Watford to receive around £3.0 million for Danny Graham as well as Simon Cox. They will also receive around 2 million from the Ashley Young deal to United. 3 million of this will be used to clear debt and Bassini has given Mackay a transfer budget of 2 million. His targets are:

The club is beleived to have tabled a 150k plus clauses bid for the 25 year old target man.

Brentford are set to appoint Graham Roberts as first team manager. The 51 year old is currently manager of the Nepal national team but is prepared to walk away for the chance to manage in League One. Roberts is flying into London on Tuesday night to finalise the deal. This will be announced sometime within the next week.
Also, Brentford are due to set up a feeder club in the Far East, in a similar vein to the Chengdu Blades. This will be announced over the summer.

Sir Alex Ferguson will be allocated a transfer budget of £65m once Man Utd have received all of their annual sponsorship and tv revenue in June. However, it is almost certain that At. Madrid wonderkid David De Gea will complete his £17.5m move to Old Trafford within the next week or so.
It is also rumoured that RC Lens' 18 year old centre back Raphael Varane will join the Barclays Premier League champions for around £10m. The promising young defender has impressed Fergie's scouts after making an immediate impact making the jump into the Lens first team squad this season.
That would leave the gaffer with £37.5m to spend and he has previously stated that he only wants to add 3 players to the squad. Therefore it doesn't take a genius to figure that he has up to £37.5m to spend on one player.
As Ferguson has made it clear that he will be purchasing a replacement for Utd's living legend Paul Scholes at the end of this season, for me it narrows it down to just 2 players ...

Tottenham's croatian playmaker Luka Modric is possibly on his way to Old Trafford as Sir Alex Fergsuon continues to search for his replacement for Paul Scholes.
Following Dimitar Berbatov's failure to be included in the squad for Man Utd's Champions League Final fixture in London yesterday, the Bulgarian could be included in the deal. It is estimated that if any deal were to be agreed, Man Utd would have to offer Tottenham somewhere in the region of 30m upfront including Berbatov as an incentive.
United's top scorer is undoubtedly unhappy at being left out of the 18 man squad and has been linked with a move to a number of European clubs. Despite these rumours, Berbatov made a statement indicating that he wanted to stay with the Premier League champions and has made no noises about moving abroad. However he hasn't discarded the possibility of moving to another Premier League club.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has admitted that he needs a striker to bolster his squad as they look to bounce back from being knocked off 4th place by Man City. If they have any chance of challenging for the 4th spot next season, they are going to need a goalscorer and the smooth Bulgarian does not need to prove that he can do exactly that, as Spurs and Utd fans alike will tell you.
How difficult is it for you to understand Modric isn't for sale? Levy has said he isn't, Harry has said he isn't, Modric has said he isn't, even Modric's agent has said he isn't.
He isn't going to United, Spurs need a striker, indeed at least two, but if United want to sell for a decent price then Spurs can buy him without needing to sell Luka Modric, though currently they are chasing Leandro and Falcao(2)(5)

Wes Brown, Charlie Adam and Demba Ba have all be talking to Everton over possible moves this summer, DM wanted to make signings early in the window but due to cash flow issues not being sorted as quickly as hoped some signings may take longer than hoped. An reasonable amount of cash is avaiable but the players that David wants will take more cash than currently is available, this will be added to by player sales, these players will not be Baines, Jags, Felli or Rodwell.(2)(6)

Heard a few things last few days. Danny Wilson's first signing at Sheffield United could be Jonathan Douglas, out of contract at Wilson's former club Swindon Town, and made him captain. There have been feelers out about a Cash + Paynter deal for Ched Evans but this is highly unlikely at the moment.
In the Prem, Lucas Neill could be making a return with either Fulham or QPR. Wenger is looking at signing an experienced keeper (finally), targets could be Green, Friedel, Schwarzer or Given, whilst Clichy's replacement could be Izaguirre, though there are slight reservations over the level of football he's been playing at. Baines is unlikely due to the fee Everton are looking for: £15m plus Bendtner or Chamakh was their initial demand.
United will get De Gea and Young as expected, so Fergie will try a move for Modric but the £30m fee Spurs are looking for has put SAF off slightly, though Berbatov could be used as a makeweight. Charlie Adam could be an option, but only if Scholes retires. Fergie really wants the creative midfielder that was lacking last night. There have been a few whispers about Gourcuff, as Blanc has recommended him to Ferguson after working with him at club and international level. Following Dimitar Berbatov's failure to be included in the squad for Man Utd's Champions League Final fixture in London yesterday, the Bulgarian could be included in the deal. It is estimated that if any deal were to be agreed, Man Utd would have to offer Tottenham somewhere in the region of 30m upfront including Berbatov as an incentive.
United's top scorer is undoubtedly unhappy at being left out of the 18 man squad and has been linked with a move to a number of European clubs. I take you don t understand Blackpool wage structure that Oyston will never budge on. Quality signings? who would come to pool for under 5 grand. If Blackpool paid 1.25 million for DJ and that was pushing the boat out in the premiership. Name any quality players who would except a wage of under 5 grand . ed, any news on sanchez to chelsea? in the paper it said inter were favourites but recently udinese have said they will not sell to an italian club {Ed002's Note - We know that Chelsea and Inter Milan have made unsuccessful bids, and we know that Manchester United and Barcelona have a declared interest. Juventus had previously been interested but were hoping that (a) Sanchez stayed under the radar until a deal could be struck, and (b) Udinese would look kindly on an arrangement that included some cash and several players either in exchange, on loan or in part-ownership as part of the deal. As an aside Juventus have proposed a similar deal for Javier Pastore. Anyway, there was a January meeting with Chelsea in Monaco and broad agreement was reached over the transfer before Giampaolo Pozzo said that the deal must include a loan of the player back to Udinese. Whilst Barcelona were apparently willing to agree to this until the end of the season, Pozzo proposed that whoever Sanchez moved to should allow him to be loaned back for 18 months – hence the end of any discussions. I expect that Juventus will not come back in to the picture. Although Sanchez has been watched by numerous teams including Roma, there is nothing new other than Manchester City having a bid rejected for the player and Inter entering further discussions about the player - but I am told that no further bid has been made. Manchester City, like Juventus, were knocked back in a bid for Pastore and are likely to aim their cheque book in another direction – this may well be another bid for Sanchez. The advantage they have, in addition to being able to match any transfer fee, is the ability to put together a wage deal far beyond anything the other clubs could afford or would be willing to pay. I suspect that we will see this whole saga drag out through the summer transfer window as Pozzo puts the player on the market, takes him off the market, values him at €100M and so on. Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona and Inter will all likely remain interested but could well tire of the expected drawn-out negotiations. Manchester United and Chelsea were both originally wary of the player being not quite as robust as needs be for the EPL. Perhaps Inter will get their man or perhaps Sanchez will take an offer from Manchester City or respond positively to reported interest from the nice folks at Real Madrid.
