player in their history since Phil O'Donnell. Miller's performances are not up to scratch and Zurawski is not injured at all but cannot make the first team his performances of late have been nothing but shocking. I spoke to him after the AC Milan game and asked him if he was injured and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked to his car. So Beattie (nominal fee), Miller (1 million) and Zurawski (0. 5 million) will all be allowed to leave in the summer while Kevin Phillips, Andy Cole (despite their ages) will come in with Stephen Naismith of Kilmarnock. Jim O'Brien will be given a chance if he continues to impress during his loan spell at Dumfermline. Strachan is also interested in Christian Dailly and goalkeeper Craig Gordon (if Borac leaves for Arsenal) . Gary Caldwell, when fit, will also move into Def Midfield in replace of Neil Lennon who has been the worst player in the team this year.

MIKEY

Right lads please lets stop the crap xgeordie boyx is keeping up his end of the bargain just look in the archive who first posted woodgate back to Toon pos swap with luque plus cash then people write stuff like Villa to Villa bull sht I might as-well put Rooney and Ronaldo to Toon in summer for £20mil its a rumours sight no a dreamers also why do people re-write my rumours two days later like Jol now keeping Keane and selling Defoe if you don't believe me read the archives its in black and white so for all our sakes please lets post the same rumour day after day after day the only new rumours I have for you guys is

sorin def to LFC

also see At Madrid rue there chance of not selling Torres cos deals now look more likely to be £14mil than the £30mil after the world cup unlucky never rated him still I will carry on for my quest for Toon to sign g Barnes up the Toon XGEORDIEBOYX

Firstly, to the guy who had Aston Villa signing, Villa, Richards, Van der Vaart etc - you have your club spending over 100million - keep dreaming - for the last Time this is a rumours forum not a fantasy football forum. 90% of the names you mentioned wouldn't dream of signing for villa.

Anyway on to Scottish rumours - Rangers, expect a strong push from Walter Smith and Co to buy mainly Scottish talent this summer. Gow already signed to pre-contract, expect renewed interest and a tug of war with Celtic for Scott Brown and Darren Fletcher. Also on the Gers radar should Dado Prso not be offered a new contract is former Celt Mark Viduka, altho his wage demands will most likely make the move unlikely

The rumours of a swap deal miller for McFadden are complete nonsense, as are the consitant rumours linking Tymoschuk with Celtic, who is in fact joining Dick Advocaat at Zenit. Also nonsense are the rumours that Celtic have signed Sidwell to a precontract - although the player has indicate an interest, he would only sign if Reading go down which now looks highly unlikely.

I recently went on a museum tour and stadium tour of Anfield and during the tour the two guides leave you to take pictures and have a nosey around the dressing rooms etc. Anyway, whilst I was taking in the sights I overheard the two guides talking about the takeover, the money Rafa has available. They mentioned that the talk in and around the players is that "Rafa is determined to get David Villa, and the rest of the squad are excited by his arrival".

They went on to say that "the team next season will have a lot more pace, especially if Lennon does come".

Also overheard was, "Pederson and Riise will work together really well, it'll be a Norweigian left side".

Expect moves to be made.

1st team:

Reina

Richards / Carra / Woodgate/ Riise

Lennon / Gerrard / Alonso / Pederson

Villa / Kuyt

SUBS: Carson, Finnan, Agger, Sissoko, Crouch

Just to say that although Villa have a fair bit of financial clout they person that posted that they will spend over £100m on new blood is a joke! Put simply, they have not got quite that money. Secondly, David Villa would only sign for a club in the Champions League, and thirdly, Villa signed two new strikers in January, I doubt they'll sign a further two in the summer! One rumour of my own for you all to speculate over: Arsenal may well make an audacious bid for Ben Foster in the summer as Lehmann's replacement. This deal would only happen if Foster is not made automatic first choice next season at Old Trafford and he will command a fee of around the £6m mark. (tibbs)

Who ever started that rumours about Villa to Aston Villa, it was a mean thing to do, look at all these idiotic AVFC fans who actually believed you, it's just cruel and you should think twice before you do something like that again. So if Boro fans see any rumours about Torres coming or Ibrahimovic to Man City, based solely on the fact that the players wear a certain brand of boot, it's just that guy having a laugh, ignore it, rise above it

Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler will be on the move this summer, possibly for the last Time in his illustrious career. Fowler will slip even further down the Anfield pecking order next season following the signing of Andriy Voronin on a free transfer from Bayer Leverkusen, and with Peter Crouch, Dirk Kuyt and Craig Bellamy already ahead of him, the former Leeds striker will undoubtedly be on the move. Not forgetting, Anthony Le Tallec, Djibril Cisse and Florent Sinama-Pongolle are all currently out on loan and could yet return to Merseyside, so the veteran could even ask for a move before being told to leave. Birmingham City will make a move for him in the summer, and they see him as the ideal replacement for Nicklas Bendtner, who will return to Arsenal once his loan deal expires.

Bad rumours for Chelsea fans I'm afraid. A neighbour of mine has just returned from a trade mission to Moscow, where during one of the many coffee breaks ( your tax money hard at work eh?) he was told by his russian counterpart that Mr Putin has given Abramavich an ulTimatum. Divest yourself of all your foreign investments and return the money to mother russia for re- investment there. He can keep his luxury Villa in Monaco apparantly. Failure to do so will result in an investigation, trial and imprisonment for fraud. Mr Abramavich has agreed to do so within 18 months. So there you have it, no more Chelsea moneybags.

Arsenal rumours .

Ribery will be moving to Arsenal as he said he can not resist the attraction from big clubs and Arsenal look favourites.

Arsenal may go for a keeper aswell oscar ustari looks tasty but Barcelona are sniffing about too.

arseanl will not buy a CB.

Hello.

Man Utd will sell Richardson, Heinze and Silvestre this summer. Then expect to see Hargreaves, Bale and Ashton / Defoe at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo will stay.

Robbie Fowler will be signed by Leicester in the summer on a 2 year deal.

Gary Neville has fallen out with Sir Alex Ferguson ever since his interference with Lille in the Champions League clash. Ferguson isn't purely casting Neville out on the incident with Lille but has decided that he is to opt for a different skipper at the end of the season with Rooney and Giggs being considered.

=v1=

Expect Juve to spend big this summer, contrary to reports on this site, players like Salihamidzic have already signed for Juve, as well as Grygera. They will also buy Klose (18m), Emerson (4m), and possibly Zambrotta (6m) . These signings will be payed for mainly by the sellings of Bojinov (8m) and Trezeguet (11m to Liverpool) .

West Ham 1st XI will look like this next year:

Caroll, Mears, Davenport, Daily, McCartney, Reid, Quashie, Noble, Etherington, Ephraim, Hartson.

Loved the fella who reckoned he had flown to Malaga with Glen Johnson a week ago on Friday, Glen did well to get back to Wigan the next day.

The agent of Fernando Torres has been in contact with Manchester United, under the instructions of his client. Apparently Newcastle United made a £25 milllion offer for the Spanish hitman in January. However Torres is understood to have told close friends and family that he is only interested in a move to Manchester United. The fee will be around £22 million pounds. I have sources close to Old Trafford that tell me the deal has been in the pipeline for a while, and despite media speculation he was close to signing in 2006, the plan was always to get Torres on 2007. The same source also told me that Torres had been given a guided tour by Patrice Evra. Evra also gave him a tour of his Cheshire mansion. Torres reprasentatives are understood to be looking at suitable accomodation for their client

Manchester United are also keeping close tabs on Sporting Lisbon winger Nani, who is reluctant to commit his future to the Portugese club. However Sporting will do all they can to keep the talented winger. Should they part company a large transfer fee would be commanded. Other target Joao Moutinho is happy to stay in Lisbon

Stoke whizzkid Owain Barnett will have a trial at Newcastle United in the next couple of weeks as they see him as there long term left back. The next Wayne Bridge I've heard. Also the Toon on verge of signing Lucio of Bayern Munich in a deal which would see emre go the other way.

CALLIN ALL TRUE GOONERS.

NOW DON'T BLAME ME IV THIS AIN'T TRUE BUT.

EVERTON RUMOURS-james Beattie will definitely be leaving in the summer, with a number of prem clubs after him and could be included in the deal involving David nugent (if Preston does'nt get promoted) . Why DM is looking at nugent I don't know as his main push is for EVERTON to become european regulars again and become the great team it once was, yet he wants to spend around 6 million on a striker who can't even establish himself in the championship - 13 goals is quite poor at the valuation. Arteta will be staying aswell as Cahill unless a stupid offer comes in. Evertons main push is to finalise fernandes deal (very impressive), a left back and a holding striker to partner A. J. rumours around Goodison (my mate works there) is that there have been enquiries about Johnson from a couple of prem clubs including Spurs and Portsmouth but DM has slapped a 15million price tag on him as he is seen as the next linekar and he is still nowhere near his prime. names branded around at the moment is gudjonson-Barcelona (depending on villa) 9M, leighton baines-Wigan 3M (with carsley) and samaras-Man City 6M.

-MOSSY-

Arsenal will take advanatge of there first season in the Emerates by splashing out. I used to have a 3% share in Arsenal in the 90's so I am close to the club. £40,000, 000 is there budjet and the names I have seen on Arsenal wengers short list are as follows (not all of these players will be sighned) . Woodgate, Buffon, Etto'o, Kompany, Xavi and Berbatov

Liverpool FC Rumours:

I predicted about 3 months back that Voronin would come to Anfield. He was being scouted back then - I know because my father is bessie mates with a scout for the club.

David Villa is being properly hunted by LFC, Chelsea, Utd, Barcelona - all their scouts are working overTime to secure talks with the club. Whoever signs him will have to cough up £30m+. My dad's mate is opTimistic that he'll sign for LFC though as Rafa and the new money behind the club is a big draw.

Other potential signings for the summer: The list is actually endless but most likely to sign are Huntlaar, Gamst Pederson and Alves.

Keep the rumours real! - Paolos

Curtis Davies is really eager to join Newcastle and will do so in the summer for about £7m with Bramble going to West Brom in an exchange deal.
